Durza was annoyed. since his head was gone he felt around for Sozen. once he found Sozen he punched Sozen hard in the face. His head finished growing back and said "nock it off! I have things under control here." Reaper used his scythe to stay in. he was trembling in fear but not of Sozen but of Durza "W-What in the hell are you!?!" Durza looked at him giving him a savage smile "what's the matter? never encountered someone that didn't have a soul before?" Reaper backed up towards the wall slowly "t-that's impossible! everyone has a soul!" Durza chuckled like a maniac "well I'm not everyone. so you have a choice stay here and I'll let Corruptor take hold so he can tear you to pieces or run away to live another day." Reaper had his back against the wall now. seeing no easy way out he said "well look. when baby bro comes to just tell him that if he ever wants to see his girlfriend alive again he must find me at the area were the orb of fire is hidden and if he wants her back it'll be decided by a one on one fight with no outside interferences from anyone even a god or whatever the hell you are." and with that he vanishes using darkness to teleport himself out of their.

Kumara appeared from her place in the shadows.
She blinked, "umm... Ok what the hell was that!" She said pointing at Durza.

Nightshade was still unconscious and didn't move. Durza faced Kumara and said "that is my healing ability. as long as i exist i will always heal from my injuries, even being able to regrow entire limbs if necessary."

(Yeah, even though most of us don't watch dbz ... it does explain why your characters like to fight a lot, and get OP often.)

Capella found herself unable to intervene in time in any case, so she stood by, waiting for a new chance to keep the peace.

Nightshade was dazed and got up. every bone in his body ached but he obayed and stepped forward.

Nightshade nodded weakly "It would be an honor to accept it. I will do whatever it takes to save my father and this universe." and picked it up.

By then the pain was too much and Nightshade passed out. Durza checked his pulse "he's fine he just passed out. we should head back to that place he was taking us to. It may have a few medical supplies and we need to rest up before anything else." he picked Nightshade up and set him on his back and started heading out.

Kronos began to walk with the group. He had been in a rocky corner witnessing the fight, but since he had such a lousy time controlling his powers, he preferred to be as far away from the fight as possible. When it was all over, he was glaring at all directions, ready to snap at anybody who misinterpreted his action as cowardliness.

As they walked Durza looked at Kronos and said "Kronos. Come here, i want to have a word with you." by then they were half way to their destination.

Kronos came, with a tight jaw, as if he was preventing himself from yelling. He was ready to rebuff any accusation that was done against him.

Durza gave Kronos a side glance and said "now what's with that face? I'm only going to be giving you your first lesson."

Kronos flinched, believing that wasn't a good time.
"Right here, right now In the middle of nowhere?" he asked, looking around. He believed a good, calm setting was key for proper training.

Raclaw let Kronos be, not wanting to unintentionally offend the dragon and giving them some time to themselves.

Durza chuckled "well the first lesson isn't really a lesson, but more of a question. to see how much work is needed. also I did warn you that my methods are difficult. now the question, how well do you understand your element? you don't have to think of both of them we'll be starting with electricity, how much do you know your electrical element and how well do you understand what it is? feel free to take your time but you can't receive any help from others, this is a question that you and only you can answer since it is based off of your knowledge alone that the question can be answered."

"Well..." Kronos begin, thinking of all of his experience.
"With electricity, I can produce it at will, anywhere, anytime. But in terms of where it goes, it's just so random. It's almost as if once it leaves my mouth, it goes wherever it wants to. I can aim at something, yet it will always hit something else." he explained, and wanting to be done, he proceeded to talk about ice as well.
"As with the ice, well, there isn't much to say. I jut sneeze and that's it. And I can't fake the sneeze. Only a real sneeze makes it come out. Every time I try to recreate it, only electricity comes." he confessed, evidently very annoyed at his peculiar powers.

Durza nodded and said "yes, yes we know that already but what you know about the element in specific? how do you define electricity? What is electricity to you?"

Kronos was getting quite mad, believing Durza was pulling a trick question on him. Nonetheless, he composed himself and proceeded to answer.
"Well... electricity is a source of nature. It can be easily conducted through metal and water." he answered, believing nothing else could be explained further. He didn't bother explaining ice, since any fool knew what it was.

Durza thought for a second and said "well that's pretty good if you're just learning about it. It seems that I have a lot of work to do with you."

"What's more to know!?" Kronos asked, evidently annoyed. You couldn't get more simple and accurate than that.

Durza smiled knowingly and said "plenty my young friend. for starters electricity isn't just a force of nature it's also energy in its purist form, even purer then fire itself. It is what is needed so our brain can send orders to the rest of the body. It can give life by starting a stopped heart and can end it just as easily. electricity is also symbolic, it can represent speed and power, it can even represent ones personality like for you it represents your eagerness for action and the amount of mental power that you have for your knowledge of military tactics. and that my friend is only scratching the very serface of what electricity is. The better that you understand your elements the better you can control them. this rule applies to everyone as well not just you."

Kronos didn't seemed that interested in his lecture, but liked the part that said that electricity could give life just as easily as if it could take it away. Now that was true power. However, he felt like his lecture was flawed.
"Well, of course you need to understand it. But what if that isn't enough? Electricity is too unstable. It heads to the direction you least want it." he expressed, doubting he would ever master the infernal element completely.

