I had the same question, because I also got the "Skylanders character/figure" message, as opposed to hearing anything about "Flocked Stump Smash". Up until the few of us today, there appear to only be two or three instances of people winning on the 800 number, and the first (StormbringingGT, i believe) said it actually said "Flocked Stump Smash". So I'm not sure what that means.

Just won on 1800. It says "You've won a skylanders character."

My grandmother called, and it said she won, but then connected her to a rep. The rep said she didnt know why it did that but she would look into it. Heh, my luck will be that glitch in the system costed me the figure

I don't believe it explicably states Flocked Stump Smash on the number, but if you listen to the prizes, it does say that. Other than that, while going through it just says Skylanders figure.

I just won twice using the 800 number but lost both times on the 866 number today. This is the first time I won on the 800 number, no mention of Flocked Stump Smash just a Skylander character. This was at 12:15 p.m. Central time.

I just called the 800 number from an alternate phone line and lost, so it doesn't appear to be broken like the 866 number was over Easter weekend. Who knows, maybe we hit the lucky time of day that it would let folks win?

My wife just called and spoke to the operator, and they confirmed that her prize entry actually said "Stump Smash" in the comments for her listing (I don't know how the hell they had a listing so quickly, but I'll take it). So, I'm feeling pretty good.

Yay! After 10 days of calling the 800 number I finally won! I wonder what other kind of weird variants they'll come up with until October, posable skylanders would be awesome however unlikely.

Awesome everyone. I was going to offer to look for some codes for you guys without stores nearby, but glad to see the 800 # is finally paying off. I called to check it out as well, and won too!

I called the 800 number today and won, then called back and spoke to an operator who, once again, said that she didn't know of any limit on winning if you do it once per day.

Hope it's not some error or something that's happening. We've got about 2 weeks left, so if they're doing it randomly until they give out all of them, they must have not had a really large participation.

I mean, Skylanders should have had an announcement of it on their facebook page or something. It's weird that they didn't.

Right right. It just didn't say "Flocked Stump Smash" after someone earlier said that it did, and combined with the sudden increase in frequency of wins around here, it seems rational to be skeptical. But, many people seem to have confirmed with the operator person that they should expect Stump Smash, so....

I called the 800 number and won Stump smash as well! It was a complete suprise as I was expecting " We're sorry, but you're not an instant winner today" message.

I think they just processed most of codes from sold bags and now started giving away the rest to the people who are calling #800. Thus everyone who is calling today #800 is winning. It won't last long. The same story was for #866 initially.

Just thought I'd give you a heads up that I stopped by my local Kroger and, while they had tons and tons of the multipacks, absolutely none of them had any Skylanders offers on them. So, it looks like Kroger does not, in fact, carry any of the Skylanders promo bags ($1 off, free random, free flocked Stump Smash). I was disappointed, but not terribly surprised.

Because Frito knows exactly how many coupons they printed and included with Stump Smash bags. They know exactly how many coupons have already won at this moment. If, for example, ~ 90% of coupons were already entered via web site and most of them won then the rest ~10% of coupons might not win or win less likely and now chance to win by calling #800 has significantly increased - you see how everyone started winning last 2 days by calling #800.
Why it won't last long - because there is limited amount of skylanders to win and after a few days of "everybody is a winner" not every caller will win but only every second one then only every third one etc - depending on how many calls they receive per day and how many skylanders left for #800.

Xero, did you really have to bring up the pick-on-GM78 thing in this thread? It's almost become a meme in its scope. Personally, I'd be thrilled of all such mentions/teases/etc. dropped off of this forum entirely. It seems like I got to lurk peaceably for a couple of weeks, got to join and post a few times, and then nearly every topic has become awash in "OMG GM78 has/needs 5 sets of figures, OMGOMG" instead of whatever the topic actually is. Could we all agree to just let this sleeping dog lie?

I know that I'm not alone in being seriously tired of seeing all of the bickering constantly. GM78 seems to keep a good attitude toward all of the blatant attacks, but it's getting seriously old to refresh the forums and find several dogpiles over old misunderstandings/disagreements/douchery. If you all want to jump on him, please do so in PM so as to spare everyone else from having to endure all the bickering.

I know I'm being somewhat hypocritical in bringing this up in the forums myself and apologize. This will be the first and only time that I bring this up; I will not reply to any responses to my post in the forums themselves--if you have to agree with me or tell me off, send a PM.

Let's get back to talking about Skylanders folks.

I have made a new law. I call it, "Reagan's law". It states that any thread can go on for only so long before people start to blame GM78 for something, (shortage of skylanders, rising gas prices, global warming). So why don't we prove my law wrong?
