Chapter 44: The Second Attack

The next morning Fergor'e and Ripto set out to attack Spyro and the rest for the second time, hoping to actually succeed this time.

Meanwhile, Spyro, Cynder, and Hunter were busy talking amongst themselves. Jessie and her other two brothers (do we have names yet?) were playing with the weeds. Jessie pounced playfully on a moving long piece of grass. They were close to forest, with Spyro and the others off to the side.

Fergor'e and Ripto were hiding behind a bush, looking at Jessie and her brothers.

"Let's grab that one, I've heard she's deaf," Fergor'e said, pointing at Jessie. Ripto looked at her.

"How do you know that??" He asked.

"News travels fast! C'mon, get in today's time Ripto!" She laughed. He shrugged and planned their attack. Ripto snuck up behind Jessie. Her brothers saw Ripto and ran away, frightened. Jessie saw her brothers run away but did not know why. She cocked her head. Suddenly Ripto grabbed Jessie and ran off into the woods, without anyone knowing. She whimpered while she was being carried away to who knows where. Ripto smirked.

Jessie's broters ran up to Cynder and started whining and growling. She looked around and said,

"Where's Jessie?!?" Everyone freaked out.

"JESSIE!!!!" Spyro cried, looking around. Then he thought of an idea.

"Hunter! You search the woods! I'll fly around above and Cynder, you stay here in case she comes back!!" He explained and took off into the sky. Hunter dashed into the woods. Cynder stayed where she was, worrying about her little girl.

Chapter 46: a new trick

Ripto and Fergor’e were running with Jessie in Ripto’s arms. Hunter was following silently not knowing Ripto and Fergor’e. They both ran out of breath Jessie had managed to get her mouth free and bit Ripto..

“Yaow !!!!” Ripto screamed and dropped Jessie. Hunter who near by he got closer

“Oh crap its those two…” Hunter said under his breath
Jessie had hit the ground hard….

“Damn it Ripto! She’s gonna get away!” Fergor’e said But Jessie had something else in mind she played dead. Hunter watched

“What are you…”

“Oh great you killed her!” Fergor’e said

“Then lets leave and try to get anthor one!” Ripto said arguing with her they turned back Jessie still lay playing Hunter jumped outta the bushes…

“Oh crap” Fergor’e said Hunter picked up his bow and aimed for the sky then turned his direction to Ripto

“Prepare to…die” Hunter

Spyro landed behind him he saw Jessie she opened one eye. He smiled but then it turned to a frown he blew a big breath of earth at Ripto and Fergor’e Jessie jumped up and ran to her father

“That little faker!” Fergor’e said her and Ripto were blow backwards

“WTF was that for?” Ripto said

Spyro answered “Stay away or I will kill you!” Ripto felt scared all of a sudden after anthor minute of silence Fergor’e said :

“No we wont stay away….” Her and Ripto got up and left

They went back home Hunter told Spyro about the “trick” Jessie pulled back there. Cynder was relived to see Jessie back.