Durza's smile broadened and said "well electricity in a way has it's own mind, you are not it's master but a humble guide. you need to guide it to the direction you want it to go. with practice you can be like the legendary lord of time that you were named after."

Kumara listened to the lecture, but remained a fare distance away. She was a little nervous that Durza would somehow know she was there, but hoped that he didn't think she was eavesdropping... Even though she kinda was...
She found his explanation of electricity interesting, and noted that he new about the fact that electric energy was far from tamable. She learned from experience that sheer willpower was required in order to manipulate said element. Sighing, she inwardly hoped Kronos had what it takes to weild Lightning itself.

Durza turned to face Kumara and said "I know you're their Kumara. I may be considered young in this dimension but I've spent 63 years fighting and ending wars, it is logical that if I focus enough I would know were everyone is for a few miles around. If you want you can help me teach Kronos, you would be able to help me by filling in any gaps that I might leave out and since in this dimension I can't use electricity you would be able to help with any demonstrations in my lessons. I don't mind you eavesdropping ether way."

'Busted' the black dragoness thought as she approached the two.
"It's no trouble for me, but I'll only help if Kronos will allow it," she replied calmly. Truth was, she didn't want to make Kronos angry. She knew he didn't like to be looked down upon, and tried her best to make sure he didn't think she thought he was useless.

Durza looked at Kronos and said "well Kronos, how about it?"

Raclaw watched the lesson from a distance, curious as to Kronos' progress. He thought about approaching and giving the dragon much needed support-- even if he couldn't directly help with the training.

meanwhile...

Reaper was out of the canyon. he was several miles away from the others including Durza, yet he was still trembling in fear "what the hell was he? I'm so far away from him yet I can't stop trembling. It makes no sense, I chopped his head clean off, he should have died instantly and I should've harvested his soul yet he lived and his head grew back! It's impossible, just what is he?"

Kronos simply looked away, not sure on what to think. He always believed that one teacher was more efficient than many, since he felt too helpless when there were more than one trying to help him.

Durza could tell that Kronos wasn't too sure about it "look Kronos it's entirely up to you as to how much help you get. but I want you to keep in mind that teaching is a lot like sparring. As you learn more and grow stronger so can the ones teaching you in turn, also the stronger and smarter you get the more valuable of an ally you can become. Now then I think that will be the end of our first lesson for today. now the homework, I want you to think about what I told you about elements and try to gain a deeper understanding of them, in doing so you can gain a better understanding of yourself. You have two days to think over your homework and I want your answer before we begin our next lesson. class dis missed."

"Wait, now? So soon!?" Kronos asked, frustrated that they didn't get to the elemental part. He then looked at Kumara, as if blaming her for the rapid dismiss.

Durza gave him a stern look and said "yes now. and don't blame Kumara for an early dismissal since we arrived at our destination and we have wounded we need to tend to. so be happy that we started at all."

Kronos was very angry with the way Durza treated him. Of course, since he was the one in control, he could do whatever he wanted. He didn't say anything though. Kronos always had trouble with teachers, since they either couldn't help him or quit too soon. He didn't realize how irritating he could be, and that's why so few wanted nothing to do with him.

Durza sighed and began to fly up to the top of the cliff being careful to avoid dropping Nightshade.

Kronos followed, wanting to be with Raclaw better since he was the only one in the group that he actually liked, but he would try to make Durza know without words that he won't give up on the training.

Kumara sighed, "well, it's up to you," she said to Kronos before flying over the group to have some quiet time.

As soon as the reached the top of the cliff Durza went closer to the entrance of the cave that Nightshade once called home. Seeing as it was to small for Durza to fit through he decided to gently pick up Nightshade and carefully set him down not wanting to make his injuries worse.

Kumara saw Durza and Nightshade enter a cave and flew towards them.

Kronos followed behind, as quiet as a sleeping cat. He felt that his opinions didn't matter in that group, so silent he remained.

Capella followed the group, "So, anyone want to talk?"

ooc: they didn't enter but they are near by the entrance.

Durza nodded "personally I agree with you Sozen. the cold will help Kronos develop a strong understanding of ice. but I believe we should let everyone decide. but before we do we need to rest and regroup." Durza then looked at Kronos and added "and to train." Nightshade groned and started to come to. slowly opening his eyes "were are we?" but as soon as his vison started to clear he said "oh we're home. well I guess it's time for the tour." he then tried to get up but in his attempt his left forleg broke in between the elbow and wrist joints as it bent in a 90 degree angle. he screamed in pain. "Shiacugon!" Durza scanned him and said "you wont be giving anything with those injuries. it's a merical you survived. about three dozen broken bones, several more fractures and a few cracks in your skull. It's a merical you're even consious. Quickly tell use were the medical supplies are." Nightshade gritted his teeth and said "their's a storage room in the back, the medical supplies are on the right." Durza nodded "Kronos I need you and Raclaw to go and get as much medical supplies as you can carry so we can make casts so his bones will heal correctly, while you do that I'll fix his external injuries to the best of my ability. now go!" hoping Kronos would have listened to him he begins breathing mistical white fire on Nightshade known as sacred fire and upon contact insted of burning Nightshade it began to heal his wounds.
