Okay, so I know I rarely finish my Fan-Fictions due to some crazy reasons, however I'm gonna try my best to finish this one. I'm gonna use ideas from all my other attempts at Skylander Fan-Fictions, and I'll hopefully make (and finish) a story that's worth reading. For those who would like to know, this will be based on the first Skylanders game, and will feature some original characters (no original Skylanders yet though).

No that that is out of the way, let's begin.

Prologue - The Ancient Cave

An young man walked inside a cave. He wore a blue robe around his body, which contained a light blue gem in the centre, and a sash which had eight different symbols on them.
On his right hand, he wore a golden bracelet. On his left hand, he wore a golden ring. On his head, he wore a blue helmet, which contained a light blue orb.
In his left hand, he carried a staff, which had a light blue orb attached on top.

That man was known as Eon.

"I've finally found it." he cheered. "The Ancient Cave of Worlds!"
Slowly walking inside, he looked around.
On the side of the caves, were markings. Those markings looked almost identical to the ones which he had on his sash.
"Air. Water. Earth. Life. Tech. Undead. Fire. Magic." Eon said underneath his breath. "The eight elements which make up this world."

Eon continued to walk through the cave. Eventually, he arrived inside an ancient room.
"This must be it."
He approached a pedestal in the centre of the room. It had some ancient text engraved onto it.
"For those who seek the distant land, the ancient staff must be in hand." Eon read. "Hold it up where you stand, for you to find this distant land."
He then held up his staff into the air. A beam of light shot out of it and hit the wall in front.
Eon stared ahead. "What did I get myself into?"

200 Years Later...

Eon sat in his chair. His once brown beard, now white.
He looked up into the sky.
"The Darkness returns..."

Chapter 1: Eon VS Kaos

Eon walked outside his home - which was the building located on Core Island.
Eon is the current Portal Master of Skylands - the magical set of islands which are located high up into the Sky.
Being a Portal Master, he was fortunate enough to be born with the power to control the mystical Portals.
These Portals allow transportation of living creatures, however these Portals are mainly used for one reason - to transport the Guardians of Skylands to any place that needs help! Those Guardians are known as the Skylanders!
The Skylanders are a group of creatures from around the world who each have special abilities - each of which are separated into eight categories, or Elements. Magic, Tech, Water, Life, Undead, Air, Earth, and Fire. Each Skylander is placed into an Element depending on their skills.

Eon is currently the last remaining Portal Master on Skylands. Well, except for...
"Kaos..." Eon muttered, while looking up into the Sky.
Dark clouds were forming around the Sky above.
"What could he be up to?" Eon thought to himself.

Continuing to look upwards, he noticed a giant castle fly over.
A beam of light shot down out of it, and a small human creature wearing a black cape descended. He also had black markings around his eyes, which were glowing with a strong blood red colour.

The human landed outside the building.
He looked up at Eon.
"Well Eon. It's been a while, hasn't it." he calmly said.
"Kaos! You have no right being here!" Eon announced. "What do you want?"
Kaos smiled. "It's simple. All I want is for you to give up Skylands. Pass the deed of this island off to me so I can be ruler, and nobody will get hurt."
"I'd rather die than give Skylands to you!" Eon cried. "Now, leave this place immediately, or I will be forced to call the Skylanders!"

Kaos held up his fist. "You wont forget this Eon! I will take control of Skylands, even if I have to eliminate anybody who gets in my way!"
Eon chuckled. "Really Kaos? You can't even beat me in a game of cards!"
"That was a one-off!" Kaos shouted in anger.
"We've been playing cards every first Thursday of each month for the past two years." Eon reminded. "That 'one-off' seems to be lasting for a while."
Kaos grew more angry. "ENOUGH! I shall return soon. And when I do, you and your Skylanders better be ready for battle."

The beam of light picked Kaos up, and pulled him back into the Castle.
It then flew off.

Hugo, Eon's Mabu assistant walked over. Hugo wore a green jacket and wore thick black glasses. He is well known as the smartest Mabu in all of Skylands.
"Master Eon!" Hugo called out. "Is everything alright?"
Eon turned to face Hugo. "For now."
"Is there anything you need me to do?" Hugo asked.
Eon thought for a moment. "Could you send a message out to all of the Skylanders? I would like to speak with them soon."
Hugo nodded. "Will do. What time?"
"Four hours will do." Eon replied. "We need to give them time to reach here. They're always busy helping out - which is good."
"Okay then, Master Eon." Hugo said, running inside the building.

Eon looked up.
"I think I know exactly why Kaos wants this place."

A purple Dragon ran across a wrecked island. He had golden horns, claws and wings.
That was Spyro the Dragon. He's the leader of the Magic Element, and also the leader of the Skylanders. He managed to achieve the title of leader because of his many adventures across the land.

Spyro looked around. Almost everything on the island was destroyed.
All the plants had died. The ground had split into pieces. Not even the sun was shining.
"What could have happened to this place?" he wondered. "It was only last week when this place was filled with energy."

Continuing to look around, Spyro noticed a small cave with a bright light emerging from inside.
Becoming curious, Spyro walked inside.
On the walls, there were strange drawings, and writing in a language he was unfamiliar with.
One drawing caught his eye.
It was a drawing of a group of eight humans - three boys and five girls. Above each of their heads was one of the Elements. Above them all were two stones. A dark stone and a light stone. Underneath was written the words 'Congregabunt electos octo. Ad speluncam mundi, omnium revelabitur'.
Unsure with what this meant, Spyro continued to look around.
He then found the source of the light - a glowing white stone.
He picked it up and looked at it. It appeared to be quite unique.
"What is all this?" he questioned.

Chapter 2: Banished!

Spyro walked outside the cave, continuing to hold the stone.
Looking upwards towards the sky, he saw a flash of light.
A message then appeared.
It read 'Attention Skylanders. Meet at the Core of Light in four hours. - Hugo'
Spyro sighed. "Can't he find an easier way to communicate with us?"
He opened his wings and flew off into the Sky.

The Skylanders had all gathered on Core Island, by the Core of Light.
Spyro looked around.
Two Skylanders stood next to him.
A blue Gillman wearing armour, a water jetpack and carrying a harpoon was to his left. That was Gill Grunt, leader of the Water Element.
An orange gremlin holding a golden gun in each hand was to his right. That was Trigger Happy, leader of the Tech Element.
Both of them were Spyro's good friends.

"Hard to believe how many of us there are." Spyro commented.
"Yeah, I'm always losing count." Gill Grunt replied. "How many Skylanders do you think are here, Trig?"
Trigger Happy looked around a few times, then responded. "More than ten."
"Obviously." Spyro chuckled.
"Well I can't count higher than ten." Trigger Happy responded.
"What?" Gill Grunt asked. "It was just the other day, you counted up to 243."
"Why would I count that high?" Trigger Happy questioned.
"You counted how many bullets you fired at the practice targets." Gill Grunt replied.
Trigger Happy thought for a moment. "Oh yeah..."
"Hey, I think Eon is about to speak." Spyro mention, trying to change the topic.

Eon stepped in front of the Skylanders.
"Skylanders!" he announced. "Earlier today I spoke with Kaos. He wants Skylands, and is willing to fight for it. I want you all to be on guard for whenever he attacks."
"Which is now!" Kaos's voice echoed.

His Castle flew overhead.
Beams of light appeared, and a whole army of Trolls, Cyclopses, Drow and Spell Punks descended.
"Minions! Prepare for battle!" Kaos announced.
"Skylanders! To battle!" Eon announced.

"For Skylands!" Spyro cried, as he lead the Skylanders towards battle.

Kaos watched as the Skylanders battled his army.
A troll walked in. "Master Kaos, are you sure this is a good idea?"
"Glumshanks, do you have no faith in my evil plans?" Kaos asked in reply.
"No. They never work." the troll replied.
"Well, maybe it's because you never believe in them." Kaos commented.
"What?" Glumshanks asked, in confusion.
"You gotta believe!" Kaos cheered.
"Master, you are freaking me out right now." Glumshanks said.
"Nevermind that now. Keep sending out the minions!" Kaos cheered.

Glumshanks sighed. "Fine."

The Skylanders battled fiercely against Kaos's Evil Army.
Everyone was determined to win.

Spyro flew around, breathing fire everywhere.
He landed next to the Dirt Shark, Terrafin, the black Dragon, Cynder, and a Tree Monster, Stump Smash.
"You guys ready?" Spyro asked.
"You bet we are." Cynder replied, hiding in the shadows, knocking out the surrounding trolls.

Terrafin belly slammed the Drow.
"I'm going belly up boom!" he announced.
The Ice Yeti, Slam Bam, ran over and threw some Drow at Stump Smash. "Stump Smash! Drop the Hammer!"
Stump Smash knocked the Drow into Spyro's flames using his stump fists.
"Okey dokey!" he replied.

Gill Grunt flew past on his water jetpack, firing Harpoons everywhere.
A Dragon wearing robot armour, known as Drobot, flew past and shot lasers in the places Gill Grunt missed, while a Troll called Boomer released a Troll Smash to knock out any survivors.

Trigger Happy ran past, hitting the newly summoned Ogres in the face with his golden bullets.
"Here comes Trigger Happy, in the face!" he cried.
A Bambazooker, called Zook, shot some rockets past Trigger Happy, and at the Ogres.
"Bamboo-Ya!" he cheered.

Kaos continued to watch the battle.
"Master, I think we're losing." Glumshanks commented.
"Yes. But I anticipated this!" Kaos announced. "It is time for... Plan B!"
He pulled out a remote and pressed a big red button.

The button caused a beam of energy to be fired from the Castle.
It hit the Core of Light.

"No!" Eon cried. "Not the Core!"

The laser's impact destroyed the Core of Light, and created a huge explosion - covering the entire Island.
Eon became engulfed in the explosion, while Kaos's Castle was pushed back.
All of the Skylanders were shot up into space as a result of the explosion too.
"Hang on guys!" Spyro called out.

As the Skylanders shot upwards, then began to freeze in position.
Suddenly, the stone Spyro was carrying began glowing. The light engulfed the Skylanders, and shot them off towards a distant planet.

Meanwhile...

A teenage boy sat on a bench in a school in London. He was 15 years old.
He had short brown hair. He wore a white shirt, a blue tie, and black trousers - as it was the school's uniform.
He began looking at his phone.
"Reality is boring." he commented. "I wish something exciting would happen already."

Chapter 3: Earth

A teenage boy sat on a bench in a school in London. He was 15 years old.
He had short brown hair. He wore a white shirt, a blue tie, and black trousers - as it was the school's uniform.
He began looking at his phone.
"Reality is boring." he commented. "I wish something exciting would happen already."

That boy's name was Dan. He is well known around his school as he is almost always on some sort of electronic device.

Three girls stood there and watched him.
The first girl had long brown hair in a ponytail. Her name was Kate.
The second had short blonde hair. Her name was Lucy.
The last girl had long blonde hair in a ponytail. Her name was Hannah.
All three wore a white shirt, a blue tie, and a black skirt.

"Why is he always alone?" Kate commented. "He shouldn't just sit there and ignore everyone."
"Well he must have his reasons." Lucy mentioned.
"I don't ignore everyone." Dan said, looking over at the girls. "I just choose not to speak to others."
"So why is it you talk to us?" Hannah asked.
"Because you never leave me alone." Dan replied. "You three are always following me around. Why is that?"
All three girls became shocked by that sudden question, and their faces turned red.
"W-We're just worried about you, that's all!" Hannah quickly replied.
"Y-Yeah!" Lucy agreed.
"N-Nothing wrong with that, right?" Kate asked.
"There is when your faces are red like that." Dan replied.
All three girls' faces then turned redder, and they ran off into the opposite direction.

