Vicious lizard guards patrol the corridors armed to the teeth and each with a salamander sorcerer.

Within minutes of grabbing me a the alarm is sounded and the sound of dozens of footsteps can be heard. The gates close sealing me and the others inside the castle. A magic barrier forms around the place preventing all magic from being used to escape. Lizards begin the swarm the area their eyes flickering with rage.

Hundreds of angry lizards search the place for me and my friends that have come to rescue me.

"Shh." Shadow continued to manipulate the shadows, barely having enough to keep them hidden "Try not to move." She whispered.

The wall behind them moves and scaly arms seize the group. I scream in fear as a giant monitor grabs me. The lizards bind the group together with chains.

"Take them to the king, I, he says stroking me gently, causing me to unexplainingly relax, will take care of our prince," he say smiling.

In celestia's castle,ice golem rush to visit cadance."shining armor and gary has been capture by army of lizard and you do it fast to send alots of royal guards right now"ice golem said."ice golem,what so rush?"rarity and candance said.

My sisters turn toward ice golemn.

"Be cautious these lizards are far more numerous than you think. Even with all our guards we could not hope to take the palace. However these lizards are being led by a Basilisk who is no longer in control due to the fact that whoever was behind Astrello's kidnapping removed him from power and replaced him with a Monitor lizard named Algor. Their true leader will speak to us and agree to release the others as well as our brother, once we have dealt with whoever it is that has been manipulating the elders and removed the traitor from power."

Shadow struggled a little, then gave up, scowling

"Algor?I haven't see unknown lizard"ice golem said

"You'll know him when you see him Ice Golem, his eyes are golden like the sun but his entire body is black like the night. Algor is not the true leader but the general of the one behind the kidnapping. Find the kidnapper and you will find the way to free the others and our brother, the sisters say. We will accompany you, but be warned we shall find ourselves on even ground when we face the enemy. They are fierce and vicious warriors with their own powerful spellcasters, salamanders."

Meanwhile in the castle, the lizards lay the group beside a large black monitor with golden eyes. He is surrounded by salamanders of all colors.

"Don't worry my friends you won't become lizards at all. In fact my men shall escort you back to Equestria, but I'm afraid I cannot give you Astrello. My lord and master forbids it." With that the group of angry lizards smile. "Come it is time you returned home," they say smiling. The group is freed of their chains as soon as they are outside of the castle. The lizards take them to the palace before politely bowing. Take care my dear pony friends, if you seek aid to free your prince, it is a masked stranger that you seek. Within the depths of the Everfree Forest there is one who can help you find the one you seek. Her name is Zecora and the one you seek is another from her homeland, his name is Zeldral." With that they take off and return to their leader.

In fact that magnificent palace of yours and the mighty underground that is your base would be highly appreciated as a safe haven for us when darkness falls on land. Do you accept our propos... They all begin to glow like a rainbow and their magic does its work. Soon towering over the other buildings of Ponyville there is the mighty palace of the salamander and their underground sanctuary for all that need it. Heavily armed lizards with skin like stone stand before the gate, while fierceom serpentine archers patrol the battlements. The salamander commander bows before walking over to Shadow. He and his men that politely bow to all of then before returning to the palace.

Back at the palace of the leader of the Reptilian Alliance I am chained to the throne. I lay down beside it and sigh. The Monitor gently strokes me bringing relief and relaxation. He smiles as he runs his claws through my mane. "Such a beautiful prize you are Prince, you are a priceless treasure that I tend to protect and care for. Now are you hungry, my little prince, he asks stroking my chin. I nod and he motions for some of his men to get food. They return with a tray of food and water. The Monitor takes the food and places it on his lap while he places the water and a cup beside him. Would you like a drink or water first, he asks. Chain rattle as I point my hoof in the direction of the water. The monitor removes a necklace around his neck and removes the muzzle. There that's better isn't it. I don't need to worry about you casting spells anymore. You are far too weak after the ruthless punishment that my master did to you for defying her and refusing to obey. Cold sweat runs down my body as I a allow the Monitor to lift my head and slowly pour water down my parched throat. Cup after cup is slowly administered down my throat. Then he slowly feeds me while stroking me with his free hand. After eating and drinking I look up at Algor. Swallowing and taking a weak bow I speak.

