Warren knew very well whom he was talking about, but he was too modest to let him know how he has been taking care of him.
"Well yes, he lives not so far away from where Sholeh use to live." Warren said, as he prepared to lead the way. It felt strange not being needed for something that wasn't a ride for Sholeh, but it felt nice.

Meanwhile at the beach, Sybil contemplated the several dorsal fins that was covering the ocean at the moment. It felt strange seeing dorsal fins that wasn't that of orcas, and even scary that almost all of them belonged to sharks. They were there to help, but yet it was still a bit scary. Sybil then started to wonder why Komodo dragons and sharks, very aggressive species, would want to help them...

Crocux smiled "good then I need you to give him a message on the double. tell him that we need his help and we want him back. if he refuses to come then tell him about dad's condision. he holds a lot of respect for him and his conesrn would override his pride which would be the only reason why he hasn't come back. I would go with you but I'm needed else were for now."

Warren understood very well, being very use to follow order anyway.
"Sure thing Monsieur. I will go there right now." and the vulture proceeded to do just that. He was growing hungry, so one way or the other he had to go to the outback to look for carrion, which is what he was going to do right after delivering the message to the monitor...

Still at the beach, Sybil was getting restless. She needed to know why sharks would want to help plain land animals like themselves. She was with her mind set that almost everybody always wanted something in return, being her heart still to hardened for the past events, so she approached the water.
"Hey sharks. Anyone! Can anyone come?" she said, not being entirely sure who the leader was, so she expected any of them to approach her.

Sybil remembered that was the shark Zera came with, so she correctly concluded that was the leader.
"Oh. Well, I just have to know you see, why go through all this work, journey so far, just to help plain land animals?" Sybil asked, believing that the sharks would eventually want something in return for their very valuable help.

Sybil looked down for a while, trying to be convinced that that was all there was to it.
"Alright... if you say so." she said, looking at his dorsal fin and realizing Zera already solved the identification problem. She then proceeded to leave the shore, wondering if the Komodo dragon was already in her temporary home near Sybil's own tree...

At the outback, Warren was looking for the monitor.
"Hey Monsieur Saris. There is something very important I need to tell you." he said from outside his den, assuming he was home...

Saris hurried out saying "what is it Warren?"

Crocux soon joined Sybil and said "well help may or may not be on the way right now."

"Well, Monsieur Crocux sent me, see? There is a Komodo dragon set on conquering the island and we need all the help we can get. We are in a crisis too, since a wolvero=ine arrived at the island last night and some are very injured, including the cobra." he proceeded to explain, wondering if he would be indeed hard to convince if what Crocux told him was true.

"Thank you Crocux. We could have been better prepared, but that stupid wolverine's arrival took valuable time away from us." Sybil said furiously, not even remembering where the creature was at the moment, or that it was Crocux the one who killed it.

Crocux nodded "yea well be happy that I crushed it's head otherwise it would be causing even more trouble right now."

Saris heard the part about the cobra and said in a panicked voice "b-back up here. what did you just say?"

It was then that Sybil flinched, all getting back together. Crocux thought he had killed the wolverine, but she remembered what really happened.
"Yes... he won't causing trouble anymore." she said with a smile, gathering all the courage she could to make her lie convincing.

Warren backed away, believing that Saris was being hostile.
"Well you heard me. There is a Komodo dragon coming, and we would be ready, but a wolverine came and now the cobra Guardian is very hurt." Warren repeated, not liking Saris's attitude.

Saris's fear was correct he ran off for the Haven in a panic yelling "I'm coming Dad!"

Crocux wasn't fully convinced "was their in issue with desposing of it's body?"

With Warren's deed done, he went near dingo territory to see if they left something from their last hunt. He usually avoided the other vultures, since they were extremely competitive.

Sybil thought about it fast, and she knew she had to come up with a very convincing answer.
"Well, I was going to give the body to the orcas so that they could have some food for the drought, but you know how picky they are, plus, it stink. So we had to bury it." Sybil explained, knowing that if she said she threw it at the water, the possible lingering smell that could be around the Haven could arise suspicion.

Crocux wasn't fully convinced but decided not to press the issue "ok that makes sense."

with how fast Saris was moving he soon reached Haven and had to slow down to avoid running into trees. in his paniced pace he was half way to the beach already.

Sybil continued to walk with Crocux towards her tree, when she crashed with the running Saris.
"OOOH! Hey!" she exclaimed, seeing who it was.
"Oh, It's you. That was fast." she expressed, not knowing whether to be glad for the extra help or worried because she believed Saris was too prone to violence.

Around the forest, the warblers were preparing themselves for Shadow's arrival. All of them now knew their comrade's fall, and were very furious. The warbler was a loner, so not many knew him, but still it was infuriating how a creature like a wolverine would arrive when things were already desperate.

Saris didn't care he just said "sorry I'm in a hurry! Crocux were's dad!?" Crocux replies "at Hunted Island with Jack why?" but having the info he needs he takes off heading for Hunted Island.