A boy then walked over to Dan.
He had short black hair, combed over to the side. He wore the same uniform as Dan.
That was Steve.
"What's up with them?" Steve asked.
"I asked them why they were always following me, then they got embarrassed and ran off." Dan replied. "Simple."
Steve began thinking. "You think they like you?"
"Who knows." Dan replied. "But either way, I don't care."
Steve sighed. "Yep, that figures."

Dan sat in a computer room. Last lesson of the day was ICT.
Steve sat on the computer next to him, while Kate, Hannah and Lucy sat on the computers at the other side of the room.

The three girls continued to stare at Dan.
"We should ask him to hang out with us." Kate suggested. "Maybe that will snap him back into reality."
"That's a good idea." Lucy said. "Who's gonna ask him?"
All three sat in silence.
"Rock, Paper, Scissors?" all three mentioned at once.


Dan sat at the computer. He was on a program designing a web page.
"You really do spend a lot of time on computers." Steve commented. "You're making web design look easy."
"It is easy." Dan replied. "You just need to know how to do it."
"Yeah, I guess." Steve commented. "But it's still a tough thing to learn. I still don't underst..."
"I think we're being watched." Dan interrupted, turning around.

Hannah walked over to them.
"Hey Dan!" she greeted.
"No." Dan replied, turning back around.
"You don't even know what I'm going to say yet!" Hannah argued.
"The answer's still no." Dan replied.
"At least listen to what she has to say, Dan." Steve said.
Dan turned around again. "Okay, what is it?"
"Maybe I don't want to tell you now, since you were so rude." Hannah said, turning her head away.
"Okay, see ya." Dan said, looking back at the computer screen.
"You could at least act like you wanted to know what I was going to say." Hannah said.
Dan looked over at her.
"Oh please tell me this wonderful news of yours! I really want to hear it!" Dan sarcastically replied.
Both Steve and Hannah stared at him.
"Too much sarcasm?" Dan asked.
"Too much sarcasm." Steve replied.

"Either way..." Hannah said, trying to get to the point. "Me and the girls are hanging out around the shops after school, and we wanted to know if you wanted to join us."
"Sounds fun." Steve said.
"I'll pass." Dan said.
"Why?" Hannah asked.
"Sounds too normal." Dan replied.
"That's because it is normal." Hannah replied.
"Exactly." Dan replied.
"Come on Dan." Steve said. "Since you've been invited, you should at least accept the offer. They only want to be friends with you."
"The reply to my question earlier tells me otherwise." Dan comments.
Hannah's face turned red. "W-well the offer still stands. Tell us if you change your mind."
She runs back over to Kate and Lucy.

"You really know what the best things to say to a girl are, don't you." Steve sarcastically remarked.
"I only said the truth." Dan replied.
"So are you gonna hang out with them?" Steve asked.
"Thing's might get awkward, so no." Dan replied.
Steve sighed. "Would it be less awkward if I tagged along?"
"Probably not." Dan replied.
"Well, things probably wouldn't have gone with ease anyway." Steve said with a smil. "You guys wouldn't have clicked anyway."
"Puns. My only weakness..." Dan said with a sigh. "Okay, I'll go."

Kate, Hannah and Lucy stood by the school gates.
"You think he's gonna join us?" Kate asked.
"With what he said earlier, I doubt it." Hannah replied.
"But there's still a chance he might join us, right?" Lucy asked.
"Yeah! We just have to believe!" Kate cheered.
All three raised their arms in the air and cheered.

Dan and Steve watched them.
"You sure this is a good idea?" Dan asked.
"Not anymore..." Steve replied.
Dan sighed. "Let's get this over with."

They approached the girls.
"Hey! I decided I want to hang out after all!" Dan said to them.
"You did?" the three said in joy.
"Unfortunately..." Dan muttered under his breath.
"What was that?" Lucy asked.
"Nothing!" Dan replied. "Let's go!"

Dan awkwardly walked away with the girls following.
Steve watched. "Let's hope nothing happens to mess this up."

Meanwhile...

The Skylanders, burning in the atmosphere, all began crashing into a distant planet known as 'Earth'...

Chapter 4: Spyro

Dan awkwardly walked around London with Kate, Hannah and Lucy.
"So, Dan." Kate said. "Any place you want to visit?"
"GAME." Dan replied, without hesitation.
"Can't you go one day without thinking about computers?" Kate asked.
"Yes." Dan replied. "Sometimes I think about video games."
Kate sighed. "Same thing, you know."
"Yes and no." Dan replied.
"Before we head there, let's go to Primark." Lucy said. "There's a new dress that I wanna get."
"Sure, let's head there now." Kate cheered. "It's on the way, anyway."
Dan sighed, and followed the three girls as they walked off.


A man wearing a black cape was watching Dan and the girls.
He pulled out his phone, and put it up to his head.
"Target is on the move." he said. "Shall I continue to watch?"
...
He pulled back the phone and looked at it.
"Maybe I should dial a number first..."

Dan stood outside Primark, waiting for the girls.
"Man, I wish something would just happen already." he commented.

CRASH!

The ground around shook.
"Earthquake?" he asked himself. "No, England never gets earthquakes. But what was that crash?"
He looked around, and saw a small cloud of smoke in the distance.
"Looks like something interesting is finally about to happen!" he commented, as he ran off towards it.

The girls walked out of the shop, each carrying a bag.
"We're back! Now of to..." Kate started, right as she noticed Dan was gone. "Where is he?"

Dan ran up to a park. He saw a statue of a purple Dragon in the middle.
Surprisingly, nobody else was around.
"Hey, is that..." Dan commented. "Spyro?"
Slowly approaching the statue, he noticed a faint glow.
Upon getting closer, the statue began glowing more.
Looking at his hands, Dan noticed they were also glowing, but only slightly.

Dan raised his hands and pointed them at the statue. A flash of light occurred, and the statue began shaking.
Spyro then broke free.
"All Fired Up!" Spyro cried out.

Dan was left speechless.
Spyro looked at him. "Were you the one who freed me?"
"I... I think so." Dan replied, unsure about what just happened.
"So you must be a Portal Master!" Spyro said. "But I thought Master Eon was the last Portal Master left..."
"I'm having trouble understanding this." Dan said. "Could you explain everything to me?"
Spyro nodded. "Sure. Let's go to your place."

Dan and Spyro sat in Dan's house.
"And that's about it." Spyro replied.
"In short, it's like the game?" Dan asked.
"There's a game?" Spyro asked in confusion. "Knowing that sooner would have been useful. How many other games are there?"
"Not many Skylanders games, but quite a few Spyro the Dragon games." Dan replied.
"I feel special." Spyro commented. "Anyway, we shouldn't get off topic. If you don't mind me asking, where exactly are we? Planet? Town?"
"On Earth." Dan replied. "In London, which is in England."
"Strange names." Spyro commented. "Anyway, what's our next plan?"
Dan thought. "We should try to find a way to bring you back to Skylands first. But finding the other Skylanders would also be useful."
"If only there were more Portal Masters." Spyro said.
"Wait..." Dan replied. "What if there are?"
"What do you mean?" Spyro asked.
"You said you thought Eon was the last Portal Master right?" Dan asked.
"Yeah." Spyro replied.
"But that's on your planet." Dan replied. "You didn't know about me being a Portal Master because I'm on a different planet."
"I think I understand." Spyro said. "If I understand correctly, then you're saying there may be others that we don't know about!"
Dan nodded. "But we need to find them first. If only we knew how..."

"Maybe Hugo could help?" Spyro asked.
"If I remember the game correctly, he's the smart Mabu that always know what to do." Dan replied.
"Yeah, sounds about right." Spyro commented. "If I could find a way to communicate with him, then maybe he could help us."
Dan thought. "Does he have Skype?"

Kate, Hannah and Lucy sat down on a bench.
"I can't believe he ditched us." Kate complained.
"Really?" Hannah asked. "I can."
"Yeah, I can too." Kate replied. "I don't know why I said that."
"Do you think he got tired of waiting?" Lucy asked.
"Who knows." Hannah replied. "Maybe he really didn't want to hang out with us."
"Then why did he tag along in the first place?" Kate asked.
"Steve probably used his weakness against him." Lucy replied.
"Weakness?" Kate asked.
"I don't know much about it, but I overheard him mention it earlier today." Lucy replied.
"We need to find out that weakness!" Kate cheered, standing up, raising her fist in the air.
"Yeah!" Hannah cheered, doing the same.
Lucy facepalmed. "People are staring..."


The man wearing the black cape watched the three girls.
He smiled, and pulled a glowing black stone out of his pocket.
"Now we wait."

I'll include some parts that relate to the game in the next chapter, but it won't be entirely the same.

Are the first onesfound related to the originals with the best stats? Because those are spyro, gill grunt, trigger happy, stealth elf, cynder, eruptor, bash, and whirlwind.

At the moment, I don't know which ones will be found first, but I am open to suggestions.

Chapter 5: Building a Portal

Dan loaded Skype on his Laptop.
Spyro typed in a username.
"hugoisawesome69?" Dan asked. "That is seriously his username?"
"Unfortunately, yes." Spyro replied. "Anyway... Yes! This is it. Now we just add as friend, and... oh, accepted already."
"Great, now we call him." Dan said, beginning a video call.

The call started. Hugo appeared on webcam.
"Yes? Can I help you?" Hugo asked.
"Hugo, it's me. Spyro." Spyro said, getting onto the webcam with Dan.
Hugo gasped. "Master Spyro! You're okay!"
"To be honest, I'm more surprised that you're okay." Spyro replied. "How did you survive the explosion?"
"I hid underground." Hugo replied, with confidence.
"That's not something to be proud of..." Dan said.
Hugo looked at Dan. "Who's this boy?"
"My name is Dan." Dan replied. "I'm a Portal Master, apparently."
"I was frozen as a statue until he showed up." Spyro added.
"That's... That's amazing!" Hugo cheered. "How many others are there?"
"That's actually the reason we called..." Spyro replied, slowly. "We'd like to know if there's any way to detect a Portal Master."
Hugo thought. "We can't specifically tell who is and who isn't a Portal Master, but I should be able to find out how many there are on your planet."
"Great!" Dan cheered. "How long will it take?"
"Already done." Hugo said, typing on his laptop.
Hugo began reading.
"I've detected a total of eight different Portal Masters on the planet Earth." Hugo replied. "Earth? Huh. And I thought Skylands was a weird name."
"Any locations?" Dan asked.
Hugo shook his head. "I can't pinpoint locations just yet. But give me time."
"Okay, thanks Hugo." Spyro said. "Oh, and how are things up in Skylands?"
Hugo sighed. "Not good, I'm afraid. Master Eon was engulfed in the explosion. I think he might have..."
"Oh..." Spyro replied. "Then what shall we do?"
"For now, things are fine." Hugo said. "But for now, you have three objectives."
"Which are?" Dan asked.
"One. Find the Skylanders." Hugo stated. "Two. Find the other Portal Masters. Three..."
"Find the Portal back to Skylands." Spyro finished.
Hugo nodded. "Even if it's only a temporary Portal."

Dan thought. "Is it possible to make one?"
Hugo thought. "Yes, but you'll need a great source of power, such as... Wait. What's that?"
Hugo noticed a faint glow emerging from Spyro.
Spyro took out the stone from earlier. "This? I found it in a cave in Skylands."
Hugo gasped. "I think that may be the Legendary Light Stone! That should give enough power to transport someone to Skylands. But, it needs a base."
Dan thought. "I got it."
He quickly ran upstairs.

