Migx, Vern and his friends followed the others out of the building. "But where do you suppose we go about finding Tika?" Vern asked aloud. "Isn't there a secret base or something?"

"We go? Platinum and the others are handling that. For now, we must protect Crystal.", Conner responded to Vern. He looked at her. She must be so tired. *And so am I*, Conner thought. Was he in any condition to protect the Eevee?

"Oh no problem, I can do that," Migx said. Vern shook his head. "WE can do that. Right guys?" Vern looked at Edgar and Bentley. "Uhhhh...""Sure," Edgar and Bentley said in that order.

"I appreciate the concern," said Crystal, "but i'm..." suddenly, Crystal's eyes shot closed and she passed out.

Meanwhile, Soul and Heart ran into the direction Tika was taken, only to find a horrifying sight: Tika was tied up, hanging over a large horde of Pokemies.

"We gotta save her, fast!" Soul said. "But how do we get past them? We only have so much of the cure with us!"

Heart suddenly had an idea. He had no idea if it could work. But just maybe... "Soul, give me your spray. When i shout, Run and untie Tika as quickly as you can." Heart ran over to a group of stacked vehicles. "NOW!!!" Heart began to stomp around on the cars, making as much noise as possible. sure enough, the Pokemies moved in his direction.

"Stay safe, Heart!" Soul shouted over the crowd of Pokemies. He started to run over to Tika.

Suddenly, Conner had a strange foreboding. *Something is wrong...*, Conner thought. He used Detect, and discovered there was a huge Pokemie hoard. "Historius, do you have any more of those experimental balls?", Conner asked. Historius came out of the pack, then answered, "I have only one more. What do you plan on using it for?". "I feel as if there is a Pokemie hoard remaining in the city. I have to help Heart and Soul!", Conner exclaimed. He struggled to get up, but he fell back down. He was still too tired from his sprint and his experience in the city. Historius shook his head, and told Conner, "You are far too tired Conner. You must rest. Let us just hope right now that Heart and Soul can do a good job for Tika.". "I agree with you Historius. Let me just rest... here for... for awhile...", Conner said before he fell asleep. *He needs it as much as Crystal does.*, Historius thought. Then, he saw three Pokemies come forward, looking ready for a fight. "Oh dear...", Historius stammered.

"Crystal!" Vern cried as she rushed over to Crystal in order to help her. "Why is she out right now? What's going on? I want to help her, but... I'm not sure how."

Pete stayed behind Cameron as they ventured deeper into the nest. Suddenly, Pete heard pokemies growling and snapping. "Let's go!" Cameron said, beginning to run towards the noise. "It could be our friends!" Emily nodded and followed him. Pete, however, was immobilized. "Shouldn't we run away from pokemie noises, not towards them!?" He called. "Pete!" Emily snapped. "Come on!" Pete let out a sigh and ran after them as fast as he could.

Soul managed to finally get Tika down, but she was barely conscious. "Heart, I got her! let's get out of here!"

Heart was still fending off the Pokemies, and before long, he finally tried out his plan. "I hope this works!" Heart threw the cures into the air, jumped into the sky, and Hydro-Pumped The ground, right where the cures were. Water splashed everywhere over the Pokemies.

Soul just stared. "Heart, what did you even do?"

Heart ran over. "I thought that if I mixed the cure with water, the water itself could act as a cure and splash over the whole horde.

Soul, still holding Tika, showed a puzzled look. "Well did it work?"

OOC: @zookinator- I want to make sure of this real quick, since this is your character's cure; CAN this work?

OoC: @pankakesparx: I would say yes, because in technical terms, the minerals and vitamins necessary for the cure to work are spread throughout the water, coating the cells in the elixir, and once the Pokemies drink it, which I would be pretty sure they have if it was a deluge, would cure them. I'll allow it.

Conner was still unconscious from his constant work and stress. And a group of Pokemies were quickly advancing. Historius, Migx, and Vern were the only ones to protect Crystal and Conner. Historius thought about this. He had some spray left... he had better use it. Historius quickly dragged out his spray, and sprayed each of the Pokemies. They reverted back to their original states, and were unconscious. Historius tired from the hype, quickly said in a whisper to Vern, "Please protect them while I sleep...". He then fell asleep.

OOC: okay, thanks.

The Pokemies started to slowly convert back to their original states.

"Wow," said Heart, "I can't believe that worked!"

"Alright, let's get out of here!" Soul said, carrying Tika.

Migx paused and nodded. "Yes, Conner," he said as he walked over to the unconscious ones and stood guard. "I will protect them with my life." Vern stood up and smiled. "And so will I." Migx and Vern both gave each other a handshake to show they were in it together.

