"Can we help with the battle?" Coalata asked.

The black-and-red dragoness' eyes widened in shock at the sudden demon attack. Sprints flew back a bit, startled. Coalata blinked at the dragon that appeared. Celeste? Who was she?

Chimera stepped backwards, completely shocked, and before Celeste could leap at her again, she instantly thought to make a cage, of which she did. A cage made of shadow energy soon surrounded Celeste, whom had begun to claw at the magical bars. Chimera's heart was beating rapidly, "This can't be true, it just can't." She began to say, almost in tears.

"Oh, but it can."

Chimera spun around, a let out another gasp. This time, a pitch black dragon stood on the roof of a building, "Not you, ... Nothung." A tinge of fear was now laced in Chimera's voice.

"It's about time we met again, and this time, I am going to kill you, just as I did with your dear sister so long ago. And then, after that, I am going to find your boyfriend and kill him too." Nothung lept down from his perch.

Coalata frowned, looking up at the pitch black dragon that had appeared out of nowhere. From the way that Chimera reacted, she got the feeling that this dragon, Nothing as he was called, was mean, and not to be trusted. She growled lightly in her throat.

"Leave her alone. Picking on someone else like that isn't very nice."

(Just a little spelling error, Nothung is his name, though I suspect you have auto-correct.)

Nothung looked from Chimera to Coalata, "Bet you are wondering why I'm here?"

"I don't care why, I just want to know what you did to my sister!" Chimera said with both anger and fear in her voice.

"We've been brought here to kill you; a new friend of mine resurrected your sister, and now, you can die by your worst nightmare, and your only family." Nothung said with a sadistic grin.

(Yes. Auto-correct is terrible like that. .)

"Why would you do something like that, though? What did she ever do to you?" the tiny dragoness asked.

(Yeah, auto-correct is a troll like that.)

Nothung looked at Coalata, "Oh little one, it's not what she did to me that matters, at first that is, but what she lives for. She wants people to be able to live as one happy community, no thanks to her friend, some ice, dragon named Ganter. I knew Chimera would be trouble the first time I saw her and Celeste, and I thought killing Celeste would help. At first it did, Chimera had become a bit of a loner until her boyfriend showed up and ruined everything. Now, Chimera will suffer the consequences." Nothung looked at Chimera, whom was reliving those days within her mind.

Coalata frowned at this news. Why did he want to do something so bad as to kill her just because of her wanting peace in the world? It didn't make any sense to the tiny dragoness. Though, if he wanted to hurt or kill someone, that was when she was going to put her paw down. She didn't want to see anyone get hurt or kill because of some mean dragon like Nothung.

"That still doesn't give you the right to do something like this," she replied.

Nothung let out a laugh, "That's funny, you don't know how life goes in our dimension; we live in solitude, only finding mates and leaving the eggs, or just an egg, to hatch on its own. Chimera and Celeste were an anomaly, they cared for each other, and Chimera had the heart to try and help others. Killing Celeste broke her, but obviously it failed in the long run. After all, here Chimera is, trying to save a bunch of people who should just try to live on their own."


(Yeah, Nothung is a bit twisted like that. But it's actually a bit normal in their dimension.)

OoC: Well, he was beaten before, theuone. (This was a comment to you asking if it was wise to bring in the most feared dragon in all of warcraft, from the last page)

Deathwing looked out over the horizon, he was there somewhere, ever since he'd been freed and that little rogue (varedis) escaped, he had looked for him. Not only out of spite, but because the dragon had Nefarian's scent on him, and he wanted Nefarian.

*Flashback*

So he had found that Varedis had entered the Chaos Dimension, but, knowing that place, assumed he had perished. Until that day, he'd been scouring the earth for a sign when he came to this place. He wasn't at full power yet, but it was a mountain next to a waterfall. The signs of battles were evident, as well as the scent of many dragons. Yet one scent stood out to him, Nefarian.

