Sholeh gave a small smile back, though still feeling sorry for her friend snake. Naga lead a very reclusive life if not even in freedom he knew what he wanted to do with his life, but it was very clear that he knew how powerful and dangerous he was. Sholeh knew fully well that Sybil was afraid of Naga and his potential, and that she was lucky Naga decided to respect her wishes of not going after the warblers.
"My poor Naga. Limited all his life. But you'll learn to accept your freedom. You'll see. Since I don't have my own place, I can't ask you to visit me, but give me a little time. I'll find my own place and you can visit any time. I'll even find a tree very close to your home so that the journey doesn't have to take too long." Sholeh said ecstatically, full of motivation and demonstrating her complete trust in the huge python. She has enjoyed AJ's place so far, but it messed up her independence. And with Naga's friendship, it was the motivation she needed to have the initiative to find a place of her own. But first, she still wanted to have fun. She targeted another pigeon, and if Naga decided to join her, then better. Either way, if he decided that he wanted to leave, Sholeh was going to respect his decision nonetheless. That's how much she valued the new friendship.

"Thank-you... I.. I will consider it.," Naga simply said seeming to stay nearby at least for the moment. Part of him rather enjoyed seeing the poor birds suffer.

Elsewhere-- Hunter had managed to catch his first fish albeit with some help and guidance. "You did it! Now see... its easy once you start to get the hang of it!," Sayan said encouraging his son. He wondered how Rose and Snow were doing, but knew that they could certainly take care of themselves. If Snow was anything like Rose, she would be a very confidant leader down the road...

Sholeh noticed Naga was still there, but that didn't broke her concentration at all. That's how much she trusted him. Since she didn't want another pigeon to fly off before getting wet like the last time, she pushed the targeted bird herself, even if it meant her getting wet too. She was very close to drowning the pigeon since it was somewhat weak, but she wanted to humiliate it, not kill it, so she released the feathered dummy and watched with a laugh how pathetic it looked trying to fly away with the water weighting it down.
"Look at that! Haven't you ever seen a funnier scene?" Sholeh said to Naga as they watched the retreating pigeon, the mongoose having taken a like in torturing the speechless birds.

"He's a meany! But do you want a rid on my back? Won't you get tired?" Snow said.

"Really? I thought you didn't liked cockatoos." Angus said as he continued following, having believed Snow was left with a bad image of cockatoos due to his uncle.

A gnus shook his head, trying not to laugh. There wasn't much harm a cockatoo could do to someone like Snow, except maybe with the beak, but not even that was so damaging. Or verbally considering how Barloc was. Either way, Angus accepted the ride, looking around to see if he spotted his cousin. He still had to stop her from pulling the nasty prank she talked about yesterday. Maybe by meeting Snow would make her forget all about it given how welcoming she was of practically anybody she met.

"Hmm, it never occurred to me to count. But we must be around fifty. More or less the number of orcas they're are I gather." Angus answered, now ashamed that he didn't even knew the number of members in his flock. But most of them were simple neighbors, so he didn't know any of them. He didn't have time to meet them being almost all the time with his mischievous cousin.

"It's fine. We should be there in five minutes or less." Kali explained, having overheard Snow. It seemed the less part was more accurate, for they were reaching a clearing where there seemed to be a lot of odd structures that almost looked man made. Hunted island was very different from the Haven, and with this playground, it was much more noticeable.

"Of course. Sybil kinda inspired it, even though she doesn't know that. You see, we've been having a lot of fog lately, so whenever they're signs that it's going to be long, we just come here to have fun and have our young ones get a little exercise." Kali explained, as she demonstrated the objects. There were slides, trampolines, swings, lianas, spinning wheels, tube slides (the tube was a hollow tree) and even something that resembled a merry-go-round. It had pretty much everything that a big human park has. The playground was empty at the moment, but one could wonder for how long.
"You can play with whatever you want... except of course the little equipments. We made almost everything to fit birds alone, so there are some things you can't use. Some are fragile." Kali warned, as she pointed out the things that couldn't be used, not even by Snow. Fortunately, it wasn't too many, so the day could still be fun for tiger and daughter.

"Oh they'll come in the afternoon." Kali said, as she noticed Angus looking everywhere.
"Hey Angus, if you're looking for Nia, I saw her near the treetops of the blue berries." Kali explained, knowing how close they were. Angus thanked her, but since Nia was going to try her prank right there in the playground, it was better to wait for her. In the meantime, he offered himself to play with Snow while the rest of the birds arrived.

"Alright. But no biting. And no claws!" Angus warned, knowing that even at that age, tigers, or whatever mix Snow was, could do quite a large amount of damage, especially to a little bird like him.

"Yeah. Angus and Nia are teenagers now, but they haven't grown very much, have they?" Kali pointed out, noticing that it was probably only a couple of inches of difference.
"So Mistress Rose, should I leave them at your care? Remember that there is... something I must deal with." Kali then asked, being obvious what that something was.

