OOC: Bump

Dekka wondered if she could turn the icicles back at Maxxi as she waited for him to recover.

OOC: Bumpity-bump-bump-bump.
S-G, I dunno what to post. I think I have writer's block. :/

Arendor returns to the grounds and collapses against a tree. He is deathly pale and his entire body is shaking. Sweat falls down his brow and he wipes it away with handkerchief.

OOC: I dunno.. I really like your roleplays though, I don't want them to die. :c

OOC: Okay, so is anyone else besides us two still active in this roleplay?

ooc: Well, if this is still alive, I'll roleplay here. I think my character is still talking to yours, Angel.

OOC: ..Oops. Sorry.

Damien nodded. "How often is Battle Time held? Is it a regular thing?" He asked. If it was on every day, then he could only imagine how many classes he would miss.

ooc: That's okay.

"No, it doesn't happen often. It's actually been a while since the last time." Solum answered.

"Okay." He looked at all the other students battling each other. Damien looked back up at Solum again, thinking. "Are you gonna battle?" He asked, a hint of excitement in his voice.

"If someone wants to battle with me. But being an S-class mage, I would have to find someone of my level to make things fair." Solum replied. Solum was very calm and didn't really seem interested in a battle. He usually didn't care much for battles, and he was only comfortable fighting with someone that was close to his level. He liked to keep things fair. Plus, he didn't want to risk accidentally hurting someone.

Arendor not wanting to attract any attention, using his staff a support, shakily stands up and slowly makes his way to his dorm. He politely declines any help from others, saying he is alright, that all he needs is rest. His strength fails him many a time, but Arendor every time shakily stands up and continues on his way. Even as he is falls and blood drips onto the floor, he continues on. Nothing can seem to stop him.

Arendor is knocked off his feet as someone runs by. Falling to the ground with a loud thud, he takes his staff and starts to pull himself upright slowly. Pain is written on his face, but none can see it because it is hidden within his hood. Finally getting upright he shakily makes his way toward his room.

Arendor stops and turns to face Noah.

"Its fine, you seem overly excited about something. Don't let me stop you doing whatever you want to do. Go on have fun. I'll be...fine," he says clutching his chest and leaning heavily against a pillar before continuing on to his room.

Arendor looks at Noah and smiles.

"Well it's good to see that someone cares. I was beginning to wonder if I had any friends in this place, he says his breathing getting heavier by the minute. As for me being hurt, yes I'm not just hurt though. I'm badly hurt. Though for the safety of all I cannot seek aid from the healers here. I must tend to my wounds myself or another student or students must. A great evil, known only as The Shadow, has begun to stir and I have contained it for now, with my blood. My wounds are gruesome and terrible, but saving the lives of untold people makes every ounce of my pain endurable. If the followers of this evil were to find out that I am as injured as I am, they would surely shatter the seals that I have placed on the monster's hidden prison, once they found it. Then a evil unlike anything you can imagine would be unleashed upon this world."

As he reaches out to grab another pillar to prevent support himself, his strength fails him and he misses it slamming his already injured chest into the railing of the stairway. He spits blood onto the ground before propping himself up against the pillar.

"I see you do not believe me, well that's alright. Perhaps its better that you don't know. Thank you for all of this," Arendor says with a smile. Reaching into a pocket of his robe a pulls out a large orb and holds it out to Noah.

'If you wish to see for yourself if what I say is true, then gaze into this and you shall see for yourself the truth."

"This object is called the Oracle's Eye. When someone seeks wisdom from the Ancients they gaze into this. If they do not trust the orb they travel to the temple itself and seek the council of the wisest of creatures, Myrin, the Last Unicorn."

The orb floats out of Arendor's hand and hovers in the air in front of Noah. Then within it becomes a dark cave with a single figure with a lit torch walking through its corridors. Then a shadow charges toward the figure. Soon a vicious battle ensues. After several minutes of watching a fight that actually took hours, the figure escapes the cave and using his blood that his on his hands writes a dozen symbols on the stone archway. A shield envelopes the cave entrance but not shadow comes out. The figure then raises his staff and disappears. Then the orb returns to normal before floating back into Arendor's robe pocket.
