Starfire layed down in her room.

Nightfire walked back over to Starfire's room.
'Star..?'

Star looked towards the door.
"what......?"

'Can i help you...in any way?'

"my mom just sacrificed herself for me......again.........theres not much you can do.......i'm the last of my family now......."

Nightfire sighed.
'I know.....and i know it's hard for you.....if there's anything you want, just le me know.....'

"i'm fine......i'm not as emotional as i was the first time it happened.....and if i was gonna die again, she'd probally bring herself back to life somehow, and sacrifice herself again.....thats just what she dose....."

'Just let me know if you need anything....' He said as he walked away. He walked into his room and layed down. The mark on his paw glowed again, shortly fading away.

Star looked out her window. she looked up at the sky.
"why can't everyone just leave me alone, and let e take care of myself...." she said to herself.

Nightfire laid his head down after seeing the mark fade.

Star looked down.
"i'll never be as strong as the other empaths in the family, if no one ever lets me take care of myself......everyone can't keep sacrrificeing themselves to save me.....i need to take care of myself....."

Nightfire soon fell asleep. He began having a nightmare.

Star walked out of her room. she left the cave, and went out for a walk.

Nightfire continued dreaming, his mark began glowing again.

Star went for a walk in the nearby forrest.

'no...no! I......I'll live..........' He began mumbling.

Star walked in the forrest. then she thought she heard something.
"hey Star!" said Soren from behind her. she looked at him.
"hey Soren.....i'm not in the best of moods right now..."
"why not?"
"......my mom died....."
"oh.....i'm sorry......"
"thanks........but i'm fine......." she said. then she walked away. Soren then hopped along behind her.

Nightfire soon woke up.

Star walked around. Soren followed her.

Nightfire walked out his room. He looked out the front.

Star reached the river, and sat down near it. Soren hopped up beside her, and stopped.
"you ok?" he asked.
"my mom just died....how do you think i feel?"
"oh......well, you can't just sit around and mope about it....you gotta live and let die....there has to be a reason your still alive....just live life to the fullest..."

'She needs to live, Soren.' Nightfire said, walking up behind the two. He looked scared.

Soren looked at him.
"i'm just trying to make her feel better...." he said. Star looked at Nightfire.
"whats wrong? you looked scared...."

'It's.....nothing'

"its not nothing if its bothering you....wats wrong?" she asked. Soren stayed quiet.

Nightfire sighed as he looked down.
'I meant to tell you before.....but didnt know when to say.' He said lifting his head. 'When i said we had a week to find out this cure.......i only said that.......because i only have a week left...'

Star looked worried. Soren looked up at him.
"but you can fix it, right?" he asked.

'My life as we know it is coming to an end, we know the day, but dont know the time, place, or way......... And it's Zenith's doing...... It's why my blood is more black than red.......'

Soren looked sad.
"i don't want you to die...." he said. Star looked down.

'I dont want to either...... But at this minute, there's no way of stopping me........ I have a week left to enjoy life......'

"then live life to the fullest!" he hooted. Star still looked down.

Nightfire walked over to Star.
'But i cant without you....Star'

Star looked at him sadly. Soren hopped over to them.
"any ideas for living life?"

'Not exactly.......'

"oh.....well....is there anything you've alwasy wanted to do?" he asked. Star looked at Soren.
"well......my mom........always wanted me to have kids........but i'm too young....."

'One of the problems........Because, she is the last remaining empath, and if she dies, so do the empaths.'

Soren jumped up.
"thats not good! she needs to have kids!"
"but i'm too young now.......and nightfire is gonna die in a week......"

'All thanks to Zenith........'

*Frostbolt fell asleep crying next to Fireflight's body*

Star looked back down. Soren was curious.
"whos Zenith?"

'An old enemy, or a psycho who wants me, Starfire and others dead'

Frostbolt continued to cry in his sleep*

"then hes evil, and we should kill him!" he said bravely. Star looked at him.
"you wouldn't last one minture with him, Soren.....your a young owl....with the element of wind.....there isn't much you could do....besides...it still wouldn't help us..."

'And besides which, Frostbolt killed him.'

"oh......well, i didn't know........but still.....you two need to live your lives....what do you guys plan on doing?" he asked curiously. Star looked back down.

*frostbolt began to have a Nighmare*

'Thats the thing.........'

"you don't know, do you?" he asked. Star layed down.

'No, there's stuff i want to do, but i dont know what to do.'

*Frostbolt nightmare got worse and he woke up and started crying again*