OOC: Just so you all know, animals that are very numerous, like the warblers, can be controlled as random characters. It can be applied to the sharks too. And the Komodo dragons.

"Ask one of the sharks to take you!" Sybil said to the retreating Saris, believing that Jet and the other two were too busy or weak to help them with the rides at the moment.

Saris was already out of earshot though. luckly for him though moniters are great swimmers.

Sybil wasn't sure if Saris heard her or not, but she trusted that he would know what to do once he was there. Since Crocux was walking her home, she took the opportunity to be grateful to him.
"Crocux, thanks for everything you have done for the last couple of days. You've really been a big help." she said, though as she spoke, it terrified her to think how would he feel if he ever found out that he didn't succeeded in his elimination of the wolverine, or worse, that she has been lying to him.

AJ:
Seeing the tension, between the two, I sneak up on them. First I pounce on Sybil and then Crocux, before disappearing in the foliage, lying in wait to suprise them both at the same time.

Royal is with the warblers, watching them, to make sure no more harm befalls them, after one was devoured alive by the wolverine. He like the majority believe that he is dead, not knowing what is really the case. However his daily flight may change that.

Sybil was startled at first, but that didn't even last a second. She already knew who that was. She and Crocux then arrived to her tree.
"Well then Crocux. I better prepare my tree for when Shadow arrives. Thanks for escorting me, and watch out for any playful margays." she said jokingly, glancing on to where he disappeared.

The warblers were very glad by Royal's company, having accepted him as one of their own. Some believed it was such a shame that the wolverine attack as during the daytime, since they believed Royal could have killed him during the day before he had the chance to attack.
All of the warblers were covering their trees with thorns like Barloc's idea, having watched the cockatoos after a few of them visited Hunted island. They didn't follow the ant idea, since that could endanger many of the Haven residents, though they believed that the thorny vines were enough protection from the hostile Komodo dragons.

"Hmm, that may be difficult. I can't think of any material sturdy enough to protect them. And if I did, then it would take a lot of time to craft..." Sybil said, while still thinking, she then had an idea.
"Wait, I know. You could use wood from the tree trunks. We can find the sturdiest wood possible and you can tie them to your body to protect yourself." Sybil then suggested, remembering that she used a similar armor when she used was undergoing her Matthews persona.

Sybil needed to gather materials to protect her tree anyway, so she offered to help.
"Of course come. We have some maple trees a mile from here. It doesn't have the strongest wood, but it's the tree that falls the most." Sybil explained, thinking it was better to use wood of fallen trees rather to cut them and risk destroying a warbler's home.

Sholeh was prepared. She already had her tree protected thanks to her fence, and since she made Jr. make it more sturdy, she was calm. She had the stick she meant to use to fend off the wolverine, so she also had a weapon. She wondered if Shadow was going to try to convince her to join his side again, but unlike the last time, Sholeh wasn't willing to ruin the life she had right now, since she knew that trying to kill Sybil always brought suffering to her.

Sybil lead Zera to the maple trees and was indeed a high volume of fallen trees there. Perhaps it was because the wind stream was the strongest there.
"Here we are Zera. You and the rest of the Komodo dragons can use this place for whatever you need. There is even a small creek around here that you can use to drink water... if it's not dried up." Sybil explained, then submerging deep in thought, wondering if she could trust Zera about the wolverine...

Once again at Sholeh's tree, she was starting to believe that she could convince Shadow of not hurting her, but also convince him that she won't be able to help him so that she won't get in trouble. One way or the other, she was glad of him and his army arriving. The warblers were becoming extremely numerous due to the lack of predators that could control their population, so the mongoose truly believed that his arrival was for the best.

"Well then, you better call the others. I was thinking of putting some sort of identification to our dragon friends like we did with the sharks, but I doubt Shadow would have an army with an armor, or one similar for that matter." Sybil said, letting Zera to do her work and ready to tell the warblers to spread the news to the other Komodos in order to meet Zera there. She was still in thought on whether to trust Zera about the wolverine, but she decided she could do it later.

"Sure thing." Sybil said, looking around to see if there were any warblers nearby, since not many traveled to that place with so many fallen trees. But right there, there was Lumos, who was resting with a ray of sunshine coming out of the foliage after travelling to Sozen's cold mountain home.
"Hey Lumos, mind if I trouble you for a moment?" she asked, and since he was finally warm and well rested, he answered.
"Not at all. I need the exercise." he said, wanting to be as useful as Peepers always was. After Sybil explained what needed to be done, he lend the news to the rest of the warblers so that they could tell any roaming dragons to meet Zera at the maple trees.

Knowing how fast news traveled with the warblers, Sybil was about to visit Ravage to see how he was doing, but she didn't want to risk being followed. She then went to Sayan's den to see how he and Rose were doing.
"Hey Sayan! Rose!" she called from outside the den, figuring they must have returned there to rest after the wolverine incident.

