Emir watched the two from above Ooh... This got interesting She thought as she watched then

Regeil noticed Emir, realizing that she was watching them. He mentally berated himself. Urk! Should've been more careful...I need to start noticing these things. He flew up to her steadily from the side. "Spying now, are we?"

"Eavesdropping really" Emie said chuckling a little

"I... I want to believe you, but can I? We havn't known each other long, And I... I just dont know. I never really thought about it until now. I... I have to go. I'm suppost to be on prison duty." Jade lifted off the ground, and flew steadily off towards ShadowFlame territory.

"Is that so?" Regeil smiled a little. "Do you know any towns with libraries nearby?" He asked.

"If I did I would have been there by now" Emie sighed

Zen watched as they ignored him and noticing Jade flying off was beginning to go in pursuit

ooc: So whaddya want Jackson? What devious backstory have Zen and Regeil shared?

"Disappointing. And I'm honestly surprised you haven't attacked me yet." Regeil said sincerely. He sighed. "Getting away was surprisingly much easier than I expected. Yeesh...."

"Why would I atta- Oh you're a ShadowFlame huh... Well I don't attack every dragon I see" Emie said to Regeil

"Hmph. Most FlashFires would be vying to get a chance to kill a pure ShadowFlame. Now that I've gone rogue, I need to get away before I'm caught...by either team...." He muttered then looked away. "Well, I must go and find a map. Goodbye uh....I never caught your name...."

"Emeressa, Or Emie for short" Emie said as she looked at Regeil

"Alright then." He blushed slightly embarrassed. "Goodbye Emie." He bowed his head slightly.

Emie bowed her head in return with a small smile "Good luck with not getting caught" Emie said

After a quick nap, Beryor woke up. Hunger struck him, but his scales were back in place. A quick dive and some fish later, his hunger was subdued - but he wanted better meat. He took off into the air, searching for more.

From a distance, Beryor noted the two dragons he saw previously - one taking off, the other still on the ground. He thought he saw some others too. With any luck, he'd be successful this time. Landing, he crept into cover, waiting for his chance.

"I have to go..." Jade turned and dashed away, towars ShadowFlame territory. From a distance, sparks and electricity were visible on her wings.

"Hiya!" squeaked a voice behind Emie.
She was that tiny, black and purple dragonling, Cosmii. She had, apparently, grown tired of her duty(and sneaking around) and decided to approach up-front.
Her bright yellow eyes-- which regained the childish glint that nearly all FlashFires recognized-- darted between Regeil and the white and blue dragoness.
"Who's your friend?"

"Hey... I actually never caught his name..,"Emie said chuckling a little as she looked embarrassed

Well, Beryor thought, another foolish dragon learning to trust others and getting burned for it. He felt a pang of sympathy for the heartbroken dragon. So long ago, he had trusted people too... they condemned him when he stood up for himself in a most brutal faction. Exiled...

He engaged his active camouflage and crept into what he felt would be a good position - he could still smell blood. He got ready to pounce...

"Well, she didn't do you a whole lot of good now, did she?" He disengaged his camouflage. He would have plenty of opportunity to kill this dragon later, he felt. For now, an opportunity to feed on pain similar to his own was too good to pass up.

"I'm right behind you. You trusted her, developed feelings for her... and she just ripped them apart." Beryor observed the dragon to see what his response would be. "What good did protecting her do you? She abandoned you, left you vulnerable while destroying your feelings... and you have me here still. I'm good as new, you still have wounds... and she's gone. Who would save you if I wanted to kill you?"

OOC: Legend is boring, so I shall kill him off later.

Jade flew with tears in her eyes. "I didn't know he felt that way about me." Jade had to get to ShadowFlame territory, fast. She was going to make a diffrence in this war for once. For Icestorm's sake. She would go to her prison duty, but not to guard, no. She was going to set the prisoners free. Every last one of them. And she knew for a fact that she will die in the process.

