Shard passed by the ladies cabin and into his own cabin, setting the money in a safe place and then getting things ready to set up shop.

Amos didn't realize there was a note on his door, as he wasn't expecting any other visitors tonight. Plus, he was too busy admiring the new weapons he bought.
Abby and Roxanne were inside the cabin, simply chatting and relaxing. Meanwhile, Nadia had just stepped out of the cabin. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do tonight, but she knew being stuck in the cabin with nothing to do was not her idea of fun. Perhaps she could train or go hunting.

Shard noticed Nadia outside and decided to go out as well, carrying his stuff. "Nadia." He nodded to her as Shard passed by with a bunch of bundles of stuff he was carrying.

"Shard." She replied with a slight nod of her own. As he walked passed with a bunch of stuff, Nadia wondered what he was up to. Normally, she didn't care to notice or pay attention to other weres, but boredom had currently led to curiosity. So without anything better to do, she began to steadily follow him, trying to seem inconspicuous.

Shard didn't really notice, too focused on carrying all of his stuff without it embarrassingly falling everywhere. He reached a small clearing that was not in the middle of the camp, but off to the side and easily accessible. He began setting up, putting down his stuff and setting up a fairly large tent within a good 10 minutes. Inside, he placed a carpet and then unloaded the assortment of weapons he had.

Nadia watched him from a distance, staying out of sight so as not to seem like some crazy stalker type. She didn't what anyone thought, but it would make things less awkward if no one noticed that she was watching. After all, if wasn't like she was watching Shard because she was interested in him. She hardly knew the guy. She was just bored, and boredom led to curiosity, and that led to--Wait, does he have weapons? Nadia then suddenly grinned as she eyed the weapons from afar. Man, did they look nice. All those sharp and pointy toys that a certain hunter would love to get her hands on.

Shard got out a sign that had a sword symbol on it and placed it right next to the doorway of his tent. Then he walked over, sat down on his lovely carpet, and waited. He certainly liked the carpet. It wasn't a pain to sit on as it was made from the fine glossy pelt of a bear he had caught and killed when he was young. Also, quite special was that at the edge of the carpet right behind where Shard sat, there were a few secret pockets where he could hold money. He already had some money stored in there in case he needed change.

Nadia figured the weapons were on sale, and even though she didn't need any more, she couldn't help but want to check them out. So she walked over to the tent and started browsing through the weapons. She grinned as her eyes darted back and forth between all the weapons. Nadia had a fascination for nearly any kind of weapon, but swords were her specialty, especially the broad two-handed ones. This was clear as she kept eyeing one very nice sword.

Shard blinked and lifted an eyebrow silently at the fact that Nadia was his first customer. Interesting. He spoke up. "That sword was made using a method much like the far easterners do by folding and tempering their blades to create an amazing durability and toughness to their swords. I used this technique of folding for that particular weapon. It's tempered hardness could probably break any other sword in a swing or two. Especially with your strength." He added that little jab at the end. "The price is $637 tax included." Shard smiled.

Nadia grinned from ear to ear, eyes wide with excitement as she picked up the sword. She swung it around a bit, already loving her new toy. She did happen to hear all the great things Shard was saying about it, and chuckled at the remark about her strength. Ah, yes, that sounded fun. Breaking any other sword with a simple swing. Imagine the damage she could do with that sword. She couldn't wait to--$637 dollars for it?! Nadia stopped grinning. She didn't have that kind of cash on her. However, she knew someone who did. Nadia then put down the sword.
"Hold onto that sword for me, I will be right back with the money. It better be here when I get back." She said. Then Nadia ran back to the cabin to get payment for it.

Shard knew he wasn't really supposed to show favoritism and save swords for people, buuuuuuuuuuut. Eh, she better hurry quickly. Shard picked up the sword himself. It was a bit too heavy for his tastes, but tested it a little. Unless another sword was made in this fashion, which is very rare, this will definitely break typical common swords. He set it back down and waited for Nadia's return.

Nadia quickly returned back to the tent, dragging along with her, Roxanne, who didn't look too pleased about being brought to the tent.
"Okay, why did you force me out here?" Roxanne huffed, hands on her hips. Nadia immediately picked up the sword she was looking at. "I want this. You have money. I get sword, he gets money, everybody's happy." Nadia grinned. Roxanne just huffed again and folded her arms. "And why should I care about some dumb old sword?" Nadia glared at her. "First of all, it is finely crafted, and able to break through common swords. And second of all, he has bows, too, genius." She muttered, pointing to an assortment of bows. At the mention of ranged weaponry, Roxanne's eyes widened, and she immediately began browsing herself. Her eyes seemed to sparkle and shine like emeralds when she found a longbow she liked.

