Chimera had dashed off as soon as the countdown finished; she ran as swiftly and silently as a shadow. It was her favorite technique for hunting to be so quick that her prey, and any other dragons, would have no time to react. As the dark dragoness entered the forest, she could smell deer, and crept up to it. The deer had been munching on grass, and Chimera wondered why it had not fled from the obvious battle that she had been in nearby. Chimera soon pounced on the deer, delivering a deadly bite to the neck and killing it. One down, many more to go. Chimera thought proudly.

Jagged Tooth ran off into the fields, opposite of where the fight had taken place. He saw a couple gophers running around. He chased after them. On or two got away, but in the end he had about 5 gophers. A good start, he thought.

Shimmer, on the other talon, was not so keen to catch as much. Oh well, she thought, I guess I have to catch something. She went off to look.

Glare had ran off into the forest as well, though he kept a distance from Chimera. He soon caught a half-dozen squirrels with a single shot of light each.

On the other paw, Cavern was having trouble with his hunting; even though Aquarina had ran off on her own, most of the prey seemed to be avoiding him.

Kra-Ra flapped his wings with a startle and ran off into the hunting grounds. The black dragon never liked to hunt, the faces of agony on the animals disturbing him. He had to conform though, all dragons were carnivorous. He had to be too. He took a still stance in the middle of the grounds and closed his eyes. His talons drummed against the ground gently and small amber ripples of energy crawled across the ground. There was an alarming squeal as a pig rushed out of a nearby bush, small stones whirling around its pink flesh. In an instant the ground beneath it churned, shaping into a large dragon's maw, and clamped down on the pig. The creature struggled and squealed in its earthly prison.

Jagged Tooth saw two deer, a mother and a foal. He ran over and killed the foal. Once the mother deer had seen her young be killed, she tried to escape but Jagged Tooth chased after her. He leaped and killed her with a bite on the neck.

Isis took out 3 rabbits, N was going to bite a raccoon, but he couldn't do it, Kihei took down a deer and a chipmunk

Lea launched herself at a cow, taking it down with a fire blast as she caused vines to tie themselves around its knees. Skyward popped out from behind a rock, startling her. "What are you doing?!" she growled.

"Want to work together and split the prize?" Skyward asked.

Shadow calmly walked in a direction no one was going. He could sense the weak energy of prey nearby and followed the strongest. This lead him to a clearing, where a deer was calmly eating the grass, it's ears twitching for danger. The dragon, quiet as his name, climbed the nearest tree and settled himself on a branch. The deer shot it's head up and looked around. Nothing, then it continued eating. The deer was a female and looked as if she was fully grown.
Shadow narrowed his eyes as he saw what looked like a baby deer run towards its mother playfully. The dragon stiffened and hesitated before pouncing onto the larger mammal. He used his tail to stun the younger and bit down on the mother's neck. In a quick and fluid motion, he broke the mammals neck, silently hoping it wasn't painful. He then turned to younger who was now on its feet and prodding its mother with its nose.
Shadow growled threateningly and watched the young deer run away through the trees and shrubs. He froze for a minute before flying back to Gold, deer in his paws. His gaze was cold and unfeeling, but he new what he did. He let the survivor go, just as they did to him. Shoving the memories away, he landed a distance from the group and waited for the rest.
I should have killed it... went through his head as he stared into the sky.

Kra-Ra had not moved an inch, and several different animals were already trapped in earthy cages. Two pigs, several pheasants, and a whole cow. He drew the prisons into one solid mass, trapping the animals in the same space, and brought it back to Gold. The animals were still alive and breathing, just in fright.

Shimmer so far only had a rabbit and two squirrels.

Jagged Tooth swiftly caught a three rabbits and a couple mice.

Fryden had slowly been making his way into the Hunting Grounds. He sent a tornado of fire, burning down a huge amount of trees. Fryden revealed tons of hiding and scorched animals and gathered all of them in his wing, twenty-three in total.

Kumara had hunted several rabbits, a raccoon, some sort of squirrel and a young pig.

Isis flew over to Fryden, her kills in her mouth "Wanna work together?" She asked after putting the kills down

Kihei started catching some fish using his ice powers

N walked back to Gold empty-handed

Kra-Ra saw that N had nothing, and felt a bit sad for the dragon. He tried to secretly use his powers to push the cow to N's side. The look in his eyes said, "It's yours"

Noticing N's lack of prey he scoffed.
"Why did you refuse to kill them?" He asked coldly. The forest was full of prey, so N could have brought back at least three kills, meaning he probably couldn't bring himself to kill them.

