"Aside from being there with you, of course," Ryuk answered, laughing along with Phosphora. "Now come on, it looks like there's something interesting up on that mountain."

Natsu froze, taking a moment before the largest grin yet plastered itself upon his face. "IT'S A DOG! A REAL-LIFE DOG! I'VE ALWAYS WANTED ONE OF THESE!" Natsu jumped toward the dog, tackling it into a hug as he began petting it.

The rest of the room went completely silent, and Asuna gave a nod of thanks towards Lucina. "Okay, so as you all know, there's a strange prisoner outside," she began, looking around. "However the troubling part is not this. It's that we don't know how many other hostile people are out there. That means we'll have to take new measures to ensure our safety."

"Aww, thanks," Phosphora smiled. "Yea, let's go check it out." As the two approached, Phosphora was able to make out a few things fighting on the mountain, a wolf creature of sorts, a blue and very very electric unicorn, and a blue and yellow owl. The owl seemed to be at a disadvantage at first, being the only non-electric creature, but then Phosphora realized that while it had wings, the other two did not. "Ryuk! Look at how cute they are! Eee!"

Darkai blinked. The dog barked again, running towards Natsu and wagging its tail even more vigorously. It placed its front paws on his chest (it's like an Iggy-sized doggo okay) and barked again.

Lucina nodded, easily flowing into the idea as she said "Does anyone have any suggestions?" As Henry began to raise his hand she added "Apart from Henry's usual 'summon a ton of Risen' plan."

Ryuk paid little attention to the creatures and instead focused on Phosphora. "They're huge monsters, there's nothing cute about them," he responded, a hint of laughter in his voice.

Natsu giggled in delight, furiously petting the dog. "Loot Darkrai! Come over here and love it with me!"

"A guard system," Mikasa's harsh voice ran throughout the silent hall.

Asuna took a moment before nodding slowly, "go on."

Mikasa remained sitting, though it was obvious she was itching to walk around the hall. "We all have some kind of training or magic. It's only logical that we set up a four-person shift that switches every five hours. Two would be stationed in guard towers on opposite sides of the town, while the other two patrolled the border. Does anyone here have detection magic?"

"But the dog is adorable! And the owl is majestic! And the unicorn is pretty! Can we keep them?" Phosphora couldn't care less that the three were fighting, if she could tame them they'd fight for her maybe. That would be awesome! "They're all so cute!"

Darkrai made an odd chuckling noise and approached the two slowly. He couldn't deny that the dog was cute. He quietly started to pet him, and the dog had no real reaction, just continued to be an excited mess of panting and tail wagging.

Henry noticed Lucina's pointed stare as this was mentioned and he shrugged. "Hey, I just magic. No specific magic, just all around magic. Especially the spooky evil stuff. But I can probably try to figure it out."

Liz wondered suddenly if Kid's soul perception would fit this girl's "detection magic" and Patty clearly had the same idea because unlike Liz, she wasn't afraid to call out "Hey! What about Kid's soul perception?" to which Kid and Liz sighed.

Ryuk gave an amused laugh, "and how do you plan on calming them down enough to take them home?" He questioned, fully aware he could easily complete the task.

Natsu turned around to face Darkrai, the smile on his face unfaded. "Let's take him home!" He shouted, a sparkle in his eyes as he noticed Darkrai petting the creature.

Mikasa paused for a moment, looking at the two possible contestants, "it depends. What if the enemies don't have souls?" She paused, looking around the room. Finally, she stood and began pacing down the hall, "does the angel have one?" She then glanced at Henry, her face unfaltering, "see what you can come up with. It would be better to have two different magic-users than one."

"Magic?" Phosphora shrugged. "It'll just HAPPEN. Because WHY NOT."

Darkrai paused, then nodded. "Rai." He wasn't sure how this would work, but the dog was coming with them.

Kid nodded. "I didn't recognize its shape or colour, but she has a soul," he said simply.

"I could probably try to get Aiden to look around," Jodie volunteered. "He's also invisible. No one would see him."

Ryuk thought for a moment, "do you really want them? What do you plan on doing when we go back to our own realms?"

Natsu scooped the dog into his arms, "c'mon! Let's go show the others," he sniffed the air and began walking back in the direction of the camp.

