Any info on our Toys R Us getting the expansion packs this Sunday!? Bug your TRU stores this week, I'm hoping they realize the demand for the expansions and actually do a fairly global release.

Has anyone in Canada seen the Light or Dark packs at Toys R Us???

TRU online are selling the 8 pack traps for $49.99. What the hell? Are they made out of diamonds? That's robbery.

Well it seems Toys R Us (in Quebec at least) will have the new trappers according to this ad:

Just checked Windsor TRU. No new anything and still no Legendary Traps. Not sure if we are even getting the Legendary Traps.

Called EB Games and they have nothing new as of lunch time. But, their shipments don't usually come in until after 3, so I'll call back then.

Wal-Mart is pretty bare, looks like they haven't restocked since Black Friday.

Walmart.ca is showing the three trappers, and their ad starts tomorrow. Getting either Walmart or TRU on the phone is a bugger, but I'll keep trying. I'd assume TRU will know tonight or tomorrow night if they will have them at opening Friday. My plan is to try Walmart tonight, and go tomorrow morning for opening....then TRU is the back up plan Friday.

As for the dark/light expansion...with such a huge announcement today, I'm optimistic it will include TRU Canada for Sunday

Nothing at EB Games...I'll try to get up early and head to Wal-Mart before work and report it.

Between myself and a woman in a further area, we called or checked 7 Walmart stores....none have the trappers that are clearly shown in the flyer starting today. The Toys R Us flyer shows them for tomorrow, but I'm not going unless I can confirm they are in the storeroom tonight. This will be the third flyer in a row for TRU to not be accurate (the last two showed Amiibo that never came). I'd prefer a store just not show something, rather than get my hopes up and waste time and gas. My friend got a $20 gift card for her trouble though this morning, as an employee swore they were in the backroom last night.

I'd also fully expect TRU to have the expansions in the back street dated by tomorrow night, then I'll make the effort to get up early and stand out in the cold...otherwise forget it.

TRU as of today have not received there new stock for the new wave apparently the same with the amiibo stock. and Ebgames still appears to be in the dark about the release.

Skylanders come on a special truck, its best to call them at the very end of the day....I call before they close. If the figures are in their flyer, they better have them cause I'm personally getting sick of this. I know sometimes things are delayed, but they've had mistakes now three weeks in a row (and possibly a fourth)

I went to my local EB games here in Calgary, and saw that they are now stocking used Skylanders in little baggies. I thought this was only going to be a US practice, so I was surprised to see it here in Canada. They had Hot Head, series 1 Zap, S2 Cynder, Eye Brawl, and some others. Anyways, thought I would post it in case others here are interested.

Wave 3 is at EB Games today. I'm assuming Walmart is getting them also, their flyer has a picture of the 3 new Trap Masters.

The EB Games in Toronto's underground path system was already sold out of all new trap masters. I grabbed Cobra, Trail Blazer, and the new mini packs.

Anyone confirmed a TRU sighting yet?

toys r us still hasn't gotten there shipment in Pointe Claire Montreal area.... still hopping since mail is delivered on weekends there shipment may just come late :/

So i asked around at Toys r us and Eb games today and they don't know yet if they have the expansion packs for sunday or not. They both told me to call tomorrow night as they still might get a shipment in on Saturday so fingers crossed.

Both EB Games in Abbotsford, BC have wave 3 in (one had more of a selection than the other)

I got:

All 8 Traps + The Kaos Trap
All 3 Trap masters
Both Mini Packs
Cobra Cadabra and Trail Blazer


No sign of Bat Spin and High Five. No sign of the Dark and Light packs (not that I was expecting to see those).

Had more luck after work - found all 3 trap masters at EB Games at Shoppers World Brampton. Nothing at TRU.

No expectations at all concerning new expansions - would love to have them, but I rarely hear EB get a new delivery on the weekend. TRU at this point will be lucky to get the regular Wave 3 assortment in.

So I'm back. Anybody looking for a Wallop or Krypt King, there are 6 or 7 each at BB downtown Eaton Centre.

EB games Yonge St (across EC) has no Wave 3 Trap Masters (probably sold out), but I did see a couple of Cobracadabra and 3 Trail Blazers.