For long he followed Nefarian's scent around that place, finding out that he had recieved some power as his magical scent changed. He followed him to Ysera's old home, yet she wasn't there and he had no inclination to look for her yet.

Eventually, his search took him over the sea, to where he picked up the scent again on thiis island. Here, he also found the scent of Varedis. He followed this trail to a library, where a great turmoil happened and Varedis dissapeared with a Channeler, "So that is how he escaped" he thought then. He followed the trail to a large mountain, where Varedis' scent re-appeared. He looked over the magical scents then followed Nefarian's out of there for a long time, until it came to the sea, he saw the scents of Varedis and Chromatus go through a Vortex and followed Nefarian's to the ends of the Earth, until he finally came to the Land where he had settled, the City.

From the fleeing demons he learnt of a great beast of the Sun as well as a beast with five heads. These would be Chromatus and Varedis, somehow they'd returned, so he asserted his dominace over them and made half of them attack again. One of his scouts who'd watched the battle told of a complete massacre, they told of Varedis, Chromatus and Speedy (in more words and without the names) then told of a dragon that had unleashed the cataclysm upon them and came out of the earth burning with inner magma.

This had made Deathwing laugh, as it could only mean one thing, Nefarian was there, and Nefarian had unleashed the power of the Dragon Soul.

Deathwing swooped forwards on the winds, roaring with his delight, "You are not prepared!" he shouted.

Varedis and Chromatus stood side by side, looking out at the giant mass of Deathwing, as well as the smaller demons coming in. They looked at Nefarian as he walked up to them, "Me and Ysera have worked out a plan to defeat Deathwing once and for all, when Deathwing first unleashed the Cataclysm, what happened to me happened to him, but ten times over. That was due to the full unleashing of the power of the Dragon Soul, it makes all your elements stronger, your muscles denser, you become more agile, live longer, and you also get one new element, (I got Fear) yet it means you constantly have this burning between you and your scales (If you have the fire element). This means that you can take less damage than before. We can use that to our advantage."

Varedis asked him how, and Nefarian sighed, "Well, first, Ysera and Sethria will unleash the power of the Dragon Soul in them as well, as all of his descendants have it. Then we need to surround him and use Ice, Wind or Shadow to try and tear the metal plates from him (as he created a heavy metal armour to kind of 'hold himself together'), it will make his body weaker, and then we give him all we've got. No matter what he does, we keep fighting, and Varedis, I need you to stay back, only do ranged attacks as I need you to stay at the back and heal. So don't get too close. Now, can you go tell everyone Varedis, I need to teach Ysera and Sethria how to unleash the power that made our Greatfather mad."

Varedis went round to everyone in the castle, telling them of Nefarian's plan, and told them all that if they see someone who doesn't know the plan, to tell it to them.

"Helping others out is a good thing. It shows that you care about one another. Times are changing. Dragons don't seem to be alone like that anymore from the sound of it," Coalata replied. "If she wants to help others out, then I'm all for that. I'll even help her out too myself."

Sprints nodded in agreement. "So will I."

"It's dragons like you that give others a bad name and want them to be alone so you can kill them off quicker.. Break them easier," the tiny dragon added. "That's cruel and mean."

(Heh, well I'm new to Warcraft, but I have heard that Deathwing is a dragon that means business.)

Varedis went round to tell Chimera about Nefarian's plan, then saw Coalata, Chimera, Nothung and Celeste, he knew his allies, so knew which side he was on, "What is your business here? We have to prepare for the battle, this is no time for fights with people on your side, and if, you are with Deathwing and the Demons, then you can go to Hell for all I care. So, which is it?"

(Coalata, how did you ninja me? I never saw that post and yet, it was posted before me, wow. Okay, strange. Anyway ...)

Nothung gave Coalata a stare, "Still don't get it? In our home, living alone is normal. Being cruel and mean is who I am, hatchling, so watch out, unless you become my next victim." Nothung spread his wings menacingly.