Emily charged ahead of the others, checking for pokemies along the way. She slid into a room full of unconscious pokemies, and tripped over a small rock, landing flat on her stomach. She grunted in pain, got up, and stood face to face with Migx. She jumped back, startled, and looked around. "You're all okay!" She said, looking at each of her friends in turn.

Their treks were long and exhausting for the most part, but Lunette had always suggested it was good for the health and to build up stamina if ever something were to happen. They could then wait, or outrun something they were confronted with by it alone.

"Where are we headed," the hushed voice of Dew uttered.

It was a moment of peaceful silence before the older replied with uncertainess, "sometimes....you just have to follow your senses, in hoping so it will lead you the way."

A sigh comes from Dew, "that isn't something you should rely on Lune...."

There wasn't another reply to her reply to him, just utter silence.
The sense that something critical was happening in the pokemon world though, he was very sure about.

They both continued on their way.

OOC: Sorry for the late reply. I recently started my Spring semester classes in college, and I have been busy getting settled.

Also may I ask where everyone else is in this rp? So that I may attempt to meet them with my characters?

OOC: @Crystal- i guess all the characters are at the outskirts of Apple City, which is nearby New Angeles.

Soul and Heart made it to the entrance of Apple City where they noticed Ren and Poltergeist in the distance.

"Oh great, what do you guys want?" said Soul. "We followed your terms, now let us go!"

"Oh yeah, about that,,." Ren pulled out the detonator. "We changed our minds. none of you are leaving alive."

Without hesitation, Soul threw Tika in Heart's arms and Volt Tackled both Ren and Poltergeist.

"I have had enough of you two!" he shouted. "If anyone is getting blown up it's gonna be you clowns!"

Ren and Poltergeist laughed manaically. "Bring it on!" they shouted.

Pete and Cameron finally caught up to Emily, panting and out of breath. "What were you thinking!?" Pete hissed. "You could've..." He stopped when he saw their friends in front of them. "Oh." He said. "Never mind."

Conner, having sufficiently recovered, suddenly awoke. He awoke with a gasp, then said, "What.. where am I... oh... right...". He looked around, then he saw Pete, Cameron, and Emily. "Pete! Cameron! Emily! It is good to see you. Where've you been?", Conner asked. Historius then woke. He saw that the Pokemies were handled with, then announced, after he saw the arrivals, "It is good to see you Emily, Cameron, and Pete. Now, if you excuse me, I need a comfier spot to nap.". He then flapped back inside Conner's pack, dreaming once more.

Migx looked at Crystal, and immediately looked at Vern to wonder what to do. "Should we carry Crystal somewhere?" Vern shook his head. "We should just protect her. That was our only order." Migx looked over at Edgar and Bently, hoping they could help. "And those two?" Vern looked over at them. They both walked over. ...Well, Edgar did. Bently floated or slid or whatever Voltorbs do. "We can both help," said Edgar. "Yeah. Any friends of Verns is a friend of ours," Bently responded.

"Conner!" Emily said. "Historious! It's so good to see you both." Pete went up and took Calia's bag from Emily, pulling out the cure. "We were distributing this." He said. "We went out to Fourteen to give it to the pokemies in that area, and we were doing well, but we strayed too close to the bandit camp, and they surrounded us." Cameron nodded. "They wanted Calia's bag because they figured out we were hiding something, and that it was important." He said. "Calia created a diversion to help us escape, but she wasn't quick enough to get herself away in time before the bandits caught up." Pete turned his head away in sadness and shame. "It wasn't your fault, Pete." Cameron said, putting a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure Calia will be fine, but in any case, the bandits know we have something, and they're going to try and get it out of her." Emily took all of the remaining cure that they had out of the bag and offered it to Conner. "Here." She said. "You probably know how to use this better than we do, anyway."


Meanwhile, Cameron's prediction had been right. The bandits were trying to get information out of Calia, but no matter what they did, she wouldn't budge. Whether it was being blasted by a flamethrower from a Charizard, or being thrown forcefully against the wall by a machamp, it didn't matter, and the bandits were getting desperate. They had finally set a plan in motion, and now they just had to hope it worked.

