Nightfire remembered about his ice powers. He tried using them on a wall, but nothing happened.
'What?! I should still have them!!'

Starfire cried as she kept trying to heal Nightstar, but nothing worked.

ooc: my computer is acting up

OOC: It's ok...

Nightfire felt useless. He looked at Nightstar.
'It's like it was her destiny to die...'

Starfire looked at her.
"no....! i won't let this happen....!" she cried. Nightstar closed her eyes. she was motionless, and her beathing slowed down. Nightstar soon stopped breathing. Starfire had an idea to save her, but she knew that Nightfire probally wouldn't like it. Starfire looked up, and roared, before collapsing to the ground. not long after Starfire collapsed, Nightstar opened her eyes.

'What?! No!! You... no...' Nightfire fell forward.

Nightstar looked at him. she looked weak, but she was alive. Starfire was motionless.

'No... Why would Starfire do this....?'

Nightstar looked at Starfire.
"Mommy....?" she asked. there was no answer. Nightstar got up, and went over to her. "Mommy....?" she asked again. no answer. Nightstar got worried. she put her paws on her, and shoke her gently. "Mommy....please wake up...." she said.

Nightfire pulled her away. He had tears in his eyes.

Nightstar looked at him.
"why won't Mommy wake up?" she asked, confused.

'She... she sacrificed... herself... to save you..' He said, letting go of a tear.

"what sacrificeded?" she asked, she wasn't sure how to say that, and she didn't know what it meant.

'She died... to save you...'

"Mommy......died.....?" she asked, sounding sad. a tear rolled down her face.

'To save you...'

"why....? won't i come back anyway....?"

'No... You see your wound?'

"no....i worried about Mommy...."

'Look... I have the same problem... if you attacked there... all of your powers are usless...'

"my powers useless...? why...?"

'Because... i don't know... but... Your powers cam from me, who came from Zenith... we share the same weakness.... Only Zenith would know... or his creator...'

"creator...? this all very confusing...." she said. "where Mommy now....?" she asked. she wanted to know if Star was in a good place.

'She's in a good place... but... i could get her... if Cyan didn't get me.... But, his creator, he never hatched because his creator got my dad, he made a copy, then changed it and gave him more powers... thats what a creator is...'

"oh....could Mommy come back on her own...?"

'No... Only you, me, Gabriella and Zenith can...'

"why can't she....? i thought Mommy was powerful...."

'She was... And she should have the power... but i can't remember what happened...'

"oh....so....Mommy can't come back...? why can't someone go get her...? could i get her...?"

'I don't know... i want to... but.. i could never come back, you'd never see me or mum again....'

"that bad....can't someone else go....? or...could we bring Mommy back, but not go to her...?"

'No... Only we can... Cyan won't let me come back.... Bladerunner told me he wont let Zenith or Gabb go back... and we have to go to the spirit world to come back... It's how my dad brought me back...'

"what about.....um.....Gold...whats his name....Mommmy told me hes some kind of elder or something....he might be able to help..."

'I don't know anything about him... and plus... Something is telling me no to...... You know what, i'm going to get your mum back, i don't care if Cyan comes, i'm getting her back..' Nightfire collapsed. He appeared in the Spirit world and looked for Star.

Nightstar layed down beside Nightfire. Starfire looked around. she saw Nightfire.
"Nightfire!" she yelled. she ran up to him.

Nightfire ran up to her and hugged her. He then looked at her.
'We need to go now, before Cyan gets here!'

"i know! i haven't seen him, but i know he must be around here somewhere!"

Nightfire turned round. Cyan stood there.
'Going somewhere?!!'
'I don't have time for this!!'
'Tough!! You two are dead!! You're staying here!!'
'I'm not dead! i just have no spirit!'
'That's enough for me to class you as dead!!'

Starfire glared at Cyan.
"let him go! i may be dead, but he isn't! Nightfire is free to leave when he wants to! you can keep me here all you want to, but i won't allow you to keep Nightfire here!" Star snarled.

'When your spirit's here, your classed as dead!!' Nightfire made a portal made him.
'Go Star!! I'll handle this!!'

Star looked at him.
"but, what about you?! we can both go now if we hurry!"

Cyan watched and waited for the two.
'I'll keep him busy! You go!'

Starfire didn't want to leave without him, but someone had to go back, and be with Nightstar. then Star kissed him on the cheek.
"i love you..." she thought, before going throught the portal.

Cyan tried to grab her, but the portal closed before he could. He turned to look at Nightfire.
'You see? You can't keep us here! We'll never die!' Nightfire then turned around. Cyan quickly attacked. Nightfire fell to the ground, powerless.
'...You...'
'See? Now i have the upper hand!' Cyan grabbed Nightfire's head and looked at him. 'It's a shame you're already dead... takes half the fun away...' Cyan turned away. 'Well now you can't go back..'
'I wouldn't think so...' Cyan turned round and saw a portal. Nightfire Grinned and stood up.
'What?! You shouldn't be able to use powers!'
'You need to work on your aim...' Nightfire ran through.
'NIGHTFIRE!!!' Cyan yelled as he tried grabbing him. The portal once again closed to quickly for him to.

Nightstar was hugging Starfire. she was happy to see her mom again.

Nightfire slightly woke. he was only half awake. He had been using his powers too much, and had became exhausted.
'star...' He lightly said.

Starfire went over to him.
"are you alright?" she asked. Nightstar looked at him, and smiled.

He lightly smiled.
'I guess.... i used my powers... too much...' He then fell asleep.

Star and Nightstar smiled. then they both layed down beside him, and fell asleep.

i have to go. bye.

Nightfire began having a dream.

Starfire and Nightstar only slept.