Mikasa thought for a moment, "then you have your two guard-dogs and a plan." She walked out of the hall, her hair swaying as she walked.

Asuna nodded dismissingly and walked over to Lucina, taking a seat next to her. "Well, what do you think about all this?" She kept her voice quiet as food appeared on all of the tables.

"I'll keep them. They can join the Forces of Nature or something," Phosphora suggested. "I mean look they're fighting and stuff."

Darkrai followed, amused. Natsu definitely liked the dog.

"If you mean this new plan, it's better than having no defenses," Lucina shrugged. "We don't know what's out there. If something attacks, I'd like to know before it kills us."

After a moment of consideration, Ryuk sighed, and the three beasts stood still and all looked to Phosphora. "Happy?"

"You have a point," Asuna responded. "But is it our job to organize all of this, or will Mikasa do it? She seems like she knows what she's doing, and to be honest, Kirito-er, my husband, always took care of the planning portion of battles and defenses, so I'm hopeless with this."

Viridi's eyes began to flutter closed and she began leaning on Dark Pit. She gave a yawn before she slipped into a light sleep, still using Dark Pit as a pillow.

"Yes!" Phosphora grinned and floated closer to the creatures. "I'll name this one Thunder." She pointed to the wolf thing. "This one is going to be Storm." She pointed to the unicorn. "And the owl... I'll name it Cobalt."

"She seems trustworthy enough," Lucina mused, "and she seems to know what she's doing. I think we should at least take whatever strategy she comes upnwith into consideration."

Dark Pit froze when he realized Viridi was asleep. He didn't want to move, afraid he'd wake her up. This was because she'd yell at him, not because he cared, he told himself.

Ryuk nodded, hoping he would remember the names. "Okay, now that that's sorted out, shall we go back and introduce them to everyone?"

Asuna nodded, standing again, "I'll go talk to her. You okay with everyone here?" She questioned, looking down at Lucina.

Viridi frowned, shifting forward in her sleep. Her head fell into Dark Pit's lap, her body following as she lay across him, her sleep becoming deeper.

"Yes, but in order for it to be extremely majestic, you must ride Cobalt. Why Cobalt? Because he seems the most fitting. I'll ride Storm and it'll be majestic." Phosphora smiled and sat on Storm's back.

"I should be fine," Lucina nodded.

Dark Pit could practically feel how red he must be as he stared at the goddess on his lap. He couldn't help noting that she was kind of cute actually.

Ryuk shook his head, floating the two other creatures behind him, "come on then."

Asuna smiled before walking out. She began looking for Mikasa, who seemed to have disappeared.

Viridi moved again, accidentally snuggling into Dark Pit, a small smile on her face as her subconscious made her more comfortable.

Phosphora grinned as they went back to camp. She wondered what Viridi would think of the creatures.

Dark Pit wasn't exactly sure what to do at this point. His wings twitched as he tried to figure out exactly what he was going to do about the goddess in his lap.

(Me too...)

Ryuk followed slowly, lagging behind as he happily watched Phosphora with her new pet.

Asuna finally found Mikasa, giving her a solem look as she did. "Me and Lucina were wondering if you have any specific defense plan details?" She asked, looking hopefully at the girl.

Mikasa nodded in response, raising an eyebrow in question. Asuna seemed to know what she meant, "come back and explain it to both of us at once." The duo began heading back toward the food hall.

Viridi suddenly shot up, a panicked expression on her face. "Dark Pit?" She mumbled once she noticed him, her eyes softening ever-so slightly.

Phosphora laughed aloud as she rode Storm towards the camp. Unlike with Phos and Lux she could move faster on her own, but the feeling she got from riding the unicorn was exhilarating. When she arrived at the base she got off and looked around for anyone who witnessed her arrival. No one. "Aww," she sighed. "Oh well."

"You, uh, fell asleep on me," Dark Pit mumbled, turning his face away from Viridi.

Ryuk laughed at Phosphora's disappointed face, "they'll watch you next time." He landed beside her, putting her other pets next to her. "What do you wanna do now?"

Mikasa and Asuna quickly sat after they entered, both if them looking at Lucina. "Mikasa says she has some of the details worked out," Asuna commented.

