Even with Skylanders MIB, see how long the glue lasts on basically everything after SSA - the plastic bubbles can come off the cardboard backing so easily.

just glue them back together then and they will be as fine as they was new.

Aha! That is what I will do but officially they are not truly as good as new and no longer truly mint.

your the only one that will think that, others will see it as good as mint.. if not your terrible at gluing that is.

My point is that it is legally/morally no longer MIB and also has undergone more change than some minor bending of cardboard, which is where this element of the conversation originated from. I am demonstrating how arbitrary and judgemental some perspectives can be.

I agree with chaosworrier. Although, I admit I did have to do this with at least one of my SSAs (Boomer)

Strangely enough, my Dev Fire Kraken's box has held up better than any of my SA boxes, and it's in better shape a than they were a year after buying it. It might be my imagination, but the packaging on him feels a bit thicker. It could just be because he's shut tight in a shipping box, whereas all my sealed SA figures are on a shelf.

Nope, look at the top of the box it's wrecked, big fold through almost the entire thing. That is no good as a CIB figure with hat kind of damage.

Also hexagonal drilling bits are used on metal...not plastic. It gets to hot, it would warp the plastic if not burn or set it on fire. lol
Im sure he used a waterjet to make those holders...and they do look cool by the way.

If you're going to tell me to shut up please try to use spell check and at the very least some proper punctuation. If you take care of your collectibles you won't have any problems with the cardboard breaking down (at least not in our lifetime). Collecting damaged items to keep in the box is just silly IMO.

but the glue is horrible on these things. it dont matter if you take good care of it, just moving them from shelves to shelves can rip that paperback of in seconds on some of these. i have seen it with my own eyes in a shop when an employ moved them from boxes to shelves..

That's why when you buy your Skylanders from the store you make sure the packaging is in good shape and there is sufficient glue holding the bubble on. I have 300+ packaged Skylanders and have never had a single issue with even a small part of the bubble separating from the cardboard.

I think you got lucky as it is one that I will need to glue as the bubble is completely off the backing. I know several others like this, as well.

Try a suddent shift in temperature - I have gotten a few shipped to me recently where I trust the seller and they were intact when they were packaged but the bubble no longer attached when they reached me. And, yes, a bucket load of packaging/bubble wrap.

EDIT: And I doubt that there is any person not working for Activision that has the ability to see all of their variants in the "flesh" before getting them; let alone the privilege of picking or choosing which one looks like it has better glue.

That's why you buy the ones with the most pictures and ask questions before making the purchase, sometimes you may have to pay more but if you care about condition it's a small price to pay.

I bought all the wave 3 traps, Blastermind, Ka-Boom, Tuff Luck, Cobra Cadabra and Trail Blazer, thumpling/gill mini, weruptor/fryno mins this evening. I will post pictures tomorrow morning as i cant get them in with the kid up and i had to run to work for an overnight shift. I am guessing Cobra Cadabra and Trail Blazer are in a box by themselves or with a few others (i did see alot of pop fizz but idk if thats related)

Oh and I found a Kaos trap! Going see if my son's friend has one yet as he's birthday party is sunday.

I was able to score all 8 of the Wave 3 traps, Trail Blazer, Cobra Cadabra, Tuff Luck, Blastermind, & Ka-Boom tonight between two Targets. So happy not to have to worry about these at TRU this weekend.

Kaos trap and Blastermind from Target. The wave 3 trap masters(about 4 pcs each) were on a end cap in the back of the store a few aisles away from skylander section. If my son hadn't wandered off I would have missed completely. Kaos traps about 6 total were out in plain sight.....

Not really. Store Exclusives are not bound to the same time frames as the regular releases.

I just got everything to finish wave3, except Tuff luck (and the traps that have the same number of traps as villains). I live in LV, Nevada, it was at target.

Found only 4 figures of wave 3 at my Target tonight, but I only bought Tuff Luck as I tend to only want the lady Skylanders and stuff to unlock content. I didn't really want the Cobra Cadabra nor Trail Blazer (they had two of him).

So right now I only need a Bat Spin, a Kaos Trap, Ka-Boom (I hated like the looks of the other fire Trap Master, so I held out for a Ka-Boom), Blastermind and the Light/Dark packs right now. I'll probably end up getting an Enigma next year as he's really cool looking and that'll be it for me with Trap Teams. Ultimately I think I will spend about $600 total on Trap Teams and that's more than enough. The rest I can get whenever years from now used for like a buck or so a piece when everyone is sick to death of these things. No rush!

This is a great idea actually, get the new ones in a few years, might try that and I didn't get many from swap force either so i can maybe get some of those too.

Anyhow really hoping to get Bat Spin and trail blazer mostly, but any others could be good. Can't wait til christmas, hopefully my parents got me a few figures I like for trap team. I should get serious about collecting skylanders again, haven't done so since spyro's adventure, after that i only got a few throughout the year, although i got a decent amount of skylanders from giants.

I got a Kaos trap today at Target!!! There were only two of them. I also saw a few wave 3 traps.

Got the dark and light element expansions tonight at TRU.

Just got back from TRU with dark/light packs, kaboom, tuff luck, blastermind, trail blazer and cobra cadabra, too lazy to take pics and just want to rip them all open.

Didn't get the whole Wave 3, but I got what I wanted the most:
Blastermind & both Light/Dark Expansion sets. I figured that's what majority of the players want to finish the game. Didn't have enough $$$ to buy the whole wave.
