About encouraging spam, most of the members here are between 9-12 years of age, and they (no offense, but it's true) tend to be really random and LOVE to spam. Deleting the spam topic would wreck havoc upon darkspyro


So how can we make it better for the older users at the same time? :/


So far, I see that you're really the only one bothered by this. So, you can just ignore the stupid looking topics, or stay away from Stuff & Nonsense altogether. There you have it, problem solved.

Yes, it's good enough having dark52 to take care of the site when he has his own life to live, and now an animation, it would drain every last bit of his life to that, he's already doing to hard things, living his life (it is not easy boy) and managing the site (knowing that he wrote all and every part of this site in HTML code, no copies and no cheating, it's not easy boy)

How about a potion to turn off the smilies? An advanced one in your profile. So if you never really liked the smilies, you can turn them off and you'd never have to click the little button over and over again when you want to make another post.

I think it would be cool something like, you know that sub-links (like the ones shown in the right side menu, where it shows Forum, then it has the three sublinks under it? That are the kind of sub-links I mean, and it would be better if the link uppon it could have that gem figure, and then if we click in that gem figure it should show the sub-links, otherwise it wouldn't show the sub-links

I think the site is great the way it is. But if you need an idea, How about in the profiles next to the birthday and sig. put Fav. song, movie, or food. that sort of thing. Mabey it would eliminate some topics of the Best/Worst nature.

Just shooting some ideas around.

I think there needs to be more entertainment on DarkSpyro... So what about this idea:
When you try to add yourself to your friends list, I could say "Error: You cannot add yourself to your friends list. I.Q test: FAILED" or something like that to make people laugh.... What? I just think this forum needs to be more "happy"....

I was thinking of suggesting that too. But it takes some time to do. I'd offer to help but I don't have enough Know-How. And I only know some QBASIC.

But it would be cool if we could put stuff up for downloading. like fan art, icons, screensavers, wallpapers, even games. etc. like member contribution.

I've made a few games, but I have trouble making them work on other computers. I should start working on that again.

I was even thinking the cursor could change for this site. I've seen it a couple of times on other sites.

Just shooting another idea. I have no clue how much time this stuff takes out of Dark52's schedule.

Hows about a couple more DOTD Borders? Like at the top of the page where you choose a border from a Spyro game, why not make a couple more? Its just a suggestion tho so don't yell at me like most ppl do when I suggest something.
