*the ice shield breaks*
Rouge: *teleports to the ground. starts to slide a bit 'cause of the ice, but keeps her balance.*

Tundra: *smirks as he turns to her and nods his head at her.* "So rouge you still want to fight your brother? Because personally i think this isnt getting us anywhere."

Rouge: *snorts* well, we have the same elements. except for a couple of my added abilities, we're pretty evenly matched as far as powers go. fighting appears to be pointless.

Tundra: Yeah you do have some extra abilities, that i dont posses, but we are pretty much evenly matched, listen this is pointless come on lets just stop this ok rouge?

Rouge: *sighs* fine. *mutters under breath* woulda wooped your but in the end...

Tundra: hehe I heard that but keep dreaming rouge.* he said laying down to where firefly was.*

Firefly: *chuckles lightly* anyone want popcorn? *offrs some*
Rouge: i can get my own, thank you.

Tundra: so you enjoy the show firefly? And no thanks firefly I'm good.

Firefly: *eats some popcorn* yeah, very entertaining.
Rouge: *eats her own popcorn* glad you had fun. *sarcasm*

Tundra: yeah it was fun.

Rouge: whatever. *eats popcorn*
Firefly: *whispers to Tundra* i think someone is bitter about not winning.

Tundra: *whispers back.* Ya think? hehe

Firefly: *giggles lightly*
Rouge: *grumbles under breath while eating popcorn*

Tundra: *accidently puts a paw over firefly's* hehe Oh uh... sorry.

Firefly: hehe, that's ok... *eats popcorn*
Rouge: *groans and turns away while eating*

Tundra: Well anyways um whats next?

Firefly: well, the show ended, but i'm still eating dinner. *chuckles lightly* we could just hang out.
Rouge: *grumbles to self* or you two could hang out, and i could actually go somewhere else and have fun...

Tundra: Rouge dont be like that, i dont understand why you hate everything alot. *he asked her and he walked up to her*

Rouge: i've been living with evil ever since i hatched. don't expect me to be little miss sunshine. *eats popcorn*
Firefly: *finishes her popcorn* doesn't mean you gotta be little miss doom and gloom though.

Tundra: Yeah exactly, I... doom and gloom? Hmm haha ok well. *walks up to rouge and hands out his paw at her*

Firefly: i was basically just saying that she's bitter and negative.
Rouge: *gives him a look* now what do you want?

Tundra: *just smiled and nodded.* I want my sister to join me, I aint gonna leave you alone

Rouge: and why not?
Firefly: kinda wondering myself. she obviously doesn't like us.

Tundra: Because regardless, its not in my nature to hate, nor to leave behind family. *he said looking at firefly then back at rouge*

Firefly: well, i'm not related to her, so its not really my problem. and i don't hate her. i just don't like her.
Rouge: and i don't like either of you. and you're both lucky my mother isn't here.
Firefly: but you two are brother and sister. Slean may hurt me, but i doubt she'd hurt either of you.

Tundra: Well i wouldnt let my mom, hurt you firefly, and rouge like it or not were family so STOP ACTING LIKE A SPOILED DEPRESSING BRAT!!! *he said as he snarled at her*

Firefly: i can take care of myself, thank you.
Rouge: *snorts and looks away* just 'cause we're family doesn't mean i have to like you. it just means we're related. besides, our parents like never see each other anymore, and they don't get along either. so why should we? its not like we grew up together or anything. we're raised diffrently. we come from diffrent worlds. deal with it.

ok, i finally got around to writing more. so, here it is. enjoy.

