You know what, after seeing all these Disney characters being shafted for playsets. This game has become very low priority for me to buy, it's still an option, but a very low one.

hiro and baymax will be out with donald, merida, stitch, tink, maleficent, and alladin on november 4th.

You honestly expected a ton of Disney playsets? I said it before, the game is nothing more than a cash cow. The main focus this time around is Marvel and how popular their movies are right now. A few Disney playsets might happen, but overall, it's all going to be Marvel with a few Disney characters thrown in in a pathetic attempt to fanservice with them being Toybox only and few characters from their movie being included.

Tink is there, but I'm still wondering where Peter, Wendy, and Hook are. Heck, Maleficent is clearly the Angelina Jolie live-action one. They couldn't even do the classic one and also add Aurora & Prince Phillip because they were so busy trying to make money off of that movie.

I still haven't fixed the internet issues with my Wii U so I can't go online , but I decided to buy a Starter Pack on launch date anyway.

By the way I just saw Guardians and it rocked so now I can't wait for the Play Set.

I wonder if anyone will actually buy it, though? 'Cause some people are willing to pay crazy amounts and with DI rising in popularity, I wouldn't be surprised. I just hope if someone does, that they get it before the game's out

John v has announced that there are 4 unannounced characters- 2 marvel, 2 disney.

Hope one of the marvels is Deadpool. I NEED MY DEADPOOL!!!!!!!!

For the 2 Marvel I'd say maybe Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, but that's just because they seem like really cool characters to have. Im hoping for Mulan and maybe Pocahontas.

Just to start a bit of conversation, what adjustments would you want for certain characters? I know for a fact and I NEED to have a better controllable Dash and maybe even quicksilver. Ms Incredible, the sticky hand, and Anna's hook should have a longer range.

Speaking of the Incredibles, do you think their respective abilities should be unlockables in their Skill Tree or that the figure should have it out of the box.

It seems like Amazon has a deal very similar to this!
100 dollars for starter, spider man set, captain american, and one disc pack. (So even a better deal).
ALSO for 120 for starter, spider man set, captain america, rocket raccoon, venom, and one disc pack.

^ I'm jealous of you having that now I won't buy the Funko figures of the other Guardians, because I'm getting their Infinity figures, but I ordered the Fabrikations Rocket Racoon.

I'm considering getting this game, since I'm a big superhero fan, but the fact that there's only two female heroes (and both of whom are very similar in terms of play style) turns me off a bit to it. I really wish Wasp or She-Hulk were playable in the game, or Storm (though I heard X-Men won't be in it for a while). I'm also hoping for more classic Disney movies like the Little Mermaid, Lion King, or Beauty and the Beast characters.

Nova and Iron Fist aren't as obscure as you might think. The entire Spider-Man cast is pulled from the Ultimate Spider Man cartoon which has Nova and Iron Fist as main protagonists.

Punk Shock, that's pretty much the same reason I have a bit of beef with female representation in media these days. It isn't a turn-off for me but is kinda disappointing that female characters aren't represented with a similar variety to males (at least it seems that way). I digress, just wanted to say I agree.

well if you count the incredibles as heroes, violet and mrs incredible.

plus we have a female spy, cowgirl, racer, a fairy , 5 princesses, and one amazing villain. yup. disney appeals to both genders in this game!

also, my sister has a sharknado pop and a loki pop. i want the turbo one. it's awesome.

Oh, DI's definitely done a better better with that then most stuff I've seen.

My Fabrikation should ship out today. I'm so happy I ordered it when they were selling for $20 instead of $30 (and they could be shipped here ). Yeah, the Turbo figure looks awesome, the King Candy one is great too.

Marvel actually does have quite a diverse set of female characters. But Disney Infinity seems to base it all on the cinematic universe (and I guess Ultimate Spider-Man which has White Tiger doesn't it? Why isn't she playable?), and the ratio of female superheroes to male superheroes is way off. Hopefully when we get our eventual Wonder Woman film, Marvel will usher in some female-led movies of their own and we'll get more than just two female Marvel characters in this game compared to the whopping 17 male Marvel characters.

That being said, I'm still interested in the game. I'm a big fan of classic Disney villains so I'm happy that Maleficent is playable. Does anyone know if she'll have her Sleeping Beauty look as an alternate costume? I much prefer that to the Angelina Jolie look.