When Dan got back down, he was holding a Portal from his Skylanders game.
"That should work!" Hugo cheered. "All you need to do is combine the stone with the Portal, and it should transport a Skylander to Skylands! But only when used by a Portal Master."
"This may take some time..." Dan commented. "Give me a day or two."
Hugo nodded. "Be quick."
"I'll try." Dan replied, walking away.

"By the way, Spyro." Hugo said. "Could we talk more about that stone?"
"Like what?" Spyro asked.
"The cave where you found it." Hugo replied. "Anything worth mentioning?"
Spyro thought. "Yeah. There was a weird drawing. There were eight people standing there - three boys and fie girls. Each had an elemental symbol above them. There were also drawings of a dark stone and a light stone. The light one looked exactly like this one."
"Any writing?" Hugo asked.
"Yes, but I didn't understand it." Spyro replied. "Congregabunt electos octo. Ad speluncam mundi, omnium revelabitur."
"How did you remember something so complicated?" Hugo asked, in amazement.
"I'm of the Magic Element." Spyro reminded. "It's easy to remember things like that."
"Anyway, I'm no expert." Hugo continued. "But I think that's... Latin."
"Could you translate?" Spyro asked.
Hugo shook his head. "I'm afraid I don't know much Latin. You'll have to find someone who does."
"That'll be tough." Spyro replied.

Dan walked back into the room. "I'm heading out for a bit to get some tools. I'll be back soon."
"Okay." Spyro replied. "Keep an eye out for some SKylanders!"

Steve was walking around London.
He looked around, and noticed Kate, Hannah and Lucy.
Kate and Hannah were standing with their fists raised in the air. Lucy awkwardly sat there in embarrassment.

He approached them.
"How long have you been there like that?" Steve asked.
Lucy looked at her watch. "They've been like that for about an hour now."
"Strange." Steve commented. "Anyway, where's Dan?"
"When we got out of the shop, he was gone." Lucy replied.
"Wait, let me guess." Steve said. "Kate was trying to think of a way to find Dan, you mentioned an idea, Kate made the plan, and them two cheered and froze like that."
"Good guess." Lucy commented with smile. "That's correct."
"It happens way too often." Steve sighed.
"Agreed." Lucy agreed.
"So what was the plan?" Steve asked.
"To find out Dan's weakness." Lucy replied. "And use it against him."
"For good or evil?" Steve jokingly asked.
"To be honest, I don't know." Lucy replied, with a laugh.

Steve looked at Kate and Hannah.
"Think we should take them home?" Steve asked.
Lucy nodded. "Good idea."
Steve took Kate's arm and Lucy took Hannah's arm. They then dragged the two away.


Dan, who was now wearing a black hoodie, quickly ran past the four.
He carried a bag with a few screwdrivers and bolts.
Running around, he felt something.
He stopped running.
Looking around, Dan noticed a faint light in an alley.
He slowly walked into the alley, and noticed a statue of a Dragon wearing a robotic armour.
That was Drobot.

"Let's see if I remember this..." Dan said, raising his hand and pointing it at Drobot.
A light emerged from his hand and Drobot's statue.
The statue began glowing and Drobot broke free.
"Blink and Destroy!" Drobot cried out.

"Wow, what great timing!" Dan commented.

Steve, Lucy, Kate and Hannah were in Kate's house.
Kate and Hannah were still frozen in position.
"So, uh... How do we un-freeze them?" Steve asked.
"Just break the glass." Lucy replied, pointing at the wall.

Steve walked up to a glass container which read 'In case of being frozen due to Kate's idea, break glass.'
Behind the glass was a photo of Dan.
"I honestly don't know if I should be afraid or worried right now." Steve commented, breaking the glass.
He took the photo and held it in front of Kate and Hannah.
The two blinked, then collapsed.

"Where did you get that photo?" Kate asked.
"From behind the emergency glass." Steve replied.
Kate grabbed the photo, and held it close to her.
"Definitely afraid." Lucy replied.
"By the way, Steve." Kate began. "Do you know what Dan's weakness is?"
"Of course I do." Steve replied.
"Tell us it!" both Kate and Hannah demanded, standing up.
"Why should I tell you anything?" Steve replied.
Kate and Hannah slowly walked close to Steve and smiled.
"Because we'll give you something that we know you'll really enjoy." Hannah replied.
"You don't know I'll enjoy it." Steve nervously said, slowly moving back.
"Trust us, you will." Kate said, smiling.
The two leaned close to Steve and smiled.

Lucy sighed. "This isn't going to end up like you think it will. This is going to remain friendly for all ages."

Chapter 6: Umbra

Dan walked outside his house in his school uniform.
It was now the next day, and Drobot said that he could have the Temporary Portal completed by the time Dan gets home from school.
Spyro also said that he'd spend the day looking around from the sky, and he'll contact Dan if he found anything.
"Well, I hope I'm not forgetting anything." Dan mentioned.
He then remembered about how he took off yesterday when he was supposed to hang out with Kate, Hannah and Lucy.
"Damn. I need to think of an excuse." Dan said. "I don't think they'll take me seriously if I told them that I'm helping the Skylanders return to Skylands..."

Dan walked into school. Steve stood near the entrance.
Steve approached him, and put his hand on Dan's shoulder.
"I'm sorry dude." Steve commented. "But they know."
"Who knows what?" Dan asked, in confusion.
"I couldn't resist." Steve continued, ignoring the question. "But it's like they knew my weakness!"
"You're beginning to creep me out..." Dan commented, unsure about what to do.
"Dan!"

Kate, Hannah and Lucy approached him.
"Oh, hey you three!" Dan awkwardly greeted. "I haven't thought of a believable excuse for why I left yesterday, so could you give me a few more minutes?"
"We only came to ask you to join us again today." Kate replied. "And if you need a few more minutes, then it's time you watch what you're doing."
Dan blinked. "Did you just..."
Dan looked at Steve, who had collapsed onto the floor.
"Did you tell them?" Dan asked.
"I couldn't help it!" Steve replied. "They offered me something that I really enjoyed!"
"Which was?" Dan asked.
"Cake." Steve replied, looking down.
"So?!" Dan argued. "That's no reason to tell them my secret!"
"It was some tasty cake." Steve replied. "And it was Chocolate Cake."
Dan thought, and put his hand on Steve's shoulder. "You did the right thing."

Dan, looked over at the girls. Kate and Hannah were smiling. Lucy stood there and facepalmed.
"Alright, you win." Dan said. "I'll hang out with you."
"Good." Kate began. "Also, you should..."

CRASH!

Three smoke bombs broke through the roof.
Smoke covered the entire room.
"Who's there?!" Dan called out.

As the smoke disappeared, the man wearing the black cape emerged.
"I am a being of darkness." he replied. "But you can call me... Umbra!"
He pulled off his black cape, to reveal his black clothes, medium length black hair, and a dark mask which covered the top half of his face.

"Why are you here?" Dan asked.
"Simple." Umbra replied. "To stop those who know what they shouldn't."
"That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever." Kate commented.
"It doesn't have to!" Umbra announced.

Umbra threw more smoke bombs, and smoke covered the entire room again.
Everyone began coughing.
In this moment, Umbra looked around and saw his target.
He ran over, and grabbed Hannah.
Just as he was about to make his escape, Steve jumped at him, and the three disappeared.

Spyro flew over as the smoke cleared.
"What happened here?" Spyro asked.
"This freak known as Umbra showed up saying something completely random." Dan replied.
Kate looked around. "Hey, where's Hannah?"
"Steve's gone too!" Lucy added.
"Did he capture them?" Spyro asked.
"I don't know, but we should think of a plan." Dan said. "This Umbra guy is clearly the enemy."
"Let's head back to your place then." Spyro said.
"But we still have school, though." Lucy said. "We can't go yet!"
Dan looked up at the giant hole in the roof which Umbra caused.
"I think we'll be fine." Dan replied.

Steve and Hannah were handcuffed to the wall in Umbra's house.
"What do you want from us?" Hannah asked.
"Don't act like you don't know." Umbra replied, approaching them.
"But we don't know." Steve replied.
Umbra smiled. "Then maybe this will jog your memory."
Umbra clicked his fingers, and a light came on.
At the side of the room, a statue of an Arkeyan Skeleton wearing blue armour stood there. It carried a sword and a blue shield. That was Chop Chop.

Umbra raised his hand and pointed it at Chop Chop.
Both the statue and his hand began glowing.
The statue then glowed brighter, and Chop Chop broke free.
"Slice and Dice!" Chop Chop announced.
"What's that?" Steve asked.
"I am Chop Chop." Chop Chop replied. "Leader of the Undead Element."
"Yes, and I am what you may call, a Portal Master." Umbra replied.
"Who's your leader?" Hannah asked. "I wanna talk to him!"
Umbra shook his head. "My 'boss', if that's what you mean, gave me the mission to destroy some troublemakers, who may interfere with the plans."
Umbra took out two pictures. One was of Steve. The other was of Hannah.
"Unfortunately... or, well, fortunately..." Umbra continued. "One of you is important still. Which one? I don't know. So you'll remain here for the time being."
Umbra walked away.
"Chop Chop, could you guard these two for a while?" Umbra asked.
Chop Chop bowed. "It is my honour, master."
"Just call me Umbra." Umbra replied, leaving the room.

"I thought you Skylanders were supposed to be good guys." Steve commented.
Chop Chop looked at him. "Strange, I never said I was a Skylander."
"Well, you are one, right?" Steve asked.
"Yes." Chop Chop replied. "But I am a good guy."
"Then why don't you let us free?" Steve asked.
"Because I am also an Arkeyan Knight." Chop Chop replied. "I am loyal to the Portal Masters."

Dan, Spyro, Kate and Lucy entered Dan's house.
They entered the front room, where Drobot had the Portal completed, and was talking to Hugo on Skype.
"Welcome back." Drobot announced.
"You finished the Portal already?" Dan asked.
"What was so tough about it?" Drobot asked. "I just inserted the stone, and I was done."
"Yes, it appears I made it sound much more complicated than it actually was while I explained it to you earlier." Hugo replied.
"You made that sentence much more complicated." Dan said.
Hugo sighed. "I make everything sound much more complicated."
"Anyway, we should test the Portal." Drobot mentioned.
"Good idea." Spyro said.

Hugo looked around. "Oh no..."
"What's up?" Spyro asked.
"There's a bunch of tornadoes heading towards the Mabu Village." Hugo replied. "I'm gonna head there now. Spyro, you should head there too!"
The Skype call ended.
"I'm no expert, but a tornado is bad, right?" Kate asked.
"Obviously." Dan replied. "Okay Spyro, you ready?"
Spyro nodded.
Dan picked up the Portal, and it began glowing.
Spyro jumped onto it, and was teleported away.
"Let's hope that worked." Dan said.

Drobot looked at Lucy and Kate. "I'm Drobot. What do you two go by?"
"Oh, uh... I'm Kate." Kate replied.
"And I'm Lucy." Lucy replied.
"What's the issue?" Drobot asked.
"This strange guy called Umbra showed up and kidnapped some friends, and..." Dan began.
"Wait, did you just say 'friends'?" Kate asked.
"Well we hang out enough to be considered friends, right?" Lucy replied.
"Fair enough." Kate said. "Continue."
"Anyway..." Dan continued. "We need to find out where to find them."
"Did he leave behind anything?" Drobot asked.
Dan took out a smoke bomb. "A dropped a few of these on us."
"When did you pick those up?" Kate asked.
"Just after the scene cut away." Dan replied.
"What?" Kate asked.
"What?" Dan quickly asked after Kate.

