Jackor had moved out of the way and, again, raised an eyebrow.
"Does that thing work for all of you weirdos?" He joked.

"Of course!" Latula says cheerily, swinging upside down from a branch, suddenly appearing face to face with Jackor.

Jackor laughed.
"That's good." He said, a smile on his face.

Eli laughed as well.
"Good to know that if any if you get injured, we have an easy way of healing you." He said.

Latula smiled. She then frowns at Terezi.
"You're injured! Not as bad as Hakan though. He's...dead Karkat. He said he was sorry for hurting you. He was bullied so much that he became who was."

Karkat snarled.
"I could care less."

Latula let out a choked cry. Tears had already been running down her cheeks. She turned away from everyone.

Eli looked at her, a sad frown on his face.

Jackor just sat there, thinking how funny this turn of events was, and how sad it was.

Terezi coughs and looks at the ground as Latula cries.

Karkat bit his lip.
"Just because you loved him doesn't mean I do, Latula." He growls.

Eli stared at the ground, feeling a little uncomfortable.

Aradia smiles at Eli and holds his hand. Her shoulder was almost healed.
"Those two are always arguing. Don't worry."

Eli looks at Aradia and smiles.
"That makes me feel better." He joked.

Aradia laughs.
"Good."

Eli just looked around at everyone.
"Any idea what we do now?" He asked.

Karkat shrugs.
"What else? We chase that stupid guy down." He barks. It was obvious that he wasn't in a great mood.

Eli just looks at him.
"He almost killed all of us." He said.

"We managed to get the necklace back from him though." Jackor butted in.

"True." Eli replied.

"If I die, it's not like you care." Karkat snarls. He stands and stalks off.

"Karkat!" Equius yells, but he doesn't chase his friend.

Jackor looked after him.
"I'm going after him." He said getting up and beginning to walk that direction.

Equius lays a hand on Jackor's shoulder.
"Don't. It's dangerous. We don't know what Karkat might do to you. You see, he believes that everyone hates him because Hakan is his brother, so that gives him a bad rep. He snaps easily. Just let him go."

Jackor looked at him, then shrugged.
"If you say so." He said.

Equius nods.

Aradia sighs painfully.
"I twisted my ankle and it hurts. I guess that's on me."

Terezi lays against a tree, Latula sleeping next to her with her head on Terezi's shoulder.

Eli looks at her.
"You okay?" He asked her, worried for her.

Aradia smiles painfully.
"Sure, I guess."

Eli raises an eyebrow, concerned for her.
"You sure?" He asked her.

Aradia shakes her head.
"Not really sure. It hurts a lot." She says with a small laugh.

Eli laughs as well.
"You have any idea what to do with a sprained ankle? Cause I definitely don't." He said, laughing again.

"I guess all we can do is wrap it. That wouldn't do much, though." Aradia says, her head resting softly on Eli's shoulder. She was tired from all the fighting.

Eli wanted to shrug, but didn't because she was laying on his shoulder.
"I guess that's the best we can do." He said. "Now, does anyone have any bandages?" He asked the others.

Jackor just shook his head.
"Nope." He said.

Terezi tossed Eli some bandage, careful to not stir Latula.

"Hey, look at that." He said, catching the roll of bandage.
He then looked at Aradia's leg, and pulled up her pants leg a little so he could work on her ankle. He began to wrap the bandage around the ankle, eventually forming a wrapped thing of bandage around it.
"That should protect it at least." He said, leaning back onto the tree.

Aradia smiles.
"Thanks. That feels better." She says softly.

Eli shrugs.
"Anything for a friend." He says.

Aradia smiles.
"I like that." She says, drifting off with her head still on Eli's shoulder. She leans slightly against him, her breathing soft.

"I think she likes you, Eli." Terezi says. "It's nice. Aradia went through so much pain as a kid."

Eli smiles as he looks at her. His head snaps to Terezi as he hears her.
"Really?" He asks. "Do you really think that?" He asked.

Terezi nods.
"Definitely. I know she does."

Eli turns to look at her again.
"How?" He asks. "To me, it seems like she just likes me as a friend." He says.

"Cause it's not odd to you that she's laying her head on your shoulder, it wasn't odd when she held your hand, hmm?" Terezi says.

Eli blushes and shrugs his other shoulder.
"I guess so....." He trails off.

Terezi laughs.
"You must like her too. And don't tell me you don't because your face is red."

Eli had been about to say something, then shut his mouth into a tight line as he heard her comment.
"Shut up." He said.

Jackor laughed, having walked over to the group.
"Yup, that's what he looks like and how he acts when he likes someone." He says.

"Shut up!" Eli whisper-yelled, getting another laugh from Jackor.

Aradia stirred.
"What are we yelling about? Is Karkat back?" She asks softly, shifting her head against Eli's neck.

Eli just sat there, not saying anything.

Jackor coughed.

Eli gave him a death glare then cleared his throat.
"No, we were just talking..." He trailed off.

Aradia looked at Eli with her gold eyes.
"Oh. What about?"

Eli tried to not blush and gulped.
".....You....." He muttered to softly for anyone to hear.

"Did I do something wrong? Oh! You're face is red! You don't have a fever now, do you?" Aradia asks in concern.

Eli laughed, a smile coming to his face.
"No, you didn't do anything wrong, and no I don't have a fever." He said.

Aradia smiles happily.
"That's good. What is it about me then?"

Terezi looked at Aradia.
"We were thinking about an answer to a question."

Aradia cocks her head.
"What question?"

"Who you like." Terezi says.

Aradia smiles.
"That's easy." She says, tapping Eli gently on the shoulder with a finger. "Eli."

Eli just looks at her and smiles even more.
"Well, good thing I like you too." He says, looking into her eyes.

Aradia smiles and wraps her arms gently around Eli's neck.
"That makes me happy."

Eli wraps his arms around her waist.
"And that makes me happy." He says.

"Coughcoughgetaroomcoughcough" Jackor said.

Terezi laughs at Jackor's comment.

Aradia smiles and snuggles against Eli.

Jackor smirks, and tries to keep a laugh in, but fails.

Eli just hugs Aradia even more.

Lone looks at the forest and yelps.
"Karkat!"

Karkat collapsed to the ground. A blade was in his shoulder.

Aradia looked at Karkat with wide eyes.
