In this harsh battlefield we call the internet, people have a tendency not to stick to their guns. People can be very harsh behind the shield of anonymity. "How dare someone not have the same opinion as me! My opinion is the correct one and everyone who doesn't agree shall face the fiery wrath of my text-based fury." They yell. And under their constant threats, many of us choose to back down. Or there's retaliation. Which is how the ever-popular flame wars erupt. The opinions that are most likely to cause this are ones about other people. Brutal honesty is considered to be a person telling what they think is the truth (hence, their opinion) no matter how controversial in might be. The recipient stands by his or her views, despite what everyone else might say.

Oh, wait, sorry, that's not the right description. *shuffles through papers* Ah, yes, you would think that given the drama she constantly professes to have started in mid-2011 she'd actually be the inverse of this award. But that's actually not the case. Although Baro tip-toes around her viewpoints with a lot of jokes, they're still there. And people grew used to them, so arguments stopped happening.

You know the old expression: "There is no winner in politics? Only losers." Metallo doesn't particularly care about that. If he feels passionate about something in current events you can bet your pay check he's going to let us know about it. Now, granted, he took an extended break during the middle of the year. But when he came back it's like he cranked the Opinion-O-Meter all the way up to 11 by extending these viewpoints to other members. Something he previously kept to himself. So he's showing signs of escalating!
