Brutus decided to play his flute. Perhaps it would relax him. He plyed it softly, as not to disturb anyone else's slumber.

"I guess I am sort of tire-"Shadow fell asleep before he could finish.

Dark smiled and lifted Shadow. He took him to a empty bedroom and set him on one of the beds.

After a couple hours of sleep Shadow awoke.

Dark headed down the halls and leaned against the door frame of Brutus' room. He was in the darkness, so you couldn't tell it was him.
"Nice music." he said.

Shadow once again looked at the picture then quickly looked away.

Inazuma worked away on the computer, typing quite loudly.

Feather sighed and walked into Inazuma's room.
"Brother, go to bed." she said.

Inazuma sighed and stood, turning off the computer.

Twilight shifted in her sleep.

"AH!I can't take it"Shadow got up and smashed the picture.

Kenshi dropped his sword in surprise at the sound of a yell and smashing glass. Picking up the sword slowly, he walked down the hall to where Shadow's room was.

"Why, thank you." Brutus said, noticing a figure in his doorframe. "I assume that is you, Dark?"

Shadow went to get something to collect the glass when he bumped into Kenshi.

Dark broke off from the shadows with a smile.
"Yep." he said.

Kenshi yelped in surprise and dropped his sword again. It made a muffled clanking sound on the ground.

Shadow picked the sword up and gave it to Kenshi "Got a nice sword"Shadow said

Kenshi took it carefully from Shadow.
"Thanks. Have I seen you before? You don't look familiar." he said.

"No. I haven't seen you either"Shadow said.

"I'm Kenshi. I was the one who started this whole team of Nightfangs." said Kenshi. "who are you?"

"Is it always this hard to sleep here?" Brutus asked Dark.

"Yeah. I never get any rest around here. Between Kenshi's sword training, and Feather's younger brother Inazuma typing and working away on his technology, I'm surprised anybody can sleep." he said.

"Shadow, a new person around here"Shadow answered

Kenshi smiled.
"Nice to meet you. Were you the one that made that crashing sound? Almost gave me a heart attack while I was training." he said.

"Yeah...Sorry about that."Shadow said.

"Hmm. It seems there is no order around here. You must sleep at least 8 hours. If people can choose to stay up, that is very unorganized, and their work will disrupt others from sleeping. This HQ needs more order." Brutus said, picking up his notepad and scribbling some words down to remember later.

Dark smiled.
"Order never really was Kenshi's thing." He said.

"Kenshi? I don't believe I have had the chance to meet this fellow." Brutus stated, putting his notepad on his little nightstand.

"Wait... You were training?Can I see where?"Shadow asked.

Dark smiled.
"He's probably in the training room." He said.

"Sure. Follow me." Said Kenshi.

"Training room? Sounds like a fine place to practice swordsmanship." Brutus remarked, thinking about the sword he used to wield.

Dark nodded.
"Yep. He trains there every day." He said.

"Okay" Shadow said following Kenshi.

Kenshi led Shadow into a huge room full of different weaponry, training equipment, and practice dummies.

"Every day? Are others permitted to train?" Brutus asked, imagining himself with his sword again.

"Whoa!" Shadow said as he looked around.

"Yeah. People can train as well. Kenshi is just there the most." Said Dark.

"Like it?" Asked Kenshi.

"Ah, I see. I anticipate the day I train there... If I had a weapon. I lost my sword a few years back." Brutus yawned.

"You got a power? I learn to control my power in the training room too." said Dark. "and even if you don't, we have weapons in the room." he added.

"Like it? I love it!" Shadow said.

Kenshi smiled.
"You're welcome to train here if you want. My power is to handle any weapon with expertise, so I'm usually training here every night. If I ever sleep, it's in the day. I'm more nocturnal." he said.

Shadow picked up a sword and swung at the beating dummie.

Kenshi watched Shadow's technique with a frown.
"Here. Hold it like this." he said, adjusting the sword so it was much lighter to hold.

"Okay" Shadow swung again. "Is that good?" He asked.

Kenshi watched and nodded slightly.
"Better. Also, your opponent will expect you to be quick, so must think quicker. Sometimes, it's nice to do a few off balance blows to before finishing. Like this." he said, taking a sword. He zipped forward with incredible speed, throwing quick side blows before stabbing the dummy's chest, knocking it over.

"Ahhh" Shadow said watching very well.

Kenshi nodded.
"Hope I'm not overwhelming you with all of this." he said with a small smile.

"Not at all" Shadow said trying to do what Kenshi did.

Kenshi smiled.
"It might be hard for you. But you'll get it eventually, right?" he said.

" I hope" Shadow said.

Kenshi smiled. He swished a few sword strokes lazily.
"You can't sleep?" he asked.

"Not at all" Shadow said putting down the sword and picked up a new weapon.

Kenshi laughed.
"Like Dark." he picked up a few daggers and hurled them with accuracy.

A young girl with light brown hair ran down the halls. She was a bit restless, but she sure wasn't gonna bother Twilight.
"She's too jumpy at night. Geez, I want to play." she muttered.

Shadow poked the dummie with a spear.

The girl perked.
"Maybe Kenshi will play with me!" she said, she ran toward the training room and walked in. "Hey Kenshi! Who's your friend?" she asked.

"This is Shadow. He's new so play nice. No pranks. You tell your sis that too. Go play your pranks on Dark. He loves to deal with them. Where is your sis anyway?" asked Kenshi with a grin.

"Don't know, don't care. You know her, she's a loner. Can't keep her here." said the girl with a shrug. She turned to Shadow. "Nice to meet you! I'm Alyx!" she said with a smile.