Conner took the elixir from Emily. "Thank you for this. We might need it later on.", Conner replied. He then remembered that he used Detect, and there was a huge Pokemie hoard. He used it again. There weren't Pokemies, but there was 5 Pokémon, 2 in the air, 3 on the ground. *The 2 in the air must be Ren and Poltergeist. The other 3 must be Tika, Soul and Heart. Poltergeist appeared to be holding something in his hand.*, Conner thought. He then had realization. "Oh no... those vile Outlaws! I need to get back to Heart, Soul and Tika. I don't care what Platinum said, the three are going to be killed unless I do something! Pete, Cameron, Emily. Please protect Crystal while I go to help. She is unconscious from the beating she had from Apple City. I will go and help Heart and the others.", Conner quickly exclaimed to the group. He then ran off towards the city. The sleep he received done him good. *I just hope I am not too late...*, Conner thought.

Pete nodded and led Cameron and Emily over to Crystal. "Stay here and protect her!" He called, running after Conner. Emily opened her mouth to protest, but Pete was already gone. Cameron put a hand on her shoulder and and murmured, "Do what he says." Emily nodded reluctantly, but stayed put.

Calia was lying in her cell next to the bars of Sapphire's cage. "What more do they have planned, Sapphire?" She asked worriedly. "I may never see my friends again unless I get out." Sapphire nodded and sat down, leaning back against the wall. "They've got something diabolical planned for you, that much I know for sure." Sapphire said. "But I don't know what they're going to do, or how they're going to do it." Calia sighed and stated simply, "Then I guess I'll have to beat them at their own game."

Soul fought off Ren and Poltergeist with all his might, throwing Volt Tackles and Iron Tails with all his might. Ren spammed shadow balls while Ren flew into the sky and began to use brave bird. and he flew right in Heart's direction.

"Heart, look out!" he shouted.

Just as Heart was about to charge a hydro pump, Soul noticed an electric burst come from their area, with a cloud of smoke covering Heart and Ren. when the smoke lifted, Tika was standing, Ren knocked out at the side.

"I am SO tired of getting kidnapped by these jokes!" she shouted. she launched a thunderbolt at Poltergeist, and got knocked out.

Soul and Heart looked in disbelief. "Man, you sure know how to take a hit from those guys if you're still this strong," Heart said.

"Yeah, mainly because of this:" Tika pulled out a sitrus berry, with a few bites taken out of it. "I managed to hide this when the Outlaws stole my supplies. These are some of the rarest and most powerful berries out there, i couldn't let them get their hands on it. Fortunately, it made me sleepy for a while, which was why i was unconsious." Tika suddenly exchanged looks. "Oh my gosh! Where's Crystal?"

"She's fine," said Soul. "The others got her out in time. But we need to head back now, before Blackfire gets here and blows the place up!"

"I wouldn't count on that," said Tika, and she pulled the detonator from her bag.

Soul and Heart gasped. "How did you-"

"I grabbed it from him when i used that thunderbolt on him. I heard him mention it as
I was waking up earlier." Tika then broke the detonator in half.

"Well, that's certainly convenient." said Heart. "Let's go!"

The three ran from the city, but just as they were running, Blackfire was flying away, carrying Poltergeist and Ren.

"You two are useless!" he said. And he flew away from sight.

Conner ran over to the city, until he ran into Soul, Heart, and Tika. "Tika! Heart! Soul! Thank goodness you are safe! What happened to that horrid ghost and the other?", Conner asked excitedly. He then noticed the detonator in Tika's hands. Historius popped out of the pack, then said, "I was thinking aout using that detonator to out advantage. Wouldn't the blast from the city exploding kill the Outlaws as well? They might've not thought it through so well. Maybe we could blow up the city when they are least expecting it?", Historius asked.

Tika pulled out the other half of the broken detonator. "Can't. I destroyed the detonator. Besides, the Outlaws were flying away. Even if the detonator was still in one piece they still would've gotten away before we were at a safe distance. Plus, we can use the cure to eventually heal all the Pokemies in there instead of blow them sky high."

"Which reminds me," said Heart, "Historius, were you aware that the cure can mix with water?"

"And where's Crystal? Is she safe?" Soul asked frantically.

Historius was sad that he couldn't destroy the Outlaws, but he decided it was better not to for now. He answered Heart's question, saying, "I was not aware of that fact. Though I guess it would make making the cure a little easier now.". Conner then answered Soul's question, responding, "Crystal is fine. She is just unconscious from he time in the city. Pete, Cameron, and Emily are protecting her. They found us again, luckily. I can go ahead and return to here, if you wish.".

While the group sighed in relief at Crystal's safety, Heart's eyes brightened. "Do you know what this means? If the cure can mix with water, we can make rebuilding the world so much faster!"