"I won't let you do that," Chimera suddenly spoke up, "I won't let you hurt anyone else." A fire blazed in her eyes.

When Varedis showed up, Chimera said, "He's no friend of mine, he is responsible for so many deaths, including my sister's." Chimera's voice cracked as she looked at the cage holding her undead sibling.

(The power of being a ninja. .)

"I won't let you hurt anyone either!" the hatchling added, stepping up beside Chimera. When Varedis appeared, she looked up at him, then followed the other dragoness' gaze towards the dragoness in the cage.

That must be her sister...

Nothung gave a good look at his opponents, "Hmm, I know you, Chimera, have power, and you," the dark dragon turned his gaze on Coalata, "little hatchling, you must have potential, why else would you be allowed out in the middle of a war. And you," Nothung looked at Varedis, "I have heard about you, Varedis, isn't it?" Nothung flicked his sword-like tail tip.

Skyward tracked Speedy's voice, and started to fly in the direction of it. "Where is that crazy dragon going?" she asked herself. "I'll follow him so he doesn't get his scales ripped off."

Coalata turned back to look at the large dragon when he spoke. He didn't know the powers that she had on her, as they hadn't met before now. Well, he was in for a surprise should a fight break out. Though, she didn't want one to. Wasn't there already too many fights with the war going on? Why add one more to it?

Isis saw Deathwing and went back to Nefarian "Let me help you" She said

Silon was still taking out demons "Should I be doing this? That little imp is nice, but these demons are helping that thing destroy the world" He thought

Nefarian looked at Isis, "Thank you, we need everyone possible for the plan, I'll give a single to Chromatus and then I need everyone to attack his armour."

Varedis looked at Nothung, "We don't have time for this, I know how people like you work, kill or be killed. You aren't going to kill any of us here, but I'm not like you, I'll give you a choice, if you flee, now, you won't have to die."

Nothung looked over to three of them, "I could easily take you all on, however, I think I'll wait." With that, Nothung transformed into shadow energy and dived into the ground; upon hitting the ground, the earth around him shattered, sending rocks flying at them, but once it was over, the dark dragon was nowhere to be found.

"Ok" Was all Isis said before flying away to get into position

Chimera was still shaken afterwards, and looked at Coalata and Varedis, "You guys have to promise me you won't ever face Nothung one on one, you won't beat him." Chimera remembered Nothung's ability; to match his opponent in battle.

Meanwhile, Nothung shifted out of his shadow form as he stood next to Deathwing, "Well, phase one is complete, Chimera has met with me and her sister again. How is it going on your end?"


(oh yeah, its intentional that Nothung is acting like Deathwing's equal. While Nothung isn't actually as strong as him, he has a unique(ish) ability to become equal to his opponent in battle (only works in one on one though). For example, Deathwing could blast him with the hottest blast of fire and Nothung could simply block it with his sword-like tail tip. Its also due to this that Nothung shouldn't be able to be considered OP, due to the fact that he just matches his opponent.)

"We promise," the hatchling replied. "Right, Sprints?"

The dragonfly nodded. "Yeah."

She smiled at Kihei's concern and thought back to her own condition. Was she really acting that different? She felt guilty as she thought about it, and abruptly hugged Kihei tight. Strangely, she wasn't ice cold like before, her emotions had affected her body and now she was somewhat warmer. "I'm sorry Kihei. I was just scared an confused..." She drew back from her hug and looked him in the eyes. Her eyes were even brighter than before. "Thank you for caring about me, but there are more important things to worry about, ok? I promise that I'll be better.... and... I'll be happy with you at my side..." She felt shy and hesitated for a moment, then kissed Kihei gently before running past him towards the exit of the crypt. "Now c'mon, theres bigger fish to fry. We have a battle to fight."

Suddenly a terrifying cry of agony echoes throughout the city, deeper within the mass that is Deathwing's army of Demons was a large metal box house one of the greatest minds of science that the Demon's have to offer. The blood chilling cries of pain and agony were Dusk's.

