OOC: how'd i know you'd say that C09?

'Yeah..'

ooc: i don't know.....

then Goldwing heard someone call his name.
"Goldwing! Goldwing! we've located Angelus!" said Blackwing.

'Finally...'

Goldwing looked at him.
"well?"
"hes at a mountain....fighting some ice dragon....."
"ice dragon? tell me, what does this ice dragon look like?"
"well....he looked normal at first....than.....he looked more like a demon...."
"that must be Frostbolt...."

'Definitely...'

"Blackwing, gather the guards....you must get Angelus to the prison at once....."
"yes, sir..." he said. then he left. Goldwing looked at Nightfire.
"i have a feeling that won't be enough....maybe i should go as well....maybe i should get Fireflight to help....."

'Well, maybe i should come..'

"that would help....if Angelus is alot like Zenith, it would help to have someone there who knows at least one of them.....i will go as well....i do know alot about Angelus, and i have fought him before.....although my age is agaist me......"

'Oh, i might mention one thing... If Angelus can't be hurt... His heart is his weakness no doubt...'

"yes, as is mine......."

'Well... Just saying..'

"yes......well, we should be going....." he said. then he spread his golden wings, and took flight. he flew towards the mountain. Blackwing and many gaurds followed him.

Nightfire followed.

Goldwing saw the mountain, and he saw Angelus. the gaurds immediately landed, and surrounded Angelus. Blackwing landed as well, and Goldwing landed beside him. they looked at Angelus.
"don't try going anywhere....we have you surrounded....." said Blackwing.

Nightfire landed not long after.

Angelus looked at Goldwing.
"so, we meet again, old timer.....tell me, you still feel pain from that last attack....?"
"you did indeed hurt me....but i have recovered from that....i no longer feel that pain...."
"we'll see about that.....!" he growled. then Angel grabbed a large sword. the gaurds got closer to him. "back off....! i want a one on one fight with ol' goldy there!"

Nightfire watched before walking up.

Goldwing looked at Angelus.
"i have no reason to fight you, Angelus...."
"too bad, old man...! how about this, if you win, i'll go back to the prison, but...if i win...i'm free to do what i want for all eternity...!"

'Or you can go back, no one gets hurt and we live happily...'

"no way...! i'm not giving up without a fight...!"
"perhaps you'd rather fight Frostoblt or Fireflight...." said Goldwing.
"no...i'm not fighting icy of firefly...! they're too weak and dumb to fight me...! i only wanna fight you...!" he said, pointing the sword at Goldwing.

'This could get interesting.' Zenith said grinning.

the gaurds stepped back. Blackwing got out of the way. Angelus walked up to Goldwing, and held the sword up to his throat.
"so, what will it be old timer....?! you gonna fight me....?! or be a big gold chicken and run away....?!"
"i have not once run away from anything....and i am certainly not going to start running today....."
"does that mean you'll fight me...?!"
"indeed...but we do things my way...!"

Zenith watched.

"and what way would that be, old timer?!"
"you shall see...." he said. then Goldwing rose up, and roared loudly. it sounded lke a battle cry. then armour magically appeared on him. his armour was silver, and his helmet had a large metal horn on it. the armour looked old, and worn, but still in good use. then he grabbed a large sword. it had some ancient writing on the blade. the handle was golden, and had the head of lion on the tip of it. Angelus smiled.
"nice enquipment, old timer! i didn't think you had stuff like that!"
"i used these back in the old days...i was quite a warrior then..."
"whatever! i bet your too old to fight now!"
"we shall see about that, young dragon!"

Zenith watched.

"shall we fight then, old timer?"
"indeed...and we shall see who wins..."
"yeah, we'll see how quick i can kill you!"
"you cannot kill an elder...nor can you defeat one in battle..." he said, raising his sword.
"whatever...it doesn't mean you can beat me either..."
"then there is no point in fighting if it will in in a draw...."
"whats then matter? chicken?"
"i told you, i run from no one..."
"fine...bring it, old timer!" he growled. then Angel teleported behind Goldwing, and stabbed him in the back. Goldwing healed himself.
"sly move, young dragon...you seem rather cowardly...you lower yourself to stabbing me in the back..."
"then i'll face you head on!" he growled. then he teleported in front on him, and attacked. Goldwing blocked him with his sword.

Zenith still watched.

Angel and Goldwing fought head to head. Goldwing blocked all of Angel's attacks. Angel was getting frustrated. then he shot black fire balls at him. the fire balls hit Goldwing's armour. he didn't feel a thing.
"you'll have to do much better than that, young dragon, if you wish to defeat me" he said.
"oh, i can do much worse!" he growled. then he used a fire fury. Goldwing used a gold shield to block the attack. then Angel went at him, head on, and attacked with his sword. Goldwing blocked that attack as well.

Zenith still watched, smiling.

OOC: i am bes backer!
the demon stood there...then grabbed goldwing and smashed him into the ground.

Angelus then grabbed another sword. he attacked Goldwing with one of them, and Goldwing blocked the attack. then Angelus took the other sword, and stabbed him in the chest. Angel pushed the sword all the way through Goldwing. Goldwing felt the pain. he tried to heal himself, but Angel still had the sword in him. Goldwing felt weak, and could barely stand up now. he looked at Angel. Angelus raised the other sword. he was about to attack him again. then Goldwing breathed fire on him. Angelus stepped back to avoid the flames. then Goldwing pulled the sword out of him. it would take awhile for him to fully heal. Goldwing then threw Angel's sword at him. Angel caught his sword before it hit him. Goldwing still felt weak. he then layed down on the ground. Angel walked over to him, and looked down at him, smiling.

frostbolt regained control.... but still looked he same as the demon.
"get away... from goldwing.." frostbolt grabbed angel by the throat and smashed him in the wall repeatitivly.

