Ivor gently picks up Stripes and carries him on him back with his two brothers flanking him. I return to my tree after catching some fish for me and my friend, the mongoose.

While Sybil was apologizing, her attention turned to something else. "Wait, do you hear something? It sounds like... howling." she said, moving her ear to where the sound was. There were two wolves in the Haven... was that Chica, or that other wolf she hasn't seen for quite a while?

"Stay here."she ordered Speckles, and went towards the sound's origin...

Personality: Toboe is very timid and prefers to keep his feelings to himself, though he is extremly loyal and would easily give his life to save a friend.
Goal: Toboe's ultimite goal in life is to just find another animal of his specis. Mostly cause he never saw another red wolf other then his own reflection.

Yay, Yoshi's back!

"It's fine, no biggy," Speckles replied, groaning as he tried to pry off the nut. After his little head popped out, he asked to the air, "Did you ever get the feeling that someone's talking about you. Insulting you behind your back, maybe?"

Right then, Skaliscin zipped out from the bushes, breathing heavily.
"What the cra- YOU CALLED ME FAT, DIDN'T YOU!!" Speckles exclaimed, scowling with disdain.
Skaliscin looked at the invertebrate with an expression of horrified confusion.
"You're really s-s-starting to s-s-s-scare me," she hissed.

Oc: toboe is back!! Yay!

Chica continued looking for Sybil, really urgent. And howled again

Kona was walking around the island. "OOOH A WOLF!!!" She exclaimed and ran over.

Kallik noticed Kona running over.This fox doesn't think anything is a threat... She thought.

Sybil went out into the woods, when she bumped into Toboe. "Woah... you! Where have you been? I haven't seen you in days."Sybil complained. "Where you the one howling?" she asked.

Toboe looked back a Sybil with a mischievous smile on his muzzle, "Oh nothing important... However no, I haven't howled in quite awhile... Perhaps it was Chica?"

ooc: you do realize that wolves howls are different from each wolf? but then again, sybil is not a wolf so she wouldnt know

chica panted for more breath. where is she? she thought. this is important!

Sybil pointed out, expecting a quick answer, since she needed to find Chica, fast!

chica almost completely forgot scent tracking and put her nose to the ground. when she found sybil's scent she followed it

While waiting for Toboe's answer, Sybil started wondering for how long Chica has been howling. She was in that cave with Speckles for quite a while, so she really hoped the howling wasn't for so long. Not only because it is her responsibility to listen to everybody, but also because all that howling could have disturbed the other animals, especially the birds....

after the tracking, it lead her to where toboe and sybil, talking. she slowly walked out, remembering how toboe reacted with others. "toboe! its been so long1" she said. then looked sternly at sybil. "i think there is something you should know"

Speckles noticed the strange expression on the serpent's face; something wasn't right.
"What's going on? You look like you saw a hawk," he noted, concerned. "No offense to any hawks, by the way," he added aloud.
"S-s-speckles-s-s," Skaliscin breathed, her eyes dull with some sort of emotion.
The velvet worm tilted his head and raised his "eyebrows" in expectation.

Kona bumped into Toboe.

I think I'll keep the elephant brothers but Royal, the harpy eagle and Peregrin Falcon will go. I feel bad only haveing one cat so I am going to be a cat as well.

Personality: He is very timid and shy. However despite his shyness he is the most generous creature there is. Likes Sybil but is too shy to admit it.

I try to scamper up a tree as the poachers that have been chasing me find me again, but feels something hit me and I fall to the ground before strong hands grab me. I touch my side and it comes back sticky with blood. I sink my teeth into man's hand and seeing the orca rush over to him as fast as I can. I mount him and clutch my side in agony as we get to far out to sea that the humans give up.

Meanwhile Jael leaves the tree after getting the mongoose another fish. He perches on branch and keeps a lookout for the humans. His eyes never moving from the smoke in the distance.

OOC: That is not true Margays as well as tigers are being poached all the time. Read this article: www.endangeredspecieshandbook.org/trade_spotted. There are all kinds of other animals that are poached Margay pelts are highly valuable and therefore well sought after. I changed it so that I am not controlling your character. I'm not sure where you got your information but poachers will hunts anything that they can profit from and a margay pelt is priceless.

Margay Status:
The biggest threat has been the exploitation of its pelt for the fur trade, which reached numbers of 14,000 per year. That number is believed to be greatly underestimated as it was seldom verified which spotted cat the pelts originated from. Sadly, in some areas, illegal hunting for domestic markets or underground fur trade still presents a problem for this little cat. Its greatest threat today, however, is deforestation of its natural habitat. Because of the Margay’s inability to produce large litters (or litters with multiple births!) combined with the fact that they only reproduce once every 2 years and the kitten mortality rate is 50%, their outlook for survival, both in the wild and in captivity, is grim.

Sybil was both confused and horrified. "WHAT! Humans, on THIS island!? What rubbish! Whatever you saw, they can't be humans. they don't have access." Sybil yelled, with a lot of hopes Chica was wrong. If humans approached the island either by sea or by air, she was suppose to be informed by either the orcas or the birds...

"stripes is with the elephants" chica spat the last words, remembering what they said about, "being able to guard the outback." "i know it probably isnt possible, i... i dont know what happened, some others should have warned us if there were" chica continued. "or maybe they just want us all to die...." she trailed away. this reminded her of her history, her bad reputation with humans. she could feel tears, but she held them back

Sybil was very worried. Was it possible that the humans advanced their technology to the point of finally being able to access the island? The answer she didn't want to know. "I refuse to believe there are humans here... but if they are, they must leave at once. If they don't want to... well there is no other choice but to lead them to the deadly quicksands of the swamp." Sybil said, sounding very serious. It wasn't her intention to bring deaths, but that a rule she broke with animals as dangerous as humans.

"Listen Chica, I must inform Cairo about this. He always know what to do in emergencies as serious as this one. Try to warn any animal you can and keep them away from the humans." the civet ordered. She didn't believe Chica, but if it turned out to be true, the risk was too big to take. She swiftly left the area in search of the orca boss...

Now Sybil's worries turned into pure horror. If Stripes also said that, then it must mean it is true. "I know Stripes. Chica told me." she explained to the poor thylacine. "Stay hidden while I search for help." she ordered, and once again ran off to a calm bay near Light Beach where Cairo usually hangs out...
