Gabbriella wondered what she was hiding.
'Is it something from someone you love?'

Starfire paused for a moment.
"not from someone i love......from someone who loved me....."

'Oh... Why dont you show it me?'

"because.......the person who gave it to me.......died not long after i got it...."

'So why can't you show it?'

"its a long story.....i don't feel like getting into it....it means alot to me..."

'You dont want to lose it, do you?'

"thats not what i'm worried about........i'm sure its unbreakable....i used a fury once....and it surivived....."

'then why wont you show it?'

"its just.......it means alot to me....someone very close to me gave it to me.....and they died saving my life...."

'Oh....well... i can see why.... i'll leave you alone then...'

Starfire sat down. she revealed herself. she was purple again. her eyes were back to normal.
"its a stone.......someone wrote a message on it....and gave it to me..."

'Well.. if you don't want to... you don't have to show me...'

the stone then magically appeared in front of Gabbriella. Starfire didn't even know it was there. she had her back turned, and was looking away.

Gabbriella looked at it. She read the writing, then looked at Starfire.

the stone said: dear Starfire, i'm going back to my world to see my family. please don't think this is your fault. your not to blame. this isn't a plan to get you back. i won't be gone forever. i'll return when i feel the time is right. we've been friends since birth, and nothing can change that. i see now how much you really care for nightfire, and i won't come in between you two anymore. i may even find someone that i care for, but i doubt it. but, no matter what happens, we'll always be best friends. ~ Comet.
Starfire looked away.

'That's...... quite upsetting actually....' She said, resisting a tear.

"yeah.......he was a silver dragon......we were born at the same time....and instantly became best friends.....he was gonig back to his world...Silverrock...the home of the silver dragons....."

'But he was killed.... wasn't he?' She asked, with a tear running down her face.

"yeah......an evil dragon named Belthazor was trying to kill me....but Comet blocked the attack....and he got killed instead....before that...he came back rom his world...and told us that his family were under attack by dark dragons....we went there to help...but they had already killed his parents...then we went after Belthazor...."

'Im sorry for that....' Gabbriella said, walking beside Starfire.

"its ok.......it happened quite a while back.....i can't think about it now...or i'll get emotional again....." she said. then she slowly started glowing blue.

'Don't be sad...' She put her wing around Starfire.

"i can't help it.....he ws my best friend....we did everything together....and being an empath....we just get emotional over things like this....."

'Well... I can't help you.... But, don't be upset... think about the good things...' She said, still with her wing round Star.

"what good things? he loved me......but i broke his heart.....thats why he wanted to leave....i didn't feel the same way about him....."

'Well.... Everyone goes through times like that....'

OOC: I did...

"this was diffrent....he was my best friend....we'd know each other since the moment we were born....there wasn't ever a time we wern't happy being together....then things changed...."

'Well, being told you're not loved isn't easy to cope with... I wanted to be with someone... but because of my darkness... he heard who i was and said he'd never love me... even if was the last female left.... I did love him... like love at first sight really.... but... no.. he didn't.... It was my fault...'

"Comet was almost like a brother to me....i didn't love him in that way...."

'I'm sorry.... i can't help you....'

"well......its all in the past....theres nothing anyone can do about it...." she said. then she stopped glowing. the stone then disappeared, and went back to her old room.

'Well.... Anything like this... talk to me... okay?'

"ok....." she said.

Gabbriella smiled and began walking away.

Starfire smiled, and layed down to rest. Fireflight was still sleeping.

Gabbriella turned to open the door and walk out, but forgot it was lcoked and hit her face into it.

Star looked at her.
"you ok?" she asked.

Gabbriella held her nose and looked round.
'Yeah... im fine...'

"i can heal you if your nose is bleeding"

'No no... i'll be alright....'

"ok....just remember to unlock the door first....." she said. she wasn't trying to say she was stupid.

'Yes... i wil...' She said smiling. She unlocked the door and opened it.

"ok...." she said, smiling. "see ya..."

Frostbolt turned around in the cave. " hello?" he said coldy.

Another squawk came from the direction he was facing.

She smiled and left.

a cool breeze blew in frost's face.
"they left......" whispered a male voice.

frostbolt walked slowly tword the squaking.

Fireflight was sleeping. Starfire soon fell asleep.