Pete caught up to Conner, but soon realized his help hadn't been needed here. Soul, Heart and Tika were standing next to Conner, and Pete was happy to see them as well. "I'm so glad we finally found you guys!" He exclaimed. "For a while there, I honestly didn't think we would."

Conner smiled at the prospect of finally knowing the world was going to get better. He remembered from the moment he was about to test the elixir for the first time. Would the world ever return back to how it was? He didn't think so. But he knew it was going to get much better. When Pete came up, Conner said, "Pete! I thought I told you to guard Crystal! Are Cameron and Emily still with her?".

"You didn't honestly think I'd leave her alone, did you?!" Pete exclaimed with disbelief. "Emily and Cameron are with her, and they'll get her out of there at the first sign of danger." He reassured. "I came along to see if you guys needed my help."

"Well, they managed to handle everything. Right now, I want to see how Crystal is doing. I will see you later.", Conner declared. He then ran off towards Crystal's location.

OOC: What the heck just happened?

OoC: Essentially, There was a fight with some Pokemies at Crystal's location, which is yours currently. Afterward, after my characters encountered amazingSpyro's characters, they awoke, and headed to help pankakesparx's other characters. They didn't need help, and we found out the cure can be made more quickly by mixing it in with water. Afterward, Conner is now heading back towards Crystal and your charcters.

OOC: I think it'd help more with shorter posts. I'm having a hard time staying interested with all the long posts. I'm normally into RPs where the posts are fairly sized, but not page length. Did any of the Pokemies attack Migx and Vern?

OoC: No, I don't think so. Historius (My character) stopped them before any harm happened. And, I'm sorry with the detailed posts. It's a habit. Usually, the more detailed the post, the better it tends to be, in terms of RPs.

OOC: I see.

Soul, Heart, and Tika also ran off towards Crystal. Heart looked over to Pete. "So where did you guys go?"

"We went to distribute the cure," Pete said, "but there were... complications. And what's really bad is, the bandits might know about it. Calia told me to come find you, probably to warn you."

"Ugh, pretty soon I'm gonna pass out from all this going on." Soul said jokingly.

Heart looked around. "Wait, where is Calia?"

"None of us saw her," Migx mentioned. "Uhhh... Who is she again?"

Pete looked to the ground, his eyes filled with shame and regret. "Calia was captured by the bandits while helping us to escape." He said. "She's probably in one of their dungeons. When she made me leave, she wasn't in good shape. They're probably trying to get info out of her."

The older of the two continued to lead with the confidence that he knew that where they were going would bring them someplace safe, but Dew, the younger knew him better than anyone else. In truth he was unsure, very doubtful at the moment, lost.
As she walked behind, her eyes intensely rested on his taller figure before her. Easily, she recognized his tense body, stiff as he walked, as if ready to sprint away or attack whatever came before them. The short dark fur on his neck was nearly standing straight up. Her mouth opened to speak once about it, but thought better and closed quickly, and remaining quiet. Opting that the best option was just to keep a lookout and follow.

It had only been a few hours into their travel when something seemed amiss. Lunette had without warning stopped in his pawsteps, his body as stiff as ever since they first stepped out of the haven.

Dew, having not paying attention anymore to where she was going, ran straight into his backside, making her fall back slightly. She caught herself quickly, her face beginning to express a pout, but it quickly changed when she noticed her brother’s ears twitching to and fro. He was listening to something, or even worst, she gulped, heard something nearby. A moment passes before she slowly stood back up, lifting her own ears up to listen as well.
She didn’t get the chance, her brother without a word suddenly shoved her aside as a Growlithe pokemie in turn slammed into Lunettes side with a sickening growl, and swiftly getting it’s jaws firmly around one of his back legs.

The young Eevees eyes go round with fright.....and her brothers own horrified expression did not help her own as he was able to get the sick pokemon to release with a quick shadow ball.

“By my side, now,” Lunette howls out.

“Right,” and without hesitation she is by her brother’s side as he constructs a protection shield around them.
At this the sick Growlithe goes nuts, slashing its claws at the shield, and baring its sharp fangs in the process.

“Dew… that thing bit me. I don’t know if it’s able to pass the sickness on by a bite. If I start to act strangely…I want you to run.” His eyes are narrowed down at Dew, not expecting her to answer, but to obey his command.

Dew was only but a child, and couldn’t help but feel her throat constrict as tears begin to well in her eyes as one paw rests on her brothers to give him a ‘helping hand.’
Someone had to be nearby….someone had to be. They aren’t the only normal ones. Someone can help maybe. Maybe…..please just maybe.

With a deep intake of breath, she lets out a long scream, in hoping someone would hear.