Viridi frowned, remember what had happened. "Oh," she paused. "And why didn't you wake me!" She sounded as if she was a mix between flustered and frustrated, though she couldn't decide if she was angry or thankful.

"I dunno," Phosphora shrugged. "It'd be a good idea to find people so they know about these three though." Storm pawed at the ground while Thunder and Cobalt just sat there.

"All right, what are they?" Lucina asked.

"Well I wasn't sure if you'd want me to!" Dark Pit grumbled.

Ryuk nodded, pointing to the food hall. "Most of them are in there," he offered, floating closer to Phosphora.

Mikasa cleared her throat quietly, "I'll put two long-ranged attackers on the towers, and two short-ranged on patrol. They'll be switched every five hours. The one with raven-hair will watch for souls for 12 hours, and the girl will have Aiden watch for the other 12. That way we'll be protected at all times."

Asuna nodded, liking the plan. She looked to Lucina to see if there were any complaints from her.

Viridi got up from Dark Pit's lap, trying to hide her blush, "and if I did want you to?" She paused, "if I had things to do and didn't have time to sleep?"

Phosphora grinned and leaned in to whisper something to Thunder.

Lucina nodded. "That would be a good plan."

Thunder rammed through the door of the food hall (couldn't help it, it was just needed for a creature as majestic as him) and sat there, watching everyone curiously. Storm and Cobalt were just barely visible peeking in behind him as if they wanted to see what was inside.

"Well I don't know," Dark Pit grumbled. "It's not as if I can read minds."

Viridi glared down, "well maybe if you used your head more you'd have thought of that."

Asuna stood, her eyes blazing as she pulled her sword from its sheath and pointed it at the new monster that stood before the tables.

"Senketsu!" Ryuko shouted, standing in her perverted uniform as she held her scissor blade toward the new enemy.

Meliodas's hand flew to the green hilt on his back as he backed away from the rest of the group, hoping it wouldn't come to him having to use his weapon.

Ryuk laughed at Phosphora as he floated next to her, "keeping secrets now? What'd you tell it?"

Mikasa's eyes went dark as she drew her twin Titan-slaughtering blades, "who are you? Who do you work for?"

"To do that," Phosphora shrugged. "I thought it'd be fun." She moved into the hall and saw everyone's weapons. "Oops, didn't think of that. Well these are some random creature things I found and now they're my pets I guess."

Thunder blinked and took a step back. Cobalt watched carefully, ready to move away at a moment's notice, while Storm just stood there.

"I was. Usually you'd rather sleep." Dark Pit shrugged.

Asuna thought for a moment, "so they're safe?" She put her free hand up to signal for everyone to wait as she began approaching the creatures.

Meliodas sat back down, his arm still tense, a movement that was soon followed by others.

Ryuk floated forward, watching the scene before him.

"Well usually I do! I did now! Just..." Viridi paused, unable to meet Dark Pit's eyes. "Not ontop of you."

Thunder nuzzled Asuna, the sound he made only describable as a happy growl.

(Imma draw that at some point it seems cute)

"Well maybe it would've been nice to know that before you fell asleep!" Dark Pit grumbled.

Asuna's motherly instincts kicked in, "you're just a big baby!" She squealed in delight, rubbing the creature. "What's your name?"

(Imagine her saying that with my 'animal' voice. AND YES THAT'S ADORABLE)

"Well maybe you shouldn't have let me fall asleep!" Viridi shot back, crossing her arms and sitting on her knees.

"I named him Thunder," Phosphora declared. She gestured to the other two in turn saying, "The owl thing is Cobalt and the unicorn is Storm."

(Imma draw it now actually)

"Whatever." Dark Pit stood up to walk back to the camp.

Asuna smiled, thinking the names were fitting. "Who's a good little Thunder~," she cooed gently, stroking the creature affectionately.

Mikasa sat uncomfortably, choosing the place next to Lucina. "Do we know those things are safe based on her word?" She mumbled, looking at the table.

Ryuk thought for a moment, realizing he could wreck havoc on the entire camp at any moment.

