Punk Shock is featured in this weeks Target Canada ad, it says available this Tuesday so I guess my store jumped the gun but it's not blocked for sale in their computers.

Any quick draws in the east York to scarbrough area in Toronto ?

I'm west of Toronto and saw plenty of Quickdraw at my TRU, Walmart, and two EB Games stores

Just wondering what you fellow Canadians think about the availability of the Metallic Shroomboom (now available in the American market). To my knowledge, the Metallic Gill Grunt never made it to Canada, and thus I am worried the Metallic Shroomboom won't make it here either. Thinking about buying it off eBay, but would much rather buy it here at ToysRus (IF it comes to Canada!!)

I believe they put the leftover Gill Grunt in store after the "buy $100 Skylanders get one" promo, explaining why there are only in US. It is the first time Green Shroomboom is becoming available to the public and I have heard they have big quantities, so there should be enough to share with other countries.

Do you think the game will stay $84.99? I remember last year it dropped come release. Too high I think. It should be at most $79.99.

If they wanna charge $84.99, at least include a free figure. Gearshift should have been free for pre-orders. I can't believe EBgames is not giving us anything. Even a trap would be better than nothing. Or a free core. Disney Infinity is doing it. You'd think they'd be more competitive when you can get the Disney Originals starter for $59.99 including: 2 figures, game, portal base, power discs and another FREE figure for pre-orders.

Got my refund for Skylanders TT Dark edition. 132$... It's freaking too much!

Ya if I can get disney infinity for 74.99 plus a free figure at release I'm sure not gonna pay $85 with no deals for trap team.

They are going to have serious issues in the Canadian market if they are going to jack prices and not offer any sales and deals like the US. Disney infinity 2 beat trap team to market and offered better deals so I will keep the kids busy with that until Christmas. By then I'm sure trap team will have had a sale such as Black Friday. If the kids are really enjoying DI 2 I might even wait until next year and get it really cheap.

So seriously, there is not going to be any deals in Canada? Specifically the Toronto area? A little ridiculous. I hope there is something. With everything in Trap Team being so expensive, SOMETHING when you are buying so much would be nice like TRU stateside is doing.

I will get my starter & Gearshift from EB, but will hold off and go to TRU, FS or BB if they are doing something.

I was at my TRU to change my preorder from a ps3 to a ps4 and I saw the preorder forms. I was 1 of 4 people who preordered the ps3 and I think the only 1 to preorder the ps4.

urg between the traps, the mini's and the new elements and the price raise in general it feel like they are really trying to milk our wallets dry with this one

Honestly I wouldn't mind if this was the last skylander game since at the rate they are going I won't be able to keep up for much longer.

Would it have killed them to throw in a better preorder bonus? At least we got Lightcore hex for free with Swapforce which was better then nothing. Now it seems places can't even bother to throw in a trap

I was hoping at least one store here would follow the US TRU with some sort of deal. I'd take anything. At least a free core figure when you're spending this much. I also though the price would drop to at least $79.99. But that does not look likely either

Does anyone know if Target Canada is getting the Dark Starter Pack? That's my preference, but I'll grab the regular one tomorrow if needed to secure the Outlaw Brawl and Chain special. Of course if they're selling that on its own, I might just grab that and head to EB for the Dark Starter.

So - what's confirmed for Canada tomorrow?

- Target: Nitro Krypt King, Outlaw Brawl + Chain
- Toys R Us: Legendary Jawbreaker and Adv Pack (I haven't seen any ads, though TRU has been good 3 years in a row so no reason to expect anything different). Micro comic pack hopefully?
- Gear Shift, for anyone who pre-ordered.

Anything else? Was Riot Shield Shredder confirmed anywhere? What store was that in the US?

Well target is Infact selling outlaw brawl and chain as a trap on it's own. You don't need to get the starter pack in order to get him

My TRU was still putting out stock when I arrived this morning, but the staff was very helpful and cracked open a few boxes for me to get the exclusives. Saw no signs of wave 2.

I went to target today and they didn't have anything on the selfs but I did find a gear shift so even though it was for preorder I grabbed it and bought it anyway. So here's my day 1 haul

Yes, I got three Punch Pop Fizz in three different EBgames by exchanging an old portal.

My EBGames had that deal. I was considering using it because I heard of Love Potion Pop Fizz and thought it might be that. When I heard it was Punch Pop Fizz, I decided to pass since I had him already.

Is it just the loose figure or does he have his status card, etc too?

Trying out some old Skylander toys in Trap Team last night, and realized Roller Brawl has completely died. First time I've had a Skylander die on me - won't even read on the portal.

a) Does Activision's replacement program extend to Canada? Has anyone tried it?

b) Alternatively, any forum members in the Toronto area still see Roller Brawl on shelves somewhere? She was fairly common for awhile, usually alongside Zou Lou and Slobber Tooth.

No Toys R Us Stores across Ontario got anything "wave 2" but they did get individual packs of Legendary Deja Vu

I'm very disappointed on the legendarys this year. The only powerful legendary skylander this year in my opinion that would make my A TEAM is jawbreaker. Blades and de ja vu are not meeting my standards. But since they come with adventure packs I will have to get them since I even more dislike there regular colours. But I like the leg traps! Btw anyone need outlaw brawl and chain that live in Toronto ?

Other then launch most Waves seem to come out several weeks after the states gets them first

I honestly don't expect to see wave 2 in Canada until November or Early October if we're really lucky. Then after that Wave 3 will probably squeak in small quantities just before Christmas followed by a big gap where we don't get Wave 4 until late March/Early April

I have sucessfully used the broken skylander service through activision. I had a Stealth Elf that was chewed by our dog that they replaced no problem way back when and i just returned a nitro krypt king that had the bottom pc fall off. It took a little longer but no issues shipping from ontario.

Forgot to mention that swappers, giants and trap masters must be shipped back. Cores do not. They supply you with prepaid label however.