Angel pushed him away.
"i shall finish...what i started..." he said. he walked over to Goldwing, and raised his sword. Goldwing was too weak to move. he needed more time to heal. then Angelus stabbed Goldwing with his sword. Goldwing felt the pain. he then layed his head down, and closed his eyes. Angelus took the sword out. then he disappeared.

frostboot ran over to gold wing an froze the stab wound, "stay with us..."

Goldwing barely opened his eyes.
"ugh......i only need time to heal......." he said, weakly.

"i would heal you if i could.. but i stopped the bleding at least.."

Fireflight teleported to them. she saw Goldwing, and ran up to him. she looked really sad, and had tears in her eyes.
"Goldwing....i came as soon as i heard....are you alright....?" she asked. Goldwing couldn't move his head to see her, but he knew who it was.
"Fireflight......i am in pain.....but i should be fine once i heal....." he said, weakly.
"i can heal you..." she offered.
"no.....i can heal myself.....but thank you......"
"what if you can't heal...?"
"then.....it is my time....to go....."
"no...." she cried.
"Fireflight......dry your tears.....i will always be with you in spirit....i have been with you since the beginning....and i will always be there for you.....never have i met a dragon with a heart as good...and pure...as yours...."

Frostbot wiped the tears off of fireflights's face. "we all have a time to go.... technically.. i should have been dead a while ago.."

"but....i've known him almost my whole life....hes always been there...."
"and i shall continue to be there for you.....but i shall be a spirit insted....."
"but what about the other elders....? who will be the head elder....?"
"my son, Goldclaw, will take my place....."
"i thought he was still young...."
"indeed he is.....but he can be the head elder at any age....for he is my son....." he said. then Goldwing lifted his head, and looked at Fireflight. she looked at him.
"you should relax....." she said. he smiled.
"but one doesn't always need, or want to relax....." he said. then he slowly got up. he could barely stand up.
"Goldwing, you should lay back down...."
"ah...yes....indeed i should....but i do have some strenght left...."

Frostbolt helped him stand. "your a tough old dragon you know that?"

Goldwing chuckled.
"yes...i have foguht many times, and won each battle...." he said. then hs stood up straight. he put his armour, and sword away.
"you should lay back down..." said Fireflight.
"Fireflight...my father had a saying...one does not lay down to die...one rises up, higher than the sky....he believed one should never give up...even when facing death, you shouldn't be laying on the ground...he believed you should always stand strong...even in the face of death...."

"the resistance to death is mostly in one's mind... its not that you died of your injurys... some people.. just stop fighting..."

"exactly....i bet Angelus thinks i'm gone for sure now....hehehe....i'd like to see the look on his face when he sees i'm still standing...."
"you know, Goldwing...i think this battle took some years off of you...i've never seen you like this..."
"ah, yes, nothing like a good battle to make you feel young again....ugh...i may still feel stiff, and still feel some pain....but i bet i could go another round....i know tricks Angelus hasn't even heard of....he'll regret fighting me again....you just wait....i'll show him what an old timer like me can do....i still got some fight left in me...."

"you shouldn't have to fight him again.. no one should.... if he is as evil as he thinks.. i can control him..."

"yes, but the problem is he only wants to fight me....i can't find out wh--oh...yes....i know.....i'm the one that created the prison.....he hates that place more than anything.....no wonder he wants me dead....."
"your bloody right, old timer!" growled Angel. Godlwing turned around to face him.
"well, young dragon, you never give up do you?"
"never!"
"well, you have determination, i'll give you that much..."
"yeah, but what i can't figure out is why you ain't dead yet! you should have died the first time i ran a blade through your heart!"
"at least i have one, young dragon! would you care to try again?! i doubt you'll be able to do it again! even if you do, i'll survive!" he said. then Angel got out his sword.
"bring it on, old timer!"

Frostbolt stuck his paw out at closed it... a dark transluscent arm gripped Angel. 'CUT IT OUT!"

Angel ignored it. he glared at Frostbolt.
"stay out of this icy! this is between me and ol' goldy!" he growled. then Godlwing roared, and got his armour and sword back. he looked at Angel.
"then come fight me!" he said. Fireflight got in front of Goldwing.
"no...enough is enough...its my turn to fight him...you should rest..."
"yeah, grampa! you should you go lay down, and die somewhere!" growled Angel.

frostbolt tackled angel into the wall and hit himin the face as hard as he could anda ig clound smoke came up.

Angel teleported behind Goldwing. he then ran at him, and tried to stab him in the back with his sword. then Goldwing turned around with lightning speed, and grabbed the sword. Angel was surprised he could move that fast, and so was Fireflight. then Goldwing bent the sword in half. it was now useless. then Goldwing grabbed his own sword, and looked Angel right in the eye.
"now, i will show you what its like to have a sword go straight through your heart!" he said. then he stabbed Angel in the chest. Angel roared with pain, as Goldwing stabbed him in the heart. then Goldwing threw Angel to the ground. Angel could barely move. he couldn't even keep his eyes open. he layed his head down, and closed his eyes. then Goldwing took the sword out. "after all these years.....i fianly sent Angelus to where he belongs......" he said.

Nightfire looked at Goldwing, then Angelus.
'Um, Goldwing?'
