Blitz sighed. "He's a night spirit, don't you understand? He's not going to cease and desist just because you want to be his friend."

"Cleekrin... We want you to stay here... With us" Virtu said

"Cleekrin, we don't want to fight you... There is a way that we can have a balance... You can stay here with Solas and cause night to fall at the end of each day" Ki said

Kihei looked at Solas "Help us show Cleekrin we can all live together in peace"

"That's the problem, young one," Solas replied, "we can't stay in this realm forever. It just doesn't work that way..."

Cleekrin calmed slightly, "if you insist on getting in my way, then I shall dispose of you. Now what will your answer be?"

"There has to be some way" Kihei said

"Cleekrin... We get it, but we want to reach a compromise to where you can stay in this realm, and we can have the daylight back" Ki explained, petting Cleekrin, Virtu scratched under his chin

"And so you call all darkness evil?" Flain retorted. "Kumara and Mindra have darkness in them, but they aren't evil. Light cannot exist without darkness, and darkness cannot exist without light. They're two sides of the same coin."

"I couldn't have said it better myself, Flain," Solas agreed, "we are spirits, meaning we can never exist here."

Cleekrin backed away from Ki and Virtu, "very well, if you beat me in a battle, I will return back to hell. If I win, you leave and stay away."

Ki sighed as he got out his club "I'll fight you myself Cleekrin... My sister died by Shadow's hands because of the deal you made with him... I need to do this alone" He said

"As will I," Skyward added.

"Shadow? That fool was easily manipulated and naïve. He actually believed I would grant him immortality. That 'deal' was one sided," he said to Ki, "in fact, your all as stupid as he was."

Kumara growled, "your a monster! I will also fight alongside my friends!"

Frocious silently nodded in agreement.

"Strength in numbers Cleekrin," Solas said, "you can still change."

"Bah! You're all fools!" He said, almost worriedly (almost). Cleekrin then pounced at Ki, teeth bared.

Ki smacked Cleekrin with his club, sending him away from Icestorm's attack "Guys... This is my fight... I lost my home... My saftey... I almost lost my family... And years of my life were lost too... I won't let you guys get hurt... I have nothing to lose, so if anyone must sacrifice themselves... It'll be me" He said before lunging at Cleekrin

"Guys... Let my brother do this... He believes if he doesn't, He'll be nothing" Virtu said, somehow knowing how Ki felt

Cleekrin regained balance and dodged to the side. He spun around quickly before using wind energy to stun him.

"Are you sure he will be alright?" Kumara asked Virtu worriedly.

Ki tried to deflect the attack, but it failed, he was stuck in place from the wind, he managed to spin around and used his club to send the wind up "Nice moves Cleekrin, I have to say" He said before entering the Shadow Realm, he reappeared behind Cleekrin and hit him with his club "But I've got tricks too"

Cleekrin yelped in fright, quickly jumping away.
"What are you?!" He questioned in surprise.

"If you really must know... I'm a monster" Ki said as his eyes started to glow red "I was born with the Touch of Death, I prevent it from activating with my gloves"

"How is that possible!" He growled, "I've never heard of such a thing."

"I don't know either" Ki said as he walked up to Cleekrin "I don't want to hurt you... But I will if I have to"

Cleekrin growled as he backed away. Then a thought his him.
"You still can't kill me..."

"Maybe... but I can hurt you" Ki said as he walked closer

Ki, his night prowess can intrude the mind and bring forward your worst memories, so be prepared for the worst. If he somehow manages to use paralysis on you, I can send you some of my light energy to counteract his own. It can also enhance your overall power as well, Solas said telepathically to Ki.

"You can try..." Cleekrin said darkly before beginning to increase his night energy towards his mouth. A black ball of fire, surrounded in a blinding white light began appearing slightly outside of his jaws. It began to slowly increase it's size.

Unexpecting the sudden attack, Cleekrin was unable to move in time, allowing the ball of energy to be hit. However, the energy instead created a powerful blast as the energy was unstable.

"Look out!" Frocious barked, creating an ice field.

