Kronos couldn't understand what was going on, but was pretty angry about everything occurring there.
"Alright now that does it! Who was that guy and why did he attacked?" he asked, demanding to know why they kept being persecuted without them provoking them in the first place.

Raclaw looked to Nightshade, trusting him to better explain the situation.

Nightshade looked back at them and said "I'll explain when we get back." and just kept moving. Durza sighed "I don't get what's going on but I can tell that Nightshade is hurting. as for who he was he claimed to be Nightshade's brother who murdered their parents and many others but I can tell their's more to it then that."

Kumara sighed. Although she somewhat respected Nightshade, she couldn't help but pity him. She knew he probably wouldn't want her pity, but even so, it must have been horrible for him. Unlike herself who ran away from her parents...
Shaking the concern and memories away, the dragoness growled. A late response to Reaper's comment about safety.

Nightshade stopped and looked back at Durza saying "your right, I don't feel the pain of losing my birth parents since they died before i even hatched, but he did kill someone very dear to me and for that i'll never forgive him." he then started heading back again without another word.

Kronos just shook his head, and cruelly simply replied.
"Come on now, we are here on a rescue mission, not to dispute on family matters." he said furiously, demonstrating that he didn't care on the misfortune of others and that he simply wanted to stay focused on his initial task.

Nightshade heard this and said "you misunderstand. he's no brother of mine." Durza glared at Kronos "Kronos! that was very rude."

Kronos simply turned his back, proving just what a naughty snob he was. He was a firm believer that the past should remain in the past, and that thinking about it simply won't get you any further in life.

Durza grew upset at Kronos's rudeness "fine be that way. have fun never hitting your target and sneezing ice for the rest of your life." and with that Durza started to move ahead to get away from Kronos.

"Kronos!," Raclaw said catching up to the dragon and overhearing the conflict. "Many consider the past to be important-- it shapes who we are and what we've become. You have to respect that, especially when loss is involved. When you lose someone you care about and when that someone is no longer around, that... that is not something you easily forget. And when you come across the very one who took your loved ones-- you cannot help but think back to it.," Raclaw said thinking back to the ones he had lost.

Kronos pretended to ignore Durza, but now it infuriated him to have drove him away. He had completely forgotten that it was he who offered to tutor him. He pretended that he didn't care though, and instead focused on Raclaw.
"Well my grandpapa taught me that if someone lingers on the past for too long, there will be no progress in the future. No matter how tragic it is, you must avoid to have it back to you, and that the only true thing you must remember about it is the mistakes that you made in order to avoid committing them again." Kronos explained, having taken all of his grandpa's lessons by heart. He usually didn't listen to anybody, but his grandpa was one of the few exceptions.

"Your grandfather is wise, but remembering the past can also aide you in your journey. It can give you encouragement or inspire you to do great things-- just as your grandfather's words still resonate in your words to this very day. I think back-- and my past is the reason I'm here. It's the reason I joined the dragon guards and the reason I'm on this adventure... right here and right now.," Raclaw replied speaking the truth. The death of his loved ones was what had encouraged to finally join and take charge of his life.

Durza smiled and said "you know Raclaw, for one so young you are quite wise." not even bothering to look back.

Kronos pretended to act indifferently, believing that Durza and Raclaw were simply twisting what his grandfather had taught him from the heart. It was hard to him to imagine why anyone would be too affected by a tragic past, considering he didn't have any. Asides from jealousy and bullying, Kronos have had a very happy life and a very stable family.

Kumara had nothing to say to the matter. She just took life as it came, although that didn't mean she didn't dwell on past experiences or mistakes.
"This group is so diverse in many ways..." She said to herself.

ooc: uh Durza is carrying Shade so he's already fallowing Nightshade.

Durza nods saying "he's right."

"Well, are we going to do this or what?" Kronos said determined to Durza, trying to make him forget his cruel rudeness earlier, though he was thinking that if Durza didn't forgive him, he could ask Raclaw to train him. He liked him better anyways.

Durza looked at him and said "you should be warned, my methods are strict and difficult. you must be able to focuse all of your strength if it is required of you. that and you must apologize to Nightshade, you are not my only student after all and I will not tolerate any issues that you or anyone else will give them. are we clear?"

