Got the new swappers this morning in Harrisburg, PA. Just have to say: wow, they sure did break out the industrial glue for this set of packaging, huh?

Yeah, it stunk trying to open them without completely destroying the box.


Well, I randomly decided on buying a Green Rip Tide, and I got one for $60!

Well, it was $110, but I had a $50 gift card.

Might be getting 3 very early prototypes of Drobot, Spyro, and Lightning Rod.

It was a big shot to the wallet, but I'd personally say that it's very worth it.

What part of Texas? I have been trying to get them but my two Targets close to me don't have them. I was told last friday that one of the store had two boxes and would be putting them out on Sunday when they were scheduled to be released but when I showed up on Sunday when they opened they didn't have any out nor did they have them in the back. Very frustrating dealing with the electronic department when they have no clue what a Skylander is in the first place.

Although my husband is excited for me, I don't have anyone else to share this with but you guys -

I just got Color Shift Wash Buckler!

I focus on in-game variants, but when I find a non in-game variant at the used bookstore I snag it.

This particular character I had COMPLETELY written off as an "I will never ever get to own" because of how you had to get it (I lucked out, for christmas I got the dark starter pack, the regular ole wii u starter and the 3ds starter so I have all the exclusive starter characters this time around)
and then... I walked into Bookmans and someone had dumped the ENTIRE swap force starter pack that came with the Wii U bundle - must have found the bundle on black friday or something for cheaper than the plain Wii U - and right in the middle of the case was a $50 Color Shift Wash Buckler

And I just happened to have $40 in trade credit and a 20% off teacher's discount!

Here he is! Sitting on my shelf!

You guys remember how I said I got Smolderdash by mail?

My dad get me LC Smolderdash as a surprise when he got home today.

It broke his heart when I told him I got it by mail, but he said we can exchange it later.

I'm happy he took the time out to get me it, but sad that it was a duplicate.

EDIT: I decided to keep it since it was special to me.

I know this the clear came from overseas in a bundle package. Their was some sort of promotion to get it free some how or way. My guess was a bundle deal through Amazon.de or Amazon.It. It does not matter anyway. People with secrets should just keep their secrets.

I read an article that it was like a mega bundle like best buy has for sale. I can't recall where I saw it but it was listed and there were snapshots of it and foreign language that I could not make out. But it showed a bundle that came with 4 or 5 figures with it and crystal whirl wind was one in with the pics. I wish I had saved that now. Sorry I can't be much more help than this. I don't know if it was a swap force bundle or a skylanders bundle but it was blue and white.

Found green versions of Riptide, Chop Chop and Scorp at Wal-Mart yesterday (01/02/14). They had one of each, but all of them were buried behind other figures in the stand-alone cardboard display in the aisle just outside of the electronics section.
