I wouldn't do that, it almost ruined my spanish homework at some point since it has serious trouble translating in context. I have both a spanish dictionary and a spanish-to-portuguese dictionary handy on different tabs when doing homework, you might want to look for a japanese equivalent.

I have NoScript and RequestPolicy addons, so I wouldn't be able to tell if the places I use are legit because they block all ads even before Adblock. There must be some official dictionary place, maybe start at Wikitionary(which is safe since it's a sub wiki on Wikipedia) and go from there?
