Fireflight stopped glowing.
"maybe.....but i still want to kill him!!"

'Maybe afterwards......unless we can stop him via another way.......'

"i'll wait before i try killing him........but i'd like to send him where belongs!!"

'Well, we'll have to find him first.....'

"well, that won't be hard.......Frostbolt can go anywhere he wants....and i can go wherever my heart wants to go...."

'Ok, but can i talk to Star first? Outside?'

Firefligh nodded her head. then Starfire went outside with Nightfire.
"what is it?" she asked.

'It's about your mum...'

"is something wrong?"

'Well, do you know Zenith poisoned that pool of water..?'

"what?!"

'Yes......but thats not the worst part...'

Starfire took a deep breath.
"go ahead......tell me......"

'Well.......according to my dad, its not the poison's existance thats bad, its how it acts.......'

"go on...."

'Well, at first, everything seems ok, and it goes on like that, then.......then when you least expect it......the victim, just......dies.....No signs, no warning, just death.......and no one knows how to cure it since it gives the death randomly......'

Starfire looked down. then she looked back up at him.
"is there any hope at all? or, are we pretty much screwed?"

'Unless we can convince Zenith.......i dont think there is hope....'

Starfire looked back down.
"then.......i guess we're pretty much screwed.......because i don't think he'll help us......" she said.

'Well, we can atleast try.......I dont want your mum dying.......'

"i don't either.........i would go and kill Zenith right now if we didn't need him....."

'Well, lets just try.......I think i know where he is anyway'

Starfire looked up at him.
"ok.......then lets go....." she said, standing up.

'Listen, i'll try talk to him.........ok?'

"ok......."

Nightfire began to walk to the entrance before turning round.
'Oh, one qeustion i've been meaning to ask......Are empaths all female or do they have males aswell?'

Starfire looked at him.
"most empaths are female......but they can be males...."

'Oh, ok then.....' He said, then continuing his walk.

Starfire then walked inside, and went to check on Fireflight.

'Where would Zenith be then?' Nightfire chuckled.
'Isnt it me who should be asking you?'

Starfire walked into Fireflight's room. she was reading several books.
"mom, what are you doing?"
"looking at books to try and cure the poision..."
"mom......listen......we may not be able to cure it......" she said. Fireflight closed the books and looked at her.
"Starfire.....don't say that....i'm going to find a way to save you....."
"well, what about you?"
"i don't care what happens to me.....i'm more worried about you...."
"mom, i don't think we can cure the poision on our own.......i think only Zenith can do that......."

'I guess so, but where do you think he is?'
'I would have guessed Scathfaldecscal.'

Fireflight looked down.
"i don't want help from him....."
"i know.....but it might be our only choice......would you rather kill Zenith and loose me, or have Zenith help us, and we live....?" she asked. Fireflight thought for a moment.
"i will keep you from dying.......i will make Zenith help us......then......i'm going to kill him for good!! i'm not going to let this happen again!!

Nightfire then walked back in the cave into Fireflights room.

Fireflight looked through the books. Starfire walked over to her.
"mom, it won't happen again........we won't let it happen........but we can't do it alone....."
"Starfire...........i lost you once.....i can't go through that again.......i failed once already.......please.....just let me do this......"

'Fireflight.........Zenith isnt like us, he never hatched from an egg........and even his name is different.......'

Fireflight still looked down.
"i don't care........i need to stop him.......before he hurts anyone else......"

'He's already made all of our lifes shorter, i mean mine and starfire's.......'

"i'm not loosing her again...........i can't............."
"mom......"
"no....Starfire.....go to your room please....."

"Starfire.....i can't handle this right now....just go...please...." she said. then Starfire went to her room.

Starfire paced back and forth in her room. she was worried about Fireflight. Fireflight looked at the books. she didn't find much that would help.