Chapter 82: The Plan

"what is it you want from me? surely there is something. you always have some sort of a plan. so, spill. what is it that you want?" Glacier asked. Slean still had him pinned to the floor. she grinned.
"i need to expand my reign, my evil influence. i need more minions, preferably ones that have somewhat of a brain. darkness will rule this time, once and for all. good will not win like they have in the past. and for my plan to work, i need you by my side." she grinned evily. Glacier's eyes widened.
"i will never join you!" he growled. he then kicked her off of him. Slean jumped to her feet. Glacier got up a little slower. Slean looked at him, chuckling lightly.
"i did not say you were to join me willingly, or by any other means for that matter. i simply need your cooperation. and i know how to force you to submit to my will, if you choose to resist."
"my cooperation? i do not understand, Slean. what are you saying exactly?"
"you do not need to do anything but agree to join me in my plan. i need your ice dragons to aid me. have them become part of my army."
"i would never have them work for you!" he growled.
"you have no choice. refuse to help me, Glacier, and i will take away the one thing you cherish most." she grinned evily. Glacier's eyes widened with fear.
"you wouldn't dare harm your own son!"
"would i? how well do you actually know me, Glacier? the boy is of no use to me. i can't turn him, and with him being good, he must be eliminated. there is no other way. for my plan to work, i must eliminate every threat. your son has become one. plus, with him gone, there will be no heir to the ice dragon throne. your kingdom would be left unprotected. and with you becomming old and weak, it is only a matter of time before you pass, and then the kingdom would be mine. or i could simply take it now."
"you are truly evil if you can kill your own flesh and blood!"
"no. Tundra is not of my flesh and blood. at least, i do not claim him as mine. he is tainted with good. now, my daughter, Rouge, is of my flesh and blood. she will become a magnificent dark queen one day."
"i have heard of Rouge, our daughter, the troublemaker. she is nothing more than a trickster. how do you expect to create an evil queen from that?"
"despite her immature nature, darkness is a part of her. as she grows older, evil will consume her. she will not be able to fight her true nature forever. sooner or later, she will submit to the darkness, and then she will rule as an evil queen. now, unless Tundra can be redeemed, i must eliminate him before he has a chance to stop me. so, if you do not want him to die, then you must aid me with my plan." she said. Glacier sighed, thinking a moment.
"what is it you want me to do?" he sighed with a shameful expression. Slean grinned.
"send your best warriors to my lair. tell them nothing. simply say that they are to infiltrate my lair, and attack my minions. they will be captured and turned. then i will need your other ice dragons. i will use them to spread the darkness to the areas it has not yet reached. i know the arctic remains, which is why i require ice dragons. once that task is complete, i will send your dragons back to you. then even this very kingdom will be under my rule once they spread the darkness here. then perhaps i will be able to get you and Tundra on my side. if not, then you and the boy must be eliminated. and don't even think of trying to stop me. i will find out, and i will kill you. but not before i force you to watch the death of your son. think of that before you think of going against me." she said. "now i must be going. a moment longer and my moronic minions are surely to screw something up. farewell, Glacier. it was ncie chatting with you." she grinned. then, in a flash, she was gone. Glacier sat down with a heavy sigh. what was he to do now?

Tundra: Listen just because our parents get along doesnt mean we need to be like then and hate eachothers guts, tell me how can you hate someone you barely know, theres no logic to that, yeah we didnt grow up with eachother, but regardless were family like it or not.

Rouge: did i say i hated you? i said i didn't like you. there's a diffrence. besides, the fact that we're family means squat to me. my family includes my mom and the other dragons that helped raise me. they are my family. the ice kingdom is not a part of who i am.

Tundra: Rouge you still dont make sense though, why do you hate me? I havent done anything to make you hate me. And anyways, you may not see it, but i include you and unfortunatly my mom as family either way, since we do posses the same abilities really.


OOC: by the way nice chapter and im glad you continued to write this.

ooc: thanks. yeah, i'm still writing. i just take breaks occasionally.

Rouge: *sighs* i don't like because mom told me not to like you. she told me about you and dad. she actually told me to stay from both of you. she's worried you two will be an influence on me, and turn me to your side. she hates the thought of me being good.

OOC: Good for a moment there i thought you stopped writing.

Tundra: I will not force you to like me, because thats your own will to do so. But hear this, how can you listen to someone that wants to kill her own flesh and blood. But even if she wants you to not like me then, thats up to you but if you need me im there. *he said turning around and walking away.*

ooc: no, no, i would never do that. even if i take a long break, i'll get back to the story eventually. i love writing, and i plan on finishing every story i start.

Rouge: *sighs* she doesn't want you dead, Tundra. she would rather you and dad join her. look, she told me her plans. she told me what she's going to do. she tells me everything. if anything, she wants the family back together. of course, she wants us all evil, but she doesn't want any of us dead.

Tundra: *looks back at her and raises an eyebrow at her* "Really?"

OOC: good to know

Rouge: *nods* i'm being honest.

ooc: yeah.

Tundra: Hmm well... but still i cant even think about hurting other rouge, you got to understand that....

Rouge: *sighs* yeah, but even if Mom doesn't want to kill you and dad, doesn't mean she won't. in the end, she'll choose evil over family.

Tundra: Rouge ask yourself this and ask mom this. What if she does kill me and dad, and what if she does rule as the empress of darkness. Then what? whats the point of ruling knowing that you just killed your mate/father & son/brother and for what? just to rule? If mom wanted to rule then she couldve been at dad's side ruling over the ice kingdom even if she wasnt a ice dragoness.

