It's been confirmed, by the same guy that broke Wednesday's Ninjini HTA news I mentioned earlier on this thread. The is batting 1.000 on release info so far. He is a TRU employee and said:

It's not you. It's the whole carp about not knowing when anything is being released and forced to check everywhere. Then you have others that scream "they're out!" (ie ZapNorris) when they are not creating an issue. I thinks its better to say, I just got these "skylanders" at where-ever and refrain from the claim of "they're out'. Good snag, though.

TRU item numbers are normally 5-6 numbers. I don't think I can check via UPC, but I will test it out.

Well, aren't I just a resourceful little devil.

I called TRU and had them look up the UPC, which brings up the item, so I then asked for the item number, since stores have it better looking for them that way.

Not two of the three I called. Trying to get the third to answer. Chances are it is either a case of employees putting them out early, or it's doing the token west coast moving east routine.

I am not sure about moving west to east, as on Ebay some are up for sale from KY and IL.

Yeah, I saw those listings just now. It's odd. I am guessing by next week, most stores will have them.

Well, we haven't seen Sunday's circular yet. Maybe the reason there's no HTA is that it was being withheld for a print ad. Either way, the figure is in no way date-restricted, so it's definitely time to start looking.

I dont count anything on ebay at this time given its most probably employees trying to get a leg up on the release. Like I said, if 10 or more forum members post pic of purchase, then its a release. One or two dont count as a release IMO.

Perhaps it's more practical and less polarizing to just say "Jade Flashwing is available in some Target retail locations in the USA right now, but not all/many, and full-scale availability is anticipated no later than March 17th."

I see more drama and whiners on here then anything, isn't this suppose to be a forum to help us fellow skylander fans/players out?

Point is if someone has a figure and there is no special promotion/event then it's out.. if you don't wanna agree then that's fine, but don't go posting over and over again trying to get an invalid point across!

Way too politically correct for me. They're out, and they don't need to be available to every person in the entire country for that to be true. I agree that it's a moot and silly debate, but I disagree that we need to appease everyone. In reality, folks just need to admit that there are released figures they can't get yet. They're not at my TRU or Target either, but I'm not deluding myself. L. LC Chill and Jade Flashwing are out right this minute, and can literally show up in anyone's store at any time now. That's the information people need to be taking away from this thread.

Legendary thing just does not do it for me...The colors are odd and Chill looks so much more epic in her normal colors (much less pretty much all of the other ones). However, I think jade flashwing is way cooler looking than regular flashwing.

Just skimmed the last couple pages for some info on the wave 4 release (of the S2 figs; Spyro, Wrecking Ball, Drobot and a few Lightcores)... I am grateful to 99% of the people who visit, use, post on this site. You have provided me with invaluable info specifically regarding when items are going to be released, etc.

However its that 1% that refuse to distinguish between being helpful and just glory hunting.

Check my past posts on other threads and you will see that I am constantly seeking items and when I find something someone would be interested I post it only after I can VERIFY its AVAILABLE. Thanks to this site I was able to be on top of the Eye and Thump search and was able to get them out the gate.

For me, to just cry out "They are out" when we have only ONE GUY lucky enough to get one is like yelling FIRE in a movie theater. You create a panic. A panic for that parent who wants to get that toy for his/her child and rushes out to find it because they didn't read all the posts and see that in THIS CASE only one guy has it. Most people probably take the time to read the posts but some might just skim and if they were unlucky to have read a ZapNorris post, dang! They'd think all the remaining characters are out.

NO, Tashiji, that's not right. All evidence points to the EXISTENCE of the items but NOT their AVAILABILITY and yes they need to be available to the majority to be considered out. If you told me the whole state of CA has it available. Well! I might consider it out that way but its not. Example, Molten Hot Dog: Whomever put that post indicating that it was available on the Walmart site did everyone a HUGE service. THANK YOU! I was able to get it ordered and not worry about hunting down store after store for it. Right now no Walmart near me has it, but is it out - YES. It is readily available but unfortunately not in my area.

Regarding Jade and L Chill - Oh, you say, its available in CA. Well, unless I missed something here, this ONE GUY (maybe one more) are the only ones to have bought it. And the Jade only the same guy. It is not AVAILABLE and therefore it is not out. What everyone should be focusing on is that there has been a SIGHTING and PURCHASE in CA and to be on top of their area stores to see WHEN they arrive.