Just got back from EB Games in SE Calgary. Picked up all of Wave 3 (Blastermind, Tuff Luck, Kaboom), the 2 new mini packs, Cobra Cadabra, Tail Blazer, and the 8 new traps.
Still some stock left as of 2:00pm.

Also, FYI, Costco has a mass amount of trapmasters, especially wave 2 (Head Rush, Bushwack, for example)

EB games edmonton had wave 3 masters traps and minis.... no blastermind for he sold out quickly

yesterday at the eb games in the eatons center i was able to pick up all 3 wave 3 trap masters

Was also able to pick up all the Wave 3 characters from EBGames. The manager saw me and brought out what they just received and let me have first crack. The group at EBGames on Walker is the best! They also had some Kaos traps.

Due to the unfortunate problem we discovered tonight (forgot a couple of presents!), we will be heading to TRU for 8am opening....hoping to pick up the Dark/Light packs!

Also reading other posts, supposedly eon's elite terrafin and stealth elf have started to show up in the states. anyone seen them here in canada yet?

Wave 3 also sighted at Wal-Mart in Brampton (Mississauga Rd + Williams Parkway location). I got there about half an hour before closing, and they had Ka-Boom and Tuff Luck left plus the new traps, including the Kaos trap. So if you haven't gotten wave 3 yet, looks like it's getting out fairly quickly.

I'm in Ottawa and I've been searching almost daily for W3 and the Light and Dark expansion packs. TRU on Merivale Rd. received 3 cases of Trapmasters yesturday (22nd) but nothing else (and no Tuff Luck chase variant either). Thinking now that we may not be lucky enough to receive the Light and Dark packs before Christmas which is a bit of a bummer.

Light and Dark Expansion packs have just hit the Ancaster EB Games for any of you serious portal masters out there that are looking for them. Only a few of each left. Just picked mine up, just stopped by just in case and was totally surprised to find them!

Light/Dark also at Toys R Us across Ontario, not a lot though!

Called Toys R Us on Decarie in Montreal 2 hours after opening and they got Light and Dark expansions today only had 1 of each left. Rushed there only the dark one left bought the last one. Toys R Us at angrignon in montreal had them was able to get there as they just unloaded the truck so got the light one there. I know EBGames on Decarie was suppose to get 3 of each today but the box was missing from there shipment so no luck.
COMPLEXE LES AILES EBGames was pretty sure they are going to get them on the 26th.

Thanks for the heads up guys, I zipped over to my local toys r us and was able to get both the light and dark packs.

$35 is a bit expensive but at least I had a spend $75 get $15 off card. Not enough to get a discount on the expansions themselfs but at least I was able to get an Amiibo for free which is better then nothing. I would have gotten a skylander if I didn't have all the other ones that are out already lol.

Considering I didn't think we'd get the expansion packs until January this has made for one very happy Christmas for me

Called ebgames and they had one of each and couldn't hold then so I zoomed over there and managed to snag them both!!! Woohoo! Best Xmas evar!!!

Got both Light and Dark at EBgames Versailles at 16h15. They were the last ones on the pegs when I took them. They're wasn't any wave 3 at all but Videotron on Masson got them.

It's amazing how fast Wave 3 and the expansions have disappeared! Then again, releasing a bunch of new Skylanders on several of the biggest shopping days of the year didn't hurt! Around this area of Ontario, all the latest trappers are bought up!! Tuff Luck seemed to be the most popular (or maybe the least amount released but I thought shipment breakdown was equal). I figured Blastermind would vanish but he seemed to be a last resort around here once the other two were gone.

Shockingly, the EB Games at Shoppers World, Brampton had one Dark Expansion pack left when I dropped by this afternoon. Not sure how that wasn't immediately consumed. Also the Eon's Elite Terrafin and Stealth Elf were available, taking up space in a corner with the other Elites.

Any news or sightings about Rebel Lob Goblin being an EB exclusive ?

Found him at EB Games today in Oakville. They had just gotten him in and Toys r us and Futureshop had squat so it's probablly safe to say that yes it's an Eb exclusive.

Anyone seen the new second 8 trap pack yet? I'd love to get my hands on that, hopefully from Target again like the first one to save some money.