Crocux smiled "it was all my pleasure Sybil" and he left heading home. Saris was already half way to hunted island in his panic and he wasn't stopping

"Oh." Sybil sighed, not having noticed how ugly the wounds were. They didn't seemed deep though, so that was a good sign.
"Hey Rose. Nice to see you again." she said kindly, before expressing what she really came for.
"Is Sayan with you? I really need to talk to him." she asked, knowing he was the only one she could trust with the wolverine issue.

"I just need to ask him a question." Sybil said, not going into detail. She knew it would be too much for Rose if she ever found out about the wolverine.

"I'm here.," Sayan said getting up. He looked at Sybil and could tell it was an important matter-- that important matter. "I promise... I'll be right back.," he said quickly kissing Rose as a sign of reassurance.

Sybil lead Sayan far away from the finally tied up Rose, in case she decided to eavesdrop on them.
"Alright Sayan, you know this is an urgent matter.mof course, you know what I'm talking about." Sybil said, knowing that Sayan was fully aware on why she was going to call him very often.
"That wolverine Sayan. What are we going to do? Who is going to feed him? If I do it, I'm afraid someone might follow. You know how the warblers always like to know everything." Sybil said, knowing that with so many warblers around, one was bound to get curious and discover their secret.
"And what's worse, I had to lie to Crocux. He really believes he did the job well. What if he finds out the truth?" Sybil then expressed, being concerned about him the most. The crocodile was usually friendly, but had a very unstable personality, and she knew it could offend his pride if he finds out he failed, or shatter the trust between him and Sybil if he finds out she lied to him.

"I suppose I would have to-- it wouldn't be too much of a stretch seeing as I hunt for Rose anyway.," Sayan suggested knowing the extra time involved wouldn't be too noticed. "As for Crocux-- we may have to tell him and the others before anyone finds out on their own. It's only a matter of time and at least-- we'll be able to present our case in our own way. If someone gets too close-- we may have to loop them in and hope they don't tell.," he then added also realising that they wouldn't always be there for the wolverine. Between his duties to his mate and Sybil's duties to the Haven-- perhaps bringing in a third wouldn't be too bad when the time was right.

"Alright, Sayan, we'll see Rose and we'll discuss about this more later." Sybil said after hearing the tiger's call, thinking Rose wanted them for something else, since she was certain their whisper and with being quite far away was enough for Rose not to hear them. She then headed to Sayan's den with him to see what she wanted...

After learning about the wolverine's death and obtaining information on Speckles's whereabouts, Skali and Voraci made their way towards the kea tree. Although frazzled, they were much calmer than before.
"That wasn't very like you," Skali commented.
"What do you mean?"
"You never group a whole species like that into one kind of behavior. You always acknowledge that people are different."
"Ah, well, I wasn't really myself at that moment, sweetheart," he laughed with good nature. "We were in quite a state, after all."
"Yeah, well, at least whatever that was, it's gone for good. You don't survive a bite from a crocodile."
"Not with a bite power like that. When he's fully grown, he'll be able to snap trees!"
"Ha, Shilise wouldn't like that."
The mention of the plover made Voraci groan faintly with remembrance. "I heard that Sozen didn't take too kindly to what you said about him"
"Well, he shouldn't have been eavesdropping. And he should be able to accept criticism like an adult when it's given! Oh, and funny thing, I didn't hear a single bit of thunder when that big gremlin was tearing up the place. He should have been looking for that thing before it got someone killed!"
"Skali, please, don't."
"Ugh! Whatever, fine."

At the kea's tree, Speckles was still with Mambo, Cole and Cheryl. Although the siblings believed it was OK to finally let Speckles go, Mambo refused, since he didn't want to leave such a tiny, helpless animal all alone in the foliage. So Cole volunteered to look for his snake friends so that they could hand the little worm to them and he could be safe.

"Hey miss Skaliscin! Mrs. Voracivenom!" the kea called, imagining they were nearby since the wolverine's death was probably spread through the entire Haven by now.

Saris was startaled at first but calmed down. as soon as the reached hunted Saris got off and said "thanks I've gotta run now" and took off in the general direction to whirlpool's den yelling "Dad! Dad! Dad were are you!?"

Sybil lowered her head and put her paw over her eyes, now realizing that they should have gone much further than that.
"Maybe we should have spoken at Hunted island." Sybil said sarcastically, very upset.
"Yes Rose, it's true. But don't come chanting it everywhere! You know how gossips like that travel around here. Nobody must find out, especially Crocux." Sybil instructed, doubting Rose would be discrete enough to keep such an awful secret.

Sybil had enough about being so noble about everything, so she jut put it to Rose bluntly.
"Because we didn't want to cause you any unnecessary worries. And because we don't want you suddenly mentioning it and have a warbler hear you." Sybil confessed, very angry about Rose hearing everything. It angered her so much that she couldn't have any private conversations without somebody eavesdropping. First Sozen and now Rose. Sybil was furious.

"No we didn't!" Sybil expressed, wanting to make a case to her favor.
"We didn't tell you, true, but we didn't lie either since you never asked about it in the first place." Sybil then said, believing that if you didn't say anything about a fact, you didn't lie since you never said anything to begin with.