If you want arrows with it, I have packs of 2 dozen. $20 per normal pack, $40 for the special ones. I sell armor piercing, fire, dull weighted, and poison-tipped." He offered.

Roxanne grinned. Not only did she love the bow, but there were so many nice options for arrows. "Ooh, so many interesting choices. I don't know which arrows to get..."
"Red, my sword! Pay for my sword!" Nadia groaned, wanting to go test it out. "Not now, Nadia, I'm shopping." Roxanne muttered, waving a hand at her friend for her to leave her alone. "You know what, just to make the decision easier, I'll take a pack of everything." She grinned. "After all, you never know when a certain kind of arrow will come in handy, so it's best to have all of them." "You better have enough for my sword, too." Nadia reminded her. "Oh, of course I do, don't be silly." Roxanne snicked. She then pulled a wallet out of her purse. "Alright, how much?" She asked Shard.

"$637 for the sword, $520 for the bow, and then the packs of arrows will be $180." Shard quickly calculated it all with a handy-dandy calculator. Technology was such a blessing sometimes. "The total is $1337, tax included." Shard said.

Nadia's eyes widened. She hoped her friend had that much cash on her, or at least enough for the sword. The sword was the most important item.
Roxanne glanced at Nadia and narrowed her gaze, like it was her fault she would be short on so much cash. "Hey, don't look at me like that. You spend at least that much on clothes alone." Nadia huffed. Roxanne then shrugged and looked back at Shard. She pulled out a wad of cash and handed it to him. "There you go." She said. Nadia then grinned. "Sweet! I got a new sword!" She said excitedly, swinging it around. She couldn't wait to make use of it. Roxanne just rolled her eyes at how immature she was being. However, at the same time, she couldn't wait to try out her new bow. Let's see one of them break this bad boy. She thought with a grin.

Nadia immediately ran off to go play with her new sword. Of course, this meant challenging every warrior and hunter in camp to a fight, and breaking their common weapons in the process. But she didn't care about the condition of their weapons, she just wanted to try out her own. Then again, anyone with a broken weapon would obviously need a good replacement. Although not her intention, Nadia would exactly end up advertising for Shard.
Roxanne headed back towards the cabin with her new longbow and set of arrows. She couldn't wait to try them out. So she headed over to where she had a target set up, hanging on a tree. She readied her bow and chose a regular arrow to test it. She lined up the shot and hit the target dead center. In fact, the arrow went clean through the target, and went deep into the tree. Getting it out would prove difficult.

Shard sighed, hearing the snapping of metal and the breaking of various weapons in the distance. "What have I done?" He chuckled to himself, giving Nadia one of the best swords he had on display. Though Shard just hoped that the camp had money. And technically, not everyone would be going to him. He did give Amos a bunch of replacement weapons. Shard suddenly frowned at the fact that one of his swords was being used to possibly break other swords he also made. "Hmm, I might have to make more weapons..." He mumbled.

Some of the people that had broken weapons were already showing up at Shard's tent for a replacement. They did want a new weapon, but some genuinely thought Nadia's sword as awesome and wanted one like it.
Meanwhile, Nadia was still running out, trying her new sword out on everything, and making a lot of people upset that their current weapons were breaking so easily. Nadia, However, was very much excited and very happy to have a new sword.

Shard was selling his swords left and right. And unfortunately, no one really had the money to buy his special swords. One of his specials was a long, beautiful samurai katana. The other was a slightly curved double-edged broadsword. Kinda of like a pirate sword, except for a different hilt. There were 2 longbows like Roxy's still available, and everything else. Shard kinda hoped people wouldn't start smashing battle-axes on Nadia's new sword. Battle axes had so much weight and strength behind them.

Nadia eventually grew a little tired of breaking every weapon in sight and ticking people off in the process. So with her new sword, she rushed out of camp to go try it out on other things. Roxanne noticed her leave and, for once, thought going off to test out weapons seemed like a fun idea. So she headed out, too. At least they would no longer be causing trouble in camp.
However, Amos had heard lots of noise outside his cabin, and was getting irritated by it. So he stepped outside to see what was going on, and put a stop to it. At least he didn't see Nadia and Roxanne fleeing the scene.

