Are we still getting gold, energy, xp or gems for delivering invitations. The past two days I noticed that no rewards pop up when delivering an invite. Has something changed with the Monday update?

I'm still getting rewards as per usual. I've experienced a few weird things in this game, but what you're describing is extra extreme weird with cherries on top.

Nope, no problem for me either, In fact just picked up a couple of gems from some people yah!

I have the same issue. No rewards pop up and after carefully checking before and after a visit, either no reward is being given or it is all XP which is not easily detected. I don't visit every day so I can't be sure if it started before the update or not.

Just noticed that when i get gifts and tap on it I only get gold, but there is no amount (and I don't actually get anything). I don't want to delete the game since I am level 36 and have read horror stories on here about lost data. Hopefully this is fixed with the Monday update.

I haven't had any problems yet. I will definitely watch closely though.

I also have this problem too. The social features are definitely broken.

I don't know if it is relevant, but the game forced me to login to Activate earlier today. I'm not sure why I was forced to relogin. Not sure if it is related, but it was unusual behaviour.

If the gifts are going to malfunction, wouldn't it be nice if they spit out nothing but gems? How come THAT never happens!

(So far gifts are working normally for me today (meaning too few gems for my tastes!).)

I'm now getting the same problem of gifting only showing a gold icon with no amount. The only thing I have done differently recently was a small amount of time travel to recoup the bonuses lost due to Super Tuesday's inevitable time zone issues. Could the time travelling be the culprit that broke the game?

This is a possibility since I recently did the same thing re time travel. If this is the issue, what is the solution. I have still been sending gifts, but it is annoying not to be able to get anything back.

I'd say Level 36 is confirmed as the culprit then. CrazyCanuck was the first to get to Level 36 (he did it in two days), and he was quick to report the glitch. Another good reason not to rush to the level cap. With 100 friends, that's an awful lot of gifts to be missing out on for an extended period...

Damn. I bet you're right. And that means I've had the bug for like three days longer then I noticed. I didn't notice it until someone else complained about it and then I checked.

And it makes sense. The amount of gold you receive is dependent on your level. Higher level players get more, just like the max gold prize in the well. I bet the didn't implement values for 36 to 40 correctly (or at all).

They implemented at least one of the Level 36 values correctly. I can confirm the Level 36 money prize in the wishing well has risen to 100,000 gold, having gotten it twice.

As for the gifts, it's no longer a question of what's wrong. It's now a question of when will they fix it? That really is a very big hit to take on your daily income. With 100 friends, I'd guess that's around 10 gems we're losing EVERY DAY this goes unfixed. Not to mention the other 90 per cent in lost gold, energy and experience.

I am at level 34 and i have had no problem receiving or giving gifts. I have kept my friends at 30 because in the past if I had more than 30 friends and went visiting it would crash. Is that still happening. I also get rid of friends that have not been on the longest when I get new invites to keep it at 30. I will not be dumping people now if that problem has been fixed. Also just saw the hamburger nothing to see here. Happy labor day all. I am a teacher and school is starting back up so the amount of visiting will slow but I will still be gifting.

I'm close to 70% of the way to level 36. I guess I'm glad I was going more slowly. Though now I've optimized bonuses on my buildings and was starting to pick up steam. I think all stop collecting kingdom xp at around 96-97% until I hear from you guys that they've fixed this bug. I really want the 20+ gems I get each day from gifts and invitations.

After reading the posts on here I tried really hard to hold back on reaching level 36 but just fell over the edge. Now I'm in the same boat!

I'm hoping they'll fix the social networking bug soon. What are you guys who Re experiencing the same problem doing about opening gifts received and sending gifts? I've opened and sent gifts to friends who are at lower levels but haven't done the invitation thing.

I was opening/sending till yesterday but since my experience is first gift from new friend is a hk, I want to hold off opening till they fix it (hopefully tomorrow)

I am still opening and gifting everyone level 35 or lower.