Silon heard the cries and flew towards the house, shooting any demon in his way

Isis was in a tree out of sight of Nothung and Deathwing

Kihei followed Flurry "So this means you will be my queen?" He asked before taking off

With Nothung gone, Chimera fixed her focus onto the undead form of her sister, Celeste, and seeing her like that, feral and without any knowledge of what was going on, it made Chimera tear up, "Why did this happen?" She sat down next to the cage holding her sister and wept.

Celeste gave Chimera a curious look, but stayed wary of the dragoness whom was on the other side of the bars. She had already figured that she couldn't break the shadow-bars creating the cage.

"What happened to her?" Coalata asked.

"Something I might be able to fix" Kihei said as he landed next to Chimera "If we can move this cage, we can get her to my mother's tomb, there's a healing station there that can heal her hopefully"

Chimera looked at Coalata and Kihei, "Somehow, that Deathwing guy resurrected her. Kihei, I had heard abut that, but doesn't it have but one use left?"

"I don't care, this is the kind of problem it can solve" Kihei said

Glare walked out from behind a building, "Sorry, but that machine won't be necessary, in fact, this isn't Celeste's destiny."

Chimera gave him a cold stare, "What are you talking about? I need my sister back."

"Think about it, what is the entire reason you began this journey?" Glare asked.

"To ... to reunite with Ganter." Chimera said hesitantly.

"Yes, so what would you do with your sister by your side?" Glare continued.

"I don't know." Chimera dipped her head down.

OoC: So you play Warcraft, theuone. Cool. Which one? Warcraft 1,2,3? Or World of Warcraft?
- OoC: I'm going to start putting text in italics and thoughts in bold so its easier to discern it from the other text.

Varedis looked at the conversation between Chimera and Glare, she was clearly torn as Glare had said something true to her. Varedis stayed back next to Coalata, looking at what was happening. He liked Chimera and didn't like seeing her upset, and that almost made him cry too. More and more he began to hate Deathwing, and itched for the moment when Nefarian would give the signal to attack him.

Nefarian stood with Ysera and Sethria at the back of the castle in a stone room. Just stone with ice columns. Ysera's main element was Light and Sethria's main element was shadow. "To unleash the power of the Dragon Soul, you have to create a Cataclysm. This is an attack that you can use no matter what elements you have, it will just effect the world differently. It relies on the Dragon Soul. Both of you have it hidden within you. The Cataclysm combines your two main elements, so for you, Ysera, it would be Light and..? " "Water" she said, Nefarian continued, "Light and Water, so yours will cmbine those two, to create a cataclysm, try it."

Nefarian and Sethria moved back and Ysera stood in the middle of the stone room. She then began spinning round in a blur of light and shouted "Cataclysm!" the light shone out, blinding everyone, while waves of water gushed out from under the earth, a great whirlpool formed below her and rays of light kept shooting out, then the water surged up around her and took her form. On impulse she leapt forward, leaving a trail of light and then the water exploded away from her, revealing her.

Ysera looked different now. She too had rifts between her scales, but they weren't magma-lines. It wasn't fire burning there. It was some sort of misty gas, probably because of her wind element, with light drifting through. Yet the gas was green, and without realizing it, a trail of poison was slowly coming out of her mouth. Sethria pointed it out and she spat a great globule of it that sizzled at the Earth Wall.

