Kumara turned her head to Durza, slightly surprised from his sudden appearance, "I know my limits..." She replied before retrying the move. It ended just like last time, the energy is just about to combine, when they repel and cause a drain in energy. She huffed in annoyance.
"I did this before without even trying!" She hissed, more to herself than Durza. In a fit of rage, she charged a ball of darkness and shot it at a nearby boulder, unwillingly replicating the Dark Lightning she created for the first time. She stared for a moment, her eye twitching before she sat down in frustration and glared at the boulder.
"Oh and so when i don't try, i get it! I see how it is..." she disappeared and reappeared above the boulder in a puff of darkness before proceeding to slam her tail, conducting electricity, directly on top. After slicing the boulder in half she returned to Durza and sighed.
"Life hates me..."

Durza chuckled "that's because you're trying to hard. you're trying to force it when you should let it happen naturally."

"So then, how do i do it without trying then?" Kumara replied.

Durza smiled "simple whatever you feel when you do it emotionally you just need to invoke those emotions and use your elements like you normally would. You wont get it right away however. It took even the most powerful of worriers to master this techniqe."

"So... I make myself frustrated?" She thought about it and decided to give it a go.

And while Durza was training Kumara, Kronos was underground, having found a rather large hole in the ground that lead to that small, underground chamber. It was such a perfect place to spend some alone time, that he was going to make sure he memorized the location. With nobody finally interrupting him, or spying, or even reading his mind, he continued to produce electricity, wanting to make sure that it's tongue got so use to the feeling that he won't feel the pain anymore...

Durza sat back and watched to see what happens.

The black dragoness closed her eyes and began to think about something that would irritate herself. It didn't take long before she got frustrated of doing nothing and decided to try combining her elements again. In no time, both her energies combined and a blast of dark lightning was the result.
She widened her eyes in realisation. All this time she was trying to combine the energies the wrong way. Instead of slowly drawing them together gradually, she needed to force them together immediately!
"I... I think i got it!" she exclaimed before firing another blast.

Durza smiles "good it seems my work here is done."

At the underground hideout, Kronos began to practice on his own. He was finally getting it too. His tongue was getting use to the current, and he was (more or less) being successful in controlling the direction of the lightning bolt. But as he got then and of it, very suddenly, his body glowed, and an explosion that looked like a power plant blowing up obliterated the whole ground above him. The hideout was no more. There was a rain of fire and soil coming down, and Kronos, very startled, got off that place. He was a white dragon, but he got out of there gray and brown.
"What the HECK HAPPENED HERE!?" he asked, having noises what happened. He couldn't have believed that he was the cause of the explosion, so he attributed it to a bomb or something that was implanted there.

Durza heard the explosion ad took off to find the source of it. Quickly arriving at the scene he said "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE!?" surprised at what he found.

"I think there was a bomb in here. I came to an underground cavern here to train, and then, well..." he said, showing the debris and cleaning himself up. Now instead of an underground cavern, it looked like a meteorite fell there.

Kronos stayed blank for a while, not quite comprehending what Sozen said, but then he caught up.
"Wait, are you saying that THIS was MY fault!?" he said angrily, not having any idea what fury meant. He didn't believe he could cause such massive destruction in just one go.

Kumara had followed Durza to Kronos. Her eyes were wide as she studied the damage.
"Well... this was unexpected... But congrats!" she said to Kronos

Durza smiles "well it seems you may have more power in you then I first expected. with practice you could give Reaper a run for his money."

"This... this is impressive.," Raclaw said following the others. He inspected the damage-- surprised at the dragon's capabilities.

Kronos opened his mouth to talk more, but then remained silent, not sure on what to think. He continued cleaning himself, removing the annoying soil and ash from his body, inspecting the exceptionally large hole that, once again, he created without even knowing how.
"It's is more than I bargained for! How did I even do this!? I was about to breathe some lightning, and before I could release it, this happened." he whined, finding all that destruction impossible to do, especially for a dragon too young like himself. He had no idea the impressive glow that went through him before the massive explosion.

"This is a good thing. It.. it means you're getting more powerful.," Raclaw then said reassuring Kronos.

Kronos, from startled, grew exited. He just did that humongous destruction by himself, a chat was so etching amazing.
"Well of course I want to learn to use it. It will be useful against bullies like the one who attacked us earlier. But..." Kronos said to Sozen, welcoming his help, but came to a sudden stop before continuing.
"... I don't know howI did it. I was practicing my lightning normallywhen this happened. How can I practice something if I don't even know how it happened in the first place?" he asked, now getting furious with himself. He was just getting out of his lightning control problem, just to enter another bigger problem.

"It was most likely a build up of energy. Since you weren't using your element properly, a build up of energy must have accumulated and thus needed to release to balance your energy capacity," Kumara tried explaining, "Since the energy had no where to go, and lightning is unpredictable, it created a fury."

Kronos started to feel uncomfortable and upset on how many of them were trying to help him, since he felt like a burden. He tried not to show it though, and as he was about to talk to Sozen, he decided to answer Kumara instead, whose comment offended him.
"That's impossible! I was using my element as always! I have been releasing it for a while. How come something I am releasing can accumulate in one's body if it's getting out of it?" he demanded to know, Kumara's analogy not making any sense in his opinion.