OOC: Sorry that it's a bit long. ''

OOC: Crystal, are your characters anywhere near ours?
And where is everybody? No one's posted for a while.

OOC: I had my characters travel in the direction of the outskirts of the apple city, which I was told where everyone else's characters currently were.

Not sure, I was afraid that my last post kind of killed the rp. >.<

OoC: I wouldn't say your post killed the RP. The RP is dying as we speak. The story is up, and now all we really need is a conclusion. But, it is up to pankakesparx, the GM, not me.

Soul, Tika, and Heart sighed. "I'm sorry to hear that." Heart said to Pete. We'll find a way to save them.

Finally, the group reached and unconscious Crystal. Soul quickly grasped her. "Crystal!" he looked at all the Pokémon. "Is she okay? What happened?"

OOC: PLEASE READ!!!

I really apologize guys. I'm happy that all of you still try to stay with this RP despite my inactivity, but I won't lie- I've been away for so long mainly because of my school work and other personal things that have come up, but I'm ashamed to say I've also been lazy. Even worse, I'm going somewhere this coming weekend where I won't be able to go online at all. Again, I truly apologize that I keep being inactive whenever something is going on. I've been a pretty lousy GM lately. like I said in a previous post, I might end up needing some help.

With that said... Would anyone like to be a co-GM? With my inactivity, I think it's best I have someone help me run the RP and keep it going when I'm not here. I've done it enough times and I don't want to halt the RP again because of it. The only requirements for being a co-GM is that you have already created an RP before and ran one, so that they have some experience running an RP, but I don't think that will be a problem. Most ifnot everyone here has done that at least once. For now, I AM ONLY HIRING ONE CO-GM. This is the first time I'm doing this and I don't want to overdo it and destroy the RP.

These are the rights you have as a co-GM of this RP:
-the co-GM may find ways to continue the RP without me, but only if needed.
-the co-GM may go to the next in-RP day without me, if needed.
-the co-GM has the right to accept new users to the RP, ONLY if their sheet follows the rules of the RP.

The co-GM however has NO RIGHT to:
-Remove users from the RP.
-Add and/or remove rules to the RP.
-control other people's characters.
Basically, you still have to abide by all the other rules of the RP.

The main reason I'm doing this is so we aren't so stuck when I'm not around. This way, the RP has a little more control and can still live.

these are my current guidelines to what a co-GM must be. if you have any questions, want to add comments, or want to suggest any other guidelines that I should put up(I cannot stress enough how important this is. if you have ANY suggestions on what I should add or remove from the guidelines of being co-GM, PLEASE TELL ME!), post here on the RP or send me a PM message. The new co-GM will be announced as soon as i pick one. I'm not sure when I will announce it yet, but I currently plan on announcing one before the month is over...hopefully.

OOC: I personally think that the co-GM should be the one who comes on and checks the RP most. I don't know when you guys are on, but I'm never on on Mondays. I doubt I'd be the best choice anyway. I'll be happy with whoever's chosen.

"All of these pokemies were knocked out when we got here." Emily explained. "I can't say what happened. And yes, she'll be fine, as far as we can tell."

OoC: Sorry to hear that you have to leave this weekend. As you know, I have created the RP, Pokémon: A World Without Legends. The link to it is in my signature. It might not have so much traffic here, but it is thriving on Bulbagarden.net. I think I could make a nice co-GM, as I do check the site and Role Play sections everyday. There is my opinion about the new issue.

Conner made it surprisingly after everyone else. He guessed it was from his need of rest. "She is just unconscious from her time in Apple City. And the Pokémon that are knocked out were here because of Historius. He used the Elixir to help the Pokémon who were zombified.", Conner explained. He then had a thought. He needed to get back to Everest to repair the damages to his home. But he didn't want to leave his friends, so he stay put.

OOC: thanks guys. seeing as no one has asked to be co-GM yet, I may make you the co-GM, zook. i'll PM you when I make my final decision. I want to see if anyone else is interested first.

Soul sighed a sigh of relief. "Okay, great." Soul took out his bag. "Tika, help me out with this."

Tika ran over to Soul's side. Soul took out a few oran berries. "Tika, smash these up so Crystal can drink them." Soul then took out a rag, wetted it with a bottle of water, and began tapping her head. Tika grabbed a bowl from Soul's pack, as well as a mortar, and began smashing the berries.

Heart looked around. "Alright. We saved Crystal. And it's getting late." Heart turned to Pete, "So, I guess next we'll help-"

Suddenly, Heart heard a scream. "What was that?"
