Well, my TRU said they got the boxes but it should only be Thumpback and Eyebrawl. Oddly, when I asked if she could tell me what the code on the side of the boxes was, she said she wasn't allowed to say. Is that true? I mean, this is the same TRU that had a manager claim they couldn't tell you if they got new or special shipments in even if they had. I KNOW that they're allowed to say if they get shipments, but since when have the blatant codes been a secret?? It's on the side of the box!! If they wanted it secret I'd expect them to hide it a little better....

Thumpback and Eye Brawl to released in all Toys R Us stores tomorrow. Boxes in the back have stickers on them that say DO NOT SELL UNTIL 1/25/13.

At my local gamestop in Norway they said that Hot Dog in a single???, Eye brawl, Thumpback and Ninjiini??? was coming out at 31st of january but Ninjini and Hot Dog in a single pack can the Hot dog be molten or what? It's so wierd if Ninjini is coming out, it hasn't been even see in the US I will take pictures next thursday But what to you think about the Hot dog single and Ninjini

^ You could all see for yourself that he's lying by checking on the Argos website for stock in your area. Unless he just means that he saw them in the catalogue, in which case; yes they are in the catalogue but they're not available yet.

Thumpback, Eye Brawl, Scorpion Striker, the 2 new 3 packs, and singles of Lightning Rod, Stealth Elf, and a few others are available (mine arrived in the mail this morning after shipping yesterday). We got ours from Discshop.se but Komplett and Webhallen also have theirs in. Strangely, I was actually in a Gamestop today and they didn't have them yet.

Just got back from EB Games..... I am now the official owner of Thumpback and Eye-Brawl. What seemed to be a simple doctor's appointment turned out to be a huge find for me! I'm a Canadian too, and they had four of each, so that's great news for Canada. Still not sign of the Scorpion Striker, but it probably won't come in for a while still.

There has been a drought of news ever since Wave 3 and the Snow Flocked figures were released. The only bit of POSSIBLE news is Molten Hot Dog @ Walmart.

When I took over as mod of this section several regular users supplied positive feedback. One of the reoccurring comments was that users wanted one thread that they could regularly check and monitor for news. I chose this one because that was its original intent and it is already stickied to the top of the page.

Everyday I trim through the tail end of this thread and delete posts based on relevancy to skylander news. Cutting posts makes the thread more friendly to other users.

In case one someone posted a picture of HotDog's art. The next THREE users than reposted the same picture with little comments like yeah hot dog under them. Now a user looking for new skylander news has to thumb through the same picture of Hot Dog four consecutive times. Its not fair to other users and kinda off topic.

We do appreciate you sharing that you will be getting certain figures but this may not be the most appropriate thread to do so in.

My deleting posts from this thread should be considered site maintenance and not punitive if it makes you feel better. I also continue to urge users to continue to post and converse on this thread. I try to only purge this thread once a day so others will still see your comments.

Any other concerns or comments feel free to PM me.

This is the only thread I am treating in this manner. One highly moderated thread should be a fair concession.

This thread was started by a reliable user. On the third page he provides a a UPC for the figure. My personal sources at Wal-Mart have also verified.

No, that's just a mistake. None of the Lightcores have their wow pows. It shows LC Eruptor, Prism Break and Drobot to have them too, but they definately don't.

If you look on her trailer, it shows her magic moment and it clearly says "Series 2 LightCore"

He's listed on Argos, but there's no date yet. I believe I saw someone mention that Argos would be getting them around mid February - we'll have to wait and see.

I don't know that a giveaway at one store could be considered a timed exclusive, or that the giveaway in NYC precludes Ninjini being released anywhere else. When Gamestop got the Scorption Striker, they made a big point about they would be the only ones to have it for 30 days, but I haven't seen TRU or Activision say anything like that for Ninjini. I'm not saying that I expect Ninjini to show up at Gamestop this week, in fact I believe that is very unlikely, just that I haven't seen anything from any reliable sources that tells us what to expect one way or the other.

If you look again at the articles promoting the event it seems clear that this promotion is the only way to get one right now. One or two of the promo article state months. I expect to see Ninjini around April. To say published articles have less validity than a post from a user that quoted a little bird and misspelled ninjini is simply wishful thinking.

She is a timed exclusive in the sense that this will be the only way to get her for now. It may be more accurate to state her general release is still impending.

That's just it, they aren't published articles, they are blog posts that don't cite any reliable sources, so there is no way to verify if they are accurate or not. Maybe they are right, maybe they are wrong, but since anyone can post anything they want on a blog, the rules for blogs are just like for posters here - pics or a reliable source or it didn't happen.

Fair enough, that's an accurate way to say it.

I do want to point out though, the blogs aren't even agreeing with each other. Some are saying a few months, some are saying no one knows the release date, some are saying nothing about the release date at all.

The Skylander's facebook page has a pic of the advertisement and a small blurb from them that states: "FREE NINJINI! Be one of the first in line at Tuesday's big event at the Toys "R" Us in Times Square and get this Giant early!" So there's still nothing about when the rest of us will see her. Still, by stating it's "early", they're making it clear that it won't be out everywhere on the 5th. So we have that.

Well, Lurk, people here will still find it hard to believe, even if it slaps them in the face.

I think it's more that they strongly wish something will work in their favor and if they do so often enough, maybe it will be granted?