"Thank you," I say weakly. Algor smiles and strokes me with his right hand. "You're welcome little prince. Now you must rest I will invite your friends to see you, but they must promise not to try anything stupid for I may seem alone but "The Unseen" are always watching me. Plus my guards the Stone Lizards are not people you want to mess with." I nod and slowly fall asleep. The snake queen slithers over and drapes a blanket over me before slithering over to Algor. "Allow me and my sssoldiers to ssspeak with hisss friendsss. Alssso you may want sssomeone to examine your prizzze. He isss very sssick," she says with sincerity and concern. Algor nods. I know he has been looking like this for a while, my doctors have done all they can, but nothing can slow the draining away of his strength. Only when all his friends and family are here does the aliment seem to be kept at bay. I fear that our master has gone back on their word and harmed the prince, cursing him with powerful dark magic. My doctors will examine him later while he sleeps perhaps they will find the mark that they fear, the Rinwil. However right now he needs his family and friends. The Stone Lizards pound their chests and glare at the royal guards, while the royal guards snort and glare at the lizards. Algor however, along with his ambassador walk through the ranks of his warriors and that of my sisters and Shadawn's. The ambassador a small gecko swallows and speaks directly to my sisters as well as my friends. "Algor invites all of you to stay in the palace with Astrello, who has become gravely ill. Know this though, if any one of a group tries to run with his majesty's treasure, the little prince, all privileges of seeing him will be revoked. Also if any one or a group tries to attack his majesty or any of his men, while under his hospitality, they will will suffer the Rite of Ragnal. A free tour, free lodging, food and drink will be provided." All shiver as they hear the threat to the Rite of Ragnal, but are quickly back to reality when they hear I am gravely ill. Shadawn's eyes burn with anger. Before my sisters can do anything he attacks. Algor and Shadawn fight while the Stone Lizards engage his guards. Algor calls out to the gecko. "Tell Queen Sinestra what has happened and tell her that she and her men are to protect the little prince at all costs." The gecko nods and rushes off only to be stopped by a tall hulking form, its Shadawn. His eyes are burning with rage and his tackles the gecko to the ground. "No one leaves until I say so, he says firmly. The captain of the guard struggles against Algor, the monitor lizard is not general for nothing. Shadawn's captain of the guard falls to the ground bleeding with Algor standing over him ready to kill him. All around Shadawn are his fallen guards are badly wounded and surrounded by the Stone Lizards with their claws and jaws dripping with blood. Before any killing occurs my sisters speak.

"Stop, enough there is no need for unnecessary bloodshed. We accept your terms. Now lead us to Astrello, it has been so long since we have seen him. Algor nods and the Stone Lizards offer their claws to fallen stallions. However Shadawn and his men snort angrily and help themselves to their feet. With whinny of anger, Shadawn speaks. "Mark my word lizard, if you have hurt Astrello, I will not rest until your entire kingdom lies in ruins. This I swear by the Code of the Fallen and the breath of all of us." The warriors whinny in agreement and with a burst of flame they and Shadawn are gone. Algor glares at Shadawn and then turn to my sisters as he vanishes. "You should be more careful with your choice of friends, he says. Shadawn, King of the Fallen is not to be trusted!" This time it is my sisters' turn to get angry. "You know nothing about Shadawn and his people. They ask for nothing and do so much in return for friendship. They have put all their time and effort into finding our little brother. I suggest keep your forked tongue behind your teeth Algor when talking about Shadawn and our decision of friends, after all it is you that holds our brother," they say their nostrils flaring. The royal guards glare at the Stone Lizards ready to fight.

Algor frowns as Shadawn returns alone. He is heavily bandaged and unable to fly. He stands beside the Princesses supported by two of the royal guards. "I'm surprised you came alone King, he says with disgust, trying to prove to your allies that you..." He stops as he sees the princesses glare and not having any magicians of his own, he dares not anger them. He leads them to the gate and him and his men vanish.

The bright blue lizards at the gate smile and open the gates. "Welcome to Faldraedin!"

The guard at the gate turns and speaks to Gary.

"Stone Lizard(Known as Baeser) is leader of the Stone Lizards, a race of reptilian warriors that have no equal in hand-to-hand fighting. Those guards that came with Algor,were Stone Lizards. Now if you will follow me I shall lead you to Astrello, he has own bed inside the chambers of King Algor, though I warn you, your friend, the young prince is very ill, he says opening the door to King Algor's chambers, inside they see Algor himself dabbing me with a cool washcloth. My entire body is shivering and cold sweat drips from it. As they enter Algor places the cloth by a bucket of cold water, walks up and adresses the group. Shadawn is still there, but his anger changes to gratitude when he sees how the King himself is tending to me.

"Our magicians and doctors have done all they can for him, I fear that the one that controls us, is the cause. You see he fought valiently against her and was severely punished. Our magician say there is evil magic surrounding him, powerful dark magic. He is constantly under watch and tender care. Feel free to do whatever you feel is necessary as well, this magic is beyond us. With that and as I begin to stir after hours of unconsciousness Algor runs over to me and hold my hoof in his claws. As I speak my words are shaky. "Algor what is happening to me, I feel so weak, I say trembling. Algor shakes his head. We do not know little prince, but I promise when we do we will get you back onto your feet and back to your family and friends. Now I brought you guests, your family and friends are here to see you."

I weakly turn and as I see all of them behind a wall of guards, I smile. "Sisters, friends, come closer," I say with as much enthusiasm as my weak body can muster. My sisters after being let past gently embrace me. As they do they feel my ice cold skin.

"Oh brother what has she done to you, you're as cold as death, they say with worry. I shake my head.

"I don't know I just feel so weak." Then as I see Shadawn I motion him over. Shadawn like my sisters, embraces me gently.

"You're majesty you are weak do not overexert yourself, but know this your friends, sisters and I will find what ails you and free you from its death-like grip."

I weakly nod, "I know you will. I must hurry though for each passing day I grow weaker and weaker. I will continue to fight it as I have been to give you whatever time you need, but you must hurry." Then it is my friends' turns to embrace me and spend time with me.
