Good news! Yesterday I managed to procure Wave 2 from my local EB. Sadly their stocks were limited, but I did manage to get a full set.
This should mean we'll be getting a reliable source soon.

Sheep Wreck Island adventure pack and the Arkeyan Crossbow battle pack have been released in Australia so you should expect to see it in NZ soon.

I picked up Sheep Wreck Island from EB Games and Arkeyan Crossbow Battle Pack from Kmart.

Still haven't found any other characters from Wave 3 yet...but am braving the Christmas crowds again today, and will update if I find any : )

On a different note, if you go to your Profile, you can review your prior posts. You should be able to find the other thread/s from there.

Most likely, you can't see them but they are hiding in a subsequent page in thread list of the forum.

Really? I'm glad we didn't have to wait too long for those goodies, all I need is those two and a sneaking swapper!

The thread I started about sheep wreck island out in Oz got deleted too.

Wave 2 is now out in NZ JB Hi-Fi and most Warehouses.
Jolly is now out in Noel Leemings.

Big W in Brisbane CBD have lots of Arkeyan Crossbow and Sheepwreck Island packs, for those interested.

So has Aus got wave 3, or is it just a fluke you got those packs now?

Seen quite a few new battle/adventure packs around in Australia. Have not yet seen S3 singles or swappers or S2 Lightcore or L Nightshift.

We don't get the legendary figures here - but interesting that the adventure/battle packs are coming out pre-wave 3. Hope we see them here soon.

Wave 2 here was also a staggered release so the premise is that will be.

19 Dec is an Oz date being bandied around right now, based on a conversation one person had with a "knowledgeable" salesperson (can't remember whom).

In Qld Oz I just picked up Sheep Wreck and Arkeyan Cross bow at k-mark, my kids are going to be very happy on xmas day....

Just went to K-Mart to see wave 2 cores as swappers in stock as well as the arkeyan crossbow battle pack, sheep wreck island adventure pack and some remnants of wave 1 swappers, I also noticed they had a couple of jolly bumble blasts in stock. This is in The mt druitt Kmart in NSW

Yeah, I was going to e-bay some of wave 3 and the adventure pack, but the Mighty Ape dates have prompted me to save my money instead.
Their Wave 2 dates were pretty close (although JB got them in slightly before Mighty Ape did), so that'll be roughly right.

New Zealand gets stuff after you, and we have 14 Feb as the date - so I'd imagine between end of Jan and start of Feb.

End of Jan noooooooo, I was hoping to pick them up before new year.

I haven't notice anything new out, I think Tel's date of the 14th Feb is so far away for Stink Bomb, Spy Rise, Rubble Rouser in Australia.

I joined the Toys R Us VIP club in order to see if I would get notified about the release of Legendary Night Shift, so far no news yet. Personally I think it will be mid to late January for the rest of wave 3 and Legendary Night Shift in Australia.

I did a bit of a bulk buy of skylanders that I didn't see in Australia off ebay and picked up Legendary Night Shift. these are some of my ebay purchases:

RED DRILL SERGEANT, gitd SONIC BOOM, gitd DARK CYNDER, LEGENDARY NIGHT SHIFT, ROYAL DOUBLE TROUBLE, Giants Sidekicks, VOLCANIC LAVA BARF ERUPTOR, BLUE GNARLY TREE REX and HALLOWEEN EYE BRAWL.

The USA are so lucky with how they can get everything at a good price.

Just to clarify, the Feb 14 date is for NZ. No idea for ozzy, but I'd guess between 14 Jan and 7 Feb, based on the normal time difference.

Yeah went out yesterday checking the shops and no new skylanders. Happy new year....

Just found an Australia site doing pre orders for Stink Bomb, Spy Rise, Rubble Rouser and it is for the 14th of Feb so it looks like that site is in line with NZ.

Just picked up the crossbow and sheapwreak island packs in a Wellington Warehouse.
If you're keen for the 2nd advenure pack (or want series 2 Camo) you should cheak out your local.

Big W in Australia has some of the Wave 3 packs for preorder on their website.

Both are listed for a January 20 release date, but no sign of any swappers. Personally I hope they are available on the same date.

That 20 January date in Oz lines up with the 17 Feb date in nz. That's about the normal time difference.

Anyway i just picked up arkeyan crossbow at warehouse

Just went into EB Games (Australia Queensland Brisbane) today and they had some of wave 3 of the swap force. I picked these all the new guys they had Stink Bomb, Spy Rise, Rubble Rouser, L Wham-Shell and L Count Down. I went to 3 EB Games stores and only two stores had some stock out and they said the only received one of each so I got 4 in the first store none in the second and the third and Stink Bomb. My kids went crazy when I showed them the new guys and one of my boys thought L Count Down looks so good.

Ok two posts in a round but a few days apart, in Brisbane today I saw those wave 3 guys at Garden City in Big W and JB so off you go and buying the guys your missing. :-)

For kiwi fans : it looks like Rubble Rouser has a date of 28th of January on Mighty Ape. Not sure if it's a typo, or if wave 3 might come sooner than we were expecting.

Bit behind on this thread, I actually got alerted to Sheep Wreck/Crossbow packs by a friend of mine locally.

So we may get wave 3 before Febuary? That'd be nice, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on Stink Bomb.

JB Hifi (Wellington, NZ) said they think Rubble Rouser is coming in this week. Although I'm not sure if it's all wave 3, or of it's been split for NZ.

Word I've gotten recently is 23rd, that is tomorrow. I'm going to confirm this before work today.

I'll second that. As much as I'd like the reposes/new core figures, it's nice we're getting more swappers, including the oh so sought after sneaker.

So we're 'missing' the same ones as you, eh? I'd love those missing ones, but I'm so happy to have Stinkbomb and Spyrise.

Spyrise is totally boss. I loved the steam-punk spider look the moment I saw it, but I avoided checking out his powers until playing as him
Wow - he is totally out of this world. Really interesting skills (like the scan) that are unique, some skills that are frankly overpowered (he has the most powerful stealth/teleport/dash ability of any figure) and some skills that just look awesome (like the wrist blade).
Instantly my favorite figure.

And Stinkbomb is no slouch either. Like Stealth Elf, only better. And he looks amasing in-game and he's awesome to watch.

I have to say, because both halves of each swapper has it's own tree, they feel so much more powerful than standard figures. Not like giants, where that power was balanced by slow speed and a giant hit-box, but definitively more powerful characters.
Having said that, I'm sure part of it is just them running out of more balanced power ideas.

Target is having a big Australia Day sale, and there are some good deals on Skylanders on page 18. Not sure how Skylanders are associated with Australia (except maybe Dino-Rang), but whatever. Anyway, they have the three new SWAP Force members and both new LightCores in the catalogue, as well as the Tower of Time and Arkeyan Crossbow packs. I threw the latter two on layby with a Wii U console bundle, and I intend to sort out some more within the next few days.

Sadly Hastings is having some issues stocking the new swappers/Lightcores. I'm skipping the lightcores, but eh, I've been working so I wouldn't have had as much time for them anyway. Hopefully I'll have them for the weekend.

Yes that is strange here in qld in can never find any wave 3 landers and when i do there is only i or two left, so far i have seen lightcore countdown lightcore wham shell sheep wreck island spy rise and that is it but i still dont know why they are being sold out so fast ?!!!

Noel Leemings has been fruitful in Hastings, I'm half considering going to them instead of EB to land the core figures when they show up.

Incidently I've wound up with a second Stink Bomb. I'm gonna keep him boxed unless someone else wants a present.
