"I mean it, Levana, don't blame yourself for it." Sozinta said, taking a step towards him.

He just shrugged again, and looked down.

Sozinta took another step towards Levana, "Levana, look up, your feet have all their toes, I assure you." She said, somewhat jokingly, but mostly to try to lighten the mood. "Hey, if it makes you feel any better, I'll have Fraya punch what ever reaper took her, okay? And, knowing her, she'll be more than happy to do it... "

He just shrugged, and looked up at her face, not really seeing.

Sozinta opened her mouth to speak, but closed it, seemingly unable to find something to say. "You know, I really hate it when English doesn't have the words I'm looking for... " She said quietly.

"I speak fluent French, too, but I don't think that would help either." he said, and picked up half the broken rock, leaning it against the nearest tree. He set his drink down, and set about kicking the stone instead, gentler because he wanted to work up a sweat again here, but still pretty hard.

Sozinta sighed, sitting back on the porch watching him again.

Flandre still seemed very depressed, slowly she stopped playing with her toys, and other stuff. If Flora asked her if she wanted to do something, she'd replied with she didn't or she was too tired to.

Remilia sighed, walking through the halls of the SDM. She looked outside at the moon. She frowned, placing her hand on the glass. Marisa tapped her shoulder from behind, "Yo, Remi. How about I make you a deal?" Remilia turned around, looking at Marisa questioningly. "And, what are you talking about?"

Sakuya was being a busy body, as usual. Cleaning, cooking, and doing other house hold chores.

Sozinta although, that morning or what ever you call it, woke up pretty late, she walking out into the living room in her tank top and loose pants, her hair down for once. " 'Morning." She said, as she went to the kitchen, although she didn't check if Levana was awake.

Flora didn't know what to DO...

Koren was rarely seen, or heard from. She was hardly ever even in the mansion. She was always out, and Lyren was seen training most of the time, with Brock.

Viana and Clerco were seen around occasionally. Viana's stomach grew steadily larger and she took to sleeping most of the time, constantly exhausted. Clerco wouldn't let anyone near her. He was extremely protective.

Levana was still fast asleep, and snoring. ())

And suddenly there was a fast, impatient knock at the door of Flora's house. It would pause for only a second, then start again.

Sakuya walked into the main dining hall, pulling her cart of tea and sweets to a stop. "You seem cheerful, Lady Remilia." She said, setting the tea cup infront of her. Remilia smiled, "I have my reasons to be, Sakuya... " She said.

Patchouli, reading in the library looked up at MeiLing, "Now, why on earth are you in here?" She asked, glancing back down at her book. MeiLing shrugged, "I thought you needed to get out more, you've been looking pale lately." "Shut up, idiot." "Hey!"

Sozinta poked her head into the living room, "If you don't wake up now, I'm not going to make you breakfast!" She said, and ducked back into the kitchen.

Floora was stattled, and now she got up, floating over to the door. She opened it. "Yes?" she had her human appearance on already.

That sure woke Levana up fast. He leapt up, and rushed in.

"Hello! I've come to check on the littlest scarlet, Da Ze!" Said a certain human magician, hoving on her broom stick.

Sozinta shoved a plate of steaming eggs in his correction on the table. "And, that threat will works through out the ages... " She said, sitting down and starting to eat.

"Oh thank goodness!" Flora dropped the fake appearance. "She is going to be so happy!"

He rolled his eyes and sat dowm, digging in. "Thank you."

Marisa blinked, "Hmm...? What did you do to Flandre to make her upset?" She asked, landing and leaning her broom across her shoulder.

Sozinta laughed a little, continuing to eat what was on her plate. "So, what do you want to do today?" She asked.

"I didn't DO anything, she's lonely!"

He shrugged. "I dunno. have any plans?"

Marisa nodded, "I kinda figured." She said, and looked around, "So where is she?" She asked.

Sozinta shrugged, "Other than conquering the world, not particularly." She said sarcastically.

"She's in her room. She won't even talk to me." She said, and lead the way.

He laughed. "Alright, funny, but really, is there anything to do around here?"

Marisa nodded, "Well, hopefully she hasn't lost it. when I found her the first time she was utterly insane... " She said, and went to knock on Flandre's door.

Sozinta thought a moment, "Well, really we'd have to go to the next town over to do anything other than eat out." She said.

He grimaced. "bluh."

Flora nodded, worry all over her face.

Sozinta thought for a moment, "Tell you what, deal with the car ride and I'll take you to the pool." She said.

When Marisa didn't get an answer, she opened the door on her own. Flandre was sitting in the corner farthest away from the door, slowly tearing parts off of her toy dolls. "Flan-chan! Don't you kow it's impolite not to answer the door, da ze?" Flandre looked up at Marisa, but still seemed somewhat distant, "Marisa-sama...?" "Yep!"

Flora was distressed, worry all over her face. "she's been doing similar things lately... Please, cheer her up. But be very careful, her powers are unpredictable." she murmured.

