"Artica, its time for break--" Flare had just walked outside the next morning to wake her sister, and found that she was not alone. "nevermind." she smiled. then she walked back inside, leaving Artica and Inferno alone. not long after she left, Artica awoke. she was about to stretch, when she realized she didn't have much space around her. she also felt a wing wrapped around her. she looked beside her, and smiled.
"Inferno!" she squealed happily, hugging him.
"huh?! what?! i'm awake!" he shouted, waking suddenly. he noticed Artica was awake, and was hugging him. he then smiled, and hugged back. then his stomach growled. "hehe, i guess its time for breakfeast." he chuckled lightly. the two walked inside together, and joined the others at a big table.
"i could really go for some--" Artica started to say, when Goldrune placed a plate of food in front of her. "fruit?!" she asked, sounding displeased as she stared at her plate. the others already had food, and Goldscale and Nightiron had begun eating. Goldrune sat down with her plate while the young dragons stared at breakfeast.
"well, i'm sorry, but we had chicken for dinner last night. besides, we'll be eating meat for lunch and dinner, and i thought fruit would be good for breakfeast." Goldrune said. "now eat your breakfeast." she insisted. Artica groaned as she took a very tiny bite of her Apple. the others sighed, and ate as well. after what seemed like hours of eating, breakfeast was over. since evil had been defeated, everyone had some time off. Goldscale, Goldrune, and Nightiron read books in the library. Ironstone, Goldheart, and Flare practiced thier powers on each other in the training room just for fun. Inferno and Artica left the lair, and headed out on thier own. they casually walked through the forrest together. they were enjoying themselves until they wern't alone.
"ah ha! i knew i'd find you! you thought you could get away, huh?! well, guess what! i'm onto you, mister!" a female voice shouted from behind them. they turned around to see a young dragoness.
"Venus, what are you doing here?" Inferno asked. Artica glared at her, mad that thier moment alone was ruined now.
"what am i doing here? i'll tell you what i'm doing here! i'm looking for you! your mom and dad are worried sick! they've been looking all over for you! Apollo and my parents have been looking too!" she said, sounding rather mad.
"well, i'm sorry, but i was with Artica."
"hmph. figures." Venus snorted, turning her glare towards Artica.
"what is that supposed to mean?" Artica snarled.
"it means--" Venus started to say, before Inferno got in between them.
"ok, back to your corners. retract your claws, please." he said, quickly.
"hmph." Venus grunted, turning away. Artica snorted. "Inferno, tell Artica--"
"no, we're not doing that. you two are standing close enough so that you can hear each other." he interrupted.
"yeah, that's the problem." Artica grumbled. he looked at her.
"Artica, do you mind going back home?" he asked.
"uh, yes!" she said.
"Artica, could you please go back home?" he asked. she sighed and looked away. "please?" he asked again, sounding sweeter. she sighed again, looking at him.
"oh, all right." she caved. then she flew back home. Venus looked at Inferno and smiled.
"i thought she would never leave. so, how've you been?" she said. he looked at her.
"come with me." he said, heading towards the cave where his parents lived. she followed with a smile.
"you know, if you're going to ask me out, you could at least--"
"i'm not asking you out." he said, a bit irritated.
"and why not?"
"because i already have a girlfriend, and you're not her." he said.
"hmph. you don't know what you're missing." she said, giving him a look before walking past him. "so, where are we going exactly? i mean, if i'm not your girlfriend, then how come we're alone?" she grinned as she glanced back. he sighed.
"we're going to see my parents to try and fix this." he replied, walking up beside her.
"fix what?"
"my relationship. my parents don't want me to be with her, you don't want me to be with her..." he sighed. "and i have to fix that." he said with a determined expression. Venus stopped a moment, but Inferno kept walking.
"well, we need to fix something..." Venus muttered to herself, with a gleam in her eye.

Hmmm im not liking where this is going with what venus said.... but please continue more when you can.

yeah, Venus has something planned....

yeah i see. by the way i posted in dragon high.