"I can analyse this." Drobot said, taking hold of the smoke bomb. "I should be able to track his location from the DNA left behind."
"Good. We're counting on you." Dan replied.

I tried to fix a few mistakes in the previous post, but it said I was over the character limit (when it was fine before), so this finishes in a new post.

Apologies about lack of chapters for the past week. I've been feeling ill, so I didn't feel like writing anything. I'm also busy with homework, but I'll try to have new chapters up in the next few days.

Sorry for not posting much. So Steve's weakness is cake? And technically, Cynder is the undead with the highest stats. Can they get Stealth Elf soon?

To answer the questions: Yes, his weakness is cake. While Cynder has the highest stats, I feel like Chop Chop is better suited to be the leader of Undead due to him being a knight. Stealth Elf is definitely going to appear soon.

Chapter 7: Shattered Island!

A Hot Air Balloon landed on the outskirts of Mabu village.
Hugo stepped out.
"Thanks Flynn." he said.
"No problem, Hugo." a Mabu wearing a pilot's uniform replied. "But are you sure this will work?"
"I've spoken to the Portal Master, and Spyro should be on his way." Hugo replied.
"But is one Skylander enough to help everyone here?" Flynn asked.
"All he needs to do is help anyone who is still trapped on the island." Hugo replied. "For Spyro, that's a walk in the park."
"True that." Flynn commented. "Either way, I'll scout from overhead and look around for safety. Tell Spyro that I'll be waiting for him at the other side of the village."
"Will do." Hugo replied, as Flynn took off in the Balloon.

Hugo looked at his watch. "Come on Spyro. We need to act fast."

Suddenly, a purple light appeared in front of Hugo, followed by a beam of light from the Sky.
"All Fired Up!" Spyro cheered as he appeared from within the light.
"Spyro! You're here!" Hugo cheered.
"Yep, and I heard everything on the way over." Spyro agreed. "Rescue anyone in need of help. Got it."
"And remember to meet up with Flynn!" Hugo reminded.
"I got it. See ya!" Spyro called out, running off towards the village.

Drobot looked at the Smoke Bomb and scanned it with his eye lasers.
"Analysis complete. Downloading location." he commented.
"Great!" Dan said. "Now we can hopefully find out where this guy is."

"Still though, you have to wonder what he'd want with Steve and Hannah." Kate said.
"Who knows. But this guy is definitely our enemy. That much is certain." Dan replied.
Lucy began thinking. "Umbra... I've heard that word before."
"Have you?" Kate asked. "Seems like an unusual name."
"Yes." Lucy replied. "But I know I've heard it before."

"Download complete." Drobot said. "He's not too far. I can take you there now."
Dan nodded. "Right. Let's go."
He turned to face Kate and Lucy.
"You two stay here." he said. "Because..."
"It's dangerous there and you don't want us to get hurt?" Kate asked.
"No. Hugo might call back while we're gone, and someone needs to answer the call." Dan replied.
Kate sighed. "Alright."

Spyro ran across the Mabu Village.
A Mabu wearing a Pot Hat ran up to him. That was Snuckles.
"A Skylander! Thank goodness you're here!" Snuckles cried.
"How many people are still in the village?" Spyro asked.
"Not too many. Ten at the maximum." Snuckles replied. "But they're all trapped in Turtle Gully! Blobbers is trying his best to save them, but the turtles won't move."
"I'll help them." Spyro replied. "In the meantime, you should get to safety."
Snuckles nodded. "Right. And thank you, Skylander!"
Spyro smiled. "No problem."

Spyro then rushed out of Mabu Village and over to Turtle Gully.

Another Mabu stood there, attempting to push a turtle out of the way of the bridge.
"By Pythagoras' Theorem! You're a Skylander aren't you?" he cried.
"Correct." Spyro replied. "Are you Blobbers?"
"Yes, and we could use your help." Blobbers replied. "Everyone else is trapped on the other side of the Gully, and I'm not strong enough to move this turtle."
Spyro nodded. "And you need me to push it out of the way."
"Well, I was going to say I need you to encourage me to do my best, but that could also work." Blobbers replied, stepping out of the way.

Spyro took a few steps back and charged towards the turtle blocking the path.
This knocked the turtle out of the way, clearing the bridge.
"Thank you, Skylander!" Blobbers cheered, as the now free Mabu ran across the bridge.
"No problem." Spyro commented. "Just do yourselves a favour and get off this island as soon as you can."
"Will do!" Blobbers cried, running away with the crowd.

Steve and Hannah were still handcuffed to the wall.
Chop Chop still guarded them.
"How can you still be guarding us?" Steve asked. "You've gotta sleep soon!"
"I've been standing here for not even an hour." Chop Chop reminded. "Plus I don't usually sleep for another twelve more hours."
"I still don't understand why you're keeping us here." Steve added.
"Got any complaints, then put them in the suggestion box next to you." Chop Chop said.
"Nobody ever reads those things anyway!" Steve argued.
"That's the point." Chop Chop replied. "It makes the people think like their being heard, and nobody has to listen to their complaints."
"That actually does make a lot of sense now." Steve commented.

Umbra walked back in. "I've had no luck with the computer. This is going to make things harder."
"If we have Drobot's help, we may be able to fix it." Chop Chop suggested.
"Yes, but we wouldn't even know where to begin looking for him, do we." Umbra replied.
"What machine is that?" Steve yelled.
"It's a computer with the ability to locate certain people." Umbra replied. "With it, I'll be able to find out which of you two I'll need to keep, and which I can get rid of."
"We still don't know what you're talking about." Hannah said.
"Sure you don't." Umbra replied, walking off.

Umbra stopped.
"Chop Chop. If anybody shows up, then try to keep them busy until I get back."

Spyro approached the edge of the Island. Flynn stood there with his Balloon.
"Spyro!" Flynn called out. "Come look at this!"
Spyro ran over and looked over the island. The Mabu Palace was being ripped apart by a Tornado.
"The Royal Family is still trapped inside." Flynn said. "And my Balloon isn't strong enough to get any closer. Could you go over and help them?"
"That's sorta why I'm here." Spyro replied, jumping down into a pit.

A bunch of Green Chompies surrounded him.
"Should have also warned you about the Chompy Pit." Flynn commented. "But you'll need to beat them to make it safe for the Royal Family anyway."
Spyro sighed. "Chompies are a piece of cake to beat."
He ran into the middle of them and shot out some fireballs.

Chapter 8: Rescue

Spyro shot fireballs all around him.
All Chompies in every direction were hit, and were defeated.
"Man, that did look easy." Flynn commented.
"Told ya." Spyro replied, dashing towards the Royal Mabu Palace, which was being torn apart by the tornado.

Behind a gate was the Royal Mabu Family - the king, the queen, and their son Quigley.
"Skylander, you must help us!" the King cried. "The tornado is about to get to us!"
Spyro nodded, and charged head first into the gate. The power of the charge was strong enough to break open the gate.
"Get to Flynn's Balloon." Spyro said. "He'll get you out of here."
"Right. And Thank you Skylander!" the King replied, as the family ran towards Flynn.

Suddenly, Spyro began glowing.
"What the..." he commented.

Hugo ran over. "Spyro? What's happening?"
"No idea." Spyro replied, as the glowing became brighter.
Before long, Spyro was engulfed by light, and disappeared.

"What? Spyro?!" Hugo called out.
"Hugo, we have to go!" Flynn called out.
"Oh, right!" Hugo replied, running towards the Balloon.

Chop Chop continued to guard Steve and Hannah.
"I have a plan." Steve whispered. "If we can create a distraction, then..."

CRASH!

"What was that?" Steve asked.
"My question exactly." Chop Chop replied, readying his sword.

Drobot flew in, with Dan running behind.
"Steve! Hannah!" Dan called out.
"Chop Chop?!" Drobot asked.
"Dan!" Hannah called out.
"Drobot?" Chop Chop asked.
"Steve!" Steve cheered.

Everyone stared at Steve.
"I thought we were just calling out random names." Steve commented.
"No, that wasn't it." Dan replied.
"Chop Chop, what are you doing?" Drobot asked.
"My duty." Chop Chop replied. "The Portal Master who freed me has an important job to do, and needs to make sure these two don't escape."
"So, you're a bad guy now?" Dan asked.
"I'm still a good guy!" Chop Chop exclaimed.
"Then let us go!" Steve called out.
"Can't do that." Chop Chop replied.

"What's all this noise in here?" Umbra asked, walking back in.
He noticed Dan and Drobot.
"Oh, you're finally here." he commented. "Can I offer you a drink?"
"No thanks..." Dan replied, feeling as if things had just became awkward.
"Okay then." Umbra replied. "I'm sure you're wondering about the meaning of all of this. But I can explain if you..."

Suddenly, a bright light appeared from Dan's pocket. It was the Portal.
Spyro then jumped out of it.
"What just happened?" Spyro asked.

Using the distraction to his advantage, Dan ran over and stole the key from Chop Chop. He then unlocked Steve and Hannah's handcuffs.
"Drobot, get them out of here!" he called out.
"Roger." Drobot replied, flying away, taking hold of Steve and Hannah.
"No, it's 'Steve'." Steve corrected.

"No!" Umbra cried. "You idiot!"
"Sorry, but I'm not gonna stand here and let the villain win." Dan said.
"I second that." Spyro added.
"You don't get it. I'm not the villain here. THEY are!" Umbra called out.
"Yeah right. What harm could they do?" Spyro asked.
"You don't understand the situation." Umbra said. "But as long as you are allied with them, I shall treat you as an enemy. Now leave."
"With pleasure." Dan said, walking away.
"Chop Chop? You coming?" Spyro asked.
Chop Chop shook his head. "I shall remain here. It is my mission which I have been given."
"You make no sense sometimes." Spyro replied, walking away too.
"Me neither." Chop Chop replied.

Umbra sat down on a chair.
"You sure we shouldn't have just told them the truth?" Chop Chop asked.
"Too risky." Umbra replied. "We have little evidence, so they'd obviously not believe us."
"And what about the computer?" Chop Chop asked.
"I can do without it for now." Umbra replied. "As of now, our first priority is finding the others."
Chop Chop nodded. "Any leads?"
Umbra nodded.

Dan, Steve, Hannah, Spyro and Drobot reached Dan's house.
They walked inside.
"Welcome home!" Kate cheered, running towards them.
Everyone stared at her.
"What?" Kate asked.
"That was creepy." Dan replied.
"I just wanted to greet you all." Kate replied. "Oh, and Hugo has called back."
"What did he say?" Spyro asked.
"Go ask him now." Kate replied. "Lucy's currently talking to him."

The entered the Living Room.
Lucy was talking to Hugo on Skype.
"If that's the case, then he might be a real threat." Hugo replied.
"What's going on?" Dan asked.
"We figured out what 'Umbra' means." Lucy replied. "It's Latin for 'Shadow'."
"And that could mean that this Umbra person is a real threat to us." Hugo added.
"It gets worse." Drobot said. "Chop Chop appears to be sided with him."
"That does sound worse." Hugo replied. "But moving on, I'm glad to see Spyro is still alright. What happened?"
"That's what I want to know." Spyro replied.