With Kali leaving, Angus proceeded to start the game with a loud you're it. He made sure to fly low to make the game fair. He hoped that once Nia arrived, she would forget all about the prank and join the game. Knowing her, she was probably going to let Snow have more liberty with the tag.

Back at the Haven, Sybil was still in Crocux's cave, pondering many things. Being there was starting to make her feel depressed. Since Sayan and Hunter were busy, she wondered if she should visit the python and continue with the befriending. She could visit anyone else, but the keas were usually busy and she wasn't in the mood for Mambo's pranks. AJ was almost never home, and Sholeh was probably going to be rude to her.
"Perhaps... perhaps I should go." Sybil said as she left the cave to head to Naga's territory. She hated visiting there, but if the python was going to be a regular member of the Haven, she wanted to make sure to be on his good side. Besides, he was always polite to her, and even helped her get out of that muddy trap, so Sybil's fear of him was gradually reduced.

Angus was having a great time, and felt sorry for his uncle for not letting go of the past and leave his disdain towards predators behind and give those whom deserve it a chance. He was still looking around to see if he spotted Nia, but not wanting to be distracted and lack challenge for Snow, he continued with the game, really glad that Rose finally visited the island and was trusting enough to show her own daughter to them.

"Perhaps but not in a long time.," Naga simply said almost chuckling in a snake-like gesture. He soon made a motion to depart, but stopped before disappearing out of sight. "Thank-you.. thank-you for the distraction and the talk my friend. If you need me-- you know where to find me.," he said with a snake-like nod. As he made his way... he made sure not to leave the special gravy behind. And he certainly had plans to test the substance further for the sake of curiosity, friendship, and his own appetite.

Elsewhere-- Sayan continued to show Hunter pointers on fishing. "Father-- could I try something more challenging?," Hunter begged seeking a greater challenge. "Perhaps... but lets take it one step at a time. No need to rush through things.," Sayan replied with a slight chuckle. He wanted the cubs to enjoy the good times for as long as they could-- and experience less of the trauma the Haven residents had learned to endure.

"Alright. Take care my dear friend. Same time and place tomorrow then? I want to know what you think of the gravy." Sholeh said with practically a bow, as she also prepared to depart home, for the pigeons were getting boring fast. She lamented the fact that she hated their eggs, otherwise it would be eggs for her and the birds for the python, but unfortunately, they tasted too terrible for her, even if they had the same, if not more protein than warbler eggs, not to mention they were bigger. You couldn't wish for perfection though, and after a quick look at her reflection in the lake, she headed to AJ's tree.

At the same time, Sybil was already more than halfway there towards Naga's home. Since she was unaware of him and Sholeh's unexpected friendship, she assumed that the snake got lonely from time to time, so she wanted to make sure he saw that she was willing to befriend him even though she was still terrified of him. But as she continued walking, she mumbled how much she hated being in tht swamp, and thanks to the rain lately, the terrain has gotten more soggy and dangerous. She was extra careful though, to avoid making the same mistake when escorting Naga home. Even though she still hasn't reached their usual meeting spot, Sybil called anyway just in case he was nearby.
"Mr. Naga!? MR. NAGA!? Can we talk for a while?" Sybil yelled with her head raising up to make sure the overwhelming echo of the trees carried her voice very far.

Ugh, it's been so long since I've RPed these characters, I've forgotten how to actually play them. I guess I'll just have to resharpen my skills a little bit. Until then, bear with me.


Skaliscin had decided to pay AJ a visit, despite how often he was gone. He had told her long ago about his double life, so the reason was not a mystery to her. She decided it wouldn't hurt to try in case he happened to be home for today. The worst thing about stopping by without him there was making an awkward encounter with Sholeh, and all they did was ignore each other for the most part.

"No you're not!" Angus said teasingly, making her believe from time to time that she got him, only to dodge her at the last second.

Angus was very happy to have a new playmate, and what was more, she respected his rules and conditions.
"Nice going. You should try to play with my cousin Nia. Now she's quick! I think she was a peregrine falcon in another life. Now she will allow you to use claws and teeth if you want to. She's THAT extremist." Angus explained, saying Nia's name loud in order to have her come out of hiding just in case she was nearby preparing her prank. Angus loved playing jokes with her, but what she had planned was going a little too far.

Angus was glad to hear that, though knowing Nia, she was probably going to go with the extreme.
"You donn't have to hurt us. If you use your claws and teeth carefully, they won't even damage us." Angus lectured, knowing that it was something predators could do if they did it gently enough. He knew the orcas used their teeth sometimes to grab the Haven residents, but they didn't hurt them. It helped that they weren't pointy to begin with, but it was still a feat.

Nia was not nearby. In fact, she was almost exactly where her mother saw her. She has been thinking about playing the prank today, but since that was what Angus expected, she was going to do it tomorrow to surprise even him. In the meantime, she was going to keep her ideas to herself and head to the playground, which is where she suspected Rose was at the moment, that is, if her father allowed it.

