^ I zoom in on it and I see some kind of red bull holding some crystal. For sure it cannot be magic, life, water, air, or fire. Possibly tech. But that base reminds me of a an u dead one. I hope we find out soon.

^umm that is ignitor, but legendary. Ok, we don't know about undead giant because of the angle however it is small so it could be. I'm leaning on the fire side because it looks like a bull and it's red.
Opal, the orange is the color of the very bottom like green was for series one.

^ I keep looking at it and it can only be two tech or fire. Fire would make sense, but the base looks brown/ grayish. So maybe it's tech. It could be a hunchback of NorteDame Skylander!

^ Oh, I see, it is the orange strip. It looks like a tech base because if you look closely in the grey area, you can almost make out the gears. Maybe the yellow "straw" part around his hand is actually a large yellow gear? The more that I study it, the more it appears to be a gear but maybe I'm seeing it wrong?

Yeah i think its a tech skylander too because throught terrafins legs you can kind of see gears and an orange strip and he looks like he had a tiny horn kind of like wham shell

^ Yeah, it's most likely a tech figure.


I was examining that humanoid water character and what I thought was a bow in its hands might be an ice shard so it's probably an ice character similar to Slam Bam, that chucks ice shards and uses other ice-based attacks. Maybe they were originally creating that white dragon figure to be an ice character similar to that one but later decided to make him an earth elemental instead. I honestly think that the white dragon is more fitting to be an ice/water element than an earth one. I wonder what its attacks are going to be like.

I think the dragon is an albino, probably the cave-dwelling type that lost their color by living in pitch black for generations.

^ That's a neat concept, it wouldn't be a true albino due to it not lacking pigment in its eyes ( such as red eyes like on white rabbits and albino reptiles) but I think that's a pretty cool idea.

^ If you mean the character behind Terrafin, it looks like a red version of Pop Fizz so maybe it's a variant of him? The blue figure behind Bouncer doesn't look like Zap, it appears to be a humanoid-type figure which is most likely the new normal-sized water element character. I'm trying to figure out what that character is behind Drill Sargent, is it a light Core version of Drobot with lazers projecting from his eyes?



I looked closely at the red Skylander and it is not a red pop fizz. Look at the red guys wrist. It has something like straw, pop fizz has chains. And judging. Y the platform of it I think it's an undead Skylander or earth. Can't really tell because it looks like the base slants.



I don't think it's earth, we've already seen the earth one; it's the crystal dragon next to legendary Ignitor, near the portal.

New info from the facebook walkthrough:


  • Pop Fizz is AMAZING! smilie
  • Cynder has a new attack that calls lightning down from the sky
  • LightCore figures enter the game with a bang doing damage to all enemies around them
  • "Legendary Treasure" boosts your abilities when used in the Upgrade-a-tron
  • Elemental Gates are themed for their elemental type, rather than looking like a gate with a symbol on it (e.g. Undead gate looks like Hex's bone power.

I think with the giants they have lightcore technology, but it is only the special lightcore characters that have the extra power, prisim break eruptor, shroomboom (is that his name?) and the fourth one. giants are already powerfull enough they don't need that extra power.

I'm sure each Giant does something similar, because they make a huge crater when they enter the game. I think I saw that being used in a video to hurt enemies. Can't for the life of me find it though.

Everything I have heard in interviews and read from official sources said "select" or "favorites" for reposes - not all 32. Can anyone provide a source for all 32 being reposed aside from conjecture?

I have not seen any discussion on the new difficulty setting feature. If I can't find one, I'm going to start it!

28 will be getting new designs under the same name - from what we can gather, the four missing ones will be 4 new legendary characters, as what is presumably a Legendary Ignitor and Legendary Slam Bam can be spotted in the trailer

The Lightcore Skylanders (Prism Break, Eruptor ETC) are also remodeled - which until E3 was unknown. So, if you were planning on getting a series 2 Prism Break, it would be the Lightcore one.

Alot of this conversation is still idol speculation (like the concept of new legendaries in the new series). People have tried to analyze that commercial spot in considerable detail. It looks like the remodels for Whirlwind (the horn), Hex and Double Trouble consisted of parts that could light up. Obviously at least one of those three guesses is garbage as Eruptor and Prism Break are both confirmed.

I did this because the Light Core Skylanders, old and new, are separate than normal Skylanders. The main reasons being the fact that they do different things in game, but also because of the price (Light Core Skylanders will be more expensive than normal Skylanders and more than likely branded separately too).

I'm pretty sure that the character behind Terrafin isn't Wham Shell unless they decided to make him a tech elemental and changed his weapon to a crystal. The "horn" is also wrong.

the video didn't say anything about flash player before loading....i just clicked on it and it showed a black screen instead of the vid....

^ Hmm, that's odd. I noticed other posts from forum members having difficulty viewing the Giants videos on Facebook so it might have something to do the site itself or the video's format isn't well composed?

Edit:

Okay, I just looked through the video's coding and it appears that my Adobe Flash Player (version 11.202...) is the software that is reading the video's format. I would try right clicking on the video and select "low" in the "Quality" options and making sure that you have the newest version of Adobe Flash Player. I hope this helps.

i just noticed..sometimes facebook gets hacked and the logo chages(facebook in favorited in the toolbar)and the logo changed to what looks like a play button...