Sethria's two main elements were Shadow and Fear. Nefarian and Ysera moved back and she looked around the room, her eyes began glowing red and darkness seeped in from all corners, covering all light, so you could only see her burning red eyes. Then she whispered, "Cataclysm...." an intense screaming sound erupted everywhere, but luckily nefarian had sound-proofed the room in thought of this. Orbs of fear erupted from the darkness around her, striking the walls and exploding, multiple voices whispered from around the room, things like, "Death." "All must end," "You are alone" "Your friends have left you" "Youare not prepared" "Thou must die" "Death to all who oppose us" "We shall destroy" "You can not survive" "Your lights will go out. The darkness will envelop you. And you will fear the shadows that move within it." "No one can stand against the fear. You will perish." "You face your fear. A moment's... peace." "You will know fear!" "Drown in terror." "You think it is so easy to vanquish your fears?" "Dread rises! It seeks the light. It hungers." "Everything that you are is MINE to destroy!". It was chilling, and then, these great hounds made out of fear came from the shadows, killing all they could see (despite their being no-one there but themselves) as well as a great serpent made of shadow. None could see any of it but its eyes, which they would only see appear in front of them. Then the shadows drew into Sethria, cloaking her in them, and she settled on the ground, covered in shadows with burning red eyes. Then she breathed a torrent of shadow out, as well as Phantom orbs. The room broke and collapsed around them.

Sethria looked at nefarian and ysera, pleased with herself. She now also had black armour covering her, if you looked between the armour, you could see the rifts in her scales. Glowing, dark purple and red . She laughed, "I seem to have convexity now!" as she made a ball of Convexity appear before her. Then she infused it with fear and shadow and sent it screeching off into the sky. "I am ready" she said.

"He what?"

"Brought her back to life in other words," Sprints replied. "Well, in a matter of speaking anyway.."

(Yeah Eternal Sunfury, I've been introduced to the game, got number 3. Also, Nothung is waiting for a reply from Deathwing.)

Chimera looked at her sister; Glare had a point. With a sigh, she looked at Kihei and said, "There might be someone else who might need the chamber more than us." It broke her heart to say that. When she spoke again, it was to Glare, "I can't stand to see Celeste like this, there must be a way to at least give her back her soul."

"There is, Chimera, it's deep within you." Glare replied.

Chimera blinked at Glare, surprised and curious, "What do you mean?"

"You remember that other thing you carry in your pocket dimension, it can help." Glare said vaguely.

Chimera looked at Glare again, but she understood. She held out her right paw, and with a small flash of red, a single ice-blue scale materialized on it. What stood out was that the scale glowed brightly in an array of rainbow-colors, "I don't know how to use it."

ooC: Cool. The Reign of Chaos chapter is fun. But Frozen Throne is epic.

Deathwing looked at Nothung, "Yes, it goes well, and the Dusk experiment seems to be going along, they are swarming about their castle like ants protecting their hill, yet they shall all fall. I've even seen them attack themselves. A bolt of Convexity, Shadow and Fear was launched into the sky not so long ago."

"Make them fear us, make them attack their own. Also, they have a demon inside, they call him Impenji. One of the demons told me this. I want him snuck out to me, so I can use him for my own devices. Can I trust you to take care of that? Oh, and one tip, when you do this, act nice to fool any of his friends, Chimera and Varedis may not have told everyone yet, act like you're one of her cousins or something, and when Impenji returns, I want you to make it look like he overpowered you and let him drag you back as a prisoner, later on you can escape, but make it look like he defeated you, otherwise, if he jjust dissapears then re-apears, they'll be suspicious."

Varedis was shocked on seeing nefarian, Ysera and Sethria come out from the guardian. The change was shocking, each seemed slightly bigger, and more powerful. Sethria's armour made her look stunning and Ysera seemed like she was born of the winds, he was used to Nefarian by now. "Where should we go?"

Nefarian said, "I need you to hide, no wait, not you, but most of the people, Deathwing knows you, he has seen you, so if he doesn't see you now, he'l be suspicious." Varedis shivered as he remembered that time at the Isle of Quel'danas, and Deathwing saying, "I have seen you, rogue. And I will find you, and I will kill you." Yet he didn't disagree. Chromatus, Ysera, Sethria and the others who would be helping in the final attack would hide around the castle, waiting for the signal."

Chromatus went to Flurry, Chimera, Valley & Navy (one after the other), telling them that they were needed to go hide from Deathwing around the castle. Isis was already hiding so she didn't have to tell her, everyone else would just go with the attack against the demons. Nefarian's signal would be to shout, "Earthan Gladiators" that would be their queue to come out of hiding and attack Deathwing.