Shard had sold a bunch of stuff, made a lot of money in almost less than an hour. Now, he couldn't believe he had sold almost all of his stuff, save for a few specials. He was in the middle of packing up his things, especially his lovely carpet (with all the money in it) but leaving his tent up when Amos came on the scene. Shard quietly and casually walked back to the guest cabin he was staying at and walked in like nothing at all strange happened.

Amos noticed Shard walk away from a tent, but didn't really think anything of it. He saw a lot of people running around, trying out weapons on each other and having fights. He sighed and massaged his forehead. He sometimes admired the enthusiasm his camp had for fighting, but other times it really irritated him. Amos then gave a loud shout to get his clan's attention. They stopped dead in their tracks and turned to face their leader. Amos scolded them and told them all to stop this nonsense. Save it for the vamps, he would say, and stop wasting your energy on each other. Then everyone went back to business as usual.
Meanwhile, Abby was wondering where Roxanne and Nadia had run off to. She grew concerned when she heard noises outside the cabin, but it all stopped once she stepped outside. As she paused in front of her cabin, Amos turned to give her a stern look. Abby gulped and took a step back, hoping that her friend and sister hadn't caused any trouble.

Shard quietly counted the money he made today and put it all away for safekeeping. Then, he took out some gloves he bought and walked outside, going around and picking up bits and pieces of metal and broken swords that was being cleaned up. Hey, at least I recycle. He thought as he went around cleaning up the mess. Later he thought he would visit the forge in this camp and smelt this all down for later.

Nadia and Roxanne were outside the camp now, going through the forest and testing out their new weapons on anything they could find. So far, the two of them were having a blast. They loved their new weapons. As the two of them paused to take a breather, something caught Roxanne's attention.
"Hey, Nadia, do you smell that?" She asked her friend, sniffing the air with a scowl. Whatever it was she smelled, she clearly didn't like it. Nadia turned to look at her and scoffed. "What, did your vixen sense pick up on something dangerous?" She teased with a smirk. Roxanne shot her a glare and put her hands on her hips. "I'm serious!" She snarled. "I smell trouble. Take a sniff for yourself if you don't believe me." Nadia sighed and rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on, just ignore it. We were having fun with our new weapons a moment ago." "I can't just ignore, Nadia. I'm a scout. I'm trained to know the surrounding area and investigate such things. Besides, this may be something you want to use your new sword on." "Whatever." Nadia muttered. Then all of a sudden, they heard a howl in the distance. "Was that...?" She asked, turning to face the direction in which she heard the sound. "Vampwolves!" Roxanne growled. "See? I told you so. I picked up their scent from here. They're not far off." "You never said anything about vamps, Red!" Nadia growled. "And I thought we lost a pack of those stupid wolves before coming to this camp. How'd they find us? Weren't you supposed to be covering up our trail?" She snarled. "They must have uncovered it somehow, or simply kept patrolling in this general direction until they found us. And that howl means that they know they're on the right track. We better warn the camp." "Now, hold on! We don't have to warn anyone! The three of us handled those vamps just fine on our own. We don't need the camp's help. We don't even need Abby. We got new weapons, let's see how fast those vamps die!" "That's hard to argue with, but we're part of a camp now. They should know that there's vamps in the area, if they haven't already heard the howl." At the sound of the howl, the camp became alert. Amos turned and looked over the horizon with a growl. Rayne quickly came to his side. "Vampwolves? In our territory?" She huffed. "Should I take a patrol out there, sir?" "That won't be necessary." Amos replied with a smirk. He then got out a battle axe he had bought from Shard. "I'll deal with them myself. If I'm not back in twenty minutes, send backup."

Nadia and Roxanne shifted into their animal forms and rushed off to meet up with the vampwolf pack. The pack wasn't far off, and they were closing in on the camp fast. Howls could be heard in the distance as backup was already being called.

Amos arrived and shifted back to his human form. He readied his battle ax and glanced at the others. "A party? Ha! Well then, how about we give our so-called a guests a welcome they won't forget?" He smirked, ready to kill something.
Nadia smirked. "Sounds like a plan. I can't wait to see how fast I kill things with my new sword." A howl could be heard as a pack of vampwolves rushed towards them. Amos and Nadia both gave a roar as they rushed towards the wolves, weapons raised to strike. Roxanne knocked one of her arrows and fired, killing one wolf with a head shot.

Shard shot one in the chest, straight to the heart. He rolled and hopped into a tree, free shooting as quickly as he could. He did trade a little bit of accuracy for speed since the wolves just kept coming. In about 8 seconds he had used up half of his arrows. Then he unstrung his bow quickly and left it there for later, taking out his saber to join the fray. During the arrows he shot, he had killed 7 with either head or heart shots, and wounded 5 with either side shots or leg shots.

