No offense but that look on the head makes it seem like a HTTYD dragon, the kind of dragons I just find to be a pathetic excuse compared to proper dragons.

Personally I don't care much for HTTYD either, but I wouldn't really know since I've only read the book quite a while ago, and haven't seen the actual film, but I suppose I can change it again if you want, though chances are I'll probably just mess up again...

You know what, just dump it, its making trouble for you, and besides, dragon-wings made me a drawing before he left for vacation.

I'm so sorry for the recent inactivity, guys. I've had a bit of artblock, but Kookie's request is virtually finished and Cinderlover's I just have a bit of work left to finish on. I'm going to Scotland tomorrow, and will be back on Sunday, when I'll most likely post them. (They'll be posted by Tuesday the very latest) I really am sorry about this again, and I'll post some other sketches on Sunday-Tuesday too.

I'm not too fond of the shading here-it IS there, I think I just smudged it out too much. Hope you don't mind that I left in parts of the original sketch for effect.


Don't know if I like this or not. I feel bad that you had to wait for a measly headshot.
T'was quite a challenge though, all the same. Couldn't get the confunded shoulders. I also had a try at failed cell shading as you can see-I'm not accustomed to it, but I think I'll experiment more with it. Anyway, I hope the style's halfway decent- it has elements of my own style mixed in which I didn't initially intend.