Viridi huffed, looking down. She figured if she was going to nap, she'd probably be safer back at camp, where someone would probably notice if there was an intruder. Sleeping leaves you in a vulnerable state after all. Which is why she decided to remain where she was, laying on the grass and slipping into unconsciousness almost immediately.

"I can't say for sure, but they seem rather tame," Lucina noted.

Thunder sort of yapped, content.

Darkrai saw the camp, they were getting closer. "Dar."

(Didn't actually get it done but when I do I'll put it in this topic for any stalker-y people to see if they exist (stalker-y people if you exist hi))

Mikasa nodded, flexing her muscles in attemp to relax them.

Asuna stood again, trying to keep a straight face. "Lucine, Phosphora, I think we need to have a little talk," she paused, "in private."

Natsu sniffed the air, tensing as he got a wiff of three new smells. "What is that?"

(True, also sorry I had a thingy due tomorrow and forgot to do it so I did it just then)

Lucina and Phosphora followed Asuna.

Darkrai shrugged. "Krai," he said.

Asuna brought the duo outside, "over here," and walked a little ways away from the hall. She turned around, her face serious. "Those things have some kind of power," it wasn't a question. "What makes you think you can control them at all times?"

Natsu dashed to the food hall, hoping his friend would keep up. Once he noticed the scene unfolding before him, he lit himself on fire and charged at the first creature.

"Well that's pretty much impossible. I mean they listen to me but I don't control them." Phosphora shrugged. "Like they're tame but they're still animals of sorts."

Thunder roared and stepped aside, staring at what appeared to be a flaming human in front of him. He growled.

Storm took a few cautious steps back, and Cobalt took off.

Asuna glared down, unsure of what to do. "We can't have dangerous things here," she began, looking to Lucina for her opinion.

Natsu let our a dragon-like roar, releasing a long wave of fire.

Thunder growled and blue sparks began to fly off its fur as it charged itself.

(Okay so just realized that Storm's an Elder Dragon so it's like super powerful... also she's super chill if you don't attack her (I just gave her a gender okay)
Cobalt and Storm are both weak to fire and water, and Thunder is weak to ice, just so you know)

Storm reared and sent a blast of lightning at Natsu from its horn.

Lucina nodded. "They could be useful, but it's best to not provoke them at the least."

(GAHH I'M NOT ACTIVE AT ALL!)

Midori hid under the table. Kaze just stood there.

(Yeah, but Natsu's a 600-year-old demon who destoyed to world. And useful to know.)

Natsu gritted his teeth as he was hit with the two attacks, his eyes blazing. He fell back before struggeling to his feet again. He did some fancy movement and punched the ground, breaking it as if it was an earthquake, and burning fire splattered onto everything around him.

Asuna's eyes widened as she felt the earth rumble, and lead the two back to where the fight was happening. "You were saying?"

Mikasa stood, glancing around, "everyone get down!" She yelled as she dropped to the ground, hoping the building wouldn't fall ontop of everything.

Everyone else in the room complied, except for Meliodas, who stood, hand on his green hilt, and walked out of the hall to take in the sight.

Storm visibly pulled back, before charging forward with surprising speed to jab at Natsu with her horn. Afterwards (hit or miss up to you) she pulled back again with the same speed and sent more lightning towards Natsu.

Thunder roared and charged at Natsu.

Cobalt gave a loud screech and swooped down close-ish to the ground, scattering a cloud of yellow scales around Natsu, causing him to be confused. (As in the blight from mh. Every motion he tries to make is reversed until it wears off.)

"Well someone probably provoked them!" Phosphora pointed out. "Plus, none of them can do that."

Everyone tried to get as low as they could.

Darkrai used Psychic to try to keep everything in place. "Dark," he said.

Dark Pit stumbled as the ground shook. Some sort of instinct made him run off to find Viridi, and he told himself it was probably because of Pit.

In his confusion Natsu was hit by the three attacks, causing him to fly backward. He stood again, struggling more this time as he charged at Storm, completely on fire. It seemed to be as if there was a dragon also made from fire mimicking Natsu's movement as if it was his partner in battle.

Asuna glared at Phosphora, worrying for everyone's safety. She drew her sword and pointed it at the three monsters, "call them off. Now."