"Peepers? But come on! Give him a break. He's old." Angus said, sounding a little more insensitive than he intended. He then changed the subject.
"Hey Snow? I think you should use the toys from this playground. This place fills up quite a lot in the afternoon." Angus said, knowing this was the place to visit after a very busy morning.

"It really doesn't matter. All of them are fun... although, stick to the ones your size." Angus warned, though knowing his aunt probably warned him the same thing. He continued looking around for his mischievous cousin...

Angus watched as Snow played, but was more concentrated on locating his cousin.
"Mistress Rose... if you see Nia, tell me." he said, feeling the need to stop her.

Angus had been playing on the playground for the last couple of days and was tired of it. He instead focused on Snow and he new everything was to her. He was one that hated routines just like his cousin, and couldn't help but find it fascinating how innocent was Snow and how everything she did was fun.

Even though he was watching Snow, he was still searching for Nia. But the mischievous cockatoo was a few feet away behind him, having only arrived at the playground a few seconds ago. She signaled Rose into remaining quiet so that she could give a scare to her clueless cousin...

"I told you, I'm looking for Nia." Angus said, and less than a second after he finished his sentence, Nia gave a loud squeal while pulling a feather off his tail, making his terrified scream the more loud with pain.
"This is too easy Angus! Scaring you is too easy." Nia said after screaming with laughter, while showing off his feather. She never believed a mere scare was enough, which is where the feather pulling came. Angus didn't spoke and gave her a scowl, afterwards turning to see Rose with a glare for not warning him about Nia. He didn't heard her coming, so that meant that she was walking slowly, giving Rose a chance to see her and she didn't say anything about it.

"Well, I have to have fun somehow." she responded, slyly pulling another feather from Angus's tail and flying away with it.
"NIA!" Angus yelled, very annoyed. Reaching her teenage years has made Nia even more naughty than usual, when it appears that the opposite effect was done on Angus. He started chasing her around in order to retrieve his feathers, while Nia taunted him all the way. She was so concentrated on annoying Angus that she didn't even noticed there was a new face among that small crowd.

As Naga bowed goodbye to Sholeh and proceeded to return home-- he soon heard the familiar voice yet again echoing off the trees. 'Sybil... the civet leader returns.,' he thought to himself. He had to admit-- that was one brave civet for going into the swamp time and time again. No one creature had ever stood up to him before and risked so much for meet with him; it was respectable in a sense. "I'm here...," a voice could eventually be heard echoing back through the trees and getting ever closer. He had been sure to hide the special gravy-- wanting to keep whatever was going on between him and Sholeh just that. He knew or least suspected how fragile a relationship Sholeh had with Sybil and the others.

Meanwhile-- Hunter caught another fish and the lessons continued.

Sybil looked up, following the direction of the voice. All she could see from Naga was a silhouette, so she couldn't see the gravy he was carrying, merging very well with his body. The only time she has ever seen him completely was when she escorted him to Crystal.
"Oh... hello again Naga. Just so you know, I'm not here on business... I... figure you might get lonely from time to time, and... well, I just wanted to know if you needed some company..." Sybil explained stammering, wanting to be completely honest with Naga, and demonstrating him how she was willing to try to befriend him and even trust him if he gave her the chance. Although Sybil was smart, it never crossed her mind if he already had a friend, since she was under the heavy impression that nobody ever wanted to be near him considering how deadly a python was, especially considering him, someone that almost brought an entire species to extinction with that monstrous appetite.

"Nia did you meet Snow yet?" Rose said showing her.

"Snow? Wait, you mean that white stuff that comes from the Haven's mountain? I asked daddy if I could go there, but he said snow was too cold for cockatoos." Nia innocently said, believing Rose referred to the actual natural occurrence. Angus covered his beak, trying not to laugh. His cousin's naïve thought certainly made his day.

"Oh..." Nia said, having heard from the nervous warbler before that Rose was with her daughter. It was difficult to believe, but there was the cub, in the flesh.
"Well, you could've picked a less confusing name." Nia said to Rose as she watched Angus giving her a mocking grin. That little ridicule was the perfect revenge for the prank she pulled on him. Ignoring her cousin's look, Nia watched how Snow seemed to be afraid of her, and it amused her.
"Hey now, what are you so afraid of? You're bigger than me. Is it our head feathers? They're funny, aren't they?" Nia commented as she raised her crest.
"But seriously girl, you shouldn't be so shy around cockatoos. We're practically harmless. You may look small, but give yourself a few months and you'll grow big enough to eat us in one bite." Nia said as a way to boost the little tiger's morale. Snow was about triple in size to the teenage cockatoos, but Nia was aware that many animals, especially predators, grew very large in very little time.

Nia looked at Rose.
"Oh man. From all the cockatoos here, she had to meet daddy first." Nia commented, lamenting such an awful coincidence.
"Well, daddy is just an apart bird. Here, we thrive for kindness. Come on come on!" Nia said, flapping her wings and inviting Snow to play, showing off her frenetic and energetic personality.
