"Daddy?" Nightstar repeated, looking worried.
"how are you feeling?" Abra said, softly.

He had been awake enought o understand, but his hearing was a little funny.
'..like my body isn't ready to wake up..'

"are you in any pain?" Abra asked.
"you ok now, Daddy?" Nightstar asked, still worried.

'Yeah..' He said and smiled lightly to Nightstar.

Nightstar cracked a smile, and then nuzzled him. Abra watched, cracking a small smile.

Nightfire storked her head and smile.d He thought before looking to Abra.
'..Starfire...is she still trapped..?'

Abra gave a slight nod.
"yes, she is." she said.
"i miss Mommy..." Nightstar added, sadly.

'We'll gett her back eventuaghtly.. I promise..' Nightfire said to nightstar.

"where is she?" Nightstar asked.

'I don't know...' Nightfire thought. 'What if Zenith is right and he honestly doesn't know?' Nightfire asked Abra.

"then that would be a first." she said.
"do you know where Mommy is?" Nightstar asked her.
"no, i don't." she shoke her head.

'...maybe we should find gabriella... but chances she'll tell are almost non-existant..'

"well, we have to try something." Abra said.
"yeah, we have to find Mommy.." Nightstar said.

Nightfire thought for a minute.

"any ideas?" Abra asked.

'No..'

"couldn't we just start searching?" Nightstar asked.
"but where would we look? it would take quite a while to find her if we just randomly searched." Abra said.

'Exactly... We should find Gabbriella and see if she really has hid them..'

"but where is she? how could we find her?" Abra asked.
"couldn't we just start looking?" Nightstar suggested.

'We could, but she could havee gone anywhere..> Really we need to see if anyone has seen her.'

"like who? do we ask random people?" Nightstar asked.
"that could still take a while." Abra pointed out.

'Odds are someone has seen her, I can't remember her powers but I'm sure she wouldn't have vanished into thin air.'

"no, not unless she can teleport or something." Abra said.
"so we should be able to find her, right?" Nightstar asked.

'Yeah.' Nightfire slowly tried to lift his body to stand, but had to use other objects to help him stand up.

"but you're still weak. maybe we should wait." Abra said, concerned.
"but what about Mommy?" Nightstar asked.

'It's better to look now than later..'

"i suppose you're right." Abra said.
"then lets go find Mommy." Nightstar said.

he slowly walked outside and looked about, wodnering where to start.

Abra and Nightstar followed him.
"maybe we could ask some animals that live in the forrest if they've seen her." Nightstar suggested.

'Unless someone has the power to, we can't do that I'm afriad.'

"why not? why not just walk up to an animal and talk to them?" Nightstar asked.
"because animals can't speak. they have thier own language, but they can't speak ours." Abra said.

'Exactly.' Nightfire said and thought.

"well, why can't we try? they should at least be able to understand us, right?" Nightstar asked.
"maybe, but it doesn't mean we could communicate well with them." Abra said.
"but we could ask them, like, yes or no questions, which they could answer with a nod of thier heads."

'It's not just them talking to us, they have to understand us... most animals wouldn't.'

"and why can't we just find one that would?" Nightstar asked.
"well, that can be a difficult task." Abra said.

'could take ages..'

"oh..." Nightstar sighed. "well, then, what do we do?"
"we look around for someone who might have seen Gabriella."
"but what if there isn't anyone?"

'Then we're out of luck. It's not like we can ask Zenith to find her.'

"no, that wouldn't work out at all." Abra sighed.
"but there has to be someone we can ask." Nightstar said.

Nightfire looked about and thought.

Abra looked around for someone. Nightstar looked also. she then saw a squirrel sitting in a tree. she cracked a smile.
"he's so cute." she said.
"huh? who is?" Abra asked, looking at her.
"that squirrel. the way he sits up and stuffs acrons into his pouch is so cute." Nightstar smiled. Abra looked at saw the squirrel.

Nightfire looked at the two.

"he is cute, but watching a squirrel won't help us." Abra said. Nightstar sighed.
"i know...."

Nightfire thought before walking over to someone nearby.
'Excuse me, I'm trying to find a black adult female, have you seen anyone like that nearby?'

the girls looked over, seeing him talk to someone. Nightstar walked over, looking at them, and waiting for a response. Abra walked over beside her.

They looked before thinking.
'Black? Urh no... Altough if it's any help, I did see a deep dark blue adult not long ago...'
'And which way was that?'
' 'bout a few miles that way.' THey said and pointed.

"okay then, lets go." Nightstar said, about to rush off. Abra grabbed her, and held her still.
"woah. hold it right there. don't you go running off again." she said.

'Was she with anyone?'
'No last I checked, I might be wrong but she didn't look like she was in a good mood either.'

"hmm, wonder why she wasn't in a good mood....." Abra muttered.
"maybe she feels guilty about something..." Nightstar suggested, almost with a mean look.

''Hmm, thanks anyway.' Nightfire began walking awayfrom them. 'Maybe she is guilty, maybe not, you never know with her type.'
