Torru swam through the swamp. He floated to the surface, paddled towards a log and sat upon it. He immediately turned human, the loss of the enchanting swamp-muck made him shift back into his 'normal' form. He grunted and raised a hand to wipe some mud from his chin. His green eyes filled with darkness. He pulled his katana from his swordpack. He threw it, slicing open the log beneath him.

Shadow saw movement in the swamp he came closer seeing a ripple.

Torru turned back into his croc form and smelt something. He slowly swam into some nearby reeds, to turn human again. Torru grasped for his sword. He crouched down and crawled towards the smell.

Shadow looked at the water with curiosity "Must just be my imagination..." He muttered a s he turned his back.

"Well.. Why don't you apologize? Maybe then, y'all can not fight again, or at least, not fight over this" Jay said

Serge nods. He trots to Xander slowly.
"Xander. I'm sorry. You're my best friend who's always been by my side and you mean the world to me. I'm sorry for killing your father. If I had known, I would have killed Drake instead."

Xander slightly chuckles, a grin playing at the corners of his mouth.
"Apology accepted Serge."

"BREAKTHROUGH!!! YAY!!" Jay says walking over to Serge and Xander, giving them a group hug

Torru snuck around the back of Shadow. Slowly, swiftly, he followed him.

Shadow sat down, yawned and then leaned his back against a tree with his eyes closed.

Xander laughed at Jay's comment.

Serge smiled.
"Thanks for the help, Jay."

Torru crept behind the tree and silently climbed it. He stood on a branch and watched the other person below him. He lowered his katana and slid down a vine.

One of Shadow's eyes popped open he glanced around then closed his eyes again.

"It was nothing" Jay said smiling as she pet Xander and Serge.

Xander smiled as Jay pet him. He had been used to hanging around humans so he was used to Jay petting him. Serge slightly growled, as he had lived alone, but he tolerated the petting.

Jay heard the growling and smiled "Get used to it" She said with a smile as she pat Serge's head gently.

Serge offered a smile and Xander laughed.

Jay laughed slightly as she stopped petting the two guys.

Serge morphs to his human form and so does Xander.

Jake walked over to where Serge, Xander, and Jay were. "... What just happened here?" Jake asked

Torru dropped onto the ground. He stood in front of the sleeping person. There were other lifeforms here? He hadn't seen others for many months.

Xander laughs.
"It's a long story. To make it short, Jay helped Serge and I so we didn't tear each others throats out."

Shadow twisted and turned.

Torru gently poked Shadow with the tip of his sword.
"Who are you?" He asked.

"Oh, well that's good" Jake said nodding

Serge nods and Xander smiles.

Jay laughed a little "so are you used to the volcanoes yet?" Jay asked jake

"HAHA NOPE!!" Jake shrieked.

Serge grinned.
"Maybe if we dragged him to the top of one he'd change his mind." he said mysteriously.

"Heh... Please don't" Jake said

Jay laughed

Xander folds his arms and smiles.
"Come on. You're so afraid of well...EVERYTHING. You're like my sister."

"You have a sister!?" Jay and Jake said at the same time.

Shadow awoke and saw Torru. "The name's Shadow."

"Shadow. Well, greetin's, Shad'er. Me name be Torru." The crocodile man said.

Shadow slowly nodded "And what are you?" He asked.

Xander looked at them both in turn.
"Yes I have a sister. Why do you both sound so amazed?"

"It's just shocking" Jake replied

Xander cocks his head.
"Why's it shocking?"

"You don't seem like the kind to have a sister" Jake shrugged

Xander laughs.
"She's all human, but she's my sister."

"Me? Oh, I be a pirate crocodilian. I dunno really what I be, but I know I am a Crocodile. Born a human, then somehow transformed...Don't ask what happened." He seemed puzzled himself.

"Alright..." Shadow said.

"That's... Interesting" Jake said, slightly puzzled.
Jay was standing silently in the background.

Xander looks at Jake and laughs.
"I never told you. My father was a fox demon and my mom was a human. My sis was all human like my mom, and I was part fox demon like my dad, part human like my mom."

"So...yeah, what you be, Shadow?" The croc-man asked.

"Just a human." Shadow said with shrug.

"Well, somethin' normal, ye are then. At least there's proper life, not half-half life." He sighed.

"I don't really consider myself lucky..." Shadow said.

"Ye should be. It's painful transformin', for me, anyway. But I 'spose it's easier to hunt as a creature." Torru answered.

Shadow chuckled at Torru' s remark.

"Oh... Cool" Jake said with a nod.

"Yeah...that's about the only cool thing. Plus you can swim underwater for hours!" He giggled and withdrew his sword.
