'Ah... now that's a good reason... But can you prove it?'

"the vision pool showed us what happened!!"

'No, it showed Nightfire what happened... you never saw a thing..'

"you have no proof of that....how do you know if i saw it or not?"

'Because i know from Nightfire... i can read him like a book...'

"i still know what happened......and, you may think you know him...but, theres one thing you don't have....his love....i have it, not you....and, you know what? you never will!"

'Really? I know exactly what he's doing at any point... He has weak mind... So i can see and hear what he does... There's nothing he does that i don't know of...'

"havn't you ever heard of a little thing called 'privacy'?! with my powers, i could easily read his mind, and feel what he feels...but i don't...do you know why? because, i repsect him....if he wanted me to know every single thought and feeling he has, he would tell me...i don't need to know about every single little thought that is in his mind...if theres something he doesn't want me to know, then i won't try to find out what it is...as long as its not a bad thing, or something that concerns both of us, or our daughter, i don't need to know...i trust, and respect him...and, i love him more then anything...thats all that matters..."

'Ah... but i only do it when i feel i need to... You still don't have proof i did it. After all, how do you know i couldn't have made Nightfire see that?'

"then your already making this worse for yourself...i'm mad enough as it is, and i can already see that your going to end up making me lose my temper. so, i should probally just attack you know, so i don't have to waste time waiting for you to piss me off more"

'I wouldn't...'

"yeah, well, you've already made some mistakes....wheather you made Nightfire do anything or not....you still pissed me off either way...and, thats a big mistake all by itself...everyone should know by now that pissing off an empath is never a good thing to do...just about everyone knows that we lose our tempers very easily, and tend to use powerful furys on whoever made us mad...so, if you value your life...you probally don't want to make me mad...and, i'm already glowing, so it won't be too much longer now, untill i really lose my temper..." she said. she was slowly becomming a solid blood red color.

She grinned.
'Go on then...'

Starfire walked closer. with each step, she became more blood red. she then grabbed her by the neck, and pinned her to the wall. she glared at her with blood red eyes. then, she turned a solid blood red color.
"times up..." she said, in a dark, angry voice.

'MUM!!!' Shouted a scared voice from behind. Nightfire looked.

Starfire heard someone, but ignored them. blood red fire covered her body. she raised her tail, and put her tail up to Naomi's throat.

A hatchling grabbed hold of Star's neck and began attacking.

Star just grabbed the hatchling, and sent it away. once the hatchling was sent far away, Starfire used a rage fury on Naomi.

Naomi quickly dodged and ran to the hatchling.

Starfire used her powers to ring Naomi back to her, and she sent the hatchling far away. then Star grabbed Naomi by the neck once more. then she used a more powerful rage fury on her.

Naomi slowly collapsed.

Starfire looked down at her.

Naomi barely glared at Nightfire.

Starfire glared at her. then she stabbed her with her tail.

Naomi winced, then looked back. Nightfire was then pinned to the wall struggling to breathe, but no one held him.

Starfire looked at him. she then started chanting a spell to free him of whoever or whatever was hurting him.

Nothing happened. Naomi pushed her paw harder into the ground where she was. Nightfire now couldn't breathe.

Starfire noticed what Naomi did. she figured she had something to do with it. then she stabbed her again. she then chanted a diffrent spell, to help Nightfire breathe.

Nothing was working. Naomi grew weaker, but she pressed down harder as she weakened.

Starfire grabbed her paw. she then grabbed a dagger, and cut her paw off. she then chanted more spells to help Nightfire.

Naomi screamed at the pain, but Nightfire still was being held. He was begining to lose consciousness.

Starfire hit Naomi on the head, knocking her out. then she ran over to Nightfire, and tried healing him, while she used her tail, and attacked the space in front of Nightfire, thinking something invisible could be there.

Nightfire remained held high. Naomi was barely awake.

Starfire then grabbed Nightfire, and teleported back to Fireflight's cave.

'I'm not done.... just... yet..'

Starfire layed Nightfire down, gently, in the room Nightstar was in. she told her parents everything that happened, and asked them to watched both of them. then, Starfire teleported back to Naomi.

Naomi had her eyes shut. The hatchling was nudging her, it had tears in its eyes.

Starfire started chanting a spell to calm down the hatchling.

Nothing was working on it.

Starfire started chanting a diffrent spell to make the hatchlings pain go away.

The hatchling looked round, then went close to Naomi.
'You... You! You killed her!'

Starfire had returned to normal. she looked at the hatchling.
"actually, my anger did" she said, calmly.

'No! She's dead because of you!'

"she should have known better to mess with an empath....besides, i could use magic to bring her back if i wanted to.."

The hatchling stared at her in anger before jumping up and attacking her again with it's sharp claws.

Star grabbed the hatchling. then she set her down in front of her.
"sorry, kid, but your not ready to fight anyone yet. but, i can't just leave you here alone..." she said. then she looked at Naomi. she then started chanting a ressurection spell. she also chanted a spell to change Naomi into a nicer, good dragon. then Starfire disappeared.

Neither had worked.

Starfire was watching through the vision pool it was actually working for a change. Starfire then used her powers to make a clone that looked exactly like Naomi, and acted like her as well. then, in a blink of an eye, she swaped the clone for the real Naomi. the clone opened its eyes, and looked at the hatchling.

The hatchling looked.
'No... you're not her!'

the clone got up, and looked at her.
"what do you mean little one?" it asked. it sounded exactly like Naomi.