Durza shrugged "i would have liked a chance for us to regroup and rest first but sure why not?" the last part he said sarcastically.

After the door appeared, Kumara looked confused, "ok, never seen that before..."

After the earthquake, and as they began to proceed, Kronos answered to Durza.
"I have dealt with bullies all my life. I think I can handle it." he said, sounding a bit cocky. He didn't like threats or warnings. He then pretended not to have heard the second sentence, since he never apologized to anybody.

"Well, if it is a test, then we should all concentrate on the task," Kumara said, hinting at Kronos and Durza to stop bickering and pay attention.
"We should all be on high alert."

Durza nodded "true but we need to be prepared. oh well." Nightshade had already gone in so when Durza looked for him he said "uhh, were did Nightshade go?"

Nightshade was the only one present when the orb appered "this is easy. too easy, it must be a trap." he said to himself.

A maniacle laugh echoed in the darkness "how right you are baby brother." Reaper appered infront of the orb "i must admite, you've gone ahead of scedual for me. I was hoping to hunt you a little before you came here, oh well. ether way you want this orb you can have it, IF you can beat me in a one on one fight." NIghtshade was fixed in a fighting stance growling loudly in challenge.

Reaper acted fast using his scythe to stop himself and only landed a few yeards away from were he stood "i could care less about you, you stupide piece of glass. now where were we."

Nightshade glared at the orb "do it and I will destroy you. Reaper is mine to kill and mine alone. I vowed that if I ever found Sora's killer I would put an end to their life. and that is just what I intend to do. so back off!" Reaper smiled "yes if you hadn't noticed, this is a family matter you're interfering with so please mind your manners and stay out of it."

Nightshade grew angrier "fine! just stay out of it!"

Now Kronos believed when they were told that the place was dangerous. Everything around seemed lIke they wanted to capture or kill them. Knowing that without control of his powers he was going to be useless, he simply stayed put.

ooc: i'm gonna wait for everyone else since the only ones in the temple are Reaper and Nightshade and what I have planned needs everyone present to see it happen.

Kumara became too impatient, deciding to enter the hall. She used her dark energy to hide in the shadows unseen.

"I think he went through there.," Raclaw said motioning towards the hellish portal responding to Durza.

Durza nodded "ok. Kronos I need you to come with me."

"Don't worry... we're all in this together. I'll be right by your side.," Raclaw said just in case Kronos was hesitant.

"Wait, why me?" he asked, not having heard Raclaw. That couldn't be a test, since they were already in genuine danger.

Durza looked at him and said "because we need our numbers like you said earlier. besides we wont be going in alone, everyone else will be joining us."

Kronos understood, but felt odd that finally, a suggestion of his was taken into consideration. He prepared his mind and heart for what was ahead though, and even without any training, he vowed to do good on his very first mission.

Raclaw smiled as Kronos' confidence rose and soon entered the portal-- alongside the others.

upon entering they see Nightshade circling Reaper looking for an opening to attack. Durza tried to intervene but before he could Nightshade shouts "Do not interfere! This Is my fight!"

Kronos felt like he should have interfered, but then he would just be in the way like earlier. Without training, he knew he wasn't going to be of help to anybody.

ooc: ok you know in DBZ when Hercule attacks Cell and Cell sends Hercule flying? this is going to be similar to that.

Nightshade charges Reaper and just before Nightshade made contact Reaper swiftly struck him sending Nightshade into a wall leaving a huge crater in the wall that's like 6 or 7 feet in radius. Nightshade was out cold. Reaper sighed "pitiful. and here I thought you would be much stronger then that baby brother. oh well, who's next." Durza stepped forward and as he approached Reaper Reaper attacked, his scythe a blur he created several slashes on Durza's body and chopped his head off! Durza's body fell over on its side in a heap. Reaper then looked at Kronos and charged him going for the kill but when he was half way their something grabbed hold of his scythes blade "what the!?" he looked to see Durza's headless body holding the blade in place and to Reaper's horror he watched as Durza's wounds healed before his very eyes he saw his head growing back like when Greed's head grew back in Full Metal Alchemist (I forget if it was regular or brotherhood that showed more detail when Greed's head grew back).