"Yeah, that was quite sudden when you showed up. You were gone like, what? 30 minutes?" Dan asked.
"I feared as much." Drobot commented. "As the Portal I constructed is a small model, it's effects will be temporary."
"That sucks." Spyro replied. "Anyway Hugo, how's things back in SKylands?"
"Everyone escaped the island safely." Hugo replied.
"That's a relief." Lucy commented.
"We're currently trying to think of a plan for what to do next." Hugo replied. "Speaking of which, I'll contact you again later. See ya."
The call ended.

"So what should we do now?" Kate asked.
"That Umbra guy mentioned something about a computer that can find certain people." Hannah commented. "You think we could use something like that to locate the Skylanders?"
"Entirely possible, but would require time to create." Drobot replied.
"Then we should probably start working on that." Dan said.

Chapter 9: Perilous Pastures!

Umbra and Chop Chop were in a dark room.
Umbra was sat on a chair and spoke to someone on a screen.
"Unfortunately, they escaped." Umbra finished.
"Well, accidents happen." a voice replied. "But you are aware of the next part of the plan, right?"
Umbra nodded. "Yes. I am to travel to the location of another Portal Master and recruit them. With that, we can cover more ground to find the Skylanders."
"I feel like our friends are already working on finding the Skylanders." the voice replied. "So you shouldn't need to worry too much about that."
"Alright." Umbra replied.
"Currently, I can sense the location of another Portal Master who is about to awaken. They are located not too far from where you are." the voice commented. "You should be able to recognise who it is, I should believe. Good luck, Portal Master."
The screen shut off, and the lights switched on.

"Right. That is what we must do." Umbra replied. "Comeon, Chop Chop."
Umbra left the room.
"I cannot believe he is still alive." Chop Chop thought. "But I always knew that he was prepared for something like that."
Chop Chop smiled, and followed Umbra.

Flynn flew the Balloon over the Perilous Pastures. Only him and Hugo were still inside.
"Can you please explain why we're here?" Flynn asked.
"To help defeat Kaos, we're going to need help." Hugo replied. "And Cali agreed to help us."
"Cali?" Flynn asked. "I've heard some things about her. Interesting things. If she's helping, then count me DOUBLE IN! BOOM!"
Hugo shook his head. "Either way, she told me that she'd be in the Perilous Pastures waiting for us."
"So we just need to look for her." Flynn commented. "Ah, I love girls who try to hide."
Hugo sighed. "Either way, I hear she is incredibly stealthy, so she may be hidden. We'll require great concentration if we want to..."
"Found her." Flynn interrupted.
"Or she could be out in the open." Hugo commented. "Sure, why not?"
"Looks like she's in trouble." Flynn commented. "Landing the Balloon now!"

Dan, Drobot and Lucy were making adjustments to one of Dan's Computers. They were trying to install a tracking device for the Skylanders.

Spyro, Steve, Hannah and Kate sat down, drinking tea.
"I feel useless just sitting here." Kate commented. "Shouldn't we be helping?"
"Leave it to the computer experts." Spyro replied, drinking some tea.
"So Lucy." Hannah said. "Since when were you so good with computers?"
"I've always been good with computers." Lucy replied. "I've been fixing and building them for a few years."
"You just don't look like the type of person who'd be good at that." Hannah replied.

"Almost done." Drobot commented. "However, we should probably find more components in order to make this function correctly."
"What would we need?" Dan asked.
"I would assume that we'd need the power of another Portal Master and possibly another Skylander to help finish this." Drobot replied. "If the device knows roughly what it need to search for, then it may be able to locate them with more ease."
Dan nodded. "Alright, I'll go around town and look."
Spyro finished his tea and stood up. "I'll go too."

Flynn landed the Balloon on the island.
Cali was surrounded by defeated Chompies and Drow.
"Hugo, I presume?" a female Mabu wearing an explorer's uniform and a red scarf asked.
That was Cali.
"Yes." Hugo replied. "And I can see you can defend yourself with ease."
"That was just morning practice." Cali replied.
She looked at Flynn.
"Who's this?" she asked.
"I am Captain Flynn, the Balloonist." Flynn replied. "I am the best pilot in all of Skylands."
"Great to meet to Captain. I'm Cali." Cali introduced.
"Oh, I know exactly who you are." Flynn confidently said.
Cali stared at Flynn. After a while, she looked at Hugo and said "Do we seriously have to work with this freak?"
Hugo sighed. "I'm afraid so. He's the only pilot who's willing to help face Kaos and isn't afraid of danger."
"Danger is my middle name!" Flynn called out. "Well, actually it's John. Flynn John Balloonist. But danger sounds way cooler."
Cali sighed and stepped in the Balloon. "Can we just leave already."

A teenage girl sat on a bench in a park in London.
She had long light brown hair. She also wore a white shirt, a blue tie, and a black skirt.
She stared into the sky. "So peaceful."

Umbra and Chop Chop stood in the distance and watched her.
Chop Chop wore a blue shirt that read 'Not a Skylander'.
"That's got to be the Portal Master." Umbra commented.
"Right, but how are we gonna recruit her to our side?"Chop Chop asked. "It'll sound weird if we walk up to her and say 'Hey, you're a Portal Master and you have the power to free the mythical creatures known as Skylanders which you only thought to be video game characters. Come joins us in our quest to find them and defeat the enemies.' don't you think?"
"Well, yeah. If you say it like that." Umbra complained. "But whatever."

Dan and Spyro looked around London.
Spyro wore Sunglasses, and a blue hat which read 'Not a Skylander'.
They noticed Umbra and Chop Chop.
"Why is he here?" Dan asked.
"And why are they staring at that teenage girl?" Spyro asked.
"No idea." Dan replied. "But we're gonna find out."
Dan and Spyro approached Umbra and Chop Chop.

"What are you doing out here?" Dan asked.
Umbra and Chop Chop turned around.
"Oh, hello." Umbra replied. "I never introduced myself before. My name is Umbra."
"I'm Dan." Dan replied. "Now answer my question."
"We are simply trying to find the other Portal Masters." Umbra replied.
"And you're doing that by watching teenage girls?" Spyro asked.
"She is one of them. Probably." Umbra replied.
"You really think she'd join the side of evil?" Dan asked.
Umbra sighed. "This again? I already told you I'm not the enemy. I have similar intentions as you do. I want to defeat Kaos."
"But that is not all." Chop Chop replied. "There is also a secret power which combines our two worlds."
Umbra nodded. "Yes. And I first discovered it by a simple phrase."
"Which was?" Dan asked.
"Congregabunt electos octo." Umbra started.
"Ad speluncam mundi, omnium revelabitur..." Spyro finished.
"Ah! You've heard it too!" Umbra cheered.
"I saw it written in a cave back in Skylands." Spyro replied. "There was also a drawing of some people with the elemental symbols, and two stones. That was actually where I found that Light Stone."
"The other stone is this." Umbra replied, taking out the black stone. "The Dark Stone. They are part of what links the worlds."
"So what does that phrase mean?" Dan asked.
"It's Latin." Umbra replied. "It translates to 'Gather the chosen eight. At the cave of the world, all will be revealed'."
"The chosen eight?" Dan asked.
"Portal Masters." Chop Chop replied.
"Well that explains on thing." Dan replied. "But why did you capture Steve and Hannah?"
Umbra smiled. "It's simple. Let me start from the beginning."

Chapter 10: Agreement!

"So now you know." Umbra said.
"Man... I had no idea." Dan replied. "So what'll we do?"
"Continue as normal." Umbra replied. "I won't try to catch them. For a while, anyway. But you will have to keep an eye on them."
"Seems fair." Dan said. "But besides that..."
"I'll search for the Portal Masters, and you can hunt for the Skylanders." Umbra replied. "I assume you're working on a tracking device."
"Yeah, Drobot's working on that now." Spyro replied. "We just need to find another Portal Master and Skylander to help calibrate the data."
"Well, I can confirm there is another Skylander nearby." Umbra commented. "Get the girl over there to rescue him."
"Should we get going?" Chop Chop asked.
Umbra nodded. "Yes. We'll be heading out now, but could you give me your phone number? I'll call if I notice anything."
Dan nodded, and read out his phone number. Umbra then wrote it down.
"We'll be off then." Umbra said, as he and Chop Chop walked off.
"That's still hard to believe, but I guess Chop Chop wouldn't be working with him for no reason, would he." Spyro commented.
"Yeah. Anyway, we should talk to that girl." Dan replied.
Spyro nodded. "Good idea."

They walked into the park and approached the girl.
She looked over at them. "Oh, hi Dan!"
"You know me?" Dan asked.
"Yeah, we're in pretty much all of the same lessons in school." she replied. "I even sit next to you for most of them."
"I don't pay attention to my surroundings." Dan replied.
"Do you even know my name?" she asked.
Dan thought. "Kelly?"
"Not even close." she replied. "It's Charlotte."
"That was my next guess." Dan replied.
Spyro stared at Dan and shook his head.
"Enough about that." Charlotte said. "Who's your friend there?"
"The name's Spyro." Spyro replied. "Spyro the Dragon."
"Like the game character?" she asked in confusion.
"He IS the character." Dan replied.
"I'm having a tough time believing that." Charlotte replied.
"Let me explain." Spyro said.

Steve, Hannah, Kate, Lucy and Drobot sat down drinking tea.
"I must say. This tea substance tastes quite good." Drobot commented. "I should analyse this substance and try to produce this back in Skylands."
"If you think this is good, wait until you try Coffee." Steve replied. "Or Hot Chocolate."
"We already have those substances in Skylands." Drobot replied. "They taste good, but this tea substance tastes significantly better."
Kate stared at Steve and smiled. "Told you."
"Whatever." Steve replied.

"Why are we drinking tea anyway?" Hannah asked.
"Because when people think of England, they normally think of people drinking tea." Lucy replied.
"That seems dumb." Hannah commented.
"It is. It is." Lucy replied.
"Well the Englands have the right idea by drinking this substance." Drobot commented.
"Can we quit talking about tea and get back to the main story?" Steve asked.

"Well, that explains why you guys weren't at school today." Charlotte commented. "And the hole in the roof."
"Yeah, that's it." Dan replied. "And we've been told that you are one of the Portal Masters."
"Alright. I'll help." Charlotte replied. "On one condition."
"What's that?" Dan asked.
"You go on a date with me and become my boyfriend." Charlotte replied, blushing.
Dan and Spyro both stared at her.
"I'm sorry, but what has this got to do with anything?" Spyro asked.
"Well Dan, I've always liked you and..." Charlotte began.
"And why are you saying this now?" Dan replied.
"Look, if you expect me to believe you and to help, then accept my offer." Charlotte replied. "It'll benefit us both."
"Yeah, sure." Dan replied. "Whatever."
"Yay!" Charlotte cheered.
Spyro leaned close to Dan and whispered. "This chick is crazy."
Dan slowly nodded.

"Right! So where will we go for our date?" Charlotte asked.
"To look for the Skylander that's nearby." Dan replied.
"That's not fun. What about bowling?" Charlotte asked.
"Did you seriously not listen to a word I said earlier..." Spyro commented. "This is literally a matter of life or death."
"How is it?" Charlotte asked.
"If Kaos takes over Skylands, it's only a matter of time before he takes over Earth and destroys anyone who gets in his way." Dan replied.
"Alright, we'll find the Skylander." Charlotte replied. "I have a few ideas on where to look!"
"I have a bad feeling about this..." Spyro commented.

