Serana wasn't close enough to them to hear their conversation, she was reading a map of Tamriel, minding her own business.

[Next day time skip..? Ooh, and I now have my awesome 2 month school holiday So I'll be on a lot more :3 ]

[Two months? Holy merda. o.o And let us skip to next day! OH, and I just saw The Hobbit... A-FREAKING-MAZING!]

Umbra was awakened by the break of dawn. The rising sun illuminated the distant mountains, and she found it quite beautiful. She was reminded of Skyrim; she would be there soon. She rolled over onto her back and found Kevin closer to her than he had been when they fell asleep. A lot closer. Umbra grinned to herself and shook her head, musing, How would Ezio feel about that? She arose and immediately set about preparing for travel again.

[Was that aimed at me for seeing The Hobbit or Kevin for getting so long a break? :x]

[Maybe not 2 months, probably a month and a half I'm playing so much Assassin's Creed III...it's worse of an addiction than weed I tell you...not that I've ever done drugs Besides the odd Panadol or two.]

Since so much of Skyrim was on the back of his mind, Kevin had dreams about his time there, but they were more like nightmares.
He opened his eyes to see Umbra setting up her stuff for travel.
"Good morning..."

[Hahah, I'm hooked on Skyrim again. Started playing again a couple days ago and sat there for five and a half hours creating iron daggers and leather bracers to level my blacksmith skill. Went from like, 42 to 91 and then made my Daedric armor. ^,^ And that sucks, Jesse. D:]

Umbra glanced at him. "Morning, Knightingale," she said simply.

[Ahahah :') I used to do that on PS3, but now on the PC I can just spawn a set ]

"I guess you'll be leading the way from here." He said, getting up.

[ I am going to eat your soul. Besides, there is no sense of pride - no sense of accomplishment! Where's the fun in a mod, anyway?]

Umbra nodded. "It would be best," she replied.

[... I am unsure of how to respond to that.]

Umbra leaped into her saddle, ready to ride.

Kevin did the same, ready to follow.
"So you know where we're going?" He asked.

[I swear to the heavens above I am psychic. I did it again... that thing where I log in two minutes after someone posts.]

Umbra turned to look at him. "Of course I do," she told him. "I can feel the magic of the border."

Serana, ready to follow, smiled a little. "It has been a while since I've been to Skyrim.. By the Nine, I miss it."

Umbra glanced at her, unable to suppress a grin herself. "As do I." Without another word she spurned her horse forward.

Kevin followed behind Umbra and Serana, keeping quiet and wondering what will happen in the next few months in their journey to Skyrim.

[Oh my goodness, I just died inside from the cuteness. :x]

The journey was uneventful, fortunately, and by high noon the trio approached the border - more or less a portal that was hidden in a high mountain pass. Its magic pulled at Umbra like a magnet. She looked over her shoulder to her companions and said, "Here it is." She had to strain to keep the excitement out of her voice. "If you're quite ready, I plan to pass on through."

Serana stared at the portal, it was surrounded by bodies of Imperial soldiers, burned and some of them were half eaten. One of them also had note left to stick with a dagger. Serana took the note and began reading it.
""Are you ready for a challenge, Dragonborn? I am back and I am here to claim your title to myself, you do not deserve it. Yours, Miraak"..." She was obviously shocked when she said the name of the writer, she did recognise the name.

Umbra cocked her head to the side, her expression a mixture of shock, disgust, and confusion. Then, when the note's words sank in, she bared her teeth - quite a scary sight considering they still looked like an Argonian's. "'I don't deserve it!?'" Umbra shrieked. "Does this simpleton not realize that I am the one who fulfilled the prophecy that the Scrolls foretold?"

"Do you even know who Miraak is?" Serana asked, watching Umbra closely.

Umbra looked at her. "No," she answered, short and honest.

Serana let out loud sigh. "He was the first." she said while thinking of the legacy she had heard.

Umbra raised a brow, as she normally did. "I was told the first Dragonborn was Alessia, the founder of the Cyrodilic Empire..." she trailed off. "But then the Greybeards never told me everything anyway." She rested her one-eyed gaze on Serana. "Before we reenter Skyrim, Serana, tell me more of Miraak. No doubt he is a figure of power so great the Greybeards did not tell me in fear that I might confront him... as they have done before."

Serana nodded. "During the period of time when dragons ruled over mortals, Miraak served as a dragon priest on the island of Solstheim. legend say, he came into possession of a Black Book which in turn lead to him to servitude under Hermaeus Mora, the Daedric Lord of Knowledge and Fate." Serana began telling what she had learned from Dalazer. "Sure, he was dragon priest, but he also happened to have dragonblood in him, he was the first. Miraak turned on his dragon masters, using his powers to devour their souls to become ever more powerful." She kept small break there. "He has a power to make living creatures do his bidding, even dragons..."

Umbra then raised both eyebrows. She nodded slowly, taking it in. "Then I suppose I can see why he would want me dead." She sighed. "Well, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it." She snapped the reins and passed through the portal without another word. A shock passed through her body and she shuddered, and the next thing she knew the crisp, cold air of Skyrim was greeting her, welcoming her back. Or so it seemed to her.

Serana followed her through the portal to Skyrim, not surprised at all to see more of the Imerial soldiers lying on ground, dead. "I guess the others made it through the portal, dying there.." She mumbled, looking bit upset.

Umbra rode on, ignoring the corpses as best she could. She took in the surrounding scenery and as best she could figure they were in the Rift. The Throat of the World towered in the distance, and she began making her way toward it.

Nathanial sat in one of the last not burning trees in the whole area. He had gotten some new pieces of armor and weaponry off some of the killed warriors. (Some of which he assassinated himself.) A few people rode horseback through the tattered war zone.

Finally, a little more action. He thought. Nathanial leaped down from the tree, only to land right on Umbra's shoulders.

Umbra hissed and instinctively threw herself - and thus her attacker - off her horse. She unsheathed her dagger and jumped up to face her adversary.

Nathanial rolled off the horse and skidded onto his feet. A hidden blade popped out and he lunged at Umbra.

Serana shot fireball straight at Nathanial, powerful enough to knock him back, but not powerful enough to kill him.

Kevin was ready to shoot Nathaniel with an Italian Flintlock he had been hiding for the journey but then he noticed his Hidden Blade.
"STOP!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, aiming the weapon at the attacker.

[YA...I just got that flintlock in AC3..so i was like "Yeah...gotta have this in the RP" Sorry about Kevin getting an awesome weapon out of no-where Sadly Knightingale hasn't really got any flint to light the gunpowder with ]