Viridi managed to sleep through the earthquake, (remind you of anyone?) completely unaware of any danger.

Storm circled around to be behind Natsu, blasting him with lightning.

Cobalt flew back up, circling.

Thunder growled and starting charging energy again, fur on his back raising in spikes.

"Hey! Stop fighting!" Phosphora flew forward, and each of the three monsters reacted by stopping whatever they'd been doing and looking to her.

Dark Pit sighed and reluctantly moved to pick Viridi up to bring her back to the camp.

Meliodas gave a sigh of relief, releasing his sword's hilt and backing into the building.

Mikasa stood and walked outside. She looked back in, "it's okay now, you can stand up."

Everyone listened. (Again, my characters)

Ryuk watched in amusement while chomping down on an apple he had stolen from Phosphora.

Everyone got up.

Darkrai stopped using Psychic, nodding in satisfaction when nothing fell apart.

Storm looked between Natsu and Phosphora, clearly still nervous.

Cobalt landed on the roof, which fortunately held.

Thunder stopped charging and the spikes flattened again. He sat back, still eyeing Natsu distrustfully.

Asuna moved between Natsu and Storm, placing her sword back in its sheath, "calm down. Nobody will hurt anyone unprovoked. Understand?"

Natsu let his fire burn out, however his muscles were still tensed, ready to attack at any moment.

Ryuko walked out of the food hall and looked at the scene, "what just happened?"

Mikasa followed behind Ryuko, curious as to what the answer was.

Storm didn't move, though she relaxed slightly.

"They fought," Lucina gestured vaguely to the four who'd been fighting. "He must have provoked them or something about him made them nervous but there was fighting."

Mikasa nodded, accepting the answer. She and Ryuko retreated into the hall to explain the situation to the others.

Asuna glanced at Lucina, slightly afraid the four would begin fighting again if she moved. "We can't have another incident like this," she commented, directing her speech to Phosphora. "If they're to stay, I'm going to have to ask you keep them under control."

"As long as no one upsets them they're fine," Phosphora pointed out. "If they aren't provoked they're tame."

"But for how long," Asuna muttered, letting her hands fall to her sides. She paused, a wave of realization crossing her. "Where's the prisoner!"

Natsu looked around, shrugging. "Don't smell 'er," he answered calmly.

Viridi's eyes fluttered open and she tried to move. After a moment of disorientation, she figured out what was going on. "Dark Pit!"

Leligarm perched in a tree not too far away from the camp, hidden from all the people in it by carefully woven illusion magic. She couldn't be seen, heard or smelled. She watched them to see how they'd react.

Dark Pit jumped and hastily lay the goddess on the ground. "You wouldn't have wanted me to wake you up and there was an earthquake so I figured I'd bring you back to the camp," he mumbled.

Asuna glanced around, looking for any signs of a struggle. She noticed Mercury knocked out on the ground, some kind of magic taking effect on her. "****," she murmured, rushing over. She picked up the girl and ran back to the food hall, carefully placing the girl on an empty table. "She needs medical attention!"

Natsu ignored the girl and instead went searching for Leligarm's scent, knowing he was of no help for healing.

Mikasa remained where she was, keeping her eyes on Mercury.

Viridi stood, glaring at Dark Pit, "and wouldn't it have been just as safe for me away from camp?" She snapped.

There was a general confusion, a few people trying to find where she'd been injured. Henry's grin faded as he saw the unfamiliarity of the dark magic that hovered around her. He'd expected to be able to dispel it with his knowledge of dark magics, but this wasn't anything he knew about. His grin quickly returned however, because he could learn about new dark magics and that was exciting.

"I don't know," Dark Pit snapped.

Asuna glanced around, noticing nobody had stepped forward to help. "Focus your attention on finding the prisoner," she commented, looking around at everyone. "Anyone who thinks they can be of any help stay here."

Meliodas melted into the shadows, using his 'vision' to watch over the enire camp.

Ryuko and Mikasa walked out and began looking where Leligarm had last been seen.

Ryuk floated in, his eyes widening as he saw the girl on the table. "That is some complex magic," he commented, fully knowing how to undo it.

"Then why would you wake me!" Viridi hissed, angry she had been disturbed from her sleep.