Kumara looked taken aback from Kronos' accusing behavior, "As i said before, lightning is unpredictable," she repeated, "You know, we're all doing our best to help you and you keep shutting us down. If you want answers then listen!"
She didn't wan't to sound harsh, but the way Kronos was acting made her want to pull her scales out.

To avoid any eye contact with her, Kronos instead focused on the giant hole below, and at the still falling debris from the sky. It was imp credible to believe he did that, but then he imagined it must have been his own power, otherwise he would have been very injured with an explosion like that. While he seemed exited to the possibility of having so much power, at the same time, it scared him having so much inside that he didn't even know of and also not knowing how to unleash it, or worse yet, if it could hurt the innocent if it's triggered at the wrong time.

Durza glared at Kumara "Kumara! that's enough!" he then turned to face Kronos "Kronos don't worry, I was going to save it for the next lesson but I think you need to know this. when it comes to elements sure pouring power into them makes them and can determin how strong they are but emotions can act as power amplifiers. the emotions that can give your elements the most power are love and rage. the ones that can make them weaker are emotions like sadness depression and self doubt and most of all fear. understanding these two lessons that I've given you are two key tools that will act as stepping stones for even the weakest of dragons to become strong. since you are already strong just imagine how strong you will be with these key aspects in your life. the thought of how strong you can get actually almost makes me nervous, and that is a very hard thing to do."

Kronos didn't want to believe him, especially since he couldn't comprehend why, after all the years he had tried to practice on his own is that this power decided to unleash itself.
"Well, I wasn't feeling anything when I was training. I was a little bit happy of course, since I was finally starting to control the direction of the lightning, but nothing else. No depression or extreme emotion, just... a little happiness." he explained, believing that his feeling back then was very neutral and that it wasn't possible for a power like that to escape if there wasn't any strong emotion connected to it.

Durza smiled "well joy is a powerful amplifier, even a little bit can make a single volt become several volts."

Now Kronos grew very worried. He felt like he could never express any emotion if it meant an explosion like that was going to occur.
"Well, what now? I mean, it's exited to have such power, but what if I end up hurting someone? Just look at this! This could exterminate a small forest." he said worryingly, demonstrating that, despite his rude and arrogant nature, his heart was in the right place.

Durza smiled "that's what the first lesson is for. it's for control, that way you could control this kind of power at will and you wouldn't need to worry about hurting someone. it's ok to feel emotion. it wont do anything to your elements unless you're using them. now you see why I teach the way I do, so that way innocent lives wont get hurt from things like this."

Kronos was glad with that. Security was a priority, and he would really hate the fact of hurting innocent lives, so Durza's help was welcomed. He then thought for a moment, and realized the possible reason on what could have triggered that destruction.
"When the explosion happened, I was feeling happy. I haven't felt happy in a long time..." Kronos pointed out, realizing that he had been so bitter and angry with everyone and everything around him, that it had been a long time since he felt genuine happiness. Perhaps his power was triggered by happiness rather than anger and stress like so many? It wasn't the first time he felt that way, but perhaps he was too young to have that power the last time he felt that way...

Capella had been silent for the time, silently watching the whole time, "Yeah, cheer up Kronos, it isn't all bad."

Kumara growled, "Don't you dare order me around!" she spat at Durza. He had no right to act as her superior.
After the others started talking again, she decided she wasn't wanted any more and flew away from the group.

Durza smiles "see, that's how powerful emotions are. with the right focuse you could easily beat Reaper, heck you might even be able to give me a good challenge. just remember that before you try to let your emotions affect your powers that you know for a fact that you could control your element. that way you could do anything you put your mind to."

Kronos wasn't sure about the Realer part, but if there wasn't going to be any unexpected attacks at that moment, he was ready to begin training. He was more motivated than before, since he knew that with his newfound power, there was much more at stake. He was so pumped, he didn't even noticed how upset Kumara was.

(Such ninjisu. Hmmm, they're in a mountain-like place, right? Cause if so, I do believe that it'd be the perfect chance to bring my other character in.)

Durza smiled happy to see Kronos so exited to learn.

(Dangit, just as I was going to get Crevice ... if you won't mind, I'll set it before the roar. And yeah, just had to be that there were rocks; good home for someone with earth and ice.)

Before the roar ... a dragon with earth and ice collided with the flying Kumara, though accidentally, "Sorry." He soon said.

Kumara continued to fly in a random direction, following the canyon. She was sick of being treated like a lesser being.
"Those scalebrains don't respect anyone but them selves," she huffed to herself. Shade and Capella were possibly the only ones who she could stand at the moment, "They're all too busy stuffing around when we should be focusing on what we came here for."
She then heard a roar not far from where she was. Being agitated, she decided to find where it came from. She needed an opportunity to release some of her anger.

(Oh oh, K'ara is having one of her 'moments'

Kumara stumbled in the air before spotting the apologizing dragon. She sighed.
"it's not you're fault..."

Nightshade heard the explosion but his eyes snapped open when he heard the roar. he got up and ran out to find the others, and soon reached them yelling "GET BACK TO THE CAVE!! BACK TO THE CAVE!!!" not wanting to find out the source of that roar he grabbed Kronos and took off for the cave.

Now Kronos was feeling very guilty. Even in the commotion, he knew Shade was right. An explosion from that magnitude was bound to have awaken the attention of unwanted creatures,so he knew they were all in danger because of him.

"Come On Kronos!," Raclaw said encouraging the guilt-frozen dragon.
