If anyone lives in London or is going there over half term in the UK, make sure you check out Hamleys. From today, they've put out a Mega Bloks Skylanders window display, that according to the press release, includes 'spring/summer sets'

So Mega Bloks have confirmed that they will definitely be making sets for Swap Force! Which is awesome, they also mentioned an October release date for the game so the toys will probably hit around christmas.

Toywiz and Badasstoys have the single packs (Jet Vac with Cowboy hat, etc) and the wave 2 building sets (Flameslinger/Tank and Eye Brawl/Zepplin) as coming out in March.

BAT says the wave 2 portals are coming in May where Toywiz has them as March. I hope Toywiz is correct, but they rarely are.

Just got my first Skylanders Mega Bloks set, Dark Spyro's Battle Portal at Target today. Worth the price, and it's very fun to play. Will post some pics tomorrow for some of you wondering if you should purchase or not.

Finally got the last set I needed; Arkeyan Copter Attack. Not bothering with the repaints or sets with hats, so apart from those, my wave 1 collection is complete

Just film with your iPhone on it's side so that the footage is in wide-screen. If you film upright, like you did, than the pictures's going to be upright too.

Well, I snagged the Mini character packs off of eBay. $27 for the 1st 4, not a bad deal!

The Metallic Spyro, Translucent Bash, Trigger Happy and Jet Vac with Cowboy Hat figure packs.

Cool, I didn't know they were out yet.

Edit: Found Badasstoys's listing for these. It's tempting but I'll wait until they hit retail. The only new character is Bash and I'm not a huge fan of the trans blue version. If they had the Flameslinger tank or Eye Brawl Zeppelin Attack sets, now that would be impossible to resist.

I'll be getting me a mega bloks eb! He's my favorite giant and I love the detachable eye.

I also just saw an ad featuring the series 2 battle portals and Eye Brawl! I can assume they should be out soon. I might be going to target to get Thursday, I'll look then.

None of the online stores show anything other than the new single packs (Cowboy Hat Jet Vac, Blue Bash, etc) as being instock and available right now. But who knows, maybe you'll be the first to find them.

Found these in my local fred meyers, picked up trigger happy for myself and the Jet Vac for my 7 year old brother.
The base pieces can fit together in a couple of ways, Trigger Happy doesn't have his smaller guns, but the weapons are exchangeable.

I never had the other trigger happy minifig, so I don't know if it also had a hole in the back to plug in backpacks like Jet Vac's weapon.

A picture of a well-lit translucent Blue Bash would be wonderful as well. The regular Blue Bash truly glows on the Portal of Power.

Yeah, all of these new Mega Bloks bases kind of connect together. They're not attachable, but the way the base is designed means it's easy for them to slot next to each other.