Umbra and Chop Chop were in Umbra's lab.
Umbra scanned through his computer. "I have located the Portal Masters thanks to the data we got earlier."
"Where will we head?" Chop Chop asked.
"Australia seems like a good place to start, don't you think?" Umbra asked.
Chop Chop nodded. "Okay."
"And on our way, I can begin working on that temporary Portal to Skylands." Umbra replied.

Dan, Charlotte and Spyro walked around London.
"Are you sure you know where the Skylander is?" Dan asked. "He wasn't in the Bowling Alley. Nor was he in Primark. Or the arcade. Or... Oh, I see what you're planning."
Spyro sighed. "Took you long enough."

They arrived in another park. Strangely enough, nobody was around.
"This place is never empty. What gives?" Dan asked.
"Maybe we took a wrong turn?" Charlotte asked.
"I'm sensing dark energy nearby." Spyro commented. "Be careful."
"Hey, what's that?" Charlotte asked, running into the centre of the park.
A statue of a Bambazooker stood there.
"It's Zook!" Spyro called out.

Charlotte's hands began glowing. "What the..."
Zook also began glowing.
She raised her hand up to the statue of Zook.
A flash of light shone and Zook broke free.
"Locked and Loaded!" Zook cried. "Bamboo-Yah!"

"Whoa! They are real!" Charlotte cried.
"Are you serious?" Spyro asked. "I'm also a Skylander.
"But your hat..." Charlotte commented.
Spyro took off his hat.
"Where did that Skylander come from?!" Charlotte called out.
Spyro sighed and put the hate back on. "This planet is full of idiots..."
"Speaking of this planet, where are we?" Zook asked.
"Earth." Dan replied.
"Earth? Dumb name." Zook replied. "Why not call it something smart like... Glufentarg?"
"Awesome idea!" Charlotte cheered.
Both Dan and Spyro facepalmed.
"This planet IS full of idiots." Dan replied.

Suddenly, a ball of energy was shot down at them.
Dan and Spyro jumped to the left.
Charlotte and Zook jumped to the right.
A masked creature then appeared. "You fell right into my trap."

Chapter 11: A New Foe...

A masked person appeared. His mask covered the top half of his face.
He wore a white cloak, and had spiky blonde hair.
"You fell right into my trap." he commented.
"The trap was waiting for us to free a Skylander and have a conversation about the planet's name?" Dan asked. "Weird trap."
"Shut up!" the person commented. "I was busy."
"You set up this trap hours ago, and almost forgot about it, didn't you?" Spyro asked.
The masked person sighed. "Yes..."
"Either way, who are you?" Dan asked.
The person smiled. "The name is Amicus."
"So why are you here?" Spyro asked.
"I'm here to capture you!" Amicus cried, firing another ball of energy at them.
It struck Dan and Spyro, knocking them both unconscious.

Charlotte and Zook hid behind a tree, watching.
"Should we help?" Zook asked.
"Seems dangerous." Charlotte commented.
"But we can't do nothing!" Zook cried.
"Yes we can." Charlotte replied.
"Well I'm gonna help!" Zook replied, jumping out in front of the tree. "Alright! Prepare to..."
Amicus, Dan and Spyro were gone.
"...Fight." Zook finished, realising that nobody was there. "Where did they go?"
Charlotte walked out in front of the tree. "No idea. But it's safe now, right?"
Zook shook his head. "We may never be safe again."
"Now I'm worried." Charlotte commented.
"So what'll we do now?" Zook asked.
Charlotte thought. "Wanna get a drink?"
"Sure." Zook replied.
The two walked off.

Amicus stood on top of a nearby building. "I think those two will be of no harm."
He smiled, and teleported away.

Drobot woke up. "Bzttt... Reloading data."
Kate, Lucy and Hannah also woke up.
"What... When did we fall asleep?" Lucy asked.
"And how long have we been asleep for?" Hannah asked.
Kate looked outside. "It's dark. And Dan and Spyro aren't back yet."
"This could prove to be an issue." Drobot commented. "There is a possibility that the enemy has captured them. We may have to send out a rescue team within the next few hours."
"This could be bad... What if Umbra attacked them by surprise?" Lucy asked. "We'd be in serious trouble then."
"We should do something!" Kate cheered.
Steve woke up. "Urgh... Keep it down. I'm trying to sleep."

RIIIIINNNGG

Lucy ran over to the laptop and opened Skype.
"It's Hugo." she commented, answering the call.
"Hello again. How's everything going?" Hugo asked.
"We have made progress on building a tracking device for the Skylanders, however we fear that Dan and Spyro have been gone for too long." Drobot replied. "There is a high probability that the enemy attacked them by surprise."
"Oh no... That does seem bad." Hugo commented. "Not only that, we need Dan to work the Portal. We require assistance from a Skylander."
"What for?" Kate asked.
"We have come to the conclusion that we will need to rebuild the Core of Light, and we'll need a Skylander's help to locate the first piece." Hugo replied.
"We shall send a team out to locate Dan and Spyro soon." Drobot said. "In the meantime, you should continue with your research."
Hugo nodded. "Will do."

Umbra and Chop Chop were in a helicopter.
Umbra held a temporary Portal in his hand, and read through a text message.
"It seems our friends in Skylands require some assistance." Umbra commented. "You ready to test this thing out?"
Chop Chop nodded.
"Just remember." Umbra reminded. "This device is only temporary, so you may only remain in Skylands for half an hour."
"That's more than enough time." Chop Chop commented.
Umbra nodded, and held up the Portal.
Chop Chop then jumped in it, and was teleported away.

Umbra looked outside. "It seems like we are almost here."

Kate, Lucy and Drobot walked around the nearby area.
Strangely enough, the area was practically empty.
"This seems dangerous." Kate commented. "You sure splitting up into two teams was a smart idea?"
Drobot nodded. "With two teams we can cover more area."
"Well... True." Kate replied.
"Hang on." Drobot commented. "I am hearing voices. I shall amplify the voices for you to hear."

Drobot's wings revealed some speakers, and voices came out of them.
"You should have told me that you were sensitive to sugar."
"It'snotsugarthatdoesthis. It'sjustallthecaffeinethatwasinthatcanofcoke."
"I literally cannot understand a word of what you're saying."
"Notmyfaultyoucannothearthepoweroffasttalking."
"Wait... do you hear that?"
"HearwhatIdon'thearanythingexceptourownvoices."
"It sounds like... an echo? We should check this out."

Drobot put the speakers away. "I think they may have heard."
"You think?" Lucy asked.

Charlotte and Zook ran around the corner.
"Who's there?" Charlotte called out.
"It appears to be that girl is a Portal Master." Drobot commented, noticing Zook.
"HeyDrobothowareyoudoing?" Zook asked. "HaveyoutriedthisthingcalledCoke-Cola?Ittastesawesome!"
"Oh, hey Charlotte." Kate commented. "Why are you out here so late?"
"I could ask you guys the same thing." Charlotte replied.
"We are searching for the Portal Master known as Dan and the Skylander known as Spyro." Drobot replied. "Have you been in contact with them recently?"
"Yeah, they were captured by this freak called Amicus." Zook replied. "I think they were captured anyway. We didn't see where they went after we were attacked."
"You calmed down quickly." Charlotte commented.
"Yep." Zook replied. "So are you two Portal Masters too?"
"Oh, no." Lucy replied. "We're just helping."
"Moving back a few sentences." Drobot said. "Can you describe this Amicus to us?"
Zook nodded. "He had a mask, and a white cloak, and blond spiky hair."
"Well, that's a start..." Lucy commented. "Did he say what he wanted? Like, why he attacked or..."

RUMBLE...

Out of nowhere, the ground began shaking.
"Whoa! What's going on?" Kate asked.
The ground around them then began cracking, and some began falling apart.
Suddenly, the ground began crumbling away.

"Help!" Charlotte cried out, as she and Zook became trapped on a crumbling platform.
"We require assistance." Drobot commented, as he and Lucy became trapped on another.

Kate backed away.
To her left, Charlotte and Zook were in trouble.
To her right, Lucy and Drobot were in trouble.

Chapter 12: The Next Decision

Kate backed away.
To her left, Charlotte and Zook were in trouble.
To her right, Lucy and Drobot were in trouble.

Without thinking, Kate ran to her right.
"Take my hand!" she called out.
Lucy took hold of her hand, and Kate pulled her to safety.
She then did the same for Drobot

"Heeelllpp!" Charlotte called out as the platform that she and Zook were on crumbled away.
"Oh, man. I'm really..." Zook said, as he put on some Sunglasses. "Falling for this."
As the platform finished crumbling away, all that could be heard was Charlotte calling for help, and Zook saying "Yeeeaaaahhh" at his bad pun.

"At least his death was memorable..." Kate commented.
"Kate, we should leave." Lucy said.
Kate nodded. "Right."
Kate, Lucy and Drobot ran away to safety.

Chop Chop arrived in Skylands.
He looked around. He was in Core Island. Or what was left of Core Island, anyway.
"This place has changed." he commented.
"Oh! Chop Chop!" Hugo called out, rushing over to him. "You've arrived!"
"Yes." Chop Chop replied. "So what is needed from me?"
"To defeat Kaos, we'll need to rebuild the Core of Light." Hugo commented. "But to rebuild it, we'll need help finding the Eternal Sources."
Cali walked over. "We can use the Far Viewer to locate them, but some strange plants are in the way. That's where you come in."
Chop Chop nodded. "Lead the way."

Kate, Lucy and Drobot arrived back at Dan's house.
Steve and Hannah ran over at the same time.
"Did you guys hear that Earthquake not too long ago?" Steve asked.
Lucy nodded. "Yeah, we were caught up in the middle of it. We almost died."
"Luckily I was there to save the day." Kate bragged.
"But there was the Portal Master girl and Zook who fell to their doom." Drobot reminded. "I doubt that necessarily counts as saving the day."
"Shut up..." Kate replied, looking down.
"And Dan?" Hannah asked. "Did you find him?"
"Apparently he and Spyro were captured by this Amicus person." Drobot replied.
"Wait, what now?" Lucy asked. "We need another Portal Master and Skylander to help calibrate the tracking device, don't we?"
Drobot nodded. "However I have managed to log the data of the Portal Master and Zook within my database. We can finish the preparations now."

Chop Chop finished cutting down the trees blocking the Far Viewer.
"Great!" Hugo cheered, running over. "Now we can see where they are!"
Hugo looked into the Far Viewer.
"I see it! The Eternal Air Source!" Hugo cried. "And it's in the Stormy Stronghold!"
Flynn walked over and looked through.
"Hm..." he commented. "If my Balloon is going to get there, it'll need something. Something... powerful. Something with speed."
"You mean like a Propeller, genius?" Cali asked.
"No, no. Nothing like that." Flynn replied. "No. What we need is a propeller!"
"Really? REALLY?" Cali sighed. "Okay, tell ya what, genius. The Drow patrol the Sky Schooner Docks in their blimps, so you can find one there. You prepare to go there, and I'll mark the location on the map with a red crayon."
"Hey!" Flynn complained. "I LIKE CRAYONS!"
"Could you please not argue?" Hugo asked.
"I agree." Chop Chop commented.

Hugo looked at Chop Chop. "Oh, and before I forget. Each Eternal Source can only be collected by a Skylander of that Element."
"So that means we'll need to find an Air Skylander if we wish to recover the Eternal Air Source." Chop Chop replied. "I'll deliver that message to the Portal Masters."
"Great." Hugo replied. "Flynn, are you alright with going on ahead to the Docks?"
"Sure Hugo." Flynn replied. "Let me just prepare first."
"Great." Chop Chop said, beginning to disappear. "I'll be leaving then."