Levana question marked. The concept of a swimming pool was new to him. He just used the lake before.

Marisa looked over at Flora and nodded, "Don't worry, I've dealt with gods before, remember? I'm sure if anything goes wrong I'll be fine." She said, and then walked over to the littlest scarlet. "Jeez, don't look so depressed! Kiddo, let's go play something fun!" She said, smiling widely. Flandre looked as at her smiling, "Marisa-sama..!" "Yep, that's my name, now come on!"

Sozinta paused, "It's like a man made lake to swim in, but you don't have to worry about snakes or other things lurking in the water. Also, people drown less often because the depth is charted out, and life guards are usually on duty." She said, explaining the pool as best as she could.

"oh, that sounds nice." Levana said, smiling.

Flora smiled, glad to see she was feeling better. She smiled at Marisa. "Thank you...." she was still worried, but a little less so.

Sozinta nodded, "There's a lot of fun stuff we can do there, so, first off. We'll get you some swim trunks at the store, then, we'll go to the pool." She said, getting up and setting off to pack various things.

"oh, uh... Okay." he said, finishing breakfast and chugging a glass of water, then going to brush his teeth.

Flandre stood up, smiling at Marisa. Flan then hugged Marisa. Marisa laughed and smiled at Flandre, "It's good to see you, kiddo."

Sozinta finished packing her various things, packing her swim suit last. She head towards the door. "You ready?" She asked.

"Yep." he didnt exactly have much,just a towel.

And with that, Sozinta headed out the door and into the car, starting it up without waiting.

Levana followed her out, siince, well, he was ready to go.

Sozinta started pulling out of the driveway, smiling.

He managed not to cling to the seat like he usually did and managed somewhat.

"You're not clinging to the seat." Sozinta noted, stopping infront of the store, "Okay, go inside and buy swim trunks that look like they fit using this." She said, handing levana some money, "You'll be okay,, and if you have any problems just ask if someone who works there can help find something in your size."

"I am attempting not to cling." He admitted, and took the money. He understood this much, although he still didn't quite get why it was paper and not gold coins. He headed inside.
Ten minutes later he was back out with a small bag, getting back in the car. "That didn't go too badly." He said, pulling out the pair of green swim trunks.

Sozinta nodded, "See? Now, let's go." She said, pulling out of the store parking lot and driving out of town.

Levana couldnt help but cling a little this time.

Sozinta looked over at him for a second, "Tell me, what all do you remember of your time? Before getting stuck in a tree?" She asked Levana.

He sighed, thinking back, and nodded. "Sure." he said, smiling a bit.
"Well, for one, I wasn't exactly poor. I actually was pretty wealthy, honestly. Well, for the time period. We had a huge amount of farmland around here, but it seems that most of it is gone..." he sighed, and closed his eyes. "I would spend my days training, and spending time with my family. As I said, I had two kids, a boy and girl. The boy looked so much like his mother, even at such a young age... His name was Jared. My little girl looked a lot like me. Her name was Nissa." he smiled, remembering. "They were twins, not identical of course..." he sighed, and stopped talking for a bit... "I used to watch the sunset every day with my wife..." he muttered. "Every day, no matter what, unless I was on a trip to sell what we had grown and made over the year. We had a very well known forge. Best weapons in the whole area."

"What about events at the time? You know, wars and politics. Being of a wealthy family, surely you must of had knowledge of these things." Sozinta said, and then paused, "Of course, I suppose it's odd to want to know about things I've been around for... not your life of course, the politics part... " She said.

He shrugged. "There weren't a lot of problems in the years I was alive. Politics weren't overwhelmingly important. Our family came from a well respected line and we had a good stand in our place. We weren't looking to go any higher at that time, and we didn't interfere in other's issues. Let sleeping dogs lie and fighting dogs fight each other while you keep all of your fingers." he said, and laughed. "My father used to say that when I was growing up..." he smiled a bit wider.

Sozinta nodded, "Well then, that shoots my next question down... I tell you why I'm questioning you if you want, how ever, I'd prefer not to. Long story, long drive... it gets kinda boring after a while... " She said.

He shrugged. "Whatever you preffer."

"Then, I return to silence. " Sozinta said, continuing to drive quietly.

He sat in silence as well, staring out the window, remembering what this place USED to look like...

Sozinta drove into the parking lot of the swimming pool, getting out and grabbing her bag with a smile. "Last one in the pool's a rotten egg!" She said.

"Hey!" he laughed, but had to change into his swim trunks. He understood the concept of the locker room, at least. He got changed just right there in the mens locker room. He ignored everyone else, and headed back out.

Sozinta, having already changed and set her bag somewhere, bound towards the pool. With a laugh, she plugged her nose and cannon balled into the water.

Levana leapt and dove seamlessly into the deep end, coming up and shaking the water out of his face, grinning.

Sozinta came up a second later smiling widely, "It's been far too long since I've been swimming!" She said.

Levana laughed. "since youve been swimming? Ive been a tree for a thousand years!"