Solas immediately put up a light shield, "inside!" She yelled.

K'ara went inside the sphere of gold.

Ki was too close to get in the sheild, but Kihei and Virtu got in

Skyward quickly flew out of the shield and landed in front of Icestorm. "Critical condition!" she yelled.

"Oh, for goodness sakes…" Blitz growled.

Cleekrin was knocked back by the blast but sustained no injuries. His mind however, was being tampered with.
"No..." He whispered, eyes turning to slits.

All who were inside the gold sphere were safe and uneffected. Solas had hoped Ki got her message.

"We must get him inside the sphere! Icestorm's mind is being probed at by the night energy! He will see their worst nightmares or memories if we don't hurry!" Solas said alarmed.

Kumara began to check Ki for injuries, "you OK? No energy got to you?"

Ki screamed "Leave me alone! I didn't mean to kill them!" He yelled before waking up, he dragged Icestorm into the sphere, but Ki didn't enter it "I'll be f-fine... J-just get out of here!" He said before walking over to Cleekrin and hugging him "Its going to be ok Cleekrin, I'm here for you buddy"

Solas looked at the others. "He still wants Cleekrin to be on our side..." She said to herself, "right, everyone stay by me."

Kumara was shocked at the outburst and backed away, "just be careful!" She said before entering the shield once more.

Frocious was shaking Icestorm's shoulder, "Icestorm, are you alright now?"

Cleekrin growled and shoved the memories aside, "I will... Succeed..." He said after heavy breaths.

"Cleekrin, let me help you beat your memories" Ki said

"You can't help me! They're already in my existence! But if you really must know, I was there when the planet was created, I was there when wars raged on, I was there when creatures back stab each other, and I was there when the plague invaded. I could do nothing! For 2050000000 years, I could do, nothing!" He spat, "don't you get it? I was destined for this life, but now I found a solution to those problems..."

"What's your solution? I want to help you" Ki said

Frocious sighed in relief, "he's trying to talk some sense into Cleekrin," she replied.

"The solution is that I remain here, keeping the world in darkness. That way, all creatures and plants can't survive, and the world would have no souls to believe in me, or Solas. Thus our existence would end." He said, "it's the only way to find true peace among the stars. You creatures sicken me. All those wars, friends betraying friends and those who believe in darkness..."

"There's another way, will you trust me?" Ki asked

"There can't be! Prove it!" Cleekrin growled.

Ki put his hands on Cleekrin's temples and stole his nightmares, he fell over, shaking

"What the?! How?!" He was growing more confused by the second.

"What's happening out there? Does Ki need help?" She asked Virtu.

"I don't know" Virtu said

Ki was on the floor, experiencing all of Cleekrin's nightmares at once

"You fool! Why would you do that?" He said more to himself.

The ground started shaking mildly, and a wave of pure dark energy wend over Cleekrin and Ki. The dark then began to take shape of a dragon.
"Looks like I got here on time..." Shadow mumbled before picking Ki up and flying towards the group.

"Shadow!" Kihei growled "What do you want?"

Virtu looked at Cleekrin "Whatever he did, he did it because he looks up to you, he wants to be more like you, he thinks you know can teach him about his powers" She explained

Ki was trembling with fear as the nightmares got worse

Shadow entered the Gold sphere.
"Long story short, I found out that he lied to me..." Shadow said gesturing to Cleekrin.

"But why! None of this makes sense! I wish to kill off this world, while he tries to stop me! With words!" He said angry and confused.

"You should have trusted us Shadow, but I can forgive you" Kihei said

"My brother doesn't believe in violence, he only fights to obtain peace, darkness can be good, that's why he took away your nightmares" Virtu said as she stepped out of the sphere

Ki was still trembling, but it started to subside when he was brought into the sphere

"He really thinks peace can be obtained though words?" He asked, voice quietening.

"What are you doing!" Frocious exclaimed, "you could kill yourself!"

Frocious looked up to Solas," you can heal him, right?" He asked.

"Only if he wants it," she replied, looking at Icestorm for an answer.
