Ignitor soul of the flame and Flameslinger marksmanseries 2 are not giant killers , i did testing and they lost to every giant i have(Tree rex, crusher, hot head, swarm, bouncer) withuot the field effect marksman couldn't do too much to the giants and they killed him, and Ignitor hindered the giants a bit with his fire soul but once they got to his armor he got slautered.

Does anyone else here feel strongly about whammy being in A? I think hes good enough. The 16 dmg on the AAX attack xbox ticks very fast, the AAB combo does 50 dmg and leaves a damaging spot like the shadow knights, and the posiden strike is really damaging. He could use some apeed, but the armor takes care of it. Bad X attack.

I agree. The Poseidon strike does great damage, and his combos are also quite damaging.

I don't see Wham-Shell falling from A. He's not broken and is very beatable, but is good at what he does. There are no mid-range Fighters that stand any sort of chance, including Ignitor.

Yeah, I kinda agree. He's strong, but the Brocken guys beat him. Not all the time, though. Whammy beats smilie regularly.

GF in SSA was bad, but in Giants, there is no hope for him. First of all, Bouncer is a better version of him in any way, shape, or form, makng whatever good GF could do useless. The bouncing bullets are helpful, but the shots in general aren't damaging enough to work well. His HP is a huge problem. I mean, the strategy normally for him would be to cover the field in bouncing bullets to try and thwart the opponent, making them unable to get near TH. But his speed is too low to play keep away, and once someone gets close to him, he is as good as dead as he cannot do anything to get him out of that position.

I actually just did some testing on him last night. He is the same, really. The only thing I noticed that was different is that he can use the machine gun while there are bouncing bullets, but that is minor.

If you're using SotF Ignitor properly then the opponent getting to his armour should not be a problem at all. Any opponent, giants included, should basicly get slaughtered by the ridiculous ammount of damage Ignitor can do when repeatedly spamming his Fire Soul attack at close range, using the primary attack button to detonate after each use. Remember that the trick to using SotF Ignitor is to not use either of his sword attacks, and use his fire soul attack like a melee instead.

As for Flameslinger, you'll have to ask someone like Tashiji for the exact reasoning from him being a Giant Killer. I'll still consider removing the label if enough people object to it with reasons why it should be removed.

I just think at first the giant killer label kinda made sense, but all those guys ended up in the top two tiers, which defacto means they should be able to compete with the bulk of the Giants. So I just feel the label has naturally been made obsolete.

Joerox, there is no need to spam the thread like this. Your post has been read and acknowledged, I just felt more information from one or two other people was needed before I can do anything with Flashwing / Super Shards tier-wise. Flashwing generally seems to be quite a devisive topic so far, so I'm waiting for some clear-cut and consistent opinion patterns to emerge before I put her anywhere.

On Super Shards, I would put Flashwing in B tier, you can hardly ever use the double edged sword part, and 13 damage isn't much.

Super Shards is UNDERrated! Try her! They are easy to find in my area, when you get one try Super Shards and tell me you don't like it. I am sticking strong on A. My new fav character by a longshot.

Super spinner is better. Shards make you rely on the one button. Sounner allows you to use both, and you deflect projectiles, too. I hate flashwing, i wish i didnt buy her, but shes ok.

Could you give some in-depth information on your testing? Such as, characters she beats and how she beats them? Because it seems to me that, if one gets close to her, she is screwed.

Sprocket: Sprocket is slow, and also got hurt by the elemental damage. Sprocket couldn't get near Flashwing allowing her to be a victor.

S2 Double Trouble: Same as Sprocket, but at least he put up more of a fight.

Legendary Jet Vac: He nearly won but Flashwing was faster and ultimately was the victor

Legendary: Slam Bam: Her lighthouse saved her, it does rapid fire 21 damage and Slam bam just couldn't take it.

I accidentally put L-Ignitor here, he won.

Chill: Her Ice Blocks led to Flashwings downfall, they blocked anything that she could shoot.

S2 Gill Ggrungt: TOO FAST!!

S2 Hex: Bonr Crafter + Wow Pow = Unstoppableness.

Crusher: Believe it or not, his bulk allowed him to drop hi hammer on her many times.

EERRRRR MMAAAAA GGAAWDDDDD - camo on vine virtuoso is absolutely great!!!!! I reset him today to take that path, took me 7-8 hours to get him fully upgraded, all challenges from S:SA done AND gold rank! I actually prefer it to melon master now, it can cover so much ground and do so much damage!