Umbra walked around the beaches of Sydney. "There should be a Portal Master here somewhere... But where?"

One Day Earlier...

Sitting on the same beach was a teenage boy and a teenage girl - both of which were about 14 years old.
The boy had short black hair, and wore blue swim trunks. His name was Mike.
The girl had long dark brown hair, which was in two ponytails at the back. She wore a pink bikini. Her name was Sophie.

"Today is so peaceful." Sophie commented, looking up at the sky.
"Yeah, but it's also quite hot." Mike mentioned, wiping some sweat off of his face.
"But it is peaceful. Seriously. Literally nobody is here." Sophie commented, looking around the almost deserted beach.
"Maybe they thought it was too hot to go outside." Mike replied, standing up. "I'm gonna get a bottle of water. Want me to get you one?"
"Sure." Sophie replied. "Don't take too long."
"It really does depend on if the shop has air conditioning or not." Mike replied, walking off.

Sophie looked back up into the sky. She then noticed something flying past.
"A shooting star?" she wondered. "No, it's still the middle of day."
Continuing to look at it, she noticed that it was flying straight at her.
She quickly jumped to the side, as it crashed in the exact place she was sitting.
She looked at what had landed. It was a statue of a green elf, with a piece of cloth over it's mouth.
That was the Leader of the Life Skylanders - Stealth Elf.

"What could that be?" Sophie asked herself.
She then noticed that it was glowing. Not only that, but her hand was glowing too.
She raised them up slightly to look, and realised that the light was getting brighter.
As she pointed her hands at the statue, it began glowing brighter.
Stealth Elf then broke free.
"Silent, But Deadly!" Stealth Elf announced.

"What just happened?" she wondered.
Stealth Elf looked at Sophie. "You must be the Portal Master who rescued me. Thank you. I am Stealth Elf."
"I'm Sophie..." Sophie replied, not too sure what to do.

Mike walked over holding two bottles of water.
"There no no air conditioning, so I hurried back..." he started before noticing Stealth Elf.
He looked at both Sophie and Stealth Elf.
"I'm not going back to get another bottle." he jokingly said.

Chapter 13: Air Time!

Sophie, Mike and Stealth Elf were in Sophie's house.
Sophie was now wearing a red t-shirt and a black skirt.
Mike was now wearing a white sleeveless top and blue shorts.

"That's some story." Sophie commented. "So what should we do?"
"We'll need to find other Skylanders and other Portal Masters." Stealth Elf replied. "The other Portal Masters may have a way back to Skylands."
"How do you know there are other Portal Masters out here?" Mike asked.
"I met one a few months ago." Stealth Elf replied. "But now's not the time to talk about that. I would assume that there may be another Portal Master trying to find us now, so we should look around."
"It's still hot out there." Mike complained. "Do it tomorrow."
"We should go out there now!" Sophie cheered. "The sooner we find them, the better."
"Mike has a point there." Stealth Elf said. "Well, the tomorrow part anyway."
"Why's that?" Sophie asked.
"I only arrived here in on this planet a few hours ago." Stealth Elf reminded. "Which means the other Portal Masters may have known about this for only a few hours too. We need to give them time to prepare, otherwise we'll be walking around looking for nothing."
"Well, if you put it like that..." Sophie commented. "But we can still look for Skylanders, right?"
"That we can do." Stealth Elf replied.
"Good luck with that." Mike commented, sitting in front of the fan, drinking a bottle of water.
"You're coming too!" Sophie said, dragging him outside.
"But I'm not a Portal Master!" Mike complained.
"You can still help!" Sophie argued.

Stealth Elf sighed. "I hope the other Portal Masters aren't like this."
She quickly followed.

Meanwhile, in America...

A girl was running around a park in New York. She was 16 years old.
She had long black hair, which was in pigtails.
She wore a red t-shirt, a blue hoodie, and black trousers.
Her name was Shala.

"I know I saw it around here somewhere." she commented, looking around. "Something fell from the sky."
Shala stopped running and sat down on the ground.
"Damn it. Just when I thought something interesting could happen." she said to herself.
She looked around some more, and noticed a small glow in the trees.
She quickly stood up.
"Maybe that's it!" she said, as she ran over to it.

Standing there was a statue. It was of a blue dragon and unicorn hybrid. It was Whirlwind - the leader of the Air Element.
"A Skylander?" Shala commented. "Cool!"
She then noticed that her hand was glowing, along with the statue.
Raising her hands and pointing them at the statue, she noticed that they were glowing brighter.
Whirlwind then broke free.
"Twists of Fury!" Whirlwind announced.

"I knew something cool would happen today!" Shala cheered.
Whirlwind looked at Shala. "You must be the Portal Master who rescued me. I am Whirlwind."
"I'm Shala." Shala replied. "And I have absolutely no idea as to what's happening, other than the fact that reality just became much cooler!"
Whirlwind sighed. "You're very optimistic for someone who knows hardly anything about what's going on."
"Something interesting is finally happening." Shala replied. "How else am I supposed to act?"

Umbra walked around the beaches of Sydney. "Why do I get the feeling I just missed something important?"
Suddenly, Chop Chop jumped out of the Portal he had in his pocket.
"How did it go?" Umbra asked.
"We need to find the Air Skylanders if possible." Chop Chop replied. "That way we can recover the Eternal Air Source to rebuild the Core of Light."
"Okay." Umbra replied. "And I think I've found some people who can help."
He points at Sophie, Mike and Stealth Elf. All three are walking along the same beach.

"I can't believe we didn't find a single Skylander yesterday." Mike complained. "We spent hours out in the sun for no reason."
"Well, today is a better day!" Sophie cheered. "We shall find them!"
Umbra and Chop Chop ran over.
"Which one of you is the Portal Master?" Umbra asked.
Sophie and Mike quickly took a step back.
Chop Chop sighed, and hit Umbra on the head with his shield. "It's common manners to introduce yourself first, rather than saying something creepy."
"Right. Right." Umbra replied. "I am Umbra. Which one of you is the Portal Master?"
Chop Chop facepalmed.
"What a freak." Sophie commented.
"Don't worry." Stealth Elf said. "This is that Portal Master I mentioned yesterday."
"Good to see you again, Stealth Elf." Umbra greeted.
"So could you explain who you are, and how you know Stealth Elf?" Sophie asked.
"The answer to those questions are not important as of now." Umbra replied. "But what is important is what I need to tell the Portal Master."
"Which is?" Sophie asked.
"It is necessary for all the Portal Masters to gather." Umbra replied. "When possible, you should travel to London and meet up with the others. Also, once you meet with them, you should act as if I'm your enemy."
"Why's that?" Sophie asked.
"I cannot go into detail about that just yet." Umbra replied. "But for the next time we meet, act as if you have never seen me before."
Umbra turned around and walked off.
"And try to find an Air Skylander if possible." Chop Chop commented. "The other Portal Masters should have a way to send them to Skylands, where they'll need to recover the Eternal Air Source."
Chop Chop then followed.

"I am seriously confused about what just happened." Mike commented.
"I'll re-explain it later." Stealth Elf replied. "But first thing first is that we need to get to London."

Chapter 14: Propeller

Shala was sitting on Whirlwind's back as she flew over England. Shala was now wearing a backpack.
It was still night.
"Can you explain again why we're here?" Shala asked.
"Again? I've explained it, like, five times already." Whirlwind replied.
"Once more?" Shala asked.
Whirlwind sighed. "Once more. I was instructed that if something like this were to happen, then I should go to this place called 'Lun-Dun'. We should meet up with some other Portal Masters there."
"I think it's pronounced 'London'." Shala replied.
"Why does this planet have so many weird names?" Whirlwind questioned, as they flew over London.
"Hey, do you see that?" Shala asked, pointing down.

Across one of the streets were huge cracks. It had also created a giant hole in the ground.
"This definitely doesn't look natural." Whirlwind commented. "We're heading down!"
She flew directly into the hole.

"My analysis indicates that the Portal has been stolen." Drobot concluded.
"How is that possible?" Steve commented. "We locked the doors, didn't we?"
"I think so." Lucy replied. "I... hope so."
"If we did, then the thief is great at lock picking." Hannah mentioned.
"Now what?" Lucy asked.
"It's late." Kate replied. "How about wee go to sleep?"
"I second that!" Steve said, raising his hand in the air.
"Well, there isn't much we can do anyway." Hannah said. "None of us could use the Portal anyway."
"That's true." Lucy said.

Drobot began thinking. "Someone broke in, just to steal a Portal? This person obviously knew what it was, and there's only a number of people who know about us. Could it be that Umbra? No, he seems smart. He could just build another. But the stone..."
"Hey, Drobot." Kate said. "You okay? You zoned out for a minute there."
"I'm fine." Drobot replied. "Just doing some thinking."

Whirlwind landed at the bottom. Shala got off her back.
"This went down far." Shala commented.
"Yeah." Whirlwind agreed. "Someone really wanted to stop someone."
"How can you tell?" Shala asked.
"Considering damage is only done here, that means someone set it up." Whirlwind replied. "They obviously wanted to stop someone else. But who?"
"Well, there's a girl lying over there, with what looks like... another Skylander." Shala commented, pointing to Charlotte and Zook.
"We should help them." Whirlwind commented, running over.
Shala followed.

"You okay?" Whirlwind asked, tapping them on the shoulder.
"Urgh... What happened?" Charlotte asked, trying to stand up.
"We really did fall for that one." Zook commented, with the sunglasses still on, as he stood up too.
"Still with the puns, Zook?" Whirlwind asked.
"It helps lighten the mood." Zook replied. "Anyway, who's the friend?"
"I'm Shala." Shala replied. "I'm a Portal Master from New York."
"I'm Charlotte." Charlotte greeted. "I'm also a Portal Master. I'm from here in London."
"So what happened here?" Shala asked.
"We ran into these two girls and Drobot, spoke for a bit, then this Earthquake happened." Zook replied. "We fell while they made it out safe. I think."
"Were they also Portal Masters?" Whirlwind asked.
"I don't think so..." Zook replied.
"We should probably get out of here now." Shala commented. "It feels creepy here."
"Yeah, I agr..." Whirlwind started. "What's that?"
Shala, Charlotte and Zook faced the same direction. The was something glowing.
They ran over to it.
It was the Portal.

"Looks like a Portal." Charlotte commented.
"Seems to be Drobot's work." Whirlwind said. "I can tell."
"But what's it doing here?" Shala asked, reaching for it.
As she picked it up, it began glowing brighter, and it sucked in Whirlwind and Zook.
"What the..." Shala said, as it sucked her in too.

The Portal fell back down, and Charlotte picked it up.
"What just happened?"

Shala, Whirlwind and Zook arrived in the Sky Schooner Docks.
Flynn stood there by the Balloon. "Ah! Skylanders! And, uh... Person."
"Flynn?" Whirlwind asked. "We're back in Skylands? But how..."
"I would assume by the Portal-thingy-ma-jig." Flynn replied.
"So it does work." Whirlwind replied. "But where are we?"
"Chop Chop didn't fill you in?" Flynn asked. "We're getting a propeller so we can get the Eternal Air Source!"

