Beryor was glad to see his opponent getting in close range - it was where he excelled, not having a breath weapon or any other means of long-range attack. She may seem intimidating now, but she would see just how fearsome he could be with his back to the wall in close quarters. He retaliated by swinging his tail at his lunging opponent.

Jade swerved to avoid the blow, and shot a blast of fire at her opponent.

OOC: Okie

Emie was watching the battle from above.

OOC: let's see how Elicora is doing shall we

Elicora was down on the ground battling it out with a FlashFire

Beryor got a few singed scales from the blast - he tolerated it, though, and with great speed attempted to slam the other dragon with his weight. Already, the singed scales were regenerating before their eyes.

Jade braced, and was surprised to see him recover.

It was time - Beryor wanted blood. He needed the frenzy. After slamming his opponent, which wasn't as effective as he was hoping for, he immediately sought to dig his claws past her scales and into her skin.

Jade tried to scratch the dragon as it approached.

Beryor took the hit - it would serve to intensify his bloodlust, which he wanted right now - or did he? Was he losing control already? A scratch like that would heal very quickly. Hunger barely gnawed at the edge of his consciousness. He aimed a swipe at the biggest piece of his opponent he could get to.

OOC Edit: Ugh, again. Post it again and I'll play along.

Jade sent another blast of fire at the dragon. She growled and went to rip off scales.

Beryor had been predicting the attack from the other dragon, and had positioned himself so that moving to the side would leave his apparent mate vulnerable to his breath attacks. Dodging both breath attacks with the battle instinct brought by his heightened bloodlust, he continued to lose scales to the claw attacks, while relentlessly slashing at the female dragon with his claws.

"Your mate won't save you from me!"

"Mate?! Heck no!" Jade said as she continued to claw and tear off scales of the dragon.

The blast indeed hit hard - it probably would have been enough to stun Beryor, had he not been battle-enraged. All that was on his mind was killing - he once again charged at the female, his body crackling with electricity. Hunger continued to gnaw at him, growing louder...

...I have to disengage...

Jade growled, and lunged. A new power seemed to surge through her. Her only goal was to kill this dragon. The power seemed to control her. Jade tried to fight it, but she failed. Her goal was to kill this dragon. To kill. Anything. Her eyes glowed red, she shot a blast of fire at the dragon, and dived at him, going in for the kill.

OOC: I might go to sleep soon, it's like Midnight where I live.

OOC: Generally, when roleplaying, it is best to leave how the other character responds to the controller of that character. Just a tip.

IC: Beryor took the charge of both dragons head-on. When they made contact, he conducted all the electricity he could muster.

OOC: Yeah, past 1:00 AM here. Going to bed.

OOC: Are you talking to me? I thought I was doing okay.

Jade stumbled backwards, shocked. She stops to recover.

OOC: it's past midnight where I live, my eyes are glazing over, and I'm starting to go a little crazy so goodnight.

He was blinded and had no idea what the following attack he could hear was. It was electric from the sounds it generated but it didn't sound like a simple volt or a blast, regardless he would have to endure it.
As it passed through him he could feel it shocking his entire body but he wouldn't give up, not now and not ever...even if it kills him. Pain soon followed as his joints and body spasmed from the volts

And yet he was still standing...extremely pissed and more of that steam was emitting. "Idiots, do you really think attacking someone is a good idea when they show no threat or aggressive intent...you started this and your foolish little brain can barley function reason with that darkness...For the safety of all around you regardless of fraction I must cleanse you or kill you"

OOC: No. Generally, it's better to say "he shot X at Y" then "he hit X with Y." Just a note for SpyroConvexity. Keep up the good work, I'm remembering how fun this is.

Beryor was throwing a bite at his opponent with everything he could muster...

NO!

It took every bit of focus he could still muster to activate his active camouflage and dash for cover - especially since, besides a basic idea of the terrain, all he could detect were his two opponents. If he recalled correctly, there was a river somewhere nearby, which would make his escape much easier.

Jade stepped forward. She was going to kill that dragon, no matter what the costs. "Im going after him."

ooc: wow, I missed a bit. Don't worry I'm caught up. So....Jackson, you have any ideas on what sort of backstory Zen and Regeil have together?