Beryor laughed haughtily. "Really? You're still going to waste your time? Pathetic... I've lived for so long and have been so successful because I don't trust anyone, or do anything for anyone unless they pay me to. The FlashFires rejected me, the ShadowFlames tried to corrupt me... but watching them murder each other is so satisfying. I don't take any side but my own - I thrive off the chaos. This war can go on forever for all I care - or until they kill each other off. I don't know who you align yourself with, but you'd be wise to live for yourself, not for those who would break your trust and desert you."

So much pain... if this mentail anguish was made physica, it would be enough to drive him into a murderous frenzy. Perhaps that was why he chose to spare this dragon for now - sympathy? Bah, so weak... Maybe things would be different right now if he didn't eat fish.

Elicora finished her battle and flew back to ShadowFlame territory to see Icestorm

Jade flew immediately to the courtyard, where most ShadowFlames rested and gambled treasure with each other. She walked past them, and down into a tunnel, leading to the prisons.

Jade quickly told the guards she would take the shift. The guards did not question her, and left in a hurry. She immediately grabbed the code from the locking mechanisms and started unlocking cages, full of confused dragons.

Elicora growled as she flew down to Icestorm "And what do you thing you're doing here" Elicira said rudely

"What do you think you're doing here!?" Jade almost yelled, finishing the last few cages. Dragons fled through the back exit.

" I did what I have always wanted to. And you have to get out of here! How did you not get caught?!" Jade asked.

Elicora walked into the prison room. "Oh... This should be interesting when I tell the others..." Elicora said as she saw what was going on

"Oh great, the snitch." Jade said irritated.

"What did you say?" Elicora said as she fazed into a shadow and snuck up behind Jade

Zen approached the Jail, something wasn't right and he could guess something has happened, as luck would find it Jade and her friend were setting free dragons and Elicora. Through he wouldn't doubt Elicora's fighting he did worry about her safety and ignored the prisoners going free...besides half of him was glad they were going to be set free

OOC: Know what? If we still don't have a leader for ShadowFlames guess I can make Zen it, if it's alright with you

Regeil blinked as he floated over the border between FlashFire and ShadowFlame. It would be wise to stay away from the battlefield, and I don't know FlashFire territory that well. ShadowFlame territory, I could possibly blend in a bit more. Yes...that's probably where I should go. He made up his mind and flew onward, frowning quizzically as he saw Jade fly past followed shortly by that moon-gazer. The look on that dragon's face...... "Pahahaha!" Priceless! Regeil grinned. It just looked...so silly. He looked like a half-drunk wyvern flying sideways trying to woo Jade like that. As much as he'd like to slap some reality into that so-called know-it-all, Regeil still had other things to look out for and....well, well, speak of the devils themselves. Here comes a ShadowFlame patrol aiming right toward him. Regeil unsheathed his claws, studying his opponents quickly from afar. The only one he really had to watch out for was their leader. The others were merely bloodthirsty drakes with no real grasp on finely tuned arial combat.

Emie was to busy day dreaming to realize she was falling to the ground. "Figures..." Emie thought aloud as she crash-landed to the ground. Luckily she only bruised her leg and could still fly, so all good there.

Elicora looked at Jade with a sly smile

OOC: Yes keep the friendship, lets just make it after said incident at some point of time after your character escaped, Mine took over

He didn't start the war, but as time grew over he felt more lost and when the events of horror past him he resolved to change this world. It wasn't easy overtaking the Shadowflames but when he challenged him that day he was the only one to emerge..there was many scars and cuts from what appears to of been a brutal battle...but not as much as done to his sanity. He was more aggressive then before and why he snapped at that dragon he briefly fought eluded him..regardless after this event he would go back to his tower and rest. regardless he snapped back to reality

"Elicora! Stand down, let the traitor and whelp go...I was going to terminate this jail anyway"

After watching the dragon depart, Beryor began wandering again. He sought more chaos to take advantage of...