Chapter 15: Kaos' Plan

Shala reached into her backpack and pulled some small clip on wheels, which she then put on her shoes.
"That is awesome." Zook commented. "Shoes with wheels? What next? Glasses for swimming?"
"Now THAT would be awesome!" Flynn announced. "BOOM!"
"Anyway, we should get going to find that propeller." Shala said. "Where is it?"
"That Blimp up there seems to have one." Flynn commented, pointing up at the largest blimp. "If we use the cannon, it can help us knock it down."
"Okay, where's the cannon?" Whirlwind asked.
"Other side of the docks." Flynn replied.
"Then why were you waiting here?" Shala asked.
"Are you kidding? It's dangerous here! I could die!" Flynn cried. "Good luck though."
"Wouldn't it just be easier for me to fly over to the Eternal Air Source?" Whirlwind asked.
"It's in the Stormy Stronghold." Flynn replied. "Nobody is getting in there by just flying."
Whirlwind sighed. "You have a point. Let's go."
Whirlwind, Zook and Shala ran off.

Kaos sat in his throne room. "Why haven't I been here for a while?"
Glumshanks ran in. "Master! Master!"
"Glumshanks! Can't you see I'm thinking about random nonsense!" Kaos yelled.
"I have news!" Glumshanks replied. "About the Skylanders!"
Kaos stared at him. "Go on."
"They survived the explosion!" Glumshanks replied.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" Kaos cried. "How did you find this out?"
"The operatives on Earth." Glumshanks replied.
Kaos thought for a moment. "Isn't that the strange planet made out of water and plants?"
"Yes, I believe so." Glumshanks replied. "They contacted me just now and told me that the Skylanders are being awakened, and are being sent back to Skylands."
"WHAT?!" Kaos screamed, spitting all over Glumshanks. "How?!"
"There are more Portal Masters." Glumshanks replied, wiping the spit off of his face.
"This could be an issue. How are they returning, anyway?" Kaos asked.
"Apparently a Temporary Portal." Glumshanks replied. "But it doesn't allow them to stay for long."
"How long is that?" Kaos asked.
"About 30 minutes, I think." Glumshanks replied. "Should we send in the troops?"
"No." Kaos replied. "But we should try to recover the Eternal Sources."
"Why's that?" Glumshanks asked.
"They'll obviously use them to rebuild the Core of Light." Kaos replied. "And if that happens, we won't be able to summon the Darkness!"
"Fair." Glumshanks replied. "Where shall we look?"

...

"I thought you knew." Kaos commented.

Shala and the two Skylanders ran past all the Drow.
Zook fired missiles at them.
Whirlwind shot rainbows at them.

Two Drow hid behind some barrels.
"We must alert Kaos to this!" one announced.
The other nodded, and they ran off.

Eventually, Shala and the Skylanders reached the cannon.
"Who's gonna use it?" Shala asked.
"I'm good with shooting so I'll..." Zook began.
"No, I'll do it." Whirlwind interrupted. "Last time we let you use a cannon, you destroyed an entire village."
"Correction: TWO entire villages." Zook corrected. "Get your facts right."
"Exactly." Whirlwind said. "If we let you use this cannon, you'll probably destroy the island somehow. I'll do it."
"Fine." Zook complained.

Whirlwind hopped into the cannon.
She began aiming, and fired an Air Cannonball at the Blimp.
It popped the blimp, and it crash landed on a nearby platform.
Shala, Whirlwind and Zook rushed towards it.
Flynn landed the Balloon next to it.
"We did great! Let's connect this baby onto my Balloon!" Flynn commented.
"We?" Shala questioned. "You just sat back and watched from overhead. You didn't help."
"That's not true!" Flynn replied. "I made sure no Drow escaped!"
"And did any?" Whirlwind asked.
"No." Flynn replied. "I think."

Glumshanks was on the phone. "Uh-huh. Okay. I'll tell him. Gather the others and meet up back at the base. Okay. See ya."
He put the phone down.
"Well?" Kaos asked.
"Two Skylanders and what appears to be a human just defeated the troops in the Sky Schooner Docks and stole a propeller."
"They must be going after an Eternal Source! But which one?" Kaos cried.
"I hear the Air Source is in the Stormy Stronghold." Glumshanks suggested.
"Where did you here that? From your sources?" Kaos joked.
Glumshanks facepalmed.
"Okay, okay. Send the some of the army over there immediately!" Kaos ordered. "Tell them to recover the Eternal Source first!"
Glumshanks nodded. "Will do."
Glumshanks ran out of the room.

Kaos sighed. "Being evil is hard work. Maybe I shouldn't have dropped out of school."

Sophie, Mike and Stealth Elf were sitting on the beach.
"So what'll we do?" Mike asked. "Can we really trust what that guy said?"
"Well, Stealth Elf says he's okay, so I guess we can." Sophie replied. "But how will we get to London?"
"What modes of transport does this planet have?" Stealth Elf asked.
"I guess we could either take a boat or a plane." Sophie suggested. "Both would take a while, but I guess the plane is the best option."
"One problem." Mike said. "Shouldn't Stealth Elf keep her identity a secret? Most people don't know that Skylanders are real, and may freak out."
"You've got a point." Sophie said, with a sigh. "Boat it is then."
"I could wear a disguise." Stealth Elf suggested. "Then we could still take a plane."
"Then we'll take the plane!" Sophie cheered.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Mike cheered.
"Actually Mike, you should stay here." Sophie replied.
"Why?" Mike complained.
"Someone needs to make an excuse for where we are, and both me and Stealth Elf need to go." Sophie replied.
"Boring!" Mike complained.
"Just yesterday you didn't want to help!" Sophie argued.
"Yeah, but yesterday was too hot." Mike replied. "Plus England is much cooler."
"Too bad." Sophie said. "You have to stay here."
"You can still assist us if you wish." Stealth Elf said. "If you can search this location for more Skylanders, or clues, then that would help."
"Fine." Mike replied, sitting down. "It's better than nothing. Still rather go to England though..."
"Alright, let's go!" Sophie cheered.

Chapter 16: Air Attack!

Flynn landed the Balloon in the Stormy Stronghold.
"Here we are, the Stormy Stronghold." Flynn said. "Now we must find that Eternal Air thingy! And by 'we', I mean 'you guys'."
"That figures." Whirlwind said.
"Let's head on over!" Shala cheered, racing on ahead.
Whirlwind and Zook followed.

Drobot woke up. He was sleeping in Dan's front room.
Kate, Lucy, Hannah and Steve were also sleeping in Dan's house, but in other rooms.

Drobot approached the table where the Laptop rested. Before they left earlier, the Portal was also on the same table.
He looked at where the Portal was. He noticed a few marks from where it had been removed, but that was obvious.
Looking closer, he noticed a long piece of hair. On further inspection, it appeared to be blonde.
"I will need to analyse this later." Drobot commented. "While this could be from the thief, there is also a chance that this is a red herring."

He then walked into the kitchen. Hannah stood in there with a glass of water.
"Oh, hey Drobot." she greeted. "Didn't think anybody was still awake."
"I became thirsty while sleeping, so I woke up to obtain a glass of liquefied water." Drobot replied.
"You're always talking so technical." Hannah said. "I'll get you a glass."
She went to the cupboard and took out a glass.
Drobot began thinking. "If I recall correctly, she was captured by that Umbra person. He also claimed that she was a villain, along with Steve, while he was the good guy..."
"Here." Hannah said, handing Drobot the glass of water.
"My thanks are given." Drobot replied, taking the glass. "I will be returning to slumber."
Drobot then left the room.
"I wonder what he was just thinking about..." Hannah wondered.

Shala activated the last switch. The island was finally pulled together.
"That took longer than expected." she commented.
She ran over to the island. Zook caught up, and Whirlwind flew overhead.
"I see the Air Source, and it's guarded by Kaos' Minions!" Whirlwind commented. "I'll start fighting them off."
Whirlwind flew to the top of the island.
"Let's go." Shala said, skating off along the path.
"Right." Zook agreed, following, and shooting at any Drow in the way.

They reached the top. The Eternal Air Source was inside a small tornado in the centre of the platform.
Whirlwind shot some storm clouds out at the Drow. Shooting a rainbow out too, it bounced off the clouds and knocked out more.
Zook created a bunch of Cacti, which shot up and knocked out more Drow.
Two Ogres chased Shala. Luckily, she tricked them into falling off the edge by moving too fast for them to catch (Ogres are not smart creatures).

Shala accidentally ran into the tornado with the Eternal Air Source in.
The Air Source then began glowing, and shot a beam of light blue energy at Shala, before flying off.
"No! They got it!" an Ogre cried. "Retreat!"
All the Ogres and Drow ran off.

Flynn flew overhead. "Strange, I thought only the Skylanders could collect the Source. I'll run this by Hugo later. Anyway, we should head back to the Ruins."
"Right." Shala said, as she began to disappear.
Whirlwind and Zook also began disappearing.
"Shoot! Has it been half an hour already?" Flynn asked. "That's when the Portals effects wear off and you go back to that Earth thingy."
"Figured as much." Whirlwind said. "Tell Hugo we said hi."
"Will do." Flynn said, flying off.
Shala, Whirlwind and Zook then disappeared.

Shala, Whirlwind and Zook jumped out of the Portal.
"Where have you guys been?" Charlotte asked.
"We were in Skylands." Whirlwind replied.
"And it was awesome!" Zook cried.
"Well it's been boring down here by myself." Charlotte complained.
"Yeah, sorry." Shala said, scratching her head. "But it was kinda out of our control."
Charlotte noticed something on Shala's right hand. "What's that?"
"What's what?" Shala asked.
"On your right hand." Charlotte replied.
Shala looked at her right hand. The Air Symbol was imprinted on the back.
"What the..." Shala commented.
"Could be from when the Eternal Air Source hit you with its power." Whirlwind suggested.
"Can we talk about this later?" Zook asked. "I wanna get out of here."
"Right. Hop on my back." Whirlwind said.

The Following Morning...

Kate, Lucy, Hannah and Steve were eating breakfast.
"I'm heading out for a walk." Drobot said, walking outside.
"Yeah, okay." Kate said. "What for?"
"Just need some fresh air." Drobot lied. The real reason he was heading outside was so he could find someone.
He then walked outside.

Shala, Charlotte, Whirlwind and Zook walked around London.
The streets seemed empty.
"Weird... This place is never empty." Charlotte commented.
"Maybe it's from the Earthquake?" Shala replied.
"But it wasn't an actual Earthquake." Whirlwind reminded.
"Yeah, but nobody else knows that." Shala reminded.
"True..." Whirlwind said. "Anyway, where are we heading?"
"No idea." Charlotte replied.

Umbra and Chop Chop were watching them from a distance.
"It seems like one of the Portal Masters has awakened." Umbra commented.
"So the Legend IS true after all..." Chop Chop replied.
"Of course it is." Umbra said. "I also had the stones to prove it."
"Yeah, but you could have faked them." Chop Chop said.
"Fair point." Umbra replied.
Drobot flew over to them. "Found you!"
"Oh, hello Drobot." Umbra said. "What can we do for you?"
"Our Portal was stolen last night. You wouldn't happen to know where it is, would you?"
"If you're suggesting that I stole it, then stop there." Umbra replied. "I have a Portal of my own, powered by the Dark Stone."
"I figured that you'd have a Portal, but I thought I'd make sure anyway." Drobot said.
"Anyway, I believe those down there have the Portal." Umbra said, pointing at Shala and Charlotte.
"More Portal Masters?" Drobot asked.
"Exactly." Umbra replied. "But I can assure you that they found it lying in that crack in the street."
"Seems like somebody wanted to get rid of it?" Chop Chop suggested.
"Maybe." Drobot said."But one question first: Who are you exactly and what are you doing here?"
Umbra sighed. "I have already told this story once, but I guess telling it a second time would be fine."