"Who?" Kihei asked

Isis overheard Deathwing "Not going to happen, they will not hurt my little Impenji" She thought

Silon had taken out 4,000 demons when he reached the building, trying breaking in "Leave my friend alone!" He growled

Nothung smiled evilly, "Splendid idea, if I'm discovered, well, another death or two won't matter much for me." He held up his sword-like tail tip, eager to gave a good fight, and vanished in a puff of smoke.

Skyward's horned perked up again. "In going to be glad when all of the sounds of the battle are over," she growled. "Wait, that's Dusk!" She sent a telepathic message to Speedy, telling him to meet her at the building, but she didn't know if Speedy would get it or not.

Occ: Eyebrawler could you wait before having Silon breaking in?

Deathwing looked at Silon, who was trying to break through into the building, "Pitiful fool!" he shouted spitting a burning globule of magma at him.

Chromatus hid amongst the battlements of the castle, waiting for the others to come as well. "Where are Flurry, Chimera, Valley & Navy?" he muttered to himself.

Nefarian and Varedis went on to the battlefield. They attacked the demons, killing and killing. Meanwhile, Deathwing watched from the other side. "Nefarian. I knew you'd be here, and I see the power of the Dragon Soul in you, well done. You're following in my footsteps. How great." he shouted to Nefarian. Varedis shouted back, "He will never be like you, fiend!"

Deathwing looked over at Varedis and seemed to grow in size while he held Varedis in a deathly gaze. "Psychic Terror..." he whispered and Varedis' fear was multiplied tenfold within him, and he dissapeared. "Ha! Weak fools, already scared beyond their wits. Are you really one of them Nefarian? I am a god! They are but pests. Join me, and we could have power beyond your imagining."

Nefarian took a deep breath, then replied, "You are not a god, you are a devil. And they are not pests, they are my friends!" Deathwing growled, "Is this your final answer?", a few terse seconds passed before Nefarian replied, "Yes." "So be it." replied Deathwing, "Winds of Chaos!" he shouted, a terrifying storm sprang up, a great wind howled around the landscape with shadowy banshees flying through, screaming, and fire shooting to the ground like lightning.

Nefarian ignored the storm and kept to attacking demons, he couldn't face Deathwing, not yet, eventually Varedis returned, the effects of the Psychic Terror having worn off. Together they attacked the demons, it wasn't time to face off Deathwing, he had too many demons milling round, and he wanted to free Dusk first, so he left Varedis attacking the demons with a shadow replica of Nefarian and went to the metal uilding which dusk was in. He hammered and he hammered, yet he didn't break through yet.

(I don't know where Flurry is, but Navy and Valley are out on the battlefield. Chimera is in the city with Coalata, Sprints, Varedis (or rather, Varedis just left them), Glare, and Chimera's still undead sister Celeste. )

Speedy started to run toward the Demon army but slid to a stop once he spotted Deathwing, "You!" he called out, "Where is my friend!" he said.

The metal box was magically enforce making it stronger than normal.

Silon heard Speedy "He's in this metal box!" He yelled as he continued trying to break in

(Yep. That's where everyone is at the moment. I think. Well, most everyone..)

Coalata blinked, watching them with her dragonfly friend.

Chimera looked down at the rainbow-glowing scale, and then over to Celeste. Silently she handed it to her undead sister, and when Celeste unintelligibly touched it with her paws, a mist-like rainbow-colored aura enveloped Celeste, and soon the young dark dragoness looked completely alive, but she had fallen asleep.

OOC: so, wait. Theres a battle going on still right? Sorry i havent been posting much. trying to get a new job

(There is a second wave. And in light of it, Dusk has been captured, and Chimera had been shaken to her core. No thanks to Deathwing resurrecting Celeste, and getting the aid of Chimera's archenemy Nothung.)