"I don't do well around blood... It makes me... Lose control" N said as he moved the cow back using his element

The cow mooed in protest as it was getting shifted back and forth. Kra-Ra shrugged and took back the bovine. He was just trying to be nice.

"Sure," Lea growled unenthusiastically.

"C'mon!" Skyward encouraged. "It'll be fun!"

"Ok…" Lea put her tail over Skyward's mouth. "A cow!" she whispered.

Skyward took a couple of steps and flew over to the opposite side of the cow. Lea started chasing it and Skyward pounced on it, ending its life quickly.

As Chimera caught yet another squirrel, she felt proud, almost a bit smug, and stored the rodent in her pocket dimension.

Kihei caught a total of 30 fish, he made a ball of ice around everything he caught so he could easily transport it, he saw Kumara while transporting his kills "Hey, I've got about 40 kills here, wanna combine our totals so we can share the prise?" He asked

Fryden looked at Isis. "Sure." Fryden made the Earth rise around him, sending animals flying. he quickly retrieved all 23.

Shimmer saw a herd of cows. This would definitely would make up for her slacking. She raced towards the herd of cows, freezing them with her ice breath.

"They've started to gain on us!" Lea growled. "Let's prove them wrong!" Vines started entangling many animals in the region as Lea used her fire breath to cook them all.

Spyky breathed out a cloud of pure darkness, distracting some birds, making them an easy catch. He used his earth element to make steps so he could pounce on them.

((Lea and Skyward have a total of 38 random pieces of prey, and Spyky has 25 assorted birds. Somehow, I'm planning to have everyone catch the same amount, if you think that works.))

N looked at Gold "Um... Miss Gold... Can I ask you something?" He asked

"Great! I only have 3 but I know a trick on how to get fish" Isis said as she went to the river and froze a line in the river, stopping the fish from continuing, after 50 fish stopped at the wall, Isis made a wall behind the fish and started grabbing the fish

"Yes, what is it?" Gold asked. "Wait, is it something about using your powers to hunt? You can if that's your question."

Kra-Ra looked at his captures and then back to the class. All the others have killed their animals... Westerners don't preserve them until ready? His tribe kept their animals live until the very last second. Maybe it's cruel to do that? He questioned himself. He couldn't bring himself to killing what he caught, though.

"Its not that, did Diamond talk to about my problem?" N asked

"No, you just had her," Gold looked confused.

"Well, I don't want to be an Iron class anymore, I want to be a Gold class, I shouldn't be stuck as Iron because I'm the only one in my family without wings, it makes me feel cursed" N explained

"Sure, but are we allowed to?" Kumara asked.

Shadow didn't care if he lost the competition. He wouldn't waste more energy than needed, so he stuck with his deer. It was a rare find in the forests after all.

"I don't want to damper your dreams, but there are two problems with your plan," Gold sighed. "One, the Gold dorm room is in the sky, and two, you'll have to wait for next term at least for the required paperwork to get filled out."

"I think so" Kihei said

"I know... my family always told me about the dorm, but I just feel like a freak, I've never seen another dragon without wings" N said

Jagged a Tooth dug his claws into the ground. He wanted to catch the most! Uh, more importantly, he wanted to eat some. He continued his search.

(bump time due to length to bottom emergency, also, Chimera and Glare are waiting for hunting to be officially over so they can return with their prey.)

Aquarina had only caught a rabbit as she returned to Gold, Cavern on the other paw, had created a cage out of earth to trap some various rodents that he caught.

Kumara watched the others return patiently, "I guess it wouldn't hurt," she replied.

"Time!" Gold yelled. "Wait, is anyone going to hear me from here?"

Jagged Tooth did in fact, hear Gold. He bundled up all his prey (not very easily for that matter) and started his way towards Gold.

Chimera landed in a streak of shadow energy, "Having to take prey right out from under the snouts of hostile dragons certainly has helped in the long run." She said as she opened her pocket dimension and let a large amount of various prey fall to the ground. (Given the numbers of the other reach 30+, Chimera's is maybe ten more.)

Glare landed neat by soon after, "And wait for it." In a couple of seconds, several dozen streams of light arrived in an arc, carrying his prey.

Kihei rolled his ball of kills to Gold

Isis carried her kills over too

N waited for everyone

Fryden followed Isis with his prey.

Kra-Ra had been waiting patiently for the session to end near Gold, his pray live and captured in earthy cages. He refused to kill what he had caught, and didn't feel the need to compete for best animal killer.

Shadow remained by a tree a little ways off from Gold while Kumara brought her prey with Kihei.

Kihei sat next to Kumara "Me and Kumara worked together" He said

Isis sat next to Fryden "I worked with Fryden" She said

"Um, Gold, are you going to say anything about our hunting?" asked Fryden.