Regeil was still there. This all turned into quite an amusing spectacle to him. The blundering fool who doesn't even study his opponents first, the overprotective dragon protecting....his enemy, and then there's Zen. Hahaha, desert-and-carrion! He still hasn't changed in the slightest. He flicked his tail, amused almost like a cat would. Well, he wasn't just amused, he knew this would give him a slight advantage. As they were fighting, he noticed everything. Their weight disposition, how they moved, their fighting habits, what to look out for and when to go in and kill. Regeil had already gained his knowledge to do battle with any of these opponents if they tried to face him.

Jade stared at Icestorm. "You dont get it." She growled.

Beryor soon healed from the shot he took to the wing - he almost jumped back in, but jerked himself back into control with the last bit of his willpower. He needed food - now. He made his way to a nearby river, and after some time, jumped in, seeking fish.

OOC: I don't get online as often as you guys, so it may be a bit harder to catch up for me.


Cosmii started to crawl away from where the dragons beat the snot out of each other. Unwittingly, she rustled the flora near a black, heavily scarred male dragon. He was resting on a rock and watching the spectacle with obvious pleasure.

"Do you know where they would be?" Jade asked, still looking for the dragon.

After a few snaps and some electricity, Beryor had consumed enough fish to end his feeling of dying of hunger. They didn't taste well, but with each fish he ate, he felt himself healing a bit more. Jumping out, he decided to plan his next course of action.

He thought of what happened. Much of it was a muddle due to his bloodlust at the time, but he had the impression that he would most likely be able to best either of the dragons he fought in close combat. He couldn't remember how much damage he did, again due to bloodlust, but he did not recall any additional healing factor - if he did any sort of decent damage, he should be ready to fight while they were still recovering. Or he could just drop the matter - the most sensible choice. Wasting that much energy for nothing would leave a bad taste in his mouth, though.

What to do?

"Alright." Jade looked around one last time for the dragon. "I know where wild grass is. That can be where we start."

"It's rather close to the battlefield, but if we lay low, we will be able to get over there unnoticed." Jade glanced up, and saw the dragon hovering above them. "It's that FlashFire."

"Well, if you ask my opinion, Icestorm will stick out like a sore thumb anywhere, and I'm guessing the ShadowFlames probably will sooner or later come to fetch Jade. After all, you have to keep track of the dragons you've corrupted to run an army that way." Regeil's eyes glinted evilly. "Well, see you around moon-gazers." He got to his paws. "I think it's time I went to a Library."

After catching some more fish, Beryor decided that a quick nap would be in his best interest. It would help him make new scales more quickly and he could usually wake up and respond quickly enough to threats. He found a hiding spot by the edge of the river, closed his eyes, and began a light sleep.

Regeil laughed out loud, a grainy, taunting laugh. He smirked at Icestorm, darkness in his eyes. "You can't even control your own body. That's right. I saw. You almost corrupted yourself and that wasn't even with ANY ShadowFire interrogation, darkness rituals, and dark seeds planted in your heart." He laughed again. "Do you really think you can resist their constant darkness when you're so weak-willed and soft-scaled that you almost let yourself be corrupted yourself? Ha!" He turned away, and then his smile faded into a grim look, and his voice grew serious. "As for me, why would I even want to put myself with a bunch of those dying prey-dung losers anyway? They're all nothing but carrion food!" He grunted. "I'm my own dragon. And I don't care if you're bigger and stronger than me, I'll fight and I'll kill. You know NOTHING about me, moon-gazer!"

Jade shifted uncomfortably. "Ignore him.."

"As for you." He swerved his head to look at Jade. His eyes faltered and softened just for a brief moment. ".....don't trust anyone. Be careful." Regeil added that last part a bit softer. Then he blinked, the coldness returning to his eyes and he launched himself into the air, flapping to gain altitude.

Jade looked at Regeil strangely as he flew off. "I wonder what that was about." She thought.

"It makes me wonder... Can you be trusted? He has a point. You seem to be strict on the war, and seem to think the only proper dragon is a MiddleDragon. And, you do have some control issues." Jade stepped away from Icestorm. "Who are you really?"
