I turned away, swallowing hard, back to everyone. It looked like I'd just thrown myself at Shaun.
And it had probably looked desperate.
"...Well. Mero is trying to eat my hair. I would like my hair uneaten, thank you very much." Rima said, and I peeked over my shoulder to find Sparkles the Evil Freak of Nature trying to eat a lock of her blonde hair. I burst out laughing, and Shaun grinned, laughing silently along with me. (Sometimes I wish he would just LAUGH, forget being all silenty and stuff. His laugh is seriously nice... And I'm off topic again.) Koto even snickered, from his crouching position on the ground next to Lina. Lina giggled.
"Mero, come here!" She said, holding her arms out, and the little Freak of Nature that was the dragon made a 'brrr-rup!' sound and flapped to Lina, who cuddled it as it nipped at her. I sweat dropped.
"Don't let it bite you, Lina."
"Him! Mero's a boy dragon!"
I ignored her, but Shaun stood up, nudging my arm. I glanced at him, and sighed. He was silently ordering me to get a move on and deal with the stupid dragon. "Alright, he's a boy dragon. Cute little 'Mero' also tried to KILL me." I snapped, glaring at Sparkles. Sparkles just spat sparks at me and curled around Lina's neck, tail in his mouth as he hung there, like a scaly necklace. Lina giggled. I glared. Rima shrugged.
"I don't care. At least he's not eating my hair anymore." she said. Shaun snickered at that.
I thought for a moment, then sighed, stretching slightly. My strength was coming back. "Either way, dragon or no, we should go back for our supplies, and then keep moving." I muttered to Shaun.
He nodded. "Except there's no landmarks to go on out here. We flew straight into Nowhere Land." He mumbled back.
"Joy." I said, sarcasm dripping. I paused. "So how DID you catch me?" I asked, curious.
"I just dove and grabbed you."
"We can't dive that fast. I know we can't. I can't. You can't."
"I can go super sonic speed. I think I can dive that fast."
"Oh aren't YOU special."
"That I am."
"The-" the insult I'd been bout to launch was interupted by a crunch of apple. All heads swiveled, and glared at Koto, who had paused mid chew with an apple in his hand.
Silence...
"Where did you get that?" I snapped. He whimpered, apple going into unhinged jaws and vanishing. He snapped his mouth shut and covered his head with his wings.
"Don't hurt me!!" He cried, quivering. Rima sighed, and crouched next to her brother, rubbing his back comfortingly. She must have been talking to him mentally too, cause soon he turned and hugged her, not shaking nearly as much. Rima glanced up at me, eyes speaking volumes. I cringed guiltily. I shouldn't scold these two, especially not Koto. He didn't know any better.
I sighed, and simply stood there, feeling despicable.

@ GF: goldy, first off, neither of my schools had swim team. Here i play volley ball, not well, but i play. At my old school i was too low a grade to participate in sports anyway. I'm a wimp. I've always been physically weak.
also, awesome bit of story.

@Gf: well, yes, that is true, but i'm more than just a quiet girl that loves animals. actually, today, i was the awesome senior with food for my classmates. X3

@Nighty: Sucks for you. but have you tried a Y swim team or something? Local pool? Anything? And there are FOUR strokes to choose from! Not to mention, you get stronger, fast. It's ehausting, but so worth it when you have kick @$$ shoulder muscles after just three weeks.

Oh, i swim at the local lake all the time. As soon as i can get in I'm there. I have no upper body strengh, so no team wants me. I can't do soft ball, and basket ball is out of the question. All my small town offers is horse back riding, volley, basket ball, and soft ball.

@Gf: yes, apparently you become quite popular in school if you have food. X3 even the next day, they still thanked me for bringing food in. X3

Okay. I've been typing a lot of this. So, I'm taking a break. I am writing a Short Random Piece.

Short Random Piece One-The Pink and Purple Paint:
"Terra!!!" Shaun shouted, obviously angry. I turned.
"Yes yes, that's my name, don't wear it out! What!?" I shouted back. Shaun held Koto up in front of my face as he stalked over.
Koto was covered in pink paint.
"Pfffff-!!" I struggled to hold the laughter in as Shaun glared at me.
"Did you do this?" He asked, pointing at Koto, who just looked at me forlornly. I snorted with laughter, shaking my head,
"Heck no! Ahhhahahahahahahahahaha!!!"
"Then who did?"
"Who cares!? That's hilarious!"
"How so!? The poor kid is PINK! ... Okay, yeah, that's pretty funny." Shaun let out a snicker too, and I kept laughing. Then we heard Lina's voice calling.
"Kooooo-toooo! Where aaaaaare youuuuuu? I haven't finished painting you yet! You need purple splatters!" she called. Shaun and I exchanged looks, and burst out laughing. Koto just hung his very pink head, ashamed.
Rima appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, saw her brother, and almost burst out laughing, hands clapped over her mouth. "Pfffffff-!!!" She laughed silently, shaking with it, tears of laughter coming from her eyes. Koto just looked ashamed.

@GF: no, it's not flan-chan. She is generation two angeliod, type Epsilon, model chaos. She was sent to destroy the other angeliods, whom her master had said they had fallen in love (which is why they left him, also he's a jerk). Chaos, not knowing what locve was, because she was not programmed to love, wanted to know what it was. She was defeated in her first indever, and trapped at the bottom of the ocean. She was alone down there for a time, and killed lots of animals. That's when she got the idea that love was pain and death, because the other angeliods had trapped her there, where she was lonely and in pain. So Chaos returned to the world above to show all her fellow angeloids and even the humans what love was.