Before the wolves could get too close to her, Roxanne shifted to her hybrid form and hopped into the nearest tree. Nadia gave her backup by killing any wolf that was about to go after her. Once Roxanne was in the tree, she fired her arrows from a safe point, killing several vampwolves with heart or head shots. Roxanne's main focus was covering for Nadia, while her friend used her sword to slice through several wolves.
Amos was hacking through wolves left and right, chopping off heads, slicing through bodies, each blow powerful and deadly. Any wolf that dared get within his range got a face full of metal. One started to jump at him from behind, but Nadia killed it with her sword before it could attack. Amos and Nadia glanced at each other, nodded, and simply turned away to keep on killing. The wolves numbers were dwindling fast, but one howled to call for backup, and a distant howl confirmed that more were on their way.

Shard's sword wasn't as heavy as strong as the others, but it was d@amn fast, and he knew how to use it. Keeping his motion fluid instead of a hack and slash policy, Shard changed from parries to flowers, becoming a beautiful dance of death as he slipped and sliced his way through the vamp wolves and whatever came near him. However minimal scrapes did catch him in places he wasn't defending, being surrounded by so many things in a big brawl. But nothing serious other than surface scratches. The stamina of his wolf counterpart easily kept him in battle as he weaved a metal web of sharp edges and slashes.

Roxanne kept firing arrows, going for the kill, but she was running out of arrows fast. So far, she had only been using the simple ones, but they went by quickly. She would have to start using her special ones if she wanted to stay in the fight.
Nadia kept hacking and slashing through the wolves, keeping up the momentum and hardly taking any damage from them in the process. She also made sure to kill any stragglers that tried to go after Roxanne. As more vampwolves arrived on the scene, several of them began to surround Amos and dogpile him. These wolves seemed to know exactly who the leader was, and they were hell bent on taking him out. Even Amos's strength and skill with his ax couldn't stop him from being surrounded and jumped on. There were just too many wolves. Then suddenly, Amos shifted into his hybrid form, becoming larger and much more powerful. Already being a big guy, he looked like a giant in his hybrid form. The bear gave a roar as he tossed wolves aside like rag dolls to get them off his back. As they started to lung at him again, he swung his ax, slicing clean through them. As he fought them off, he huffed and breathed heavily. Amos was a strong fighter, but he wasn't as young as he used to be. He didn't have as much energy as Nadia, for example.

A black-shafted arrow thudded into the chest of a wolf who had been about to shoot an arrow at Roxanne. Tangath was leaning on the shoulder of a warrior that had helped him to the battle. He was firing more and more arrows, and he had an extra two quivers on the back of the warrior.

Rayan had been shooting arrows the entire time, killing with every shot. After half of her quiver was empty, however, she lunged into the battle, slitting wolves throats left, right, and forward. "There's gonna be an end to them!" Rayan exclaimed, her only wind being a scratch from a tooth to the arm. The main reason for this was most wolves went after Amos and Shard. The sheer amount made it to wear she still saw plenty of action, and she also killed wolves in the back if the horde around Amos.

ooc: Vampwolves can't use bows and fire arrows. They can't use any kind of weapon, actually. They're just like the average wild wolf, but made stronger through vampirism. They have the vampire fangs, they drink blood, they're stronger and faster, but they're still pretty much just wolves. All the vamp animals are. They're just a super powered version of what they used to be, so they can't do anything a human could. Well, they can talk, but that's pretty much it.
Also, I'm pretty sure Tangath still can't stand, since his ankles haven't healed. He would probably still need to be sitting in his wheelchair, instead of leaning on someone. Although, if you don't want to miss the action, you could still fire arrows and have a warrior assist you. "They seem to just keep coming!" Nadia growled as she sliced off one of the wolves' heads with her sword. "Then you just keep on fighting!" Amos roared as he sliced a wolf in half with his battle ax. No, there has to be a batter plan, a way to get them to back off. Roxanne thought. She was about to knock another arrow, when she realized she was out of simple ones. She knew she would have to use a special one now, but what kind? I need something that will scare them off. She then grabbed one of her fire arrows and grinned. This should do the trick. "Fire in the hole! Everyone get back!" She gave a warning to her kind before firing her arrow. Instead of simply aiming for a wolf and killing it, Roxanne thought of a strategy. She shot a wolf, but didn't aim for the kill, instead hitting the side. The wolf was still alive as the fire arrow caused him to burst into flames. While the wolf was alive, he ran around in a panicked frenzy, creating a wall of fire that separated the weres and the vampwolves. The flaming wolf finally burned to death, but not before accidentally setting fire to some of his kind. The wolves yelped in pain as they fled the battle, leaving a trail of fire behind them. Even the wolves not on fire quickly fled. Although the battle with the vamps was pretty much won, a fire had started in the forest because of Roxanne, and it was spreading fast. "Quickly! We must put out the fire! Everyone grab a bucket and fill it up at the lake!" Amos shouted. As he started to rush off to grab a bucket, he glared at Roxanne. She gulped, and hoped that she, Nadia, and Abby wouldn't get kicked out of camp for her little stunt.