I went to the Target near my office and the guy is tired of answering questions and as others indicated the stock number for regular Skylanders are all the same and there is no why to know which is which.

I don't give a carp if you or anyone agrees with me. I just angers me that some people are so desperate to be the one that breaks the news that it creates all this noise that makes it hard to distinguish fact from rumor, out from available. To nomad, who was lucky to purchase these items, you did great in posting your lucky find and I am grateful also because it gave me a chance to express my feeling about all this SPECULATION brought on by first, Activision for being so guarded about release dates and second by that 1%.

Yeah, we'll just have to agree to disagree here. I would caution people not to take stock in the idea that they can't get the figures though, because they've definitely jumped from the Netherlands and Canada to the continental US. There's no street date, no "do not sell before" in anyone's system, and they can indeed be purchased when found.

Darkbigdog i feel you're pain yes i know that figures being released with no hard date is a bummer and can make people crazy because no one knows when they will officially be out, i had no idea there were people here who post fake post or to get attention, my apologiese if it seemed that way, since i saw these figures my first reaction was its available! And to help people and parents here on this forum i posted what i found, i know to NOT post it as "there out" next time jut to be on the safe side
Now for some good news, guys go to target.com and look up jade flashwing, click on check store availability, type in 91352 ( yes i know that may not be your area) but now it shows 5 stores have her in stock, one would think this means she is starting to roll out , her dcpi is different from the other its
207-00-1147, untill their website shows shes in stock in you're area i guess shes not there yet, but she is a target exclusive and she has her own unique number

Target.com is not to be trusted regarding in store stock. I've gone for multiple items that were "in stock" at the store in my locale and they were nowhere to be found when I got there after target.com telling me otherwise. Be wary.

Yeah, that's why I've been calling Target everyday with the DPCI. However, the actual stores say the same thing as the website, which is none on hand.

And Tash, you mention figures jumping from the Netherlands, to Canada, and now here. Has someone posted American listings for Spyro and WB on Ebay or something. Does someone in NA have them inhand?

Now, I'm on board about Jade. Once you see more pop up like in FL, it shows a slow release similar to Eye and Thump, etc. When only one person has it, nope.

However, Legendary Chill is absent as of yet. Called my TRU contact-Nothing. Called other TRU-Nothing.

Like I explained above, I am trying to clear some of the "ZapNoise" from the facts.

For now, Jade is out in limited areas much like MHD last week. Thanks to nomad for the info. Good hunting all.

No, I'm referring to Jade Flashwing, who was also out in the Netherlands briefly before showing up on US shores.

Agreed. Its worrisome that there might be a stock problem like for Granite. I picked up Granite in December on someone's info that it was limited. I have not seen one since then.

I am in the Hampton Roads VA area. As soon as I see Jade, I will post location. If anyone lives in the same area, please post or PM me where it is.

I agree. If you already have a regular S1 Gill it will not help in the games. I got my green Gill buying a SSA starter set on Craigslist which included Trigger Happy, Spyro and Green Gill with portal and game for $25. If you do not have any of those characters (which at that time I didn't have), it might be a good investment. According to this website:

its still a decent price. Don't look too much at the prices because right now they have Ninjini at $227.50 for a new one and with her "out", that will drop dramatically. Take the info at face value and decide.

So its a matter of what you are seeking to get out of it.

I can tell you DarkBigDog I called the Target on Military Highway, Greenbrier Parkway, and Princess Anne and non of them have it.

I went to the Skylander site where all my toys are registered and he shows up as the regular gill. When you put Green Gill into the Giants game, he is registered as regular Gill with no color change. The same with theRed Drill Sergeant. The Gold Flameshooter from Amazon says special. All S2 GITD versions say special. The only things, I believe with look different are Legendaries and special variants like Gnarly Tree Rex and Granite Crusher.

If I'm wrong, someone please correct.

I just did the same brother. Add to those the Chesapeake Square Mall and Norfolk. We might something come Sunday (fingers crossed). I will say the employee at the Greenbrier was really thorough and he checked the shelves, PDA and in the back. Took him about 10 mins for all. Very uncommon but welcomed service.