I'm not having any trouble along these lines -- glad to be level 33 today! -- but I am noticing that gems are incredibly dear this weekend. I just finished visiting 30 friends (90 invitations!) and came away with 2 (TWO) gems. They're never plentiful, but this is ridiculous.

I am sure it will not be fixed today. It is a holiday. Probably not even tomorrow. But hopefully soon!

I have been reading the forum awhile and finally decided to stop in and say hello. As others are reporting, I am also experiencing issues after advancing to level 36. So far, here are the things that I have experienced, which may or may not be due to the level change.

1. Sending invitations seems to function normally except no rewards are received in return.
2. Receiving gifts results in an image of the gold coin, but no amount is displayed and total gold remains the same.
3. The contents of the wishing well have altered to now include Ninjini's House, Cupid Flameslinger's House, and Grill Master Chop Chop's House whereas Hot Head's House has been removed. Also, the gold amount increased from 60,000 to 100,000 and there is now a Bed and Breakfast. Most of the well changes are good news of course, but I wish I had known about the changes before spending many of my stones in order to get Autumn Stump Smash. I got the 60,000 gold coin top prize 4 times and feel like I cheated myself out of 160,000.
4. Strangest of all was what happened when I spun to get a new Skylander. I had all but 3 of the regular Skylanders, so I was not surprised to see Double Trouble come up. I knew it would be him, Boomer, or Wham Shell. The strange part is that he was already at level 2 and was only a few experience points short of level 3. Sure enough, I sent him on one 3 minute mission and he became level 3.

By the way, I appreciate the information that you guys and gals have posted here. I hope someone finds the information I have shared helpful as well.

Its really annoying to collect bugged gifts in order gift back. Only a day or two more of this and I am going to stop gifting.

Personally I think they should give all of us suffering from this bug a reward of some kind when the bug is fixed. We've all missed out on a lot of gifts as a result.

It has just hit me.

The reason why those last gems came through the App Store was because if they had it in normal play people would keep using time travel to go back for more.

Please confirm for us that you have a full roster of 100 friends to sort through. While you are at it, please point me to YOUR submission on Activision Assist asking for this problem to be fixed. Because I couldn't find anyone else apart from myself who could be bothered to report the problem. Awaiting your reply.

I'm selfishly staying at level 35 until this is fixed! But I won't boot anyone level 36 or higher if they've stopped sending gifts.

That's ok Woz, i understand and will wait for the fix. I appreciate the fact that the leaders go through all the "bugs". If you could tell us how to contact activate assist, I can try and put my two cents in and get them working on it if that will help.

It almost would be best if people stopped gifting to level 36 people. I can blow through my list and gift 100 people in a minute. I don't mind gifting at all. But having to clear bugged gifts is annoying.

I just worry that people will stop gifting and then not start again. Or they will defriend us if we stop gifting until the bugs are fixed.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that Level 37 is equally bugged.

People on this board that I know I will not defriend.

I just hit level 36 and found out about this bug. I'm still gifting, but may try to cut back on gifts to lev 36+ players.

It hadn't occurred to me that it wouldn't be. In case there's any doubt, level 38 didn't fix the issue either. If it isn't fixed in today's expected update I'll confirm level 39 when the time comes.

Interestingly, for all the complaints about giant houses giving out XP again, I'm finding that they are barely giving me any. The crawl from 38 to 39 is slow going compared to 35 to 37. At 37 the XP took a sharp nosedive.

Besides fixing the gifting bug, it would be nice if you didn't have to clear a gift to send a gift. Also, sorting the friends list by level could help in situations like this.

Or by regifting percentage. Not necessarily for this situation. Just for general use. I'd like it to be easier to see who actually gifts back.

I just hit level 36 and now my gifts are bugged. I tried to open all my gifts before leveling up but the rest for the day has been a waste in gifts. Does it hurt anyone if I keep gifting? Once the bug is fixed I hope the level 36+ players could open the normal gifts... Or would they still be bugged? I don't want to stop gifting people who are still getting the benefit... Are my gifts to players at level 35 and below now bugged?