Rouge: there's more to it than just ruling. she---gah, i can't. i can't just give her plans away like that. i'll be greatly punished if i do.

Tundra: Well as far as i can see, its just ruling and killing anyone who stands in her way. But if there's more let me guess, she knows of a way to be immortal?

Rouge: *sighs* she hasn't given every detail, but there's a lot of steps to her plan. there's more to it than just ruling, killing, and heck, being immortal.

Tundra: I cant believe my own mom wants to get rid of everyone and become evil. I dont understand her, there must have been a reason why she liked my dad and spent a night with him. I cant believe she's all evil, its like shes corrupted or something.

Rouge: *looks away, as if hiding something*

Tundra: *Stares at rouge and begins to walk up to her.* Rouge? Do you know something I need to know? *he asked seriously demanding an answer.*

Rouge: *looks at him, chuckles nervously, then looks serious.* look, i can't tell you. i'd be in more trouble than you could possibly know.

ooc: i'm starting to get ideas for my story. i'm feeling like writing all of a sudden.

Tundra: ROUGE TELL ME NOW.... *he said demanding an answer as he looked down at her.*

Rouge: *blinks. them calmly speaks* i can't. its classified information. not even one of the stupid minions would this information away.

Tundra: *snarls at her* Rouge tell me, she's my mom for the ancestors sake. *he tried to say to her*

Rouge: *sighs* if i tell you, i'm going to be in a heap of trouble...

ooc: i'm going to post the next chapter now. oh, and about that little secret Rouge is trying to hide, you're about to get a glimpse of it in this chapter.

Chapter 83: A Higher Power

Rouge stared into the vision pool. she then saw a pair of glowing silver eyes staring back at her. the rest of the face was shrouded in grey mist, making it impossible to see anything more than the being's eyes.
"oh, its you. what do you want?" an elderly female voice hissed. the voice seemed to come from the vision pool.
"my mother is out on an errand. i was to report to you." she said.
"you are far too young to serve me now. where is your mother?"
"i told you, she is busy with something. she left me in charge. how may i serve you, great one?"
"tell me of the red one's friends. is the task complete?"
"Murkvenom and the others are working on that as we speak." she answered. the voice hissed.
"those fools are bound to screw up. when does your mother return?"
"soon. she was working on a part of the plan. darkness has not yet speard everywhere."
"well, do hurry. all the tasks must be completed for the plan to work fully."
"i know, ma'am. we are working on that, but the red one and her friends still fight us and slow us down."
"yes, i foresaw this. that is why you must eliminate that threat now. we must not allow them to prevent us from fulfilling the plan."
"do not worry, great one. we shall not fail you."
"see to it that you do not. i grow tiresome of being binded in this realm. i must be free. it has been ages since i set foot in the world."
"it has greatly changed, but i doubt you will have any trouble at all here, especially after the plan is set."
"well, do hurry, dear. we do not have time to dawdle. the dark hour draws nigh, and i must be ready by then."
"yes, of course. we will put all our efforts into the plan. you will be freed, great one, i assure you."
"do not make promises you can not keep, young one. i have heard that speech before. many have tried to free me, and not one was succeeded. do you truly think you will?"
"maybe not me, but my mother is close. i know she is. just be patient, great one." Rouge said. then there was the sound of footsteps approaching. "hmm, someone is coming, probally my mother. can you see who it is?" she asked. the silver eyes closed a moment, and then opened again.
"yes. indeed, it is Slean. do be a dear and leave me to speak to her in private. our conversations are not for young ears. run along now, child." the voice said. Rouge nodded. then she bowed.
"farewell, great one." she said. then Rouge disappeared. then the eyes faded from the vision pool. shortly after her disappearance, Slean walked into the room. she approached the vision pool, and looked inside.
"great one, i call you." she spoke. the eyes reappeared.
"ah, Slean. you return at last. how was the mission? successful, i hope?"
"indeed, it was. Glacier caved like i knew he would. soon, either he and Tundra will join us, or perish."
"good. spread the darkness everywhere. the influence of evil must reach all, and any sign of good must be slain for me to return again. for centuries i have kept the prophecy of my return memorized, line by line, awaiting the day when someone would be successful in freeing me. now i may very well have a chance. soon i shall be free from my imprisonment, but only if you succeed in the plan. my fate rests on your wings, Slean. fail me, and you shall perish like all evil before you who have tried to free me. however, if you succeed..." the voice chuckled lightly. "..then you shall recieve the greatest gift any form of evil could possess..." she said, a tone of evil in her voice.