((Well, for the bow part I could just edit it to say they were climbing up the tree or something?
As for the standing, I meant he was practically leaning onto the warrior, the warrior holding him off the ground. Also, to make that part make sense, he's being held up (enough for him to fire arrows) by both of them.)) Tangath sighed, felling so much better as he was lowered back into his chair as the vamps started fleeing. Then he realized the forest was in fire. "Well, time to leave!" He yelled, wheeling back towards the camp, going to grab buckets.

Rayan began to rush to the camp for a bucket. Roxanne was a tactical genius, but the fire was a gonna be a.... Bit of a problem.

Shard had slipped away to get from wolves surrounding him a little too many times. He had been separated from the group and completely surrounded. Shard saw the fires make the wolves flee, but as the forest fire spread, it trapped himself and four vampwolves left through fallen trees and smoke filled the air. Shard covered his nose and took a deep breath before the smoke reached him. 1 minute. He dashed forward, fire licking at his heels. The four wolves also came to the conclusion to try and take him down with them. They leapt at him, snarling and fangs and claws wide open. Shard knew he couldn't slip away, so he fanned his saber in front of them and slashed one on the chest, following through with stabbing the same one again. It was deep enough Shard knew he was going to bleed to death. The other 3 who had lunged together he batted away with his word, but one latched onto his sword arm and dug in at the elbow. Shard bit his lip at the pain as he was forced to drop his sword. The other two as soon as they landed bounded and was on him again. Shard swiftly pulled out his dagger with his left hand and stabbed it into one of them. The other one slashed at his chest, leaving a deep cut. The wolf on his arm bit harder, threatening to break the bone! Shard's vision began to turn red due to the intensity lancing up and down his body. His left hand reached for another dagger and he plunged it into the skull of the vampwolf on his arm. The grip did not lessen, but it stopped growing. This wolf was determined to have a death grip on him and it weighed him down to where he had no more mobility. The last wolf approached him. Shard backed up, heavily bleeding. The blood loss was making him lightheaded and the pain was numbing his senses. The fire closed in around both of them.

Amos rushed back to camp to grab buckets and fill them with water. The camp was well aware of the fire burning in the forest. They all had grabbed buckets, filled them up at the lake, and hurried to the fire to put it out. There was one were, an elephant, who instead shifted into his animal form and stored water in his trunk. Everyone did their best to pour water on the fire, and it was working, but the fire was growing stronger and spreading fast.
Nadia hadn't seen Shard since the fire started and this concerned her. She may not like to socialize with people, but she wasn't one to leave someone to die. Instead of going for water, or waiting for the fire to be put out, she stayed in the forest and searched for Shard. Roxanne realized Nadia wasn't among the weres gathering water, and immediately went to go look for her. She soon spotted her in the forest, obviously searching through the flames for someone. To assist her, Roxanne looked as well from the tree tops. Through the flames, she saw a two figures that faced each other. One she identified as one of the vampwolves, the other was Shard. "Nadia! Through the fire! It's Shard! He's with a vamp wolf!" Roxanne called out to her. Nadia growled and knew what she had to do. She then shifted to her tiger form. She got some distance between her and the flames, and then turned to face the fire. Roxanne's eyes widened in horror. She knew what the impulsive weretiger was about to do. "Nadia, don't!" But it was too late. Just as Roxanne cried out for her to stop, Nadia jumped through the flames. She had jumped over a lower part of the fire wall, but it still wasn't quite low enough. Nadia made the jump, but not without getting some of her fur caught on fire. She quickly rolled to put the fire out, but patches of her fur had been burned off. Nadia then saw a wounded Shard and the vampwolf. She roared and pounced at the wolf, sinking her teeth into its neck and biting down hard. Within moments, it was dead.
